The Old One Suck

My first digital camera batteries just got ate up in know time. I would guess batteries in this camera goes 3 to 6 month. Let just say 4 months. I didn't expect them to be dead at the quilt show.

This morning I went over to Regis did a little cleaning and visit. He laid down and I watch the OLYMPIC.
 I was watching them on Canadian Broadcast. Here in United States it seem or channel I get it just high lights.
There been some issue about my dad. But one thing we enjoy watching the Olympic and it was during the cold war.
I know I would enjoy watch some Olympic even the non MAIN ONES

I got anther $50 donate for Daisy TEETH CLEANING. So I match it $55. Sadly they couldn't give me the exact price.
It seem I do a lot better if I match plus add a little extra.
When I first started I was going to wait for the $400 and then stick the money so called under the mattress. But since I'm matching it on line. $800 is what actual I was aiming for.
But I'll think on it a bit. Before I make a decision what I will do.

Then this afternoon I went over to Liz. Took her to town and got her mail. She bought some BREYERS horse off and on the years. She bought them form E Bay.
Her and I worked on crafts. She knitted and I still want to learn how. I crochet a dish cloth. Still trying to keep it from going lop sided.
Liz is being consider for a Habit Humanity Home. Her living condition is horrible.

Still trying to located my 2nd great grand dad John Shirley with his wife Hannah Ross Shirley. But found who my husband 3rd and 4th great-grand parents were. The 3rd great grand parents was Albertus and Johanna (Vandercruij) Vandenberg. 4th great grand-parents was Baltazarus and Joanna (Vanderlog) once again Vandenberg.

Tomorrow weigh in at T.O.P.S I need to get focus about my health. I don't want to face the scale in morning.
If it down in 70's I'll toss the ball for the Daisy.

Batteries Not Included

Pick up Liz at her brothers in law Regis place. She was ready to go out. So I took her and I went to Sandpoint, and look at the Quilt show.
Took my camera and the batteries was dead. There were a few quilts I want to take photos of.
Liz found one she real like and so did I. Most quilt show let the people attending pick what they think is the best one.
One thing I notice most of the quilts are for king size beds. Not every one sleeps on king size beds. But there was sure some nice wall hangings.
Not try to toot our community horn. Our local community puts on a lot better quilt show. They charge $5 a person. It should of been $3.

Yesterday our local Pagan group Spairfiterea went up to to of Katka, almost and to celebrate LAMMAS. Not sure if they did a ritual for it or not. Murphy and I stayed and did some drumming.
I promise Liz that I would call her to see how she felt about going to the Quilt show. As you can read she went.

Eating at pot luck is some what difficult. I do ago if I set a plan in motion. Usual when I attend a pot luck. I say seven item practical  portion size. And I didn't.
Breakfast...omlent and toast
Lunch...stop at McDonold and had a dollar burger and strawberry pie
Dinner...ribs, corn on cob, beets, and potatoes
Snack a few mix nuts and cheese puff.

Hope I Got It Right

On Daisy teeth cleaning. I sure I got it set up now. One thing I don't want to do is with draw any money until there close to $800.
Last time I look I had $25.00. So I decided to match the amount donate plus 10%. Not saying I never did a dishonest thing in my life. I tell people I'm general over 95% honest.
So at this time it looks like there 53.00 for Daisy teeth cleaning.

Question time...Why is it easier to ask for help for someone else? There quite a few times I had to find help for my in-home clients.
Not sure this GUIDE LINE is net or gross. Both of my clients yearly income is around 9,000 to 9,500 a year.
Our 2015 adjustable gross tax income was $16,500.
I grip a lot on my blog, and I'm sorry if I irradiate people.  I should be a lot more thankful. A lease I don't have either one of my clients mind.

I got in still a short walk. and before I went left for work I vacuumed. And meant my friend Quenella for coffee at "Under the Sun"
Today Regis had his interview with the Medicaid nurse. This one has some under standing of the mental illness.
One of the medicaid nurse was doing a re-valuation for client ages ago. I brought up something with the nurse. She told me to "shut up" and I didn't have a bachelors that I didn't know anything...I look at her and said. "No I don't have a fancy college degree, but I'm here on almost a daily bases and I know what going on". Then I told her a lease I have common sense and empathy.
Before the medicaid nurse came Lana there social worker was there. She meant the nurse who told me to shut up.
Don't know if she quite or got fired.
She told me how she rode one of the client on having nail polish. Wonder how they could afford it. You can go to dollar store and get for $1.00. Or I've seen it in a thrift store usual under .50 cents.
Lunch eating been the hardest for me. Not what I eat but the time.

Sketch Out Pay Day

Checking account has about $130 or if anyone want to see what that worth in your country. CLICK HERE.
Look like my paycheck should be at $586. which is for 47 hours. The good news my other pay check will have 62 hours on it.
First thing I need to take out my part of social security, old age pension. The company I work for in home care line doesn't handle it.
So every month I need to stash away 15.3 percent. So right off I'll hide $88 and it due mid September. Last year I didn't pay quarterly and I got penalize.
It seem we always make it between paycheck and a little left.
Hubby check comes on the 24th.
Living food and gas to get to work $132
Insurance for the house $100. Got the house insurance bill $700. I swear it goes up every year and never had a claim filed.
Daisy and Credit Card both get $40 a total of $80
Murphy, I and the pick up keep. He and I are loosing our soul on your shoes. If you flip my shoes up side down. You can see my socks. Oil for pick up $75
water and gas. Got the water bill let just say $45 and my natural gas will be under $20.
Should have about $180 and just in case. "Oh shit I forgot"

When I had Daisy in at the vet. I felt like they want to sell me something. The flea treatment cost me $100. Not saying dental isn't important.
But my friend LaWalla took her cat to this vet clinic and the quote her a certain price and if it was going to be higher. They would called her and see if she want to continue on. No call and she end up with the maximum bill of $1,200.
I'm going to try her teeth with plan water.  I've been hearing the vet clinic I took her to charges more then most places.

Don't like eating in front of my clients. So when I went and did some shopping for them. I ate my roast beef sandwich. Made from last night LONDON BROIL and the rest of my lunch I ended up eating it at home. hard boil egg, 2 figs, and cottage cheese with diced tomatoes.
Breakfast was bowl of Khorasan. It wasn't bad. It one of those food I wouldn't make special trip to get it. But if it was around I might buy it.
Dinner. I worked all day or pretty much. Hubby did a pizza. That he got out of the freezer wasn't to keen on it. He did make nice green salad. Put mango and habanero dressing.
Mange to take a walk to end of the road.

It sort of makes me depress and angry when I look at pile of yard sale stuff. Wondering if I'll have the time to have a yard sale.
After the end of September not much for yard sale do to the weather.
I just don't want to store yard sale year after year. We might be low income. But I have pride in my place although it not Martha Stweart living. But I'm sure not WHITE TRASH. Don't toss my cans in drive way so they can be ran over, before they head to recyling center.
Sure my yard sale is nicely sort and in basement not out weather. But having pile of items sitting around bothers me.

What Was It

I had three items I want to order from Amazon. I can only recall two of the items. A sewing machine and washi tape.
It sure wouldn't hurt anything if I didn't come up with the third item.

I know three things I believe I can handle as I'm working I can handle. When it comes to weight lost.
Walking and great for stress, portion control, and no eating after seven.
My clients had other things on Wednesday and I did much better at home.
Breakfast....Potatoes, eggs, sausage patty.
Lunch...Left over Pizza.
Dinner....London broil, bake potato with cottage cheese, and beets out of the garden.

 

  My friend LaWalla stop over from her business in Sandpoint. She had me do some looking up on the net one thing was AERO GARDEN. It fairly expensive to buy, but looks fairly easy to built.

Murphy and I went to Sandpoint and got 6 cement pier from Home Depot. Took back the three we had. So now there all the same.
And went over to Yokes and got figs, meat, barley flakes, and found a new grain to try. KHORASAN cereal.

Now I recall what the third item was, template for ENVELOPE making. After looking at it I believe I can come up with something. Look like you would have to buy something for each side of envelope.

Now I Need a New Game Plan

There this blog called LOST ART REVIVED which talks about letter writing. Question time...How many remember pen pals? 
Miss P has some wonderful ideal on stationary and envelopes.
Lot or I should most of my writing supplies comes out of the thrift stores. The envelope above I made from some wall paper I got at a local thrift store. Quite a bit on roll and didn't pay a dollar for it.
I thought of sending her the ideal of writing on photos. I don't do this very often mainly because of cost.
But after a while I've taken backs of photos and use it as writing paper. Mostly if they seem interested in area I live in.
So I took three photos. One of town south of me NAPLES which is photo of the general store. But the town north of me is BONNERS FERRY and last one is cows out summer pasture across the road form me.

Although it not in this photo there anther store on our main street just closed in Bonners Ferry BOARDWALK BOUTIQUE. Not sure if the one in Courd'Alene is closing. It been around for a lease 35 years.
But it hard to compete with big box store. Statement time...some what expensive for most our local population.
I bought a few items. A dress size 10 and freshly out of high school.

I had comment if I know how to eat correctly or not. The sad truth is "yes". In our T.O.P.S group we where doing a contest which help built healthy eating habits. It became to much because of my increase work hours. So I drop out. And now trying to figure out a simpler weight lost regiment for my self.
Home care is stressful. Confession time...Not handling stress well I add more to it then need be.
Hopeful in next few days I can figure out regiment for weight lost and handle my job.
Good News is I lost a 1/2 pound.

Naples isn't big at all. The main hub is the general store. To me it remind me of SAM DRUCKER and the general store. There a few other business NORTH WOODS and a inn.

Liz been fighting with depression. And didn't want to go out. So Regis ask if I would take him to one of the thrift stores in Bonners Ferry. He got some toys and bugs. I looked at fabric say nothing except one pieces. I need some lighter colors for my up coming locker hooking projects. First I thought it said fifty nine cent. But it was a $1.59 more then I was willing to pay for it.
So I got a few patterns.

  The cattle been out in there summer pasture across the road form our home. Not sure how many is out there this summer.
Every year there a bull. I ask owner in past if they name any there cows. Well they don't some will head to slaughter this fall. So they don't want to become attach.
Personal I think the bull looks like "Amadeus" Question time...what would you name the bull in the photo?

Still looking though Philadelphia 1850 census for my 2nd great grand parents John and Hannah (Ross) Shirley.
I'm starting to understand the term loose your self in the city. I believe I only ran into two other Shirley so far. And no Ross.
But I did find out who my husband fourth great grand dad "Balazarus" Vandenberg. I'm trying to figure out what "Balazarus" means.
One of my third Great Grand father name was "Mathias" and in United States record he is listed as Mathew or some form of it

Don't Understand

Both Hubby and I are DOCTOR WHO fan. So I got 3 dvd from library in Sandpoint. I never seen anything like this before. Ok once while you will get dvd that doesn't work. But all three of them.
First I thought maybe our player didn't like Warner Brothers dvd. But I put in anther dvd by Warner Brothers, not Dr Who it played fine.
So I took tapes over to Regis and it played fine on his player.
Still shaking my head on what going on.

It been a while since I took a walk. So Daisy and I walk before I went to work. Actual work went smoothly.
But I'll be glad when the medicaid nurse is done interviewing Regis.

I wish there wasn't so many cookies around where I work. Weigh in tomorrow, and I honestly don't want to face the scales.
Breakfast pancake and sausage.
Lunch egg salad sandwich, and I like a little onion in it. Also add a little bit of clintro. Peanuts in candy yogurt. Plus celery sticks.
Dinner. Pork chops, onion and zuchani, and also mac n cheese.

A Little On Edge.

Tomorrow I'll be starting my 31 hour work week. I pretty much figure out how I will do it. I have to say I sure will be glad when the re-certification for Regis will be done. The medicaid nurse will be there on Tuesday.
It usual best not to say anything. Open mouth and remove all doubt. But he has one item to put to his mobility devices "false teeth"
At first I didn't quite get mobility devices at first I though as a mobility devices would crutches, cans, lifts, and wheel chairs device.
But his teeth helps him eat and pronounce words much better.
Then also he been going to speech therapy for his COGNITIVE THERAPY. This might squeeze and extra 15 minutes out of state.
But I believe it will stay the same.

Confession time...I'm a little nervous when it comes to my increase hours, that I will handle what every by eating.
So far today I've done fine.

Yesterday Murphy and I went ART ON THE GREEN. It sure has grown. They add the STREET FAIR  and TASTE OF COURD ALENE.
One thing I got to see is My Grand Daughter Claudia.

Had may son Bart take a few photos of Murphy and I with our Grand daughter. Every-time or all most every time I see my self in a photo.
I'm embarrasses how heavy I let my self get.

Molly mom dance student went and danced  at art on the green. In joyed there performance.  Sorry the video clip isn't all that good.

Murphy and I kicked down the steps off our slider. Planning to but in a deck. On the way back we got three concert piers at home depot. Cost us under $11. Got three when we tore down the shed on bench.
But hardly anything goes at my speed or exception. And I don't have super exception.

Still trying to fine my 2nd Great Grandfather "John Shirley" and his wife Hannah (Ross) Shirley. in the 1850 census of Philadelphia.
They got married 2nd March 1849 in Philadelphia. St John Episcopal church. There a good chance when they first got married they lived with a family member. Which I'm hoping. Right now I ran into a dead end on him.
Her I have her parents. Both of her parents John and Ann (Gault) Ross died before she was 16. Also her only sister Elizabeth pass before she was married.


Since the weather cool off a bit. Got a little more playing fetch with Daisy. And clear up some clutter.

Morning

It been a while since I've did post before noon. I decided to make my work week shorter. I usual put in 19 hours a week. Gave 3.50 hours to LaWalla. So this week I actual I only put in 16 hours.
Not sure how I'm looking forward to up coming 31 hours a weeks. Which will be on going sometime.
  Statement time...Home care after a while wears on you. Doesn't matter how good your clients are.
So Murphy and I are going up to Myrtle creek. Don't think I'll be taking the camera down to creek.

Don't you hate it...Question time...when you can't find one of your back post that you want to make link? 
I'm looking for the post about Liz going to Utah and taking care of and old fine. Sounds a little odd to me that she can't take care of it here.
It was for not having liability insurance on her rig. That what is says. She always been honest with me.
Like Idaho, but Utah isn't friendly either to poor and or people with disability.
Not saying anyone should not be responsible for there choices in life.
But to me it seem strange that she could mail or wire money to pay the fine.

Actual this worries me. She only planning to be gone for about a little more then week. She has 2 children in area and grandchildren in that neck of woods.
But I have hunch she will be down there, more then that.

If you miss your services more than 30 days. So if either one of my clients receives no in home care in 30 day period. They loose there in-home benefits, and they start over again.
This Tuesday will be Regis Medicaid review with the nurse. Don't expect much change. He had 16 hours a week for who know how long.

Before it get to hot. I toss the ball for Daisy and mail some happy mail off to New Zealand. I actual have quite a few pen pals though out the world.
Every so often I make my own envelopes usual from old calendars and wall papers. Which I get the thrift stores.

Murphy plant a roll of spinach out in garden. Cook breakfast which was BLT sandwiches. Did up the dishes. Oh yes and mail off my progress notes for my clients. Which is also my pay slips.

At this point I have to say the morning been Great.

Is It Always Going To Be Stuggle

The weather been much cooler and Daisy must loved. Her and I played fetch in the morning, afternoon, and after dinner.
When it super hot I won't toss the ball for her. I know she dis-pointed and looks pit-full at her ball. Not sure if dogs can have heat stroke or not.
Not sure when I will be able to get her TEETH Cleaned.
Well today I got out her bone. The South Hill butcher has a big barrel of bones that they give away. A lot of people stop in and get them for there furry pals.
But when the yellow jacket are out I usual put it in a plastic bag, and put in our fridge.

I don't know why loosing weight is such a struggle. And I make the choices I do when it come to food.
Not long ago I put a glop of peanut butter and mixed with powder sugar. Then ate it!
As far as I can figure out why I eat other them breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
I'm bored or stress.
This is one of the reason I don't want to go to work 31 hours a week. My client Liz and Regis isn't all that hard.
Confession time....I'm afraid after my shift is over and when I come home. I'll start eating uncontrollably. 
So I need to have plan.

Our home project is to re-stack some of the lumber back in yard/shed. With my up coming hours the deck became smaller. We're looking of doing a 9.5 X 9.5 (2.89) X (2.89).
I still want to do a yard sale before the snow flies, and I wonder if it will happen.

I had the wise ideal to mop my floors today, forgot the swifter wet jet mop was broken. Don't ask why I never took out with trash. We had for quite a few years and I got cleaning a house out.
It been a while one the thrift stores here had a STEAM MOP and it was still in the package it came in, don't recall the price.

But I real can't buy it. Don't know why but our electrical bill is usual here on the 1st to 3rd of each month.
So far the only bill we got for this month is our water $43.88 and the base cost is $41.00.
See here in the United States a bank can hold a check up to 5 days before depositing it in to our account. But they hold it longer then 5 days with out good reason, and there reason listed.
The main reason there holding it so they can make money from it.
Usual it deposit before the five days. But any type of payment from Social Security goes in and no holding it.
Hubby check comes on the 4th Wednesday and it deposit at 12.01 AM, every month like clock work.

Talk to Bart this evening, but I was going to call him after I ate dinner. It been a while since I talk to him.
Well we're thinking of going to Spokane and visiting them.
To find out there going to be at ART ON THE GREEN  in Courd'Alene. I been to it a few times long time ago when it first started.
Everything was out of our price range. But it still nice to look at all the arts and craft there. Any how to find out that Bart Mother in law is putting on a dance performance.
So we will probable meet them there. It been a while since I seen my Grand daughter Claudia.

Saying Good Bye to Yoruban

Once again I sort of kept track of weather in July which was mostly “hot” and visited the “Blue Mix” to figure out what kind of PERSONALITY  I might have. So far I seem to be a general a good person.

 Looks like I might be going up to my hours more quickly then what I want to. Something came up because of LaWalla inheritance. Which she ended up all most quieting.

I might as well tell you want going on. LaWalla is very CHEMICAL SENSITIVITY and the United States real does or doesn't recognized this illness or continuation.

So she was getting some help state of Montana. Like Rent subsidize her rent is $50 some dollars a month, and I believe her food stamps/snap was not quite $200 a month.

The only income she claim was her disability of a little over $950 a month. To this point everything is on the up and up.

But she never claim the money she earn doing in-home care. Which would be almost impossible to trace, because they use K-1.....1065 Her taxes would be different then ours because she over 65 years old.

There anther person who works and her filing is different because of her age.

See I pay my own social security in of 15.3% and what I heard and I'm not sure if I'm correct or not. After a certain point that a self employed person over 65 pays 7.75%. Plus your other taxes.

And she never filed. Not even sure if she real need to. I'm guessing so far this year she made just under $4,000. See at this point I took in $8,000 but that not clear.

But then there the inheritance which the IRS been notify that of her mother estate. Which was worth under $100,000 divide by three ways.

I know she had some credit card debt that she was going to pay off, and took the rest of the money and put it in the bank in Canada. 

This could possible mess up her rent subsidize apartment,food stamps, and QMB But the rest of programs usual and depends on program. One can't have resources over $2,000. Your first vehicle doesn't account. Like I said depends on the program and some program the state will put a lean on your home.

I know a few peoples who end up just getting a bit over limit and they lost all of there subsidize programs and end up on the street.

OPINION TIME...They need to raise the resource limit to today cost of living for those who need assistance.

Yesterday Evening I went over Liz to take her a six pack of beer and pack of camels. I talk to a few people head of time and found out she was going though a rough period.

Her brother Cyrus is dying of cancer. See her brother(s) sexual abuse her. I'm not sure which one(s) did.

I'm concern about her son Cyrus and also her.

Found out she scared and embarrass by him. There something real off about him. He swears he can here people think. And when people have conversation there actual talking in code.

OPINION TIME.... He is paranoid schizophrenia.

And in his own mind he just fine. But he medicate him self by alcohol, drinks until he blacks out and is a danger to him self and others. Don't worry around him I watch my back.

Since he hasn't hurt anyone yet. Nothing real can be done.

Sad how Idaho handle there mental ill.
