Today Is Sunday October 31, 2021 This Is What Happen

 Happy Samhain. Happy Day of Dead. Well if your uncomfortable  with either one of those terms. Than I wish my friends and family who might celebrate.  Happy Harvest. 

I did up some spell candles. That what us pagan call praying. So on each color candle I wrote a little prayer. Red candle my spell is Scientist to be motivated to find cure for sickness, disease, and or conditions. Yellow (This color don't show up) Have wisdom to be kind to Mother Earth and Father Sky. Blue candle my spell is As we gather safely with each other, may we have good communication. Green candle spell is Those who are afraid my they find peace. Orange candle spell To listen to my teachable guide and spirit. Lavender candle spell To promote stronger moral, loving and kindness character. 

Not going to do the tarot cards that represent hubby or my paternal great grand fathers. Should be back on that, this coming Monday. We had beef stew for Samhaim

But now I will pick 3 comments and share my thoughts on them. 

My first comment comes from JOM, COLOUR ME and her comment was...Tarot cards aren't common here. Although I accompany for her tarot card reading many years ago. My favorite are banana pancakes too as I'm not into syrup on top. Banana add enough sweetness. Great ideal to give your family thumb drive of your blog and photo-lasting memories. I'm not sure what will happen to my blog when I'm not around, maybe someone in future will be interesting (?) life in 2020's. If not , these blog post will keep me and my mind alert for a few more years. Take care and keep the coffee brewing...In the area I live in is quite a few conservative Christians. Most of the pagans here pretty much keep into the closet. Although I find it rude when people jam there political and religion down one throat. I like fruit mix in my pancake or waffle batter. Personal I like peanut butter with either a preserves or honey on them. I just new jam, ginger. I don't have that many passwords, all pretty much the same. There in book. I would like to go into the future and hear what people thought of this time period. I have my opinion of different times in past. Like I said "I would like to give a thumb drive to our local museum" I strongly doubt the Smithsonian wants my blog. But we are in since recording and or documenting history, for future. My second comment comes from BASTELMANIA and comment she left was My family is not interest in any contact now, so when I'm dead, that's it! Nobody here cares! Have great day...I choice to keep low contact from quite a few members on my maternal side. Such as how we see the world is like burning the candle at the other ends. Quite a few of my mom side thinks Trump is better than slice bread. Plus my spiritual path bothers than. But I do see them, when the conversation goes to politics and or religion. I leave. Which is usual less than an hour at times. 3rd and last comment comes from LIFE WITH MERLIN and he comment is With 13 kids, I hope Adam had a big house...I have no ideal the size of house Adam lived in. My mom is one of 12 kids. 2 of them didn't make it to adulthood. I was told the 4 girl shared a bed. And 8 boys, although 2 boys died. So let say 6 boys. I'm sure they also had share beds. My guess they had 2 beds and 3 in them. I still have 1 Uncle, and 2 Aunts left.

Yesterday I put some more photos on thumb drive. And I thought I would post the first and last one I load up on the thumb drive. They're from last year. 

Now I figure what I was going to mention in my blog. It was last Thursday I believe I was getting some items in store. Actual I don't recall what I got. But the lady behind me. Said her son works in China and they got rid of there money. If she know what she talking about. Who knows. And the government here also want get rid of cash system. I'm think "Fruit Cake" and with magnetic strip or the chip in card. The government will keep track of what we are purchasing. I said my purchase are so boring and anyone interest in what purchase and or what I'm doing. I hope they find my life interesting. Today Is Saturday October 30 2021, This Is What Happen

 Usually on Sunday I do a post from three comment left during the week. Still plan to do that tomorrow. But today I'm going to start connecting hubby and my paternal Great Grandfathers to there TAROT CARD. So I'm starting with my Great Grandfather Duane card would of been EMPEROR So for next week or so. Will be sharing my tarot cards that is connect with these ancestors. Plus my regular posting. But also I like art in tarot cards.

End of the month I like to search and search out to a new blogger or one who I might not been in contact for some time. I like to have variety of bloggers. So today I went over to WOOD FAIRY and just randomly stop in at I just stop over at SAM and not sure anything about her. But I think over 97.3 % of people are good. 

Not sure if hubby or I will be going into town this weekend or not. I thought I would be. The reason I would of went in. To give Regis 2 BISACODYL we could find them in his package he got from the doctor. He found it. So there is no reason at this time for me to go in. For some reason I feel tired and I done a few small things around the place, laundered some jeans. Well heavier clothing. Once again I got table clean off. And still want to clean the sink in main bathroom. 

Didn't do Jack O Lantern this year. Yes I'm in my 60 and still carve a pumpkin. Main reason with covid and lack of working hours. My last two paychecks was down. Working out Christmas budget, got four granddaughter buy for. So at this time I will spend about $25 for toys. Than usual they get a dvd, book, new outfit, new Pjs, and than sibling toys. Something they can do together or as family. I'm sure we will be taking out the DVD and sibling toys. I will worry about my sons and spouses. They have plenty and not lacking funds. Pretty much can buy whatever they want or need. I'm sort of thinking of finding out type of charity they would like me to donate. $10 to $20 to. 

I fix breakfast this morning. Pancakes with mashed up banana in batter. Plus you can see a side of bacon. Personal I like my fruit in batter whole. I guess one can call me a snob. I don't care for pancake syrup. But I like real maple syrup. It rain most of last week. My friend Qunella said for month of October she got a little over 3 inches. This morning when I got up around 7 it was a bit frosty. But look weekend it look fairly nice. Usual when kids go trick or treating around here it just wet. It looks like a mixture of weather for the upcoming week. There was something I want to bring up in a post and I don't recall what it was. Hopefully in next week or so it will come to me. It pitch dark at 6:30 in evening.

Don't recall which site I got the sample package of "Cera Ve" I use this before. And like it. This evening I plan to shower and moisture cream on. I have combo skin.  Below my waist tends to be on dry side. I order some thumb drives. I been putting photos on them I'm keeping a copy of the thumb drive and giving my son family a photo thumb drive. But I would like to put my blog on thumb drive and like the photo give it to my son family. Another thing I would like to do is put my blog on thumb drive and donate to our local MUSEUM but once I left this earth. So it will be a while. Question time...What will or do you plan to do with your blog when you pass...

Today Is Friday October 29 2021, This Is What Happen

 

This blog post chance several time. I had plan to share the tarot card that represent hubby and my great grandfathers on our paternal side. But I ended up grabbing the wrong card. So look like I will start tomorrow. I know I won't finish up posting about Samhain by October 31st. Liz made this and I thought it's great, and now it on my fridge. She a great sketcher and I like to see her do an exhibit. She has some great art talent. 

This was going to be my last post about my ancestors. It was going to be brief statement on my ethnicity. A large portion of my family came from tribes of BRITON not sure which ones. I have some ideal which ones. Than the Anglo Saxon came in and had relationship with the local tribes people. I'm guessing it was both way force and consented. Some says the Anglo Saxon is root of White Supremacy. Confession time...I still make fun and snide remarks about groups like Aryan Brotherhood, Proud boys, Klu Klux Klan and others like them.  Or like in story or movie "To Kill A Mockingbird" the family like "Ewell" I make snide remarks about them. Than the last main leg of my ethnicity would be the Vikings.

Not sure what I will be doing over the weekend. Have a few possible ideals on what I might do. Statement time... I find my job boring. Run client around, remind them to bath and such, and do basic house hold chores. I look forward for weekend so I can be more active. Question time...Why would anyone just want to set and stare into space? My client just set. It would drive me buggy. Liz does a lot more than Regis.

Regis appointment is set up for his colonoscopy and endoscopy. Unless something strange happens. it will be done Monday November 1 in afternoon.

Today Is Thursday October 28 2021, This Is What Happen

 Had intended to post this for a while. Regardless it was raining all day. I got a photo of one of our local  restaurant. Personal I find it insulting. Opinion time...I doubt they respect their workers. By the way here in Idaho because if you get tips, the restaurant and such can pay you $3.35 and hour. I don't eat out all that much. But I tip well. I ate in this place and I don't have any major grips about the service or the food. But once this sign went up I haven't been back. Plus there a candidate sign who running for City Council. Statement time...I have issue when business stick up candidate sign, regardless who they my be. Here is CANIDATE  who sign is mounted on there building.

Look like next week might be some what busy. Regis has quite a few appointment next week, nothing much this week. Monday he having colonoscopy and endoscopy down in Sandpoint. But we haven't gotten the finely detail on what going on. Before any type of procedure they want a covid test in last 72 hours. The doctor office said they would have it send to Boundary County. So hopefully it comes here by tomorrow. Plus he need to have his interview. Didn't get it today. So look like I will be on the phone quite a bit tomorrow.  First of all I will call the covid testing area, which hospital parking lot. If it in we will go over and get it done. Than if it not in. I will call doctor office up who doing the procedure and tell them the issue. If we don't hear from hospital who doing the interview. I guess I will call them to see what going on. This waiting to last minute drive me nuts. Plus who knows with covid. I wouldn't want him to do colon prep and it no go on Monday. Liz still has some brain fog from covid. I had a light case of it. Thankful I didn't have to make any important choices. Just put out my Halloween lights. We don't get trick or treaters. But I still like putting up for Halloween.

Today was first time I seen my therapist. It was to get quick back ground of my life. I heard of fight or flight part of life. But he also mentioned about freeze. There been time in my life I learn how to shut down or freeze my self mostly emotional to survive. I call it feeling vacant and or void. One place I read it like play dead with one feelings, emotion and or thoughts. Sad thing lot of the time I don't recall exactly when I did it. I know when I heard about Bart tumor on second time around. For some reason I put my self in vacant space. I guess we trying to figure out some type of pattern and or switch. (but that not the word I want)  Afterward the thought of dealing with some emotional issue, it two things anxiety or scary. Confession time...I want my brain to go vacant. I thought of taking ativan so I wouldn't have to deal with it. But I had to go to work. Once I got to work my anxiety went some place and didn't have that vacant feeling.

Today IsWednesday October 27 2021, This Is What Happen

 

Looks like I will be finish up grade one over at JOURNAL BUDDIES and using a random number off computer I got number 31. If I was an Easter egg. I know I wouldn't want to be solid color. I would like to have design on me.  Maybe some flowers would be nice paint on. Or nice beach scene with big umbrella paint on. I know wouldn't want to be just plain. I don't believe I would want to over size egg or very tiny egg. Than also I know I wouldn't want to lay in basket. I might get covered by other egg and suffocate. I think I would like to be on an egg stand on shelf with other egg, all done differently. 

Next week I will start with grade 2 on journal buddies. 

Now it time to finish up with my paternal great grand father. Tonight I will be doing Murphy Great Grand father Adam. So now 1o facts about him.

1. Adam was born in Darmstadt, Hessen Germany.

2. Adam came over to United States with his parent as infant in early 1850

3. His parents name were Philp Altmair and Gertrude Amish.

4. The name Adam means the ground or earth. 

5. Here a list of famous ADAMS

6. There different spellings for Altmair but it basically means older steward, head man, or tenant farmer 

7. Adam had 4 brothers and 6 sister.

8. Adam married Mary Ruppenkamp and they had 13 kids. 

9. He was married in state of Iowa. 

10. Look like most of his married life he lived in state of Nebraska, and word Nebraska comes from an Indian word "Flat Water"

Work quite. Got a movie to watch from Liz, ALL ABOUT EVE Regis appointment is in afternoon. I have to see my therapist, first appointment. I'm guessing I'm his first client at 8AM and clueless how long my appointment will be. But if it early enough I will come home. Hopefully to watch the movie.  Since I don't need to be at work to around 11:30.

Today Is Monday October 25 2021, This Is What Happen

 Stop in the store to get few items, for Liz, Regis and my self. The only things I got for my self was 4 AA batteries and shipping tape. Than Regis need lighter and his medication pack. And for Liz her cigarettes. I order a 24 pack though Amazon. It hasn't been ship. I want batteries for camera, and the store was some what low on batteries. Question time...What is your area low on in store?  I recall seeing no toilet paper or paper towels. A few end up getting napkins for toilet paper. But I having seen for while an item total wiped out, maybe low inventory. It should be ok, if people isn't overly greedy.

Editor Note: I start the post on Monday and got watch Antique Road Show, on public TV. I'm so so on that show. I know they can't show all the items come in on TV. But I would like to know more about the history behind the items, than the value. 

Last for dinner, we had beef patty, a little over cooked. Not burned. Tried ROAST FENNEL. Both hubby and I love it. I want to expand my culinary to more roasted veggie. I know to night we're having pork chops for dinner tonight. 

My welling being word is "vacant" There been time in my life I felt vacant in my self. This one I'm not sure why or what behind this vacant feeling. Or maybe one might lost touch with one self. In all honesty I don't know the reason behind this part of anyone life. I'm sure I'm not the only one. My sweet eating and no eating after 7 at night, been pretty much on track. Last night I was at a overeater anonymous though zoom. The meeting was from 6:30 to 7:30 and as I said my eating stops at 7. Since I miss my 7 clock. For what every reason I had spoon full of peanut butter, after the zoom meeting. Not sure what hang up here is. But for a week and half I been spot on, with no eating after 7. 

These are last two scarecrow and I consider the one on left a witch. I decide to name them after my ancestor middle name. The one is after my mom middle name of Florence and my dad Siver. 

Got two things coming a new case cover for my phone and some thumb drives, I got 32gb and its 2.0. I also need a AC/DC plug in adaptor the one I was using for my art and craft lamp went cuput. One last thing. My thought our next president should between ages of 45 and 65. They have life experiences and there not entrenched in ideal or thoughts.

Today Is Sunday November 24 2021, This Is What Happen

 When I went to town yesterday I had plan to pick up some double AA batteries. Forgot to get them. I'm not going to drive to town to pick up one item. I will grab four pack tomorrow since I'll be going to work. I order a large pack from Amazon. It should be here end of the month or first part of next. Had plan to share some photos.

Got my flight down to Medford Oregon, leaving on Nov 11th from Spokane. Returning on 16th. Flight cost sure gone up. Usually I can find a flight for under $100. But this time for the 2 of us, it cost $610. I know holiday travel can be costly. Although I look up prices for a spring trip in mid march, and look like prices are still up. I looked in to Amtrak for spring trip, quite bit cheaper. From Spokane to Medford is about 614 miles. I'm about 100 miles from Spokane wa.

I text Liz and see how she is doing. Her blood oxygen isn't where it should be. Although not dangerous. But I suggest she get hold of a professional medical person. And talk to them and get there opinion.  

Let see what my thoughts and feeling from 3 people who left comments. My 1st comment comes from SONG BIRD and her comment is "All politics are local, Where I live we are voting for Town Supervisor (similar to a mayor) town council members, county sheriff and district Attorney. Sound like Song Bird has more to vote for than me. I only have 2 thing to vote on a levy for our local Ambulance and school board member. I know no Democrat and or liberal leaning is going to make public office here. So I try to vote for lease far right conservative candidates. The one I'm worried about one of the seat on the city council. Although I live outside of the city limit. There a 3 way race and hopefully it not spilt between the 2 reasonable candidate, and get the far right conservative. My 2nd comment I'll use is from LIZ  and here the comment she left "Glad your feeling better. I hope Liz and Regis is feeling well as well. I'm so glad I got vaccinated. I been texting Liz and her blood oxygen been below average. With not having complete set of lungs. And gave quick call, didn't want to keep her on phone for any length of time. I suggest she talk medical person, not the janitor. Some body over there with some medical back ground, and see what they suggest. My 3rd and last comment comes from GATTINA and her comment was "Fortunately I have no weight problem, most be terrible to pay attention of everything you eat. I wasn't over weight as a kid. In all honest I eat fairly healthy. But belonging to weight lost group. My eating habits are base on emotional. Neither up or down emotions. I'll eat because I don't know how to deal with all of my thoughts and emotions. All though I'm doing better. Like the only day I have sweets is on Tuesday. And no food after 7PM. I went back to review and old post of DECEMBER 17 2006 My oldest son was 18 than and my youngest would of 15, going to turn 16 the follow April. I like smell of really tree, maybe if the winter isn't to much, we can go out in woods and cut down tree. I have no desire to be stuck or slide into a ditch. It all weather related. We haven't been to GARDENIA CENTER for since I don't recall. I don't know what there policy are about covid. I think most churches in my area has no mask or vaccine mandate. Anyhow must churches here I have no desire to attend. I see neither Carole or Madcap is blogging.

Today Is Saturday October 23 2021, This Is What Happen

 

Who knows if any of us complete all of our task. But that ok, I'll just plug at them. Been loading photos on a thumb drives. But I ran out of them so, I order a box of 10 of them. Been putting photos on them for this lap top. The plan is to give both of my son family copy of photos. Plus I got trunk full of them from way back when. This is last photo I loaded on a thumb drive.

Got some fabric organized and clean out corner. Where I thoughts I might have my plug for my over head craft light. But no such luck. My mini water air condition uses the same cord. But for some reason it didn't work. Not sure if there issue with over head light. I hope it isn't any serious. Because it really shine light on to projects. 

Watch first disk of Avatar. It ok, so far. Start a little slow. I will finish the movie out. Hope it gets better.

 I'm hoping to find photo of Murphy great grandfather. "George" but now I will 10 trivia facts about him.

1. George came large family 6 boys and 9 girls. 

2. His parents were Nicholas Vandenberg and Helena Marie "Mary" VanDoren

3. George was born in Holland town Wisconsin. On 27 January 1873

4. He Aquarius, just like me.

5. It look like he and his brother Arnold and sister Hennietra moved to Nebraska.

6. George was married to Lousia Friess, in Wisconsin. And buried one son George there.

7 He and his wife Lousia had 2 boys and 4 girls.

8. His wife Lousia died and married Lousia sister or his sister in law. They had one son Laurence.  

9. Name George means "earth worker" or "farmer" 

10. Want to give your hand at quiz about GEORGE I only got 4 right. Most of them I was clueless.

In our area, we have a few things to vote on. I won't be able to vote in Bonners Ferry City Council. I live outside of city Limits. I hope either candidate Ron Smith, who is current City Council. Or Broin Poston. But I sure don't want Robert Lavala. Than there property tax level for "Boundary County Ambulance. Plus two school dist is holding school board election. We will be voting for our Zone Five who is Teresa Rae or David Wilson. Than there anther school zone running 2 candidate.  Micheal J Underhill, and Mary Fioravanti. I know I don't want either Wilson or Fioravanti in any public office. Here resent LETTERS  from The Bonners Ferry Herald. And also LETTERS from 9B News. 

As many you know I been rolling fabric strips into a ball, Each ball of fabrics weighs between 16 and 32 oz. One of my balls of fabric I notice that two fabrics was stuck together. So I had to unroll a ball of fabric and cut out the fabrics that was double together. I'm rolling up ball of fabric and wondering if I did same with the other 2 fabric balls.

Today Is Thursday October 21 2021, This Is What Happen

 I have feeling this will be a short post. But one never knows. I talk to the triage nurse about protecting my self and others from covid. Plus not spreading it about. I told her I came down with symptoms for covid on Friday the 8th, and I also been vaccinated back in Jan and Feb. Did my 10 days of quarantine. As I told you Liz has it now. She is at Regis place and doing her quarantine with Regis, although he hasn't came down with it. The nurse told me to stay as far as I can from them, wear an N95 mask, wash my hand and if no service are need stay home.  They seem fine with electronic voice signature,  we will be starting that Monday. I'm pretty sure my hours will be less with Liz. I told them I might have to work anther six months than what I plan. Both Regis and Liz was happy. It seem to me mental ill people have some time perception, mostly Regis. I wrote on there calendar when there quarantine was up. Or they might thinking it was up sooner and actual it was.

So today I went down to Sandpoint and to get some of Regis medical supplies. We don't have a medical supplies store in Bonners Ferry. I took back Regis dvd he got from Library down there. So I picked up some dvds. I end up getting 8 of them. 2 I kept for weekend. I haven't seen Avatar, so I got that one. Plus the other one is 'Loving Vinecent" I left them six of them at Regis. I don't recall all of them. I know a few horror movies. Regis like horror movies. General I think there stupid. I got Liz a Betty Davis movie. All About Eve. I'm interest in that one. Plus The Origin Of The Universe with Neil Degrasse  Tyson and the Advent Conspiracy. I just looked up the advent one, I'm thinking it was something else. Oh well.

I went over white cross pharmacy and they were sign on door, asking people to use drive though. Because of covid. So back into my car and to drive though. 

Since I'm not getting my hours in and pay check will be lot smaller.  I'm watching my money and trying to shop more wisely. So I got 2 solar ghost lights and 2 solar pumpkin lights, the type you steak in your yard. Than I got the thing you plug into your lighter to charge your phone, ubs cord, and a stylus. Regis need dish soap and canvas for painting. This is at dollar store. Once in while one might see someone in there with a mask. But majority of the clerks was wearing there mask on there chin. Letting there nose and mouth hand out. The clerk I went though she was wearing a mask, that covered both her mouth and nose. 

As of the 20th our COUNTY had 20 new cases. Not many mask wearers. But if you been around someone who test positive or been expose to it. One needs to get hold of people that you might had contact with. These 2 respond I just shake my head. "I show no symptom" and or "I'm not concern"

Today Is Wednesday October 20 2021, This Is What Happen

 

Little over a month until we celebrate Thanksgiving. Canada had there about 2 weeks ago. Look like there about ABOUT 15 countries celebrate Thanksgiving. This year my daughter in law Molly birthday falls on Thanksgiving. I use a random number picker for a writing topic. The random number picker came up with "8" Favorite Thanksgiving Pie...I grew up in family of pie makers. I can even make a very good pie. I seem to do best with EGG AND VINEGAR pie crust recipes. As for which Pie I like the best. I honestly can't say. But I like a fruit base pie most of all. I really like variety of fruit mix together. Or add some nuts of some type to fruit. Blue berries and strawberries makes a really good pie. Than apple and walnuts together. Toss little sour cream in. 

Liz got covid. She not hospital yet. She never got the vaccine. She is paranoid and really into these conspiracy theories. Confession time...There time I find conspiracy theories interesting. But I sure don't let them be part my decision making process. Since she doesn't have full set of lungs. I believe she missing half of one. Plus she smokes about pack of cigarettes' a day.  So I got an oxygen meter coming. At this point Murphy and I won't be use it. It should be tomorrow sometime and I will Liz barrow it. So she can keep track of her blood oxygen level. Hopefully she won't end up in hospital and or on ventilator.  

Let Regis know and Liz is on Regis couch sort of end and out. About the electronic time clock now requiring a voice signature from there home. Regis I'm not to worry about. But Liz isn't dependable. Sometime she home and other time she not. So my hours will be cut back with her. She get 61 hours a month. But now I will be lucky to get in 4 to 20 hours a month. When I use electronic clock they know where I am at. It use to be a lot of clients give there caregiver keys to place. They would say go in and do what needs to be done. Most home care agencies really don't like the ideal of us being client home, with out them.  I can understand because of liability reasons. Most services if client doesn't use it 30 days they loose it. Like Liz get housing vouch to help with her rent, and if she absent from her resident for 30 days she loose it. Same with my job. In simple way of explainer her she isn't dependable. The sad thing they don't have a program set up for her and other with mental illness. I know it a SENIOR LIVING PLACE but if only they had some type program like this for Liz and others. Since she has issue being alone. When she having issue, there full time staff to assist her as she having a mental break down. They have some nice FLOOR PLANS. One last thing I would like to say about the United States and mental illness. "They don't put enough resources into it"

I guess if hours goes down or to nothing. there plenty to at home.fri

Today Is Tuesday October 19 2021, This Is What happen

 It going to be a short post on well being. And I been going though the alphabet and each letter, coming up with word that some how relate to well being. And my U word is Understanding. There all sort of way of looking at understanding. or how to measure it. I total don't understand how I got this heavy. But on way of loosing and I'm understanding different parts of my life. I figure out that I can't have sweets every time I need or should deal with something either positive or negative. Being an overeater I need to stick to a common sense eating plan. Not say I can't have a treat, it needs to be part of the plan. This past week I kept to my eating plan.

I need clear up something. Not all DOCTORS OFFICE run their office as the one Liz goes to. This morning I took Regis to get a blood draw and covid test. Than this afternoon I took Liz over to get her covid test. Just waiting for results. 

I had somewhat hard time convince my client we had really no choice in doing electronic time clock though  a phone. See they have some conspiracy and paranoid ideals, mostly Liz. So now they will have to give a voice signature and plus send in progress notes. Every time they make us jump though more hoops. For no raises. They already have a hard time finding workers.

Soon I will be starting Murphy Great Grand father, this is last one for this Samhain I will feature. One of my paternal great grandfather name was "Duane" if I was a girl I would been name after him. I was name after hsi wife. Now for 10 fun and trivial facts 

1. Given name "Duane" It Irish and or Gaelic. Meaning dark, swarthy" 

2. He is youngest child of his family. He had 2 older brothers and 2 old sister. His sister died during there childhood.

3. His parents were Gilman Witherell and Mary Ann Simpson.

4. The surname of Witherell and varieties of spellings. Has two meaning one who tends sheep in pen. Or dweller in a nook or recess  donating a piece of land by side of a river. One deposited in bend.

5. He married Dora Stansell, and they had two sons.

6. He served at end of Civil War.

7. He was part of President Lincoln funeral. He was part of the 21 gun salute over Lincoln grave.

8. I was told he put a new meaning to word "frugal" I was told that he smoked a pipe. And waited for someone else to light there pipe. So we could get free light. Plus if stove was going, he take stick and start stick on fire, and light his pipe.

Went to work, and I honestly get tired of bringing up local covid news. I took Regis in store and he and I both had on our N95 mask, and still hardly anyone had mask, and it didn't surprise me. The only reason I went to the store was to get Liz basic supply beer and cigarettes. I got 32  case and I will be the one to regulate her beer. This way the case will last a week. I took her to the doctor office. She need to get covid test. We need a doctor order to get one.  And time we got done testing sight was close. This isn't what I want to really talk about. But being in a doctor office. Wouldn't you think they would take some precaution. None of the waiting room staff had mask on or any type of plex glass. Usually what I seen there is some type of sign about covid and rules at any medical office, nothing. None of the chairs were space in waiting room. Most people were sitting apart. 

Nurse came and got Liz. I went back with her. The nurse also had no mask on. Took her vitals. She sees a nurse practitioner, also no mask. I was total amazed by the whole thing. 

I'm trying to limited my time any local store to 2 days a week. Sunday and Thursday. I can run my client to store and set in car waiting. Today I heard they were 18 new cases and 36.51% increase.

Today Is Sunday October 17 2021, This Is What Happen

 I thought I would first visit back 3 blogs that left comments. My 1st will be SONGBIRD and the comment I like to share is "Sorry about the covidiots" I'm not sorry about them, personal I find most of them irritating" The 2nd comment I will be sharing is from CHRISTINE BLOG and her comment was "Hope Hubby Stay Negative" I have mix thoughts on that. Not sure what medical term they use. But I'm going to use the term sleeping plaque. The covid can simple be taking a nap in him, and anytime in next week or so. It simple can rise a shine. My quarantine ends on the 18th and his start that day and goes to  Thursday the 28th. 3rd and last comment is from LAW OF GRAVITY "you know, since you have covid, I think it ok if you don't get anything done. You earn some down time" I honestly didn't try to accomplish that much. Let say in four hour time period. I would guess my energy lasted 1 to 20 minutes, if that. My brain felt like fog. The symptoms change minute to minute. I think the virus was hunting a place to really hit. The Moderna mRNA did it job, and didn't end up in the hospital. Not sure since I came down with covid and when my next covid vax will be due. I will take the advice of medical profession, not those on social media.

Tomorrow I will be back on job. I'm trying to come up with a plan to get Liz supplies beer and smoke for week at time. I will keep them at my home and just take in her regular allotment. Which 6 pack of beer and pack of cigarettes.  Plus keep Regis out of stores as much as possible. YESTERDAY POST I went on rant about covid in my state and area. I want to keep my self out of public much as possible. Plus I plan to post about anther Great Grand Father.

This morning I went to town. We were low on lot of items. For us. I don't plan to go into do any grocery shopping. Thursday will be my next trip into the store. Put some more photos on thumb drive. Order batteries and oxygen meter. Plus a walking hand for Regis.

Today Is Saturday October 16 2021, This Is What Happen

Today I decided to flip things around a bit in my little world of blogging. Nothing major. Usually I post and read blogs in evening. Simple because of work. I feel sometime I'm tired from work. I feel I make more opps that way. Being Saturday. I can do things differently. 

Well thought of showing you 2 of my beiges from fabrics. Well my camera batteries went dead. One thing I need to get is some AA batteries. But I got my beiges organize and swatch paper made out. Before end of the month I need get anther notebook for more swatches. But no push.  

Since my camera batteries is dead, and I haven't checked the inventory. But hubby said he need more. We need order a few items. I start to look for granddaughter Christmas stuff. 

Plus I had plan to post one of my witches, I believe it would of been last one of this year. Unless I run into one local thrift store. The only thrift store that handles Halloween stuff is SECOND CHANCE. Unless things have change there. There only open 2 days of week, Friday and Saturday. Not sure why they have trouble keeping employees. But they do have quite over turn there. The other thrift store is "Community Thrift store" there own and ran by the 7th day Adventist. They pretty much handle most things. Nothing heavy on Halloween items. They have pumpkins and consider them. Fall and or Autumn stuff. No witches, ghost, or customs. Usual if they get any they send them over to Second Chance. Neither one places has took much precaution for covid. Community thrift has put larger air filters at end of there building.

Not shocked one bit. Idaho now be recognized as a "Covid Hot Spot" If you seek safety from Covid, don't come here. It even might be wise to where a haze mat suit. My state of Idaho is Dead Last when it comes to "Covid Safety" Let look at some of the facts

1. Idaho listed number 48th in positive rates.

2. Idaho tied for 50th in Covid deaths'

3. Idaho tied for 5oth in Transmission rates. 

But I feel it best to point out the stronger points in Idaho. It seems like we Idahoans rarely get chance to share a few notes of praise .

3. 5th best economy in country

4. 7th happies state.

The only thing I can do is keep my MASK, WASH MY HANDS, AND STAY SIX FEET or BETTER   

With our local numbers being what they are. I won't be out and about. As a Friday, now if you go to the emergency room. There going to give you a covid test. Looks like we have about 45 cases. Not quite a 40% positivity rate, 29% been fully vaccinated. Like I said I'm care full of places I frequent. Statement time....I have almost zero social life and simple reason is way people here how their action and behavior about covid. Even at times I wonder why I even care. Like why should care of the covidoits, since I doubt they care for me. I just need to get a few mean bones in my body.

 I been sharing interesting facts about my paternal Great Grandfathers. This will last one for this Samhain season. For my side. I'm about ready to introduce you to my Great Grandfather who is biological father to my Grandma Elsie. As for other day I introduce you to her adopted dad, THEODORE MILLER. Soon you will learn they both have same surname as "Miller" I been told their no family connections. 

I will share 9 trivia facts about my Great Grandfather "Edwin Miller"

1. His given name is "Edwin" and it comes from the old English word "ead" meaning rich blessed and "pine meaning friend. Other words rich friend. But from Anglo Saxon is form of Eadpine. Here a list of famous EDWIN 

2. Edwin was born in Michigan, I believe a town called Batavin in Michigan. One November 17 1847.

3. His parents were Augusta Miller and Mary Allen

4. Edwin was youngest son of Augusta and Mary. he had 2 brothers, and 3 sister. Plus his mom Mary died about 1858. His dad remarried and end up with half siblings 2 brothers. 

5. Edwin was deaf.

6. He married Emma Arvilla Trefry, on 21st of March in 1883. Tompkin Michigan. 

7. They had twin girls Emma and Jessica and his wife died 13 days after the giving birth.

8. He mainly worked as usually as day labor

9. He attended the GALLAUDET UNIVERSITY

I had pretty easy day. I had 2 things of yellow fabric out. Well each of pieces was yard a fabric so I cut out a little bit, to cut a 2.5 by 10 inch strip. So the fabrics is put in bigger piece stash. I have 2 skull lights that can be steaked in one yard. I think I will give it to Regis. I finish put up pumpkin and ghost lighted steaks in the yard.  Well Regis just got under my skin. He had ride to the doctor office to get tested for covid. So when arrive you call from parking lot and let them know you have arrive. And they ask where your located in the  parking lot .. And type of  car your in. Well they told him his appointment is at 3:15. Instead of 3:00. So he said they lied to him, and got pissed and left. Well when I had my covid test. I had 4pm time slot. I got in closer to 5. There running plenty of test. We call him the "Prince" Sun and Moon rises and set because of Regis. And last one is "He to busy being Regis" Now he going wait to see his regular doctor which is in November. And he said he will get covid test than. A day late and dollar short. I'll go to work on Monday, and he need to see his pain doctor. Had to cancel his appointment, with the doctor who helps him mange his pain. Because I had covid. Monday the 18th will be 10 days since my symptoms started. Well hubby test came back negative, for covid. But still he can get it. I just rank up the antibodies for the covid. He get once again strep. It seems he get strep a lot. I think he needs to have conversation with his doctor.

Today Is Thursday October 14 2021, This Is What Happen

 Let see how this line out works. Or should be line up. Hope photo and font doesn't look to odd. This last scarecrow I bought. Going name my scarecrows after hubby and my Ancestors. Not sure if I will use there given name or possible nickname. Murphy dad was name Dewayne and was call Dee. My dad given name was Harold, and was called Pete.

Since I haven't been to work and no sick time. Money isn't flowing in. But Monday the 18th I can go back to work, it will be 10 days since I shown symptoms. Although Murphy has appointment to be test tomorrow, Friday the 15th. But Regis to be test quite late on Friday. Than Liz is to be test on Monday the 18th. I will have Murphy ask when he goes in. If my client test positive am I safe to go to there place and work. I want some one with science back ground. So hubby will ask for me. 

So since this household is in quarantine. There a few things I got to work on. Got all the summer yard stuff up, put out Halloween lights. Worked on some my fabrics. Well I cut strips from ole sheets and pillow cases. Than rolled them into fabrics balls. It will be a while before I actual get crochet a rag rug from under my table. Before I go back to work I would like to make swatches out of my beiges fabrics and I have 2 yellow fabrics. Needs press and cut into strips for my current quilt I'm slowly working on. But I'm working on.

Well the therapist called and I got my first appointment on the 25th at 8AM. Put some photos on a thumb drive. Still got more to do. Keeping one for Murphy and I. Than give one to each of my son family.

Yesterday Was Tuesday October 12 and Today Is Wednesday October 13 2021, This Is What Happen.

 Yesterday I start to type out post, and accidently took out draft. So I'm ending up starting over. I was mainly focus one of my Great Grandpa, Theodore Miller. As I said on my dad side there his, her, and their kids. I don't have full 1st cousin on my dad side. Their half and step. But I consider them my cousins. My grandma on my dad side was adopted. Her biological parents were Irving Miller and Emma Trefry. They were both deaf and she had twin girls Emma and Jessica, their mother died shortly after childbirth. The girls end up being adopted. My grandma name was some reason change to Elsie when she was adopted.

Here is 10 fun and trivial facts about Theodore Miller.

1. He was born in THREE RIVER MICHIGAN

2. His parents were Lewis Miller and Mary Ann Fulkerson

3. Looks like he had 1 sister Mary Jane, and 2 brothers James B and Lewis Morris. He was the 3rd child born. Also he had half brother Charles Perry. His mom died and his dad remarried.

4. He was member of ANTIQUARIAN SOCIETY. Not sure of what chapter, but I'm sure it was in local area of Jackson Michigan.

5. He was Machinist for the MICHIGAN CENTRAL RAILROAD. What I been told him and his wife rent rooms. And my Grandfather Clarence rent a room from them.

Our local quilt club at a MYSTERY QUILT project and here is two of the entries. Sure look different when come to these quilt. I like barn and tree one the best. 

Now it Wednesday and I will continue this blog post. Tuesday Is day I usually hit little heavier on my well being. I told you had felt yukie. Well I went in and had covid test. I'm postive for covid. So glad I got vaccinated. To me it feels like the common cold. I have a good ideal where I caught it from. Thursday I was over at Liz, and her grandson had a running nose. Than his mom was sick on Friday and took time off of work. None of them been vaccinated. Plus for population my area numbers aren't all that good. yesterday we had 87 positive cases and 39.48% of our area has a positive covid out come. And only 28.9% is fully vaccinated. So I'm following the CDC guide line.   

My letter is "T" and word is "Teachable" first thing I don't take to much heart to saying "You can't teach and ole dog new tricks" I believe people choose to be non teachable, by being arrogant, not seeing or hearing those who looks at world differently than one self. I look at learning a joyfully experience.

On Wednesday I like to do a story using JOURNAL BUDDIES 

I'm using NUMBER 27 for challenge and see what sort of story I can come up with. 

First of all living area where snow happens. I been a few snowball fight, and I don't know how to honestly tell if someone or team wins or looses. First of all let talk about hand protection and keeping one had warm. Snow is cold. First of all ones needs cotton or wool gloves on. But snow stick to them. I than recommend a vinyl glove over, so snow won't stick. Next thing is winter boots you won't slip and fall on ice. Yes over the years I took plenty of falls on ice. Now as I age it hurts a lot worst than when I kid. gather up the snow and pack it into a ball. About size of baseball which is about 3 inches. I would say nothing over 6 inches. Should be able to be threw with one hand. The person or team who get hit with less snowballs win. When I was younger snowball fighting was a blast. Now it would be complete different story. I have no advice or secrets on how to win a snowball fight.

Who know how the font and photo will line up. I have different way of doing my blog tomorrow.  Plus yesterday I got watch a show about galaxy on public television. s

Today Is October 11 2021, This Is What Happen

 Didn't go to work today. Still not feeling well. I called up and talk to one nurses were I go to doctor. Ask the difference between covid and common cold. Well at first the big difference between covid and common cold is your sense of smell and taste. But the nurse couldn't give me straight answer. But off on I've had some slight nausea. Nothing like I need to carry a bucket around every where I went. 

  

This is my latest witch, and her name is Marigold. She a kitchen Witch. I bought her off of Esty, a shop called JOYFULL REDO. I don't see my self getting anymore witches this year. Unless I run into them at thrift store. 

I mange to get solar lights picked up around the barn/shed and garage/shed. Still need to do the ones around the house. 

Short time ago, I bought this canvas tote, from one local thrift store. Paid $1.99 for it. My plan is to use it to carry my creative projects in. Sometime my project tags along with me. 

Murphy and I got to tree wrap in netting to somewhat protect them from the deers. The farmer down road came and worked on his cattle fence. 

Thought I would share 2 more quilts from local quilt show. Like I said I didn't go, because of the crud. Plus I have no ideal what is on table. 

Today is INDIGENOUS PEOPLE DAY here in United States. My local tribe is the KOOTENAI. Question time...What is local native tribe in your area?

On my father side. There is his, hers, and their children. My dad had lot of respect for his Stepdad, than his biological dad. Only think it would be fair to tribute to my step great grandpa "Charles Phelps Wells"

Don't get chance to stop at these 2 thrift store in Post Falls very often. Sort off the freeway, and which goes over Post Falls. I bought these from Hospice thrift store. Paid $2.59 for purse and $1.59 for wallet. Right next to it a consignment store called "My favorite Things" All sort of cool things. Didn't buy anything. One didn't see anything that called my fancy. 

Since I got new purse, well new to me. I took three of the ones I had, to local thrift store. Some time back I was in the NORTH TOWN MALL and saw a witches backpack purse and now I don't recall the store it was in. I know it was lower level. I believe it was close to Barnes and Nobble. 

Maybe I got the cursor fixed. Guess we will see once I hit publish button. Who knows. I still have the yukies. Really want to go to our local quilt show. But sometime it hard to tell a common cold or possible break though case of plaque. Ok, covid. So some considerate people put up photos of quilts on our group page, over on facebook.

Here 2 I pulled off group facebook page. I like try to figure out patterns. It doing Geometry. Never took it school. I did pre Algebra. I know I mention it my posting before. I got pity D.  I'm fan of SAMPLER BLOCK QUILT. Maybe the reason I like sampler blocks I look at the world in eclectic view. But I like ideal of theme sampler quilt. As this one for a kitchen theme.

I been doing little bit of this and that. Small things. I unload the dish washer. Still feel drain of energy. I think other two things I like go though the paper work table. And load of wash. I will see where things set.

Today Is Saturday October 10 2021, This Is What Happen

 

Last few posting for my blog. The type and photo isn't what I want. Maybe before end of month I will have it figure out. Got my Samhain altar set up for 2021. I will be honoring both hubby and my paternal great grand fathers. There given name is Charles, Theodore, Duane, Edwin, Adam and George. Edwin wife died shortly after given birth. She and Edwin were deaf and gave the twins up for adoption. So actual I know something about both Edwin line and the family who adopted my grandmother, her adopted dad name was Theodore. The black candle represent banish, soon vail between this world and those who gone before. It basic to keep not nice things coming though. Each of the great grand dad I gave them a candle with a prayer. 

One thing I practice is safety, when comes to my burning candles. There on solid base. I will light the prayer candle when sun go down on Halloween, or Samhain. 

 There people who uses photo of their ancestors. I have photos of some of great grand fathers. And there in trunk, in a mess. But some of the great grand father I don't have photos of. So I have the info of when they were born. Each of zodiac sign (Sun sign) is line up with major arcana of tarot. So each one of great grand father is being honor by one of the major arcana. 

During the month I plan to share some trivia of the great grand father and other Samhain stuff.

I had hope to go to the local quilt show, since I have the yukies. I didn't go. No need to spread it around. I feel that would be inconsiderate. So our local quilt club has a facebook group page. I ask nicely if some could share there pictures. I will share some of local quilts here on my blog. We have some talent quilters.

The only thing we mange to do is take trash up to dump. Had plan to take a few items out of the barn that needs to be haul off to dump. I only got one of the items, because it was easy to grab. The other few things were buried about. Like I said I got yukies and my energy level is dropped a bit. So some other time they will be haul off. We haul five cans of trash, and forgot to dump one. Went out and started to pick up the summer outdoor décor. Got whirl things put up. Like I said earlier my energy is down. It been down lower even. Maybe later on I can get my solar lights put up. But no real rush. I might even chance to do it before rain comes in tomorrow.

One other thing I attempt to do is put photos from my lap top on a thumb drive. It been ages since I done that I need google "How to put photos on thumb drive" for a review. I know understand when we were in school how things were drilled in our heads.

Today Is Friday October 8 2021, This Is What Happen

 I tried one letter to see what small print would look like. To small. So I figure the font and such will be up the right side of the scarecrow. If I have time over weekend I might see if I can hunt down Halloween theme for my blog.

I thought it would be cool to add a few scarecrows to my Halloween décor. I believe I pick this up at thrift store down in Post Fall less than $2.00. Here bit on history of SCARECROWS. They been around for a long time. Confession time...I always want to a scarecrow and place it in garden, or flower bed. 

Work both place finish my day with Regis. I'm coming down with crud. Feel slightly congested in bronchial tubes, although not bad. No need to go to the doctor. I been vaccinated and I know I can get covid. Although I like keep my odds down ending up in hospital. 

I don't believe I talk much about occults. I don't believe there a true definition of occult. Quite a few times I seen people toss word freely about if they didn't agree on your life style, political or religious stance. Than it was consider a occult of some form or other. I'm starting to come to conclusion a occult is letting or being comfortable having someone and or organization be completely be in control of your free will. The reason I bought this up. Liz daughter sound like she is letting her Mormon faith turn it in a occult. She text her mom, daughter went on rambling on about the sinful side of her mom. Sure we all have short comings. Never heard Liz tell lie, and her daughter had state take her older kids from her. She is has been turning her life around, remarried to what seems to be nice guy.  I have really no problems with majority of religion. I won't be coming to your door and to convert you to paganism. 

Hubby went doctor and had them look at his boil, it healing just fine. Also my husband has overly active lymph on his left side of his neck. When over active he takes decongestion something like Benadryl.  

I know hubby is talking about going up to dump tomorrow and to haul garbage. I will grab the few items out of barn/shed. To put in back of pick up.

 Guess I will put up with the Halloween theme for blogger. I have to say I'm not thrilled how type set and photos are being laid out. Maybe in due time I will figure it all out. November 1st I will go back to something else. 

Work was pretty routine. Nothing out of line. 

Had hope to get photo of my Samhain Altar. This year I'm celebrating my and husband paternal great grandfather. Gave them each a candle and wrote a message on each one.

My great grandfather Duane would of been Aries so I gave him red candle. On his candle I wrote..."Scientist to be motivated to find a cure for sickness, disease and or conditions. Than my other great grandfather Edwin and sometime he list as Irving. So I'm not sure which is his given or middle name. He is Scorpio and I gave him yellow candle. And wrote..."Have wisdom to be kind to Mother Earth and Father Sky.

Hubby great grandfather Adam and George. Adam would be a Capricorn, he got blue candle which I wrote "As we gather safely with other, may we have good communication" Than Murphy other great grandfather George I wrote on a green candle..."Those who are Afraid my they find peace"

One could call these prayer, spell, or smoke signals. I will light them closer to Samhain. 

Someone ask me, I believe what is Samhain. It is like celebration of "Day Of Dead" but it Irish version. Here short ARTICLE  

Murphy off to the doctor tomorrow to have doctor look the boil that was remove. He been on antibiotic called, CLINDAMYCIN  And they ran out time take a look at his swollen arm pit lymph nodes. I'm off to work, glad it Friday. Our local quilt show is going on. The show start tomorrow I believe around 4 and goes to 7 in evening. But it all day Saturday. I'm debating with my self to go down on Saturday. I been vaccinated and I can put on a N95 mask. Haven't been to any event for all most two years, because low vaccinated rate. Statement time...I'm not afraid of covid, but I have respect for it. Quenella and I had lunch at MI PUEBLO and I was going to ask her if she want to see Quilts this Saturday. There no way I would go into a building without a mask.

Today Is Tuesday October 5 2021, This Is What Happen

 Haven't been happy how the text and my photo been on my resent post. So I need to figure out what going on. I don't think great mystery of world. So I pulled old photo of what is called "myrtle turtle"  Looks like caught a lonely little tree. But maybe it really not lonely. 

Usually in past on Tuesday I would post something about well being. I consider well being every thing from physical to mental, and in thing between I been going though the alphabet and using different letter what I thought related to well being. So today letter is letter "S" and word is "safe" it small word but I think it important one. 

Editor note....I didn't have chance to finish up my post on Tuesday, and now it Wednesday the 6 of October. Life happen and Usually it has to do with work. 

I so recall not feeling safe at home grew up in and in school. But for some reason I felt safe at camp, teenage rehabilitation center, and in different clubs. I was quite active in 4H and horses. The only thing I worry about now is those red neck. "Sorry about term" but those extreme Trumpsterite worries me a bit. I don't rock boat much here political or religiously.  One could say I don't step to wildly outside of box.

 These places mostly teenage rehabilitation center help in so many ways. I'm sure things change and new ideal of way of thinking. Tuesday before I took Regis to his eye doctor. I recalled up the behavior scheduler to see where I am on schedule, to see when my counseling will start. Of course there quite the list of people who has issues. Don't we all. 

I got the answer machine. I'm sure I'm not the only one who left messages. I know I have a few items that never been worked out.

I start back on overeater anonymous. We have new lady and we start in our O.A book, from the start. Which is also good for me.  I feel off wagon when came to my well being. Slowly pulling my self around again. 

Now for the family health. My son Bart got his results from his tumor. It at stage two cancer. Three and four is worst. I don't understand medical reason behind this. But if cancer start in different part body and go to brain at later date, it more of an issue. So his started in the brain, for some reason it about zero chance it will travel to other parts of his body.  And it was five years between them. Plus he takes this seriously and does everything possible to mange it. Who knows what will come long in future. 

Murphy had some growth. One was removed this morning. He had something like a boil on his tant, which was cut out. Took about hour, gave him some antibiotics. He goes back in Friday and doctor going to look at tant area again. Plus he a lump in the arm pit area. That they didn't have time to look at. 

Slowly been organizing crafts and organizing my other stuff. I found three purses I'm willing to give up. Next time we do dump run. I know there a few things in shed/barn to go. Hopefully next few posting I can start sharing my Samhain and or Halloween.
