Weekend Photo Hunt (Industrial-Spot)

At one time the timber Industry kept our community thriving. But at this time we don't have much for livable wage jobs. We could use some small industrial manufacture jobs in BONNERS FERRY  But health care is now the Industry is main key to our local economy. One of our employers is ACE ELDER CARE which is set up like a group home for elderly who needs assistant.
One thing in painting ceramics is to get the white spot in the right place on the pupil.

Next weekend photo hunt theme will be FUN and or ROCK

Coffee is on

  1. Health care is becoming big everywhere but it doesn't pay well unless you are one of the professionals.

  2. a lot of our nurses get paid more than doctors with their union contracts. tons of overtime at double triple and even quadruple. plus huge pensions and benefits.

  3. Hi Dora, interesting post about the industry in your hometown. The economy has had a definite affect on so many levels.

Painting ceramics is a awesome. Love the creativity and there's so much skill involved in the details.

    Have a wonderful weekend.

  4. I knew you were in the thick of it for the health care industry but I hadn't realized the industry was so big locally.

    That spot is so expressive.

  5. If it wasn't for medicare and or medicaid a lot of people would have any medical coverage.
Last figure I heard and RN is making about 20 an hour.
Lot of them head out of the area.

    Coffee is on

  6. Eyes makes or breaks a picture. I agree, the white on the eye makes a lot of difference.

  7. Yeah, healthcare is becoming a big industry here too.

  8. Healthcare is a huge industry here as our population is ageing fast...

  9. Health care is also an industry ! Especially for the pharma industry for making money !

  10. That tiny spot is not easy to get perfect... but I think you are spot on ;-)
    Happy PhotoHunting ~

  11. People will always need medical care, food, shelter and clothing. In Detroit we thrived on the auto industry.. Well, we see how that's taken a downward spiral.. Sad to see a beautiful, productive city like Detroit turn to rubble.
