Two Meme

I believe about every Wednesday a fellow blogger, SONG BIRD takes part in Hodge Podge question which host by THIS SIDE OF PONDS
So I decide to give it a try. Remember this is first time doing this one

They say you learn something new every day. What did you learn yesterday?..My Youngest (Son) Bart called and told me that his M.R.I (Magnetic Resource imaging) and NO sign of his brain tumor returned.

Have you ever had a now or never moment? Elaborate....I learn when I person says never or always usual somehow experience something to the  contrary. As for "Elaborate" it's only way to tell a story.

April 25th is National Telephone Day. Do you still have a land line or have you gone mobile only? When you receive a text message do you respond immediately? Last time you turned your phone off?  In two or three sentences share with us a story/memory/incident from your childhood (or something current if that's too hard) where the telephone is featured....Since I'm over 50 and we do have a land line. But we switch over to VoIP phone and it goes though my router. And I can call any where in United States,  Canada, or Mexico for $35 a year.

Close call, at some one's beck and call, call the shots, call a meeting, call it quits, call in sick, call on the carpet, wake up call...which call have you 'heard' recently? Explain....When it comes to pay our taxes. My hubby and I was trying to figure where the money should come from....Well to me it didn't matter were it came from as long as it get paid for...I told my husband it will be paid in full and if it isn't we will be fighting.

What subject do you wish you'd paid more attention to in school?...Yes. All of them. I even thought of taking some Math classes.

Insert your own random thought here....Sure made me think, and it was fun.

I don't know who start "Wordless Wednesday" But here is LINK who might want to play.

We still have a landline as it doesn't cost us any extra and the calls are free.

  6. Glad to hear Bart's tumour has not returned. Gave up the landline a few years ago as only telemarketers used it. Since I need a business number, i have had a cell for a long time. I don't have data on my phone, even though it is an iPhone. That is just a time and money waster.

  7. Good to hear about your son's tumour not returning.
Here's a hint for taxes: maybe you can put aside a couple of dollars each week in a locked money box and when it comes time to pay taxes next year, you'll have the money right there, in that box.

    1. Maybe I should of Elaborate on the tax sitution. I stick a little over 17% out of my check. For some reason my hubby thought we should of take it out of saving.
I real didn't care which funds the money came from

  8. We didn't have a phone until I was about 14 years old. Now we have a landline and a mobile for each of us, but we only use the mobile to text one another when Andy is up on the land. We don't answer texts or calls from anyone else.

  15. Dora,

Thank you for visiting yesterday. I apologize for the slow return. Life gets busy some days and this is no exception. I enjoyed reading your responses. I'm happy to learn of your son's good mews. PTL! VoIP is wonderful and inexpensive but it does come with the one draw back of losing phone service when the power fails but we use it, too. I must dash. I'm running way behind. I'm not sure if you joined my WW linky party but you're certainly welcome to get onboard. Have a good afternoon!
