Oh Those Nasty Number

For those don't know I start back doing FITDAY my getting healthy isn't going as I need or want to. So I start to record I eat with Fitday.
But what I notice I notice these on line food journal seem to always is missing something. One of our T.O.P.S members uses MY FITNESS PAL
The other thing I notice between different food package, and even on line food journal the information on calories, and nutrition will very.
Well weigh in at T.O.P.S I was up a pound. My goal was to loose six and quarter pounds in a quarter. Well end of June would be the end of the second quarter of year, and I should of be down twelve and half pounds.
So that the main reason I start up with fitday. If I eat I posted on fitday.
First weigh in July I hope will to be down a pound, which I gain.
I did set my calorie intake goal of 2,060 to 2,310
Then my other 3 self set rules for better health is no eating after seven pm, water, which I will talk about in anther blog post. And walking.

It been a while since I posted a photo of myself. The three piece you see came out of thrift store. The lime green denim skirt I picked up a ninety nine cent rack.
I thought I was limited to what tops would go with the skirt.  When I toss it in dirty close hamper and it landed on gold color top, which would go great with it.
Confession time...The skirt I won't be wearing it long. Plenty loose on me. So if I even loose three pounds it needs to go.
One thing I like on my hamburger is PARSLEY. I just won't talk about my 3rd quarter goals after July 2nd weigh in.

  3. I have never heard of Fitday. I have done My Fitness Pal in the past and recently. Liked it better in the past.

  4. several of our TOPS memebers use My Fitness Pal, i found it cumbersome to use. i don't belienve you can lose weight on over 2000 calories. 1600 is a really slow way to lose, anything over that and i gain every week. i stay between 1250 and 1500 and loss is slow but i am never hungry. i did find that it matters what the calories are. like 300 calories of protein i lose weight but 300 of carbs i don't... i try to have no more than 35 carbs per meal and 20 to 30 for snacks, staying at 200 carbs per day works for me, that is good carbs not sugar and flour... i can't seem to find clothing for myself at thrift stores, maybe because i don't like to look through clothing. but i buy mine cheap at walmart, blouse 3.00 pants 5.00

  6. I love that skirt! Aren't thrift stores fun? When my daughter was in college her and her friends introduced me to them and now I'm hooked. - I started eating "clean" for two meals a day and then super picky on my third meal. I eat as healthy as I can on that one. My snacks are always fruits n' veggies and I drink 2 cups of coffee in the morning and then water all day and into the night. I've lost over 5lbs. already.
