Weekend Photo Hunt (Quite-Sign)

I actual like the sound of quietness. When Murphy is gone I just like it quite. In the morning I like to just set on the step and have a cup of coffee. But at times I'll just set there and read.
I don't know why Murphy has to have sound round him. He either has the radio or the television going.
His mother Delores real hasn't much into television and she didn't want her kids watching Television growing up. But after Murphy left home he didn't think television was bad so I guess he making up for lost time.

Not very often one will see protest sign here in Boundary County. Actual I was going over by the hospital usual by hospitals they have a sign saying “Quite hospital zone” but I don't every remember seeing one.
I have to give this lady credit for standing out there with her sign. I'm assume in her heart she has worthy cause. For those who don't know what C.P.S stand for “Child Protection Service”
In all due respect I find lot of people including all sort of agency and which includes religion, only uses one side of issue to make a form decision.
Editor Note...I tried to find the web site to her sign but couldn't...so if one google such a search for...your state and CPS sucks...or your state and CPS out of bounds.

Next weekend photohunt theme will be sports and or stuck

Sunday the 26th the day before Quenella birthday Murphy, Murphette and I went up to her place to have some ice coffee and nibble to eat, grapes and chocolates.
Plus Murphette is heading to Bakersfield the day after Labor day. This would be the last time Quenella will have a chance to see her.
She told Murphette the same thing I did “Trust your gut feeling and if things don't sat right come on back to Bonners Ferry”
Plus I added “If things get out of wrack later on go to the Salvation Army and they will give you a bus ticket to some place safe”
Now Quenella turn 65 and she can get medicare

In the picture Qunella has the white top on, Murphette has the greenish dress on and I have the grey top.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Chocolate-Shopping)

When the theme came up “Chocolate” my mouth started to water. Like most people I know enjoy chocolate. The big choice is what to with chocolate.
I decide to make some instant chocolate pudding. Instead of using a mixer or whisk. I put in a container with tight fitting lid and shake it.

This is one of place I like to walk. Statement time...we don't have any major shopping center or mall around here. In some area there walking groups that will use mall to take a walks in.
But with no shopping center one doesn't spend money.

Next weekend hunt will be quite  and or sign

Domestic Engineer: Oh the Life I Need or Want

This week seem to be a busy. Actual a whirlwind. Confession time...I have complete a whole bunch. Since I seem to never get back cleaning out the shed.
But I did get our silverware drawer cleaned out. Went though the next drawer below and took a few items to the thrift store.

I pretty much finish up a ceramic scarecrow. So next month I'll be having a drawing. So I won't say anymore about it.
Plus I been painting on few ornaments. All in all I haven't done much with the ceramic line.

I've been trying to get Ellie straighten out with medicaid. There no Health and Welfare office here in Boundary County. Some how they got her income down wrong. Plus trying to find a human to talk to about how to solve her trouble been some what like riding on merry go around that one can't get off.
Simple I just need a fax number where to send the bank statement to. How hard could that be. The closes Health and Welfare office is in Bonner County which is 20 miles about from me.

Usual I put my dilly beans in wide mouth pints. But the beans were so long and I thought they would look good in quarts.
I've seen them done in quarts all standing up nicely, not mine.
Maybe some day I'll get the dilly beans to look good in quarts. But next time I do dilly beans and if there to long. The beans are getting whacked in half.
I was going to price out the dilly beans at the store. I know there not cheap but I wonder if it would be cheaper to buy them.
A gallon of apple cider vinegar not quite $6.00 a gallon. I used a ½ gallon and came out with 7 quarts .

Weekend Photo Hunt (Can_Monuments)

To do any canning one needs to be up super early. Murphy and I picked green beans and had 9 pints can around 8 in the morning on the 12th , before the heat comes in.

This is our local monument to our veteran who serviced in different wars. It also represent each of our branch of the arm service.

Next weekend photo-hunt will be chocolate and or shopping

Confession time...As I posted the picture of our local airport I never notice the flowers planted. Someone took time to make the place more welcoming. I bet I wouldn't notice it unless I was taking part in photo-hunt

I thought I had it all locked up and sealed that I would be Ellie care giver. Well a short time the medicaid nurse came out and interview and she would had got 13 hours a week of care. Which actual is fair amount of time compare to most.
Here is the kicker. She would have to pay a co-pay of to the best of there figures is $200 a month. I know her income is just over $1,200 a month.

In the past let say medicaid figure would need 10 hours a week of help in your home. But would only give you 5 free hours and if you want the full ten hours you would have to pay a co payment.
I never heard of anyone taking the most hours and paying the co payment. They just take the fewer hours they could get.
Now those who they want to pay a co-payment won't or can't, so they receive no service.
But they're people who was low enough income doesn't have to pay co-payment. But I'm not sure what it is.
The last two people I had their income was in the $700 range.

I start to get back into my walking again. Confession time...Actual restarting walking again wasn't all that bad. I guess I didn't loose much.
I do most of the walking in the morning but there times I do it in the evening.
A few time I do both.

Monday morning Sawyer called and said “Betty and I was going camping up the end of pack river” Invited us up.
So we made arrangement we met them at Samuel Store and followed them up.

Well of course Boo had to come. Since we have no Grand children I need to start spoiling my sons pets.
So basic we stayed in the shade by the river and admire the rocks and water that tumbled over the rocks.

Both Murphy and I had to do things next day (Tuesday) But they planned to going for a hike into Harrison lake.
Sawyer brother Bart was headed up in the morning he had to work all day (Monday)
But as we were leaving Sawyer Battery went Dead on his jeep and either one of us had jumper cables.
Actual there quite bit of people up in that area the odd of someone showing up and giving them a jump was pretty high.
Plus there was an gentlemen with pick-up and camper parked across they way.
But I got hold of Bart and told him to throw in a some jumper cables.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Airplane/Train-Numb)

Actual transportion isn't big thing here. What I'm talking about is public transportation. There no train station in Bonners Ferry any one who wants to get on a train has to in to Sandpoint. Then the train comes though at unfriendly hours like around midnight and 2:30 AM. If that isn't bad enough it doesn't come in everyday.
To fly any where usual one would have to Spokane. But we do have an airport for some rich person to have an toy airplane (real one)
This is our airport it north of Bonners Ferry. Once in while someone in leer jet will land but usual it prop plane that use our airport.

I would of been a numb skull, if I forgot my camera. Last Sunday the 5th of August Murphy and I hiked up to the top of Clifty peak.
Your looking up North though the Kootenai Valley. Toward Canada.
To far Left and the buttom part of the picture would be the area which I live in.
The town of Bonners Ferry is still on the left hand side but it right by the Kootenai River.
Then you head toward the right is up on a buff, my friend Quenella lives which is Katka.
Then farther to the right is the town of Moyie Springs.

Next weekend photo hunt will be can and or http://gattina-keyholepictures.blogspot.com/ I can't get the word to link.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Path-Ooooo)

This week for some reason both of photos for this weekend photo hunt came from the same area.

I was never much into rocks simple reason I picked up a lot of rocks out of the fields in Spokane Valley area. Every Spring and fall I had to go out and remove the larger rocks from the strawberry and raspberry patch that my parents had. So I had enough rock picking I thought would last me a life time.
But my husband side has a fascination for geology like things

So we went up on Myrtle creek at the beginning of it and there was a few land slides. Which totally change the landscape, so we found some interesting rocks. I don't know who found this rock but it all pretty and shinny. It made me go “ooooo
I'm guessing it either some type of Schist or Mica. But which is rare for the area we were at, Selkirk mountain range.

As the land slide happen in Myrtle creek area it cut a new path into the mountain side. Murphy and I hiked up this path that the land slide happen on. I went up to this boulder and went no further then that. Murphy went up little further and told me that the land split up head and there was two different paths.
I wonder what kind force was coming down the mountain to move a boulder like that.

Next weekend photo hunt will be numb and or planes and trains

I just don't know that many people in my area who would follow or have any interest in my religious beliefs. Personal I only know a few people in my area who follow was some what the same spiritual path as I do. I lean more to the “Earth Base Religion or some may called it “paganism”. It not devil worshiping.

Thursday evening as moon was coming up around half past eight Murphette and I did a ritual to thank the god/dess for the bounty from the garden harvest.
Plus we also a touch of Lammas to it.
I thought we put one together at the last moment. It last a little bit longer then five minutes.
I have to say it was simple and I enjoyed my self. Confession time...I wish I knew of local covent in my neck of the woods.
So end of the month when the next full moon is out. We're going up to Quenella place and do a full moon ritual up there. She too isn't into the heavy duty ultra conservative Abraham religions.
Confession time...I felt guilty leaving her out. But it was put together the last moment.
The 27th of this month is her birthday and she will be 65. So we thought of combining a birthday and full moon celebration together.

I been attending a class called “Full Catastrophe living” which is design by Jon Kabat Zinn

I don't know who reads my blog and also looks at my facebook page but on the weekend. I posted a few picture from my garden.

I haven't seen one of these blogthing quiz (life)
