Weekend Photo Hunt (Grapes-Jewelry)

Not much for grapes growing in North Idaho. But if you want some grape you can purchases grapes out of the produce section. Then you can buy some juice. But if you want a little fun. Then you can get bottle of wine.

I know very little about wine. I know red wine you eat with dark meat. White wine you drink with white meat.

Confession time....I pick my wine by the name on label. Just picked up a bottle of “Twisted”

This cameo belong to my Grandma Elise. She was wearing this piece of Jewelry when she married my Grandpa Clarence in 1903. They later divorce.

Question time...Does any one know if there a reason to put a skull on a cameo?....Does it mean something?

Be Extra Careful What You Wish For

When wishing for anything ones needs to be careful of the size of there wishes. I thought I was lucky I only gain 1 pound for the week.

Not sure if it was having lunch at KOOTENAI RIVER BREWERY Or a combo of choice I made. Had small rye beer, chicken-avocado-bacon wrap or the side of sweet potato fries.

Also I didn't put enough water down.

The reason we went there was to meet Dianne parents Paul and Dara. Seem like nice common folks and he is in to hiking.

They own CAMP TIME.

I'm still taking my walks and now I'm up to the 7^th power line pole which is a little over mile and quarter round trip. My left hip and knee is causing me great pain. So the walk took me a half hour. On Wednesday I like to find a different area to walk. I take my camera and post them on my face book ALBUM

After my weigh in I met with Quenella at UNDER THE SUN for a cup of coffee. And we chit chad a bit and both agree wishing for a different life then what you currently have, would bring on a complete new set of problems.

We just had primaries in Idaho and the candidates who won in the Northern part of the state was those who don't believe in any part of the federal government.

I could do an entire post on this put for now I'll leave it be careful what you wish, one could end up with more then can of worms.

All Most Stupid

Murphy and I put up a garden trellis. Actual surprise it went smoothly and we utilized the material we had. I'm not sure if I'm happy were it at. I would like to put a fourth of my veggie garden in berries of some type. Right now we have strawberries and red raspberries.

Since we put up the trellis it might be better to have the berries up in the front part of garden because of afternoon sun

But it would look unbalance because the place we put in the raspberries.

Fence post came off out property up on the bench.

Hanging wire on header which we all use more whips from the bench. We got wire though different resources

 Finish trellis quite happy with the results. I know I would like anther one but half the size. But the reason I'm calling my self slightly stupid I'm not sure if I would like a trilies place here or exactly where.

The "royal sunshine flower bed" is blooming. I got plenty of "Star of Bethlehem" and some time in pass I planted them out in this flower bed. which shouldn't.

So today I dug up some of the bulbs and transplanted my zinnia. I could use some later blooms.

Yesterday Murphy and I planted out all of my Alium. which includes 33 Copra Onions, 87 Ciplionia Onions, 55 Spanish Onions, 18 Ambition Shallots, and 16 Lancelot leeks.

Put in about a 21 foot roll of Redbor Kale and 21 foot of Danvers Carrots half length.

Out in the mail box was my favor fall bulb catalog from JOHN SCHEEPERS

I know of two bulbs I would like order later this summer. I could under a ton but we don't have a ton of money.

I'll talk to my friend Quenella and see if she would like to split an order with me.   

Weekend Photo Hunt (Mirror-Yellow)

Mirror seem like we get reflection of the world. This is me taking a picture of my car left side rear view mirror. And I get caught in act of picture taking.

This is the best I done with primroses. Last year Faith let me dig a few of hers and the only one survive is the yellow ones.

Recently she gave me some start of her purple DRUMSTICK  and hopeful they will bloom next year.

I'm so thrilled I got even any primroses to bloom. Even just one color, yellow.

Dirty Rat

I took all my stain tops out of my closet. As I was sorting though the tops and every top I wondered to my self how could a middle age woman, be so mess.

It look like I eat like I should be sitting in high chair.

To be a politician my guess who would have to be a dirty rat to play there little game. Actual I'm not sure what size of dirty games they play.

Sure glad the election is over. I know this is only wishful thinking it would be nice if the politician would go and pick up there campaign sign.

Even if the winners picked there up they could be reuse. If Murphy and I waste money like our elected official we would be living under a bridge in some slum area.

Been walking on the south hill of Bonners Ferry. Today walk was on the west side of highway 95 on Denver

Our telephone company, frontier Not the place you pay your bills. I don't think anyone eves dropping or looking much on what I do.

Anyhow if one sees my spelling and grammar. They get frustrated and throw the towel in.

Sure a lot of pretty blooms now

The local Episcopalian church and there bell.

Park my car in front of which one time was the old bus stop. Don't think Bonners Ferry has a bus stop any more.

It has a mom and pop business. Years ago it was Kones and it been several different types of business. Now once again it empty.

Not sure if it walking or reduce calories. I been slowly shedding pounds. Cut way back on junk foods. Once in while I plan to be a naughty eater.

I been eating between 1,800 and 2,000 calories. A person needs between 10 to 15 calories per pound. Other factors need to be consider. So when I start this I was about 212 and I would need about 2120 to maintain that weight.

Confession time...I don't like being cranky. So I figure I reduce my average calorie intake between 200 and 320 calorie.

I just can't give credit to one certain thing.

People Used To Grumble About the Communist Only a One Party System

Been looking over the primary ballot. Not sure how many out there knows Idaho is pretty much a one party state.

A republican state. I know the communism government only gave there people a choice of one political party to vote with.

I grumble about only having a two party system. But I feel I have no other choice then to take the republican ballot.

Sure there other candidates but the majority people are on the republican ballot.

For me the big thing is not to pick a TEA PARTY candidate.

 Not overly thrilled about any of people running. But I want to give a shout out two candidates is HARLEY for governor of Idaho.

Mr Harley is candidate who briefly put it in simple term....“I’m about as politically correct as your proverbially turd in the punchbowl,” Harley continued. “I’m going for the vote of the real people out there, not these bondage types, people who don’t have a clue about picking up strangers at night and hauling them off god knows where. Try that for a while.”

There plenty to say about Idaho government race but only going to leave ONE LINK But if you want to be entertained a bit just google it.

I like to Sean Blackwell take away our current congress LABRADOR seat. 

BLACKWELL is the only candidate on the republican ticket I can get a little thrilled for. Actual the reason I'm voting is to try to stop the far extreme right for gaining in Idaho.

I know I can be to extreme left on lot of things. 

Like I said "This is my blog and I can vote for who every I please"

Weekend Photo Hunt (Abstract-Water)

Abstract is something one doesn't look straight on. Then you try to figure exactly what your looking at. That's my take on it.

Our first birdbath didn't work out, birds could see there reflection and didn't use the bird bath.

Facing The Music.

Before I headed in my weigh in and Tops meeting. There were a few items I took care of. Nothing real big. Actual was to line up things when I get home.

Murphy headed up to the property on the bench and I'll meet Qunella at “under the sun” for some coffee.

  Before I went to my T.O.P.S meeting I did a quick general pick up, dishes away and sprayed the last set of ornament I did. Now they'll be placed in ornament box.

At our TOPS meeting we had a celebration. One of our members lost down to her goal weight and is now a KOPS.

And one other who lost a large amount of weight . Well today I had the biggest weight lost for the week, 3 pounds.

We had finger foods and I cut up some papaya and stuck some toothpicks in them.

We just had some coffee. But before we had our coffee I like to browse though the store. Well today I found some “penis hand wash” I'll just assume it for those men that our jacking off.

We got our coffee and went out side and chit chad for a while. One think we talk about our family. Quenella said she told her mom she wasn't going to do wedding at her gardens or least for a while. Her mom reply was. “I thought it was a stupid ideal”

I guess it's that generation who don't want to loose the stats of “The greatest generation”

If Qunella had successful wedding business then her mom would be saying something like. “That the best ideal you every had when you came up with the weddings”

Believe me I can total relate. Actual I could do entire blog post on “Your worship of those who has the golden cow”

I find it total disgusting.

Clean Up On Aisle Four

Sometime a person need to get rid of trash. The trash I got around here is keeping me down. Not letting me move forward.

I know there plenty of cleaning in the basement were I want to put in ceramic studio. But I need to get rid of other trash. So it could be possible I can organize.

We have good items that it not being utilized.

We purchase chickens when there on sale. Cut them up. Divide them by breast, fryer, and stew meat. Well the other day I boil up some stew pieces and bone them. End up with some chicken and dumplings.

I figure yesterday was mother day and I should eat what I want.

I started to go though my dresser in our bedroom. I only been though it once. What I took out is trash that can just go in recycle bin or regular trash. I know there other items will be toss out, but they don't need to floating around.

Don't need personal info such as someone could use and ruin me. Fact is if someone want to use my personal info to gain in world. Sure won't be moving on up.

Clean out the ash in the wood stove. Took out four buckets of ash out and put it on the garden. We got a new rot-tiler. The one we had was just to big and it was pouring gas out of carburetor.

Murphy Nephew Manu bought from us for $75.00.

He and his girl friend was up here for the Mud Bog out in Moyie Spring.

Sawyer haul his mud bogger up. Drop off his dog “Boo” and went out to Mud Bog. Not sure how daisy felt about the guest. But I have to say both of them like to chase the ball. Plus there no clean up with the puppy-dogs.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Sport-Street)

I don't know if playing chess a sport or not. I start this ceramic chess set when my sons were little. Never had a chance to finish it up. I'll have to fire the old paint off in my kiln. Simple because I don't recall the colors I used.

Missing one pawn piece to Indian side of the set. Never got the cowboy side to the set.

Personal I don't care if you don't think chasing a ball is a sport or not. But Daisy thinks it is the greatest sport of all time.

  

On Wednesday I like to take a walk a different place each time. Lately I been walking on the streets on the south-hilll of Bommers Ferry.

Last Wednesday I took a short walk on EL Paso street. Murphy Grandma Elizabeth lived on this street.

Not sure what this street is called but walking has a lot of good benefits.

One Thousand Ninety Five Days.

Not sure or is anyone sure of the future. In a blog post called LET NOT SALE USE PANTIES I moan and groan about work and about in home care.

At this time the client treat me good. Just take my word for it there some real assholes out there.

But the future with my present day clients is sort of shaky. So I been strongly thinking and weigh out the possible of reopen a ceramic shop in the basement.

I figure my income would be about the same having a ceramic shop and what I'm doing in home care.

For about a two week pay period. I put in 16 hours and earn a little more then $205.

Working the same amount of hours.

If your wondering why I don't put in more time. Medicaid assign hours to the in home care clients. It real simple you don't get paid for the unsign hours. Next time in home client gets a review they could get a decrease in hours. Statement time... lot of them should be cut back. Next time in home care client gets there review they could get a decrease in hours. Then except you to put in the extra time with out pay.

It doesn't pay to be nice doing in home care.

I know I won't make a killing. But if it in my basement there would be no rent cost for building. I have all the equipment to run a ceramic shop. Sure they would be some cost. I figure about $500 to set up the basic shop. I still have quite a bit of shelving material that could be used. One thing is a must is two venting system one is for sealer spray and the other one is for when clay is being mix in the pour tank.

The studio area would be in the basement. The measurement would be 15 by 24. That is with out the shelving in.

The place I'm standing were the green ware shelf would be.

Standing by one of the entrance. Which all of this pile would have to go..bye bye. Against this corner would also continue a little bit, for greenware and bisque. About were the metal shelf would be the turn in the green ware and bisque shelf.

  Taken from the other entrance. In that corner I would put in my spray cabinet with a vent. Plus a cubicle which people could rent and put there project in. And a firing shelf.

Were my desk and lap tap is now that would be for wood and supplies. Paint, decals, cleaning tool and etc,

This picture was taken were the first chair about six feet from the stove. Looking toward the greenware and bisque shelf would go.

Lot to do. But in all honestly I don't see it happening this year or even next year. If something happen to my client I could pick up the pace.

Actual I have easy client. I can come home and do things around the place. Like clean my shelf out in the barn.

Recently I read in local co-op paper...Housing market is volatile ride in Boundary County (were I live) first quarter of 2014 medium price for a home. -34.8% ($100,750) In 2013 house went for $152,750.

Looks like only 20 units sold in 1st quarter of 2014. Last quarter of 2013 they sold 35 homes.

Like or did I say..My over head would be low having the shop in the basement. Renting a building and you can see our economy in this area is struggling.

They would be a slim to none that I could even cover my over head.

Not Blind Just Can't See It.

Today my friend Qunella picked me up at T.O.P.S Murphy ran me into town and he went up to the North Bench property to see how the logging is doing.

Before I go much into Qunella. I haven't been to a top meeting for the last two weeks. I was surprise how much time A to Z challenge took. I guess there one call A TO Z ROAD TRIP I'm sitting this one out.

Only two people lost at our local Top meeting and the rest of us either gain or maintain.

Today topic was “why aren't you loosing weight” or “why are you loosing weight”. Two things for me recently not attending the top meeting. It makes me accountable knowing when roll call I have three option to say...”up” “down” or “maintain” One thing I notice when people have big lost or gain. The tone in there voice changes.

The program FITDAY seem to help and I didn't keep up on it for the month of April.

The reason Qunella came out was to work on her site. We went though her resent pictures she took. For the life me I couldn't figure why I'm not getting up the changes on her home page.

I think she shit canning the ideal of holding expensive weddings. Personal I don't know if anyone would have one. But I thought the odds were pretty high.

But spending a half hour or so in her gardens is quite possible. Only if I can figure out how to copy and paste in sight. I done it before but some reason I'm missing a step. I'll get it and it not worth pulling my hair out.

Yesterday I groan about IN HOME CARE and I was planning to blog about putting a ceramic shop in my basement. But other things went on today.

Like me helping Quenella and odds an ends chores that need attending to.

Let Not Sell Use Panties

I just started to go though my dressers and getting rid of ratty looking crap. Confession time..I refuse to wear someone else used undergarments. I wouldn't aspect someone to wear mine. Even with me and I guess everyone else changes there on a daily bases. In all truthfulness I don't see any of my panties being place in a yard sale.

This stuff I'm talking about now is the second go around. I'm shooting for a late summer or early fall yard sale. After the shed/barn one.

I didn't go to our last meeting which is held twice a year. Well they send a letter to all of there employees...”There has been a drop in hours, due to members not covering their hours. Management has to turn participants (clients) away because of no interest in taking on the participant or the extra hours.

This is your company you're representing and it doesn't show as a credible agency when we need turn participants(clients) away or explain to family as well as medicaid why hours haven't been met.

If you want to see the profits you have in past it's important you work with management and we cover the hours that are offered.”

I don't think management is all that stupid. I'm amaze and shake my head with medicaid. Crap a lot of participant (clients) only gets a few hours a week. And they live way out in ding toolies and one drives a lot of miles and it won't even cover your fuel cost.

Can't they get it though there thick brainless skull. Statement time...No one want to drive to work for very little hours and not even cover the cost to get there.

I know there people who only needs a few hours a week of help. But some type of daily perduim for travel cost would be fair.

One of the tree nursery Murphy worked at, during the spring dig (haverst) you would get a $20 bill just to show up. Because you had to drive up to Porthill. Plus your hourly wage.

I been doing some thinking about in home care. I couldn't ask for any nicer client. Let face fact Faith is going to be 92 in December. When one gets up there one doesn't know how long one got on planet Earth. “None of us really does”

Carrie and her husband Hershal are flipped about moving back to around Kentucky. He has family back there and both are quite close to his family.

Like my family she isn't all that close to her own kin.

To be quite honest I wouldn't blame them one darn bit to head back east.

So I believe I'm loosing my clients not sure when or if. Although if Hershal and Carrie head back East. He will be eligible for social security in Mid September and I would guess they would head out in Spring of 2015.  

I don't want to sound uncaring. Majority of these people who thinks they need some “nigger” to come in there home and take care of them. Most of them your wasting time and it loosing battle.

I found the two worst people is those who draw straight S.S.I and those who are so high on lord. Crap those who are on straight S.S.I are clueless what fuck work world is like.

Those who are so high on lord and believe your blessing from “God” Well if your blessing from God why in hell do they treat you like shit.

Now but some one on S.S.I and their a full blown Christian and they have no trouble putting the screw to you.

But I'm not sure what going to happen with my clients. I have over 2,000 ceramic molds and other ceramic manufacturing tools what I'm making doing home care. I could but a little shop in our basement and make the same amount I am now.

 got the shed shelf sort out for my yard sale. I know I'm repeating my self. Once the garden is all plant I'll do a yard sale. Which will be after mid May and before mid June.

Murphy rototiller the garden. We started some seeds. The allium type of seeds are doing real good. This will be our first year doing shallots from seeds.

For my flower. I could never do very well with primroses. Last year I went out and dug some Faith collection of them. Although the only one actual made it is the yellow ones.

There quite a few early flowers starting to bloom such as fritillaria, tulips, primrose, and hyacinths.

The router for the computer went tits up. Saturday Murphy and I stop in at local pawn shop and see if they're offering one for sale. I went and ask guess what I forgot there also a router for wood work. Then we went in to Radio Shack. There cheapest one was $50.00

Anyhow the manger there just doesn't set right with me. For some reason he reminds me of snake in grass.

Actual I would of call B&G Auto electrical to see if my car was ready on Monday. But Murphy decided to go down to Sandpoint this morning. We need a battery for the riding lawn mower and other stuff. We got a router.

When we got back we went over to what they call “Cross-port” area and picked some Morel mushroom I would guess between both of us we got about five or so pounds. Any how Murphy picked to most of them.
