Ten Times Three Then Add One More

So far I like broadband. When we had dial up one would wait and wait to go any place on the net.

Carrie a client I take care of broke her left foot some how.  I know I won't get straight answer how she did break her foot. This is what Carrie been claiming what happen "I just gave old Hershel a good ole kick and see what happen" But her hubby tells me "she got out of hand and had to take matter into my own hand".  Monday evening or Tuesday morning some nurse will be coming to there home and should be giving them more hours. Not sure how long the additional hours will be one week or up to six weeks. Her regular re cert is in December. One thing I hope they don't tell the nurse what I list above. I notice government employees or sponsor ones who tends be by the book usual have no sense of humor.

October is a big month for pagans and once again there a party over at this blog all sort of "oh My fun" recopies, give aways, and lot more.



This morning I went and weigh in at my weekly T.O.P.S meeting. This time I weigh in at a maintain. But I and anther lady spilt the basket. The one who loose the most weight in a 30 day period ends up receiving a fruit/veggie basket. Those who forget to bring in some fruit or veggies usual throw in some cash. Statement time...I would like to drop a few more pounds though the month of October and for the holidays just hold my own.

One More Day

October is a busy month for blog world. Actual I miss being part of the blog world. I believe I found a way to get some photo up on my blog. Confession time....I'm not thrilled having to put my pictures up on my desk top (screen) to get my picture post. I just need to figure out how to post photo not sending it to desk top (screen)

Last year 2013 I took part in samhain sirens and going to this year.

Since we finish what we need to on place do to the painting project.  Sat in open molds on my pour table is 7 ornaments.  After I get these ornaments out and more clay(slip) mix up. Pour up 8 more ornaments.

Soon I won't be able to cast ceramics because my shop/garage will be to cold. My guess I will be able to cast ceramic one or two bucket.

I know the last post I did on my bottom of kiln and one can see  I have some painted pieces. These pieces was picked up at place like thrift store. The paint will be fired off and I'll repaint the items.

Every place I turn I only find only a few people who isn't in favor of affordable Care Act   I know some state extend out there medicaid program, Idaho was one of them.  I know most people in North Idaho isn't in favor of what some people call Obama Care. Confession-Statement time....I favor a one payer system for all something like combine our medicaid or medicare program....Question time...I wonder how many people are actually going over to healthcare
 to look in to it.  Both Murphy and I will look into affordable care this point I under stand to qualify for medicaid in Idaho one needs to be on disability program or your income under about $400 a month. You can own one vehicle doesn't matter the value. But here is kicker one can't own a home or anything value over $2,500. When medicaid was set up during President Johnson war on poverty in 60's. This was  a descent amount of income. We have a clinic here that works on sliding scale. For us to have anything done in clinic cost us $35 dollars and my blood work was $130 dollars. Places is connect to Kaniksu works there billing also on a sliding scale.  I heard this my be anther part of the affordable care act to have some medicaid program on sliding scale.

We won't be going to health care dot government on first but before the end of the month we will have visit and look into the affordable care act.

Counted My Chicks Before They All Hatch

I don't know how well or even sense this post will make. I thought last Thursday I would have broad band put in. The company who is doing ran into some issue with there equipment on Black Mountain. Which was a good thing so we could finish up the painting on the East side of place.
Now my appointment is for Monday Afternoon the 30th.
Still looks like I can take part in UltimateBlogChallenge for the month of October. But they also have a web page

I've been doing a ceramic here and there. Got the bottom of my small kiln filled. Now working on getting the next shelf filled up. One side I'm putting in larger pieces and the other half I'm placing in smaller items along with more ornaments. One thing there is group of ornaments I can't fine. I know there misplace or lost.

I thought I was going to take part in both photo hunt over the weekend. Some how I end up getting things mixed up. Gattina is one of the photo hunt challenge I take part in. Her challenge for next Weekend is "Humor in photography"
Also I take part in Sandi photo hunt challenge and her choose of them is "Spark".

During the month of October there is a pagan party over at Samhain Sirens and if it's good as last year wow.

Yesterday Murphy and I went down to Spokane saw quite a few people. Even both of my sons Sawyer and Bart.

I just don't get this I thought I had all of my resent picture on this computer but somehow they all went bye or I just not sure how to pull them up.

Nothing More Better Get In the Way

Tuesday I made an appointment to get broad band but in. The receiver will be going on the East of our place facing toward Black Mountain. That's were they have what they need to have so some of us can get high connection speed. It going cost us $60 a month for 3 mbps. The other opposition I can get for high speed internet is satellite which is usual over $100 a month. I know people who uses there cell phone for internet connection and it seem like there bills hit with a $100 or more a month. But other then dial up this is a much cheaper way to go.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                        Thursday Morning they will be here to hook up broadband. Statement time...I sure hope we're happy with broadband....Opinion time...actual there no reason why people in a less population don't have wi-fi. Actual it would be real simple for everyone in world to have wi-fi in the world. Is to send up receivers in the jet stream and wind currents and as the receiver floats around the entire world could have wi-fi even those who live in a rural sitting.  Still it wouldn't be free ride; one will purchases the same item as anyone else on wi-fi and regular monthly charges.  Someone would sure make a profit out of this. The cheapest wi-fi I see around here is $20 for 3 mbps. I guess the out back of Australia does something like this.
I know I haven't posted August weather. Not sure what is wrong with my thermometer but it not reading my cooler temperature right. Like there days it will read in the 20's and I know it not even close to being in the 20's. If I would guess it might of got in upper 40's for the low.

Will We Stumple and Fall Like We Did On Our Last Two Wars

Any wars or conflict we been in since WWII has been a total waste!  But I as anyone else can have there thoughts on last two conflicts plus the one we might enter in, Syria.                                                                                                                                                                                        Let me be brief about Iraq.... Statement time...we went there on total under false pretense...a bold face lie.                                                                                                                                                                   Let me talk briefly about Afghanistan in a chit chat terms. One can't go in and change a group of people or individual. These people in Afghanistan lives in a tribal life style and been living this way for generations.                                                                                                                                                                                      Opinion time...The odds are really against you if you believe you can change a person or an area.  The only thing a person can change is him or her self. Usual this is done by small steps. No one can do 180 degree turn about. If one decides to do a personal spin about it's done in such small internments. Opinion time...We can't change the people or the way Afghanistan people live or thoughts.  We may made a very tiny different in these people life but it was to costly in lost of lives.   The two wars was ran on the credit card.                                                                                                    At this point the conflict in Syria is looking the same as any other up rising in the middle east.  Question time...What kind of changes will come to Syria if you United States enter in anther conflict there. Not a darn thing it will end up as the same last two conflicts we been in the last two conflicts. Look at the results.                                                                                                                                                            Question time...If we decided to enter in a war in Syria how will it be fought....The last two war was fought by young men and or woman usual of lower means. Actual only small percentage of the population actual took part in last two wars. So if it comes right down to it there was hardly in skin off large percentage of the population. Statement time...I'm sorry for those who have to endure the pain, suffer , and lost of love ones. If we enter in Syria, entire citizen of a country must take part ; doesn't matter of the size he or she takes part. I don't mean just stand and cheer when our people of arm forces are present.  WWII was a war that was actual fought with more then arm troops. An entire county was involved. At that time people use ration stamps on many items; people grew victory gardens. and we also at that time sold war bonds and had much higher tax rates.

 I do have empathy for the children and people of Syria. But I question are involvement will actual do any good or make things worst over there.

Weight Lost Slowly At Consuming 2000 Calories

When will I get hook back up to the net once again. The other day I talk to my son Bart and remind him that he still owe us for his rig insurance, $125 that's for six months.                                                     Murphy told me to get hold of Meadow Creek computer for internet hook up. This might seem a bit prideful but I want totally contribute to this. I figure that Murphette would get between two and six hours weekly. So that mean I would make twenty four and seventy one dollars weekly. But I don't except the medicaid nurse to do her view sometime after mid-month. So by then I should have Bart's money he gets his next check on the 13th. Then on the 17th at work we will be getting our bonus check. I know this isn't the term should be using. But in the past Medicaid has been slow paying the home care agency, takes up to 3 to 6 months for the home care agency to receive there reimbursement check. Once we had to wait anther year to receive our bonus. Anyhow my bonus isn't going to be no grand amount. I figure under hundred dollars.  But with Bart money and bonus we will be able to pay the $99 insulation fee for the net and some cash left over.

Round the ole homestead has the ups and downs. I guess the worst trouble is a yellow jacket. They seem to settle around in large groves. Confession time...I have no mercy on the little critters at all.                                                                                                                                                                                                     Garden is doing great. Been giving  quite a few vegetables away.                                                           The painting project was being on held by the heat. Which now has came down to reasonable temperature of eighty or so. The big issue are those nasty yellow jacket. We're looking at this Thursday starting back painting the trim around the place.
Ceramic pour table I got the clay (slip) clean out around the tower pump and the beater which mixes the clay in the tank. The dried up clay I took away is in a bucket which needs water. Let it set for a few days and clay will soften up. After that I will take a paint stir thing that is hook to a drill. After the clay is mix with the drill then I need to filter it though. Recently I started to filter it though and old thin towels. Which been working fairly well that I've cast a few items that can be use for food items. Being so late in year heading to colder weather I'm not getting my pour table ready until next spring. The reason is that the shop/garage doesn't have any insulation or heat in it.                                                                                                                                                                                                                    I've start to cast some ornaments and I know I won't get the same result as I did last year.                                                    
Still painting on the bisque pieces, fried greenware.
Now what else is going on.                                                                                                                                                                       Embroidery a pair of pillow cases. I believe I'll give them to Sawyer and Betty for Christmas. Confession time...At the rate I'm going there a good chance they won't be done by Christmas. This simple means I need to pick up the pace.

Big news or the thrilling life new is. I been dropping a few pounds at nice regular pace. I heard that us as human needs 10 to 15 calories for each pounds we weigh to maintain our current weight. So I need 2012 calories to maintain my current weight. I won't let my self consume over 2000 calories and at this amount calories I don't feel hungry. Confession time...I don't even actual consume all the calories.  3 days a week I been walking also.  I need to mention if I eat all of my calories or if it after 7pm. If I do I then eat just plain popcorn. Nothing on it, no butter.   So once I hit the 200 pound mark I'll reduce my calorie intake to 1,800 calorie. I like to be under 200 pounds by first part of November and hold there during the holidays. Then after the first of the year restart loosing. My final goal is to be able to wear a 12-14 size. Not sure what my final weight will be.                                                                                                                                                                                              One thing I found strangely amazing is what people weigh. At our T.O.P.S (taking off pounds sensibly) I help weigh people. The only thing I can say it hard to guess ones weight or age.

Let It Rip Not to Rest In Peace

One of those days not even sure what to post about. Still having connection trouble. But really wasn't going to do anything about it until September.
Technology sure take up time. Mostly when one has dial up.

Today there was a mobile food truck came up to Bonners Ferry. Actual not that many came. Not sure why such a low turn out.
It has nothing to do with income.
Confession time....Not sure the reason I'm standing in line is that I'm frugal or greedy.  At this time Murphy and I monthly income is $1,070 a month.
Yes, I know many of you don't think this is much of income. But like I said our utilities runs right around $200 a month.
There people who stood in line for food give away. Some of them I know get up and go to work.  Opinion time...I fine this total bull shit that a person goes to work and can't make a living wage that there standing in a food line....
Actual minimum wage should be $10.74 I make more then this but I don't get the hours. Some one make the federal minimum wage of $7.25 can get food stamps.....Statement time...How discussing.

I've got back casting my ceramics. Let see what have I've poured some thimble, Christmas-ornaments, and a statue of Jesus.
But then there some items sitting in the molds...more ornaments, clown napkin ring holder and plain ones. Not going to predict what will or won't come out.
I believe I came up a better way to improve the slip I've been pouring with.

Pants On Fire

I've prided my self in being on honest person. There been times in the past I've posted on my blog about being "truthful"
When I youngster I never lied or snick out of my parents home. I knew people who told there parents a fib like "We're going over to Dicks Drive in"..oh hell they were heading to some party that had drugs and booze at it.
This reminds me of a true story....
When I was young I had a curfew to be home. 16 years old it was midnight on weekends and week night it was 10:00. But before I went out I did up the dinner dishes.
I couldn't recall the place I want or thought I need to go to...I recall informing my parents that I would be home around three in morning. I knew I told them the place I was going to be.
They told me if I wasn't in by my weekend curfew that I would be grounded for "two weeks". I looked them in the eye and said..." I'll take my grounding and walk right out the door"
So I was grounded for the two weeks.
Years later my mother confess to me...I knew I could count on you being honest and never once have you ever deceived us. Even at times I didn't want hear the truth.

I would say 3 or 4 times a year my hubby and I have a marriage go around. Confession time..they can get right down ugly.
He would ask me something and if my reply was "I don't know" he would get all pissed off. Then I would say "What the fucking hell do you want me to lie to you" 
If you don't or can't handle the truth don't you fucking ask....because "I'm going to tell you the truth"

He also confess lot of the time he didn't need or want to hear the truth. So he just keep his mouth shut.

If I said I never told a lie well that wouldn't be truthful. I would say in all life I only hung from the telephone wire less the one percent of the time.

Passing The Time

I just finish up at work. Today I clean out the base cabinet around her sink. At home when I clean out any cabinets I wash the content. But they didn't want me to wash it. Anyhow there only allowed a little over 10 hours a week.
Right now I'm over at my friend Alice place. She doesn't feel well and so she resting back in her bedroom.

At two this afternoon I need to head over to the fair ground and help set up /Boundary-County-Task-Force-On-Human-Rights . They want me to do something on facebook for them but I need to fine out some information.
I'm getting some photo ready to put in to our local fair. I'll take them in before I head into work for Faith.

The yellow jacket a heavy this year and they hover low to the ground. Been told that is a sign of cold winter coming up.
One of the cat caught some type of mouse well it not a mouse but related to it. In no time at all the yellow jacket was on it like "stink on shit" then Murphy went out in dose it good with commerical bug spray.
We made a yellow jacket trap....Supply need dish pan or kitty litter box, string, piece of meat, dish soap, some type of weight we're using a set of wrenches.
Fill pan with soapy water to all most to the top. Tie the meat until the string and make sure it just barely hangs above the water. Place it in the middle of the soapy dish water.
As the yellow jacket eat the meat they fall in and drown or the soapy water and shit them self to death.
I should tell you the wrench or weight or place at the end of the string.to keep the string tight.

Yesterday I took my friend Qunella down to Sandpoint to see the foot doctor. They remove a growth but wasn't to concern about it and want to still run a bi ops on it.

Still would like to get a few more hours of work. So I can put in broadband but that isn't going to happen until September.
If your wondering why I haven't put up in picture. I still need to take in the desk top to see what the trouble with it is.
What I would like to do is use desk top for important things and the lap top for ceramics.
But I won't know until I see what the trouble with the desk top is. We didn't pay that much for it less then 150 bucks. It's an e-machine.
Statement time...I been real happy with the e-machine.
Actual I'm getting a few things deep clean the other day I wash the north wall. Took down the pictures and wipe them down.
 Still need to clean and wash the couch.

Garden is going like crazy harvesting almost daily.

I did get the wall girl plague done. Just finish up a little chicken something someone would set on shelf. Also the chicken could be made into a salt and pepper shaker.
For the little witch I been painting I need to paint her hat band and shoes. I'll do those in bronze. Still need to put in her face and back wash her so she will have some depth.
Still hope I can be part of samhainsirens for this up coming October.

Weather Report July 2013 and Other Stuff

The warmest day in July was on the 24th at 103.1 (39.5)
The coldest day in July was on the 25th at 32.0 (0)
Average high for July was 84.7 (29.2)
Average low for July was 44.7 (7.0)
Well for the rainfall for the month it was less then a skiff.

Usual I post some new blogs that I adventure over to.
I start a list of 10 trivia facts of what happen in July. It's on my desk top and it's still having issue. Around the 9th of September I'll take it in.
Hopeful then Murphette has one of my first cousin once remove and one of her daughter stay in the home. My cousin works part time jobs and odd job.
Murphette daughter came up to Texas.  At this time she job hunting.
Once she find a job. Murphette then can reply for home care. At this moment the medicaid nurse would take away time. It depends which medicaid nurse does the assessment, all in luck of the draw.
But if she had the interview I would guess she would get less then 3 hours a week. But once her daughter get a job. I would guess her hours would be 3 up to 7 hours
Then I would feel comfortable doing broadband. I talk to 3 people who uses Meadow creek and there happy with it. They all live in my neck of the woods.

Lacking One Computer Does Have It's Advantage

During the month of July I found this site ultimate blog challenge and four times a year one blogs every day. Well July was one of those months. But with the computer issue it just didn't work out. One thing I did enjoy getting the chance to visit other bloggers.
I guess the next one will be in October and last year I took part in Samhain Sirens or take stop at there facebook page
By then I should have my computer issue taken care of.

The garden is starting to be harvest. Actual as I'm at super one computing hubby got the dehydrator going and making fruit leather using raspberries.
Yesterday he and I canned up 12 pints of pickle beets.
Plus chicken isn't a bad buy over at Safeway...ninety nine cents a pound so we can make chicken noodle or dumpling soup.
I actual like dumpling a little better then noodles.
Then we're starting to dig potatoes.


Last Thursday my friend Qunella and I meet at under the sun and had a dish of ice cream. I had chocolate fudge and coconut. But before that I went into.huckleberry variety to get less then five bucks worth of items. But before all this we got some hollyhock seeds, two shades of reds I'll be putting mine out in "Good Will" flower bed.

I haven't found many pagan in my community that celebrates there holidays. So having a treat with Qunella was the way I celebrated lammas
There are a few of us.
There was a tent meeting put on those evil gentility. Murphy asked if we're going and my reply was "We're going ?..."We're not going"..."I'm not going"..."Your welcome to go"
I was to the sponsoring church one time and it sure wasn't my cup of tea.

Since the computer at my home is down and if I want to comput. I have to drag my lap top into town. There is advantage and disadvantage not having my desk top up and running.
The main thing is I'm getting things done.
I've clean out my china hutch. Which I would like to get a different one and turn the present day one into a shelves, put in it in the smaller bed room

I pretty much have my doll plaque done. As I was working on this project I worked on five beads and have one to go.
I got a small witch out which I would like to give a way with Samhain Siren this October. Then also I got a small hen to paint.
 Also start to embroidery a set of pillow cases.

More I think about I'm going to try to get Broadband but still need to contact meadow creek.
But before all that I actual the desk top needs to go in the shop.
