Race Horse Dream

Dream that my husband and I own a race horse a dark bay with one of the hind leg with white below the ankle.
He was at a stable painted white with  very light touch of gray. The roof was a dark green with also a touch of gray.
This horse was name Edition and it won a lot of races, and was in the winner circle a lot. But leading the horse around the barn area. I secretly want him not to come in first. I told Edition that it would be ok to place 2nd or 3rd. This way we still be in prized money. But not in the winner circle. And I would be more comfortable.

Morning VS Evening Post

I been hearing it best to journal in the morning? I look at my blog as possible a journal and a lot of other things.
Question time...when do you feel is best time of day to post your blog?

I'm more ambition in the morning then other time a day. I figure my mind, and spirit in better state, if there such a thing.

This morning I went to my weight lost group and I was down 1.5 pounds. I did stay way from sweets quite a bit. Please don't get the ideal I did it 100%
But our group is now doing. Pick three items you need to work on and work on these items...Mine are no sweets, increase movement, and water.

It been slow going with Sawyer and Betty rag rug. I'm liking the brown around the edges so far.

Well I found they cut back Liz CBRS (Social worker)  to one hour a week. Not sure if she was getting 3 or 2 hours a week.
They want the personal care givers to take up slack. But with our current adminstrain I don't see them increasing my hours or wages to take care of this.
It's not I can't handle it, but Opinion time...They need a variety of people in there support system just not one or two people.

Been picking at my family history. I just realize that my great grand parent Elisha and Cythia  (Brunson) McCalmant had only one daughter Maud Alice and 6 sons. Although they both had children from previous marriage.
I learn at one time he was a game warden.
He died the same year I was born. My mother thought Her Great Aunt Ellen was some one who put on an act. I'm not sure were she gain her info. But my mom wasn't one to make up stories...She said Aunt Ellen would clean her home up and call a minster in and tell him she was dying. The lady live well into her 90's.
any how this is my great uncle and great aunt...Guy and Ellen (Fraily) McCalmant.

Yes, Johannis We Will Move Forward

As a fan of history. I still look forward a future. But I pick up a new surname Blackwell in my Genealogy. Know nothing about them at this time. But I know Sara Blackwell married my 4th great grandfather Garret Bower. The last name been spelled Brouwer.

It been one of those day. I woke up with congestion and a little rough in the tummy. Then a little blue. But I been keeping busy, by doing what every.

I clean up and so I can start to set up my snowman collection. This one I bought last year after holiday 2016. I need someone help my pull the storage bin that my snow people collection is in.

I plan out this up coming week in my bullet journal. I'm planning for light week. Some time we just need not a such a go getter attitude toward life.
Then I did up my December calendar.

I been doing locker hook rugging at this time. Well it one of Sawyer and Betty present. If all work out I'm flying out on the 7th of December. I got all the gift wrap.
Bart and Molly locker hook rug is done.

I plan to do a little shopping on cyber Monday. Less then $20 worth. I'm going get these sock for one of Liz grandson. And I need to fine a pajamas set for my grand-daughter. One of her gift is a new set of PJ and some books.
I have two other things but I might need to wait until next pay day.
We got our pick up fix and it was just under $400 and then I will be receiving a bill from our local hospital who did my mammogram. To be best I can figure out the hospital billed my insurance and it only pick up part of it, $60 some dollars, and I will pay the rest, $275 some dollars.
A lease this hospital works with you. So If needed I can make payments.

As you know my yesterday post was on the passing of Daisy. I'm doing ok, every so often I tear up. I did remove her go fund me page. and other little thing that re-late to her.
Next spring or mid March I will start looking for anther little doggy, although not sure what it will be.
I know there a little puppy dog out there that is suited to be part of this home.
Like I post in yesterday blog. The money was left in her account I gave to three charity though Go Fund me...DON CANCER FUND...CARLA TRIP FUND...and HENRY FUND which is going to an animal shelter.

Question time...If you just blink and have one thing disappear what would it be? Mine would be narrow mindedness.

Ms Daisy We Will Miss You

It's with heavy heart that we decided to have Daisy put down. Her tumors start coming back at faster rate and more of them.
I felt bless that a scared little girl was found under my son Sawyer mud bugger. Although we're not total sure her age, I would guess around 13 years.
And she had a loving home...
I like to Thank those who gave to Daisy GO FUND ME. Since not all the funds haven't been use. I'm going to give part of the money that was donate to her. I'm picking 3 charities at $150.00 each.
DONS CANCER FUND CARLA TRIP I personal know these two people.
I think it way cool when someone doesn't want any present for there birthday. So this young man is asking for donation for a local animal shelter...HENRY FUND
In a short time I will be removing Daisy Fund soon

Mr Bird Sends Warm Wishes This Thanksgiving

It was a very simple Thanksgiving. It was just Murphy and I. So since it was Thanksgiving I figure we should have a center piece on the table, plus a table cloth.
Although we didn't do the nine yards with dressing and such. We had a small turkey, fresh cranberries, and bake yam.
I did up some egg custard.
It suit us just fine. I don't feel like I over did it.

Talk to Sawyer today. We're changing our plans going down to Medford. the following week. One thing I try to get my grown children something fun for Christmas, piece of  clothing, and a little for there home. This year it going to be locker hook rugs for the home.

Today I wrap some of the gifts, we will be taken down to Medford Oregon. Still waiting for Betty socks and I need fine Sawyer something. Thinking of T-shirt. Having the saying "Native Bonners Ferry, Idaho" but it depends how much it will run. Actual I'm hoping to fine something else.

I don't do Black Friday. And those business who open on Thanksgiving won't get any of my business this up coming holiday shopping, it's for friend and family to recall there blessing. I doubt any of them is getting time and half.
I can understand hospital, police, and fire being available. But I call retail just being greedy.
So I'll go over to Regis tomorrow. Then I ask Liz if she want to do little shopping this coming Saturday. Its SMALL BUSINESS SATURDAY and I rather put my money in our local economy.

If I Could Blink and The World Would

I might be sounding like I'm placing a noose around my own neck. If I could blink and my client life could be easier I would even if it means loosing my own job.
To be quite honest I like them in there own way.
I been worried about Liz. Her youngest son is going to some type of rehab program. It could last 6 months to 2 years depending how well he does.
Now her and I went to Sandpoint and we stop in at Good Will she brought a Christmas tree. Which made me happy that she planning for a future.

Every Christmas I'm not a big spender and part of my holiday budget I figure for those who are less fortune them I. So this year I'm going to get a little something for each of Liz grand kids. I don't recall how many she have, but I know there all boys and the oldest one 8.

As I was over looking though the good will I usual look at the size 12 and dream a bit that I might once again wear. It actual sort of got me down. Depends on how the clothes are design and cut. I wear usual 1x, or woman size 18.
Gee depends how one want to count the size. 3 to 4 sizes. I should be looking maybe at the size 16.
I was up a pound. The strange thing I have the tools to loose weight and I don't. I know the heath risk.

Looks like a quite Thanksgiving one side of me I'm a little sad and the other hand it will be relief just having simple dinner with my hubby. Not sure what he going to do but I'm think of Turkey noodle soup, instead of the entire nine yards.

It Does Take It Time

Friday as I was heading to work. I notice our steps out the kitchen door.  Looked slick and it was. Thought I had it all under control. First step down I went down. I got up and I couldn't move freely.
In short time as I started to walk about I felt better. Well when I woke up Saturday morning...oh I hurt.
So Saturday went down with some local pagans and started to plan a PAGAN PRIDE for Northern Idaho and Eastern Washington.
It went well for our first gathering but there still quite bit to do. I'm the sectary and treasure for our up coming. Also I'm part of promotion and advertising. Then when the event happen I'm going to be a floater/host...Walking around and see if our guest our comfortable.

I got my locker hook the other day in mail. I have a plenty to go on it. I'm leaving the week after Thanksgiving to go down and see my kids in Medford Oregon.

I ended up taking a muscle relaxer it help some. I couldn't fine any way of being comfortble. I would set and then I would pace about.
Muscle relaxer seem to help, but usaul these pills can make one sleepy. But I wouldn't make a statement I'm going full force, either.

Maybe Monday or Tuesday I will give my weekly report how I did on my goals from the following week. And the ones I'm set for this week.

Past Mid Week

I believe it been 2 days since I post. Not much exciting things happen. I recall being young and the thought of boring was just awful. Now I appreciate "uneventful life"

Today I went and have coffee with my friend Qunella at under the sun, an Qunella brought a friend. So we all visit.
I did possible found a couple of Christmas gift there. I try to shop in my own local community.
I was looking for pine green votive candle, no luck finding such a thing.
Let see I went to, I believe is 8 business to see if they had the candle I was looking for. So now I'm using red and white candles.

Liz and I went over to the free lunch at Methodist church. It was pretty good. No desert for this gal.
It was Liz birthday today and I forgot her present. So tomorrow I'll bring it in and buy a bowl of soup for her at under the sun.
Liz been doing up her new apartment. Some one gave her book on the shabby chic look. Now it got me wonder. Question time... What is the difference between Bohemian look and shabby chic look.

I've set an INSTAGRAM ACCOUNT and the last two days I been looking though photos. So it amazing what one can search for.
Example tonight I was fabric, fall, and farming and it was strange what actual pop up.

Not much to talk about and I need to write a check for my health insurance.

How To Use These Efficiently

Some Day Are A Shocker

Before I get to the pick up issue. I'm going to the 30 days of gratitude...#9 What place are you grateful for

Now on to the pick up. I went to work, and my client Liz was at one of the local thrift store. I got call from my hubby Murphy.

Found it he has at what we call Husky. Well the pick up broke down and found out he had it tow. 

What I understood he pulled out on highway and pretty much just stop he got it to the side of the road.

It wouldn't restart.

I had to finish up with Liz and one thing my clients are good heart. Once I got Murphy and took him home. They might have there issues but there kind heart. I've work with one I would call "evil" 

So we're waiting for a phone call to see what wrong with it. I ask if we waited a few minutes and to see if something with the fuel filter or pump.

He said he did.

Well not sure what it will cost. I know there a hook up fee and so much mile. The mileage would be ruffly 5 miles. 

I've suggest a few times and got no where that we should have towing. Depends on the price is what size of  towing what size of fit I'll toss.

Usual this time of the year snow start to fall in the valley about now. I'm start to color my 3 pentacles card and my next card I will be doing the 2 pentacles. Some ask me about Daisy she about 12 years old. It been a while since I POST A LINK about her fund raiser. She in pretty good health.

I was shock that Murphy didn't toss a fit about the rig broke down actual he handle it pretty good.

Just Passing Though Sunday

Yesterday which was Saturday, felt like Sunday. Well today is Sunday. One thing I try to do on Sunday is get my self organize for up coming week.
It's been while since I share a photo of Daisy

I know Monday I'll be going over to Troy for my quilting class. One thing I would like to learn is how to do is appliques on things.
I'm leaning for Christmas 2018 doing hot pads for people.
I still haven't locate my locker hook tools.

I did order a few items for Christmas. And few non-Christmas items. It's estimate that the American Family will spend between $900 to $1,000 on Christmas. Not even close to these number.
One thing I try to do is purchase my items from small business, when possible.

So Regis want to go down to Sandpoint this up coming week. I need anther tote to put my fabric, it's just flung around, Wal Mart will have this.
I also want to stop in at ZERO POINT and get a few reasonable price stones for my Yule Alter.

I had 76 things last week in my bullet journal today and I complete half of them. Little more this week I have plan to do.

# 8 30 days of gratitude...What book are you grateful for?...I'm not grateful one book, but I'm grateful for all the wonderful books they have at the library.

Hookie Dookie Spin A Bottle and Your a Frog

In the comment section in yesterday blog. I was ask about being a pagan in small town. It does have it problem. Not people getting into your business, but possible if your employed or running a business it could bring on problem.
There place for most thing in life. Statement time...I find it stremly rude to bring your political or religious view to work and family events.
Now we have social media to that.
There a local church who found out later that we were discussed. And nothing more as far as I know.
Maybe they think someone in our local pagan group is going to cast spell and turn them in to a purple frog. I sure hope they like purple. I hate to see people disappointed.
Anyhow a spell is a prayer

The dinner was ok at the assembly god church. Next weekend is our community Thanksgiving dinner, not sure if I'm going or not.
Our pagan group is heading south to SPIRIT LAKE. Sort half way between Bonners Ferry, and Spokane.
Trying to gather all the pagan groups and see if we could pull off a PAGAN PRIDE in our local area.

Then mid December we will have our ritual for Yule or the Winter Equinox. Part of our circle we're going to do the wheel of the year. Pagan celebration. We have 8 of them though out the year. I'll be doing Imbolc anther name ground hound day. I call it rattling of mother earth.

Organize some of my fabric. Look like I need some type of tote to put it in. Also put Christmas gifts in corner of guest room.

#7 of the 30 days of gratitude...What memory are you grateful for....As some of you may know my dad and my relationship wasn't always good...But he and my mother taught me others might have a lot worst then you...So every year my dad and I would go to down Spokane and do some Christmas shopping and part of the shopping. He would let me pick a Toy for a needy child, and of crouse he paid for it. Still until this day I still will pick up a toy for needy child.

Writting a Letter to Deity

I'm still working the exercise in working with Tarot...I just finish writing a letter to the high priestess...I thought it would of be or less writing a letter to one self.
But I was wrong. Mostly I talk about my insecurities and understanding that we can move forward on them. Although it might not be at the rate we like.
I brought I like bring Joy to others. I actual find this some what easy. I try not to frown and have a smile on my face. It amazing how one reacts to smile.
Well I won't go on and on about my letter to the High Priestess. Confession time...I start my letter by addressing her...Mrs Ah...To me it's disrespectful to call people...woman, girl, man or boy. We have been name something so it best to call people by there given name.


I had dream last night...A friend and I was exploring a city, which I thought might of been Spokane.
She was driving my car. We came on building and it was a church, but behind the pews some of the people was doing circle. I became excited. wanting to check and telling my friend, but she drives off. I went in and check it out and found out it and found out it was the Unitarian Universal church.
Since it was end of  there circle. I join them for social hour.
A little later I end up at there minster home. Which then I start to try to get a ride home. So I got hold of my friend and try to find out where I was, no address.
But the house was half brick (lower) and the other upper half a mustard yellow.
A big window and dinning room table with a white table cloth. Looks like they where getting ready for a meal. They had 2 green salad on and simple red candle.
I did get hold of my friend ask if she could pick me up close to Spague and University. But the minster never knew where that is.
But he suggest I take the bus up to Schweitzer mountain in Sandpoint.
As we were working on getting me on the bus to Sandpoint. I was getting out my credit card to pay for the trip and found he and his wife was having a hard time. I gave them $20 Edit note...I never seen his wife) and woke up.

My clients and I are going to a Thanksgiving dinner host by Assembly of God church. I know most Christan faith things or believe I'm dabbling in devil worshiping.
I don't think it right to prophesies about faith. There must be reason why there different faith...if it leads you in doing good and your comfort with it all. Your in the correct faith.

I'm trying to locate my looker hook tool so I can start on Sawyer and Betty rug. I thought it was the coffee table. So I clean it and nothing.
I know if I order one it would show up.

# 6 of the 30 days of gratitude...what in nature are you grateful for...Hubby suggest...skunk cabbage so I would stand out...But actual I'm grateful all the change in the season. Spring rain and puddle jumpin. Remember when we were young and jumpin puddles and every so often we would end making a big splash.
Summer storms, leaves chance color in the fall. The winter snow it remind me of peace.

I won't put in links. I'm betting most of you heard now that twitter is letting those who tweet 280 characters. I have wonder if they boost the total for some of politician. I'm fairly sure they didn't do it for little ole me.

Liz and I went about town. Both us like Thrift store. The other day with Regis, he and I stop in at the good will and I got this jumper for my grand-daughter Claudia and only paid a dollar for it. None of the piece I got for my grand-daughter cost over $4.00

Since I'm talking about grand-daughter I just love this photo...I call Grand-daughter having a conversation with her daddy.

Now I'm on #4..What food are you grateful for...I'm not grateful anyone food when I have a chance share good food and good conversation those I love.

Better Pay Attention

Not sure if I'll be going to work later in the day or not. I haven't put in any time with Liz. She isn't home and her rig wasn't there. She isn't much to venture out much by her self. So I called and drove by the place she usual goes.
I know she see her head therapist this afternoon, and I'll call around four to see if she around.
This coming Thursday her son Paul has to go to court for his sentence. so who knows what will happen. This isn't his first rodeo when it comes to court system.
I sure hope he gets the help he needs.

We're planning to go down to Medford after Thanksgiving. As I notice we're in November and I haven't started on there looker hook rug. I did decided to pin the edges down. I did get the colors of fabric cut.

I found these on esty and I thought they would be nice for my daughter in lay Betty. I've been trying to get hold of my son Sawyer. No luck so far. I need to know her shoe size. The odds are he won't know the size. So I will tell him some time in very near future look in a pair of shoes. To see what size they say.

Weigh in and I was up. We're going to run a contest though the holidays. To see who can loose the much weight.
One thing we all agree on it should be simple. Make our own chart of three things we need to work on. I know one thing I seem to have an issue is getting enough water in.
I did know my mammogram back and it looks good.
I know the health trouble of being over weight. And I continue to be.

I'm doing 30 days of gratitude and today it's the 3rd day for me...What color are you grateful for...I'm grateful all the colors the world would be dull if we didn't have multi colors.

Over The Edge

Went to the library with Regis down in Sandpoint and I've always like the bear in there. There library has a great selection of every thing. Usual Regis gets movies. I got three Cd's, the ones I got...Styx, Blondie, and Stevie Nicks. But I got a DVD called Yoo-Hoo Mrs Goldberg.
We also stop at few other places.

I was hoping to do the High Priestess exercise. Opinion time...I think majority of us has access to our inter being or guides.

Some time I fold egg whites in my pancake batter. This one of those morning I did. Since I mention food. Weigh in at my local T.O.P.S group. No more comment on this subject.

Over on facebook I'm taking doing the 30 days of gratitude..."What technology are you grateful for?"
Confession time...I moun and groun about about the time one uses with technology. 
But I think i'st pretty cool that one can take a photo and it fits on little chip like thing. And in instead someone some where in world can be looking at photo you take. 

Time No Right Way To Look At It

At one time we didn't have TIME ZONE or DAY LIGHT SAVING TIME. Time was once kept by non-number. Right as I'm typing this out...I could say...It was snowy afternoon one sunrise after joining my pagan group for lunch, at the Kootenai Brewery. Well it would be simple to say It's 1:45PM
I don't think we actual need to change our clock twice a year. But which one is the best. I say split the difference.
In 2019 when we set the clock back in fall, set them back half hour and leave it there. If we don't keep the time zone in place I can see real problem, mostly because of our world of quick travel.
Question time...Do you feel we need change the clock twice year?

Once again over on facebook I been challenge to take part in "black white challenge" it is to post 7 black white for 7 days. With no explanation and also 7 people to challenge to do the same.

I saw this challenge on facebook and decided to do the 30 days of gratitude. And I challenge 6 of my facebook friends to also do this challenge.
Today I did the first one...What smell are you grateful today...The smell I'm grateful is "cedar" it reminds me of "Yule", and which reminds of yule, and bring out our joyful spirit.

I let my thoughts go and what would be my inter magician...Magician, we all have the power in our self to change our self. But we have no right to change others.It going against our free will.
Experience makes us better magician. If we truly learn from our mistakes. Sure mistakes can cause all sort of emotion, and which should make us better beings. And gives us opportunity to be the person we need to be.

No Picture Just Words.

I thought I would give a chance to post during the week. But work both inside of the home sure takes energy out of one self.

One of my facebook friends made comment about the Russian Group, PUSSY RIOT and I forgot about this group.
Opinion time...Our President Trump and Russia President Putin is from the same pod. Don't think either one want to benefit there country own people.
Trump wants to take us to what we once called the GILDED AGE and for the Russian People it would be there called, TSARIST AUTOCRACY I believe.
President Trump propose tax plan. In my life experience this sort of taxes of trickle down economics. Remember President Reagan and his taxes, and the middle class start to struggle then.
Usual who benefits from this is the big stock holder and currently the new age robber barons.
Not saying one should pay there taxes and support there government. I thought I wouldn't be saying this...but we need some type of flat tax rate. I understand there still income here in the United States shouldn't be paying taxes. Opinion time...The first $44, 376 per house hold should be ducted and $9,007 per person. Anything after that one should pay 20% of there income. 
Now there the corp taxes. Maybe that should be looked and ran like personal income taxes.

It snowing. And last night it got down to 3 (-16) and that's cold. In perfect world I like about 6 inches of snow. No more less and stay perfectly white.

In little while our pagan group Spairfitera will be going to KOOTENAI BREWERY for our shoot the breeze outing. We were going to have a small circle up at cemetery and our high priestess had a seizure. So the circle been cancel.
I hope it nothing to serious.

One thing us pagan basically have 8 celebration and now I wonder which is the best time to set up the proper alter for each. I'm thinking the new moon would be best. But for yule would the new moon in November or December would be best. I bet I will split the difference.

Did a little shoveling snow out to the mail box. So I could get my pay check and I won't deposit it until Monday morning.

Finish Up the Last Harvest and October 2017 Check in

This is the time we pagan celebrate our last pagan holiday. I figure holiday would be more comfort term for some us you.
If you take a minute and look at a calendar, we're mid point between fall (Sept 23) and the winter solstice (Dec 21) and after that the days will slow creep to longer days.
We celebrate or remember those who on the other side. This is time we believe that those who have past my contact us in some way.
I bet most of us have some memories of family or friends who pass way. One way pagan does celebrate is that when they set down for the fest they will set an ask plate and place food on it. In hope that those who on the other side of Vail will show up.
Now if no ghost or spirit join us for the feast. We will take the food and make an offer to the god/des.
No the pagan to don't chop off chicken heads, and turn people into frog and such.
Believe me most of us have plenty of power to control what comes into our life. If there some nasty element hanging around. It best to ask it to leave nicely. None of wants to be talking rude. Usual that works but if it doesn't then you may have to be more firm.
We need to have bounds and sometime we need to set bounds with those spirits who we don't want to hang around.
Last thing I like to mention it ending of our pagan year and new starts for us November 1st.

Editor note...I meant to post this Oct 31st and I've been busy, with work and haven't had a chance.

So now we're into the second day of the month. Today this morning I had a mammogram. Went to see my son Bart and his wife Molly there doing good. And it always good to see Granddaughter Claudia.
When Murphy and walk into there home. Bart was what we called golden milk and it smell so good and had to have a taste, and it was good as it smell.
1 cup of coconut milk
1/2 teaspoon of turmeric
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon of ginger
Maple syrup to taste
heart over medium heat

As you can see we got a little bit of snow. For snow to stick at this time is a little rare. We do have snow but usual it gone as quick as it comes. Usual it doesn't stick until mid November.
One of our biggest expensive this month was tire for my car, which ran us $700.

Since I spent $700 on tires I bought Daisy a new stuff toy, clueless who it is. But she likes to chase it and shake it all about.

Then our next biggest cost would be food. We spend right around $278 on food this month.
Warmest day was the 6th and 7th and it got up to 66 (18)
Average high for the month was 57 (13)
Coldest days where the 3rd, 8th, 24th and 27, at 31 (-0.5)
Average low for the month was 35 (1.6)
Been getting some walking in and I average 4.75 miles (7644 meters) in a day.

One thing I like to do is MY BLUE MIX I call it my blog therapist. Although I don't use every post but I try to use a variety of post though out the month.
