Weekend Photo Hunt (Joker-Painting)

First time I heard the theme for this weekend photo hunt theme, Joker. First thing came to my mind was song from Steve Miller band the song called the Joker

Off and on the different part of the song keeps going though my mind. I believe this would make a good cover for any Cd that feature the song the Joker.

 

There is a lot of things around here that would make a great painting including Ziggy. I believe we would be best done in water colors.

At one time ages ago I've diddled in painting. Maybe sometime I might just picked it up again but I don't see my self doing it this year or next.

What Area In Life Doesn't Have It's Ups and Downs

I thought I would have a few picture for this week photo hunt and also of our family reunion. I brought my camera but left the card to the camera in the computer. Had to reset the camera knowing that I wouldn't get that many pictures.

Now I can't find my usb cord that goes to my camera.

This time our family reunion was held at Pothole lake over by Moses lake. There where 50 of us there about, a small family gathering.

Confession time...I wonder if I was born in the wrong family. I look at our world a lot different then some of my family. Actual some of them have some real stupid ideals and don't bother asking me where in hell they come up with these ideal.

I know sometime I've have few dumb ideals and even done some dumb things.

Here one of them. There a farmer who lives down the road from us. He let some local septic company dumb there waste on his field. “Human Manure” my Aunt Eve is all worried about someone buying the hay or eating a beef that ate the hay that came off the field that in the food chain one could get aid.

My first cousin Baron came the farthest, Nebraska. He one of my older cousin. I hardly know him he grew up in Havre Montana. He just retire off the railroad.

He will get retirement of $3,000 a month and he is winning it so little....Statement time...shit we're sure not going to live on that, when Murphy retires not even close. I figure will be just find. I would guess they don't know how to live frugally.

The little bit I've known Baron seem like a pretty nice guy.

I wouldn't use the term hate. Which is actual a little strong of term to use I have trouble with two of my cousin. Statement time...They never done anything personal to me.

My cousin Jon is just plain weird. I don't mind people being different then me. I ask Murphy if he thought Jon was weird. He thought so to.

I guess he use to baby sat some of my older cousin born let say 1953 or earlier. I sure wouldn't let him watch any of my kids.

He done some family research some of us are wondering if he fantasise that our family has some glory back ground of Irish royalty and or criminal back ground.

I even ask Sawyer if he thought Jon was weird. He ask me if I was talking about the short ball guy. I said “yep” his reply was also “Yep”

Editor note...Jon hasn't done anything to be alarm about.

My first cousin Laim who will be 64 years old this up coming October. For some reason he irradiates me. Not as much as he once did. “Crap he thinks he is the best does matter what it is, my cousin Laim is the best...not”

Hell he got fired from his teaching job down in southern Idaho. Not sure the whole story is but I know he thinks “Lesbian isn't an acceptable life style”

Statement time...Hell I have relatives and people in my area don't think my life style is for the birds...I try to take care of our planet we live on.

As I may bitch and moan about my relatives most of them would bend over backward to help someone. The truth be known Jon and Laim would give you a shirt and the buttons would be sewn on.

Most time by now a lot of things are dried out but not this year. I don't have many flowers in bloom now, roses, petunias, and hollyhocks are in bloom.

My hollyhocks and roses are pink. Then my petunias are purple.

The hummingbirds are really going though the sugar water we make up for them.

The garden is doing super. Between Friday and Saturday morning I put up 17 pints of pickle beets. Froze 8 quarts of beet greens.

Go With the Flow.

Sometime life can be a real adventure. But there time in one life it's easier to go with the flow. Friday Murphette and I got her daughter Annie and son in law David on the bus head to Texas. Once we drop them off I decided to drive over and see what Sawyer and Bart was up to.Both my son sort of lives with there cousin Sam and Amy.

To get there I went down sprague ave heading east. I came to stop light at sprague and appleway merges. At that stop light I knew my Toyota Tercel was in some type of trouble. I thought my clutch was messed up. So I knew I had to get over to my nephew and nieces place. So driving though traffic with or with out a clutch is a lot different then non traffic.

I can shift with out a clutch...not going to explain how to do it here..the trick is to get your getting your r.p.m up high enough. Well I was running red/yellow lights all the way there. Kept a close eye out for cops and the traffic.

Well I got us there. Confession time...I wasn't to concern about my self but for Murphette it would be a complete different story if we didn't make it over to my nephew place, she uses a walker. But this trip we didn't have a walker but we took two cane for her.
 Bart drove us home in Sawyer Land Cruiser.

Well Sawyer called I think it was two days later and told me and my link-ch cable was broke and it should be fix by Friday. I'll picked up my car on the way back from the family reunion.

My cousin Holden and Amari use to live next door to us and they move up to Fairbanks Alaska. There home became a rental.

So  neighbors move in and out and a new one will be moving in shortly. I just briefly met them seem nice enough. But I been cleaning out the basement.

Actual it wasn't to bad. I've clean for rentals and for real estate companies and some people are just plain gross.

But this isn't real what I want to post about. I can't believe how much chemical they had in there basement. Even before Murphy hauled out bunch of chemicals. I mean these relatives of mine has some nasty chemical. I bet most of them been pulled off the market ages ago. They even had chemical one would use for dry cleaning.

Plus at one time they had a hot tub in there home in a small room closed in. They been gone for more then two years and one can still smell the chemical you put in pool and or a hot tub. But it isn't as strong as it once was.

Amari fought cancer several time. Statement time...I have to wonder if the chemical in there home had any thing to do with her cancer. I know her family has quite a history of cancer.

He actual my first cousin he would be my Aunt Eve middle son. Not much cancer in our family.

One time he made fun of things I ate...I was eating an avocado and called it hippie food.

Statement...I see these people having major medical treatments and they ingested tons of nasty chemical and I'm including cigarettes. I don't have trouble someone having a treat here and there but on regular base it whole different story.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Work Place-Zany)

On my job for a personal caregiver in someone home. There quite a few different tools I use at my workplace. But the most use is common sense.

 

I'm not sure what zany is but I thought the clouds looked zany.

It look like I won't be doing next weekend photo hunt. We're heading over to a family reunion at Pothole Lake which is by Moses Lake Washington.

But the theme for next weekend hunt is dance and metal

Like most major holiday we went over to Faith place. Neither one of our son was up for the 4^th. I figure both of them our spending time with there girl friends, in the cities.

Actual this was one of a smaller family gatherings. 10 people this time Terry parents were up visiting from Phoenix Arizona.

Terry is a full-time national guard and he will be deployed right around October. At this point he will be going to Afghanistan.

Confession time...I never understood...about loving your country. I have to say I don't love my county but sure don't hate it. I guess I'm not true patriot person. I've heard people say they die for there county right or wrong. When something isn't right why die for it.

Majority of war though had something to do with religion. Then other stuff we fought over and for are corporation earnings, control, and political gain.

I look at this whole war bullshit...if everyone jumps off a bridge does it make it right it just makes it plain stupid.

Well one last thing....Usual any project Murphy does there usual quite bit of swearing. Well he worked on a coffee pot although didn't get it fixed. To me it was total joy and relief that it wasn't done with out a string of swear words.

So I finely got one my wishes that he did a project that didn't involved a bunch of swearing. Statement time...I'm going to make every attempt to remember when we worked on the coffee pot there was no string of swear word not one.

Weather Report for June 2012 and Other Stuff

The warmest day was June 28th at 87.8(31.0)

The coldest day was June 14 at 28.8 (-1.0)

The average high for the month was 72.3 (22.3)

The average low for the month was 41.1 (5.5)

Rainfall for the month was 5 inches (12.7)

Been getting all sort of Greens from the garden during the mouth. Two lighting storm came over us one was on the 11-12 right around midnight. The other one came toward the end of the month.

For majority part of this month (June) we use cash and I paid the bill with money orders. I do this twice a year.

When I make deposit in checking account...If I get a check for $145.17 I never record the .17¢.

Then when I write a check or use the debt card...If I use either one let say I get something for $23.98...I'll round it up to the next dollar so I would subtract $24.00 from my checking account. So this way the bank say I have more then what written in our check book register.

Yesterday was Murphy and my 24 years of being married. Live together for 5 years before that. Confession time...not often I thought of divorce. When I was thinking of getting divorce I soon came to the realization it was to good for him....I then change my thinking and figure I ought just kick the shit out of him....These thought real didn't happen often.

I been ask how we been married for all these years. I just don't have one answer to it....Let just give short tidbit of marriage wisdom....You can't change anyone including your spouse...if you want to change someone (including spouse) you better start with your self.

Playing the blame game...One needs to look at your self and take responsibility for their own doings...Now if your not the blame and don't back down....There been plenty give and take in our relationship...nothing wrong with compromising...One more and very important thing enjoy life and each other.

Slow As It Goes

I think I got it or least part of it. Murphy and I carried out some old particle boards to make a small new veggie garden. This garden space will be 240 square feet. Right now the particle board is being used to suffocate the lawn. Then as particle board breaks down it will be rototiller in the ground.

We decided where the next flower garden will be. Under the power line and it won't start all that big. This up coming fall I have chance to dig up some peonies.

We been eating fresh greens out of the garden. I finish harvest the first roll of lettuce we put in, mix lettuce leaves. Plus I found a few strays of kale so I add them to our salad last night for dinner.

Not much going on in the royal sunshine flowerbed. A few stragglers are in bloom. But a few more colorful bloom in my hodgepodge flower bed. The allium is trying to open. I don't know all the flowers that is planted out there. But the grass is doing real good. Which look like next fall it will need clean out total. The start over again. But for now I just pull out some of the grass when I get the chance.

Now for the shed/barn I been cleaning out slowly. Went out and looked at the next two area of the shelves coming up to go thought. This one we both need to go though it together. I took a quick peak in the boxes. I notice some rainbird sprinkler head and broken door knob. At this point this area the stuff is good or heading into the trash. I'll be surprise if any or much go to the thrift store.

I don't know why we kept the two teflon fry pans, teflon been off for years. Finely it out in the trash can.
