Today Is Tuesday September 29 2020, This Is What Happen

Thought I would be watching the debate, well I can still hear it. It remind me of middle school kids. I would like to be inform, not looking for cheap entertainment.

This morning my friend and I was going out in Moyie area to visit a friend. But they had some type of crud. So we sat on Main street. Got our coffee at Under the Sun and she had tea. Came home and did a few things, nothing big.

Went to the company meeting and to see what going on with private insurance and how medicaid will be handling things. At this point I am so glad my clients is under a state plan. In next few years things will be changing majorly in home care or personal care. The sad thing neither one trust the so call the other side. Which is total sad. The other thing I find is sad that there having trouble finding home or personal care givers. With covid is one factors I feel a little safer then being on front line health care worker. But I sure wouldn't want to be a store clerk, mostly in Idaho. Mask aren't the popular thing here. Plus the other problem is pay rate.

Murphy started to stain the deck. He needs to go to the foot doctor to get mold made of his feet

Afterward I stop in at Walmart to see if they had few things. Went to get some embroidery supplies. Did find the hoops. Although they had no flour sack dish towel. I will check SHARON'S to see if they have any. One of other thing I want to find was some disinfectant in container. Well if not found I will order it online.

Almost ready to move on to my next main color, yellow. I don't see starting it until around Monday the 5th. But today I mange to get my pink fabric strips cut. The one on left is first one I cut, and on the right is last one cut.

Today Is Monday September 28 2020, This Is What Happen

Wasn't sure what was going to be done with cardiologist for Murphy. But it was more interview then any thing. Lot of questions. And the usual walking in doctor stuff like weight, blood pressure and this time both arms. And also listen to his heart and arteries. Since was cardiologist they did a EKG (electoral Cardiogram)  But then there some blood work, don't recall what there looking for. Except for thyroid. And then he needs a ANGIOGRAPHY

Short day at work and look like it going to be a struggle to get my hours in this week. I like two full days off. Tomorrow in the afternoon I have my job meeting. We're meeting at one local pizza polar in Sandpoint and there sitting up some seating outside. I haven't been for a while and should catch up on medicaid and the covid thing.

I haven't been to many restaurants and  the few I been to here in my local area, nothing changed. There not chain ones. Well today I was into two places Burger King and Subway. And every other table they had a card on tables, saying it was unavailable. I could come with some light humor for it.

So look like Saturday I will need to work to get my hours in. I like to have two days off in roll. No talk of politics or crafts. A little on Covid.

Today Is Sunday September 27 2020, This Is What Happen

You can see the deers are roaming around at night. Our game camera and one catches all sort of interesting things. I hope nothing exciting comes across. So a quite day. As I post I will share two more photo off the game camera. Thinking of getting anther one for backyard, that's where the birds are. Saw small woodpecker.

Well hubby and I finished the last part of cleaning the deck off our dining room. Well as for quilting I pulled out seven pieces of pink fabric and press them. I should be able to get them cut tomorrow. It seems most of them our more on dusty rose coloring.

I'm reading a book on CRAZY QUILT quilting and I don't know why these quilt fascinate me.

In morning Hubby and I are heading to Sandpoint, his regular doctor wants him to see a cardiologist. The reason he is being send his pulse rate tends to be on high side. So not sure what sort of test or if any will be ask for. We will try to get most done what we can our home town. When I heard first heard that my husband had to go a cardiologist, started to wonder what going on. Well once I asked and found out I was relief. After we're done with the doctor. Stop in at there Safeway and grab some milk and head home. I then will go to work, should be there before noon.

As we were sitting down to eat. It came across the news that our President Trump in 2016 paid $750 in taxes. And lot of years he paid zero. Today I wrote a check out for our quarterly taxes of $550 and I do this four times a year. So go head and do the math. If we get any part refund it usual applied to following years taxes.

I sure hope my blog friends enjoyed the random photos from the game camera. Maybe you can find something interesting. I said I was going to do four you tube video this month. I hoping to do anther fabric un packaging, either Tuesday or Wednesday.

Today Is Saturday September 26 2020, This Is What Happen

Last three of my reds from my upcoming quilt. I don't recall exactly how many red strips I cut. But I know it between 30 and 35. I sort out my pinks and got pinks ready I will be using in quilt. So tomorrow if works out I will press and cut the strips. Monday I should be able to move on to the yellow fabrics. So first part of October I should be able to start to sew my strips together.

Still slow but moving towards putting a dent in fabrics. See went Walmart I believe was last Thursday to get a 15 quart (14 liter) totes for my fabrics. Well I ended up ordering them online.  So sometime first part of October I should be receiving 10 totes.

Need or should slow down purchasing items. Grand Children Yule season is coming. I doubt that we will be going any place for Holiday. Statement time...It makes my angry that people didn't and don't still take this covid seriously. When I pass some S.O.B without a mask, I think you selfish piece of skin, because of you and other like you. There a lot of responsible people who wears a mask and we can't or choice not to have our usual social life. So Grandparents here in Idaho will get Christmas and ship it to them.

My mom started me to cook very young. This evening we had biscuits with chicken gravy over them. Well biscuits was first thing I made. My mom did up the chicken gravy so it was almost like the first meal I help make. But I don't recall what veggie we had back then. Tonight it was green beans.

Hubby and I scrubbed our back deck with power washer. Tomorrow we will put the fungus or the whiten stuff on it.  It helps protect it. I would say Tuesday or after Wednesday Murphy will stain the deck. He has a doctor appointment on Monday and Wednesday.

Our rain gauge have a little over 1 inch (2.5 CM)

Today Is Friday September 25 2020, This Is What Happen

I need to correct a fact on my last posting. I made it sound like my hubby and our son celebrate there birthday the same day. I was dead tired when posted. Sawyer birthday is September 23 and Murphy is November 27th.

I call my son on his birthday and ask what he got. He said nothing. Well he bought himself a small greenhouse. Not sure what they plan to do with it.

Thursday Regis and I had to do some errands in Sandpoint. Of course he and I stop in for some things from the library. He got movies and for myself some quilting books. I known I mention about doing fun sampler quilt for my granddaughters, so I found an Noah Art quilt block book. But the issue is there all different sizes. I am looking for something in 12 inch range. See my alteration of clothing or anything do with sewing is quite limited. For me it just better to start fresh.

Regis and I did a few other stops. He went into the game store and I just waited out in the rig. He had his mask on. Never asked him how many had mask on. Well we went into wal-mart and good will. I would say off top of my head only half customers had mask on, walmart pretty much followed social distance. Then we went over goodwill and about the same had mask on. But social distance was total joke. So glad I had an N95 on and was in and out in less 10 minutes. There plexiglass shield was set up so funky, it really had no protection for anyone.

Hubby and I been considering a trip down to Medford end of October. Personally I have no issue or worry about going down to Oregon. Actual I feel safer down there then I do in my own community even if population is more.   I show no symptom of covid but with our community not taking it serious I'm uncomfortable about traveling. I would feel awful if I had it unknowingly and was one who more or less end up being a typhoid Mary. Jury is out and leaning to not to go.

I figure this weekend I will be finishing up my red fabric strips for quilt I am working on. Also going to put in one orange fabric strip. Which should be finished over the weekend. I doubt that I will be moving on to yellow fabric before the weekend is over. Only short day with Regis and we down to one of our local fabric shop. Regis need some velcro on project he is working on. For myself I just looked. They place had gumball machine filled with buttons, I real want to put a quarter in and see what sort of buttons came out.

Today Is Wednesday Is September 23 2020, This Is What Happen

I am tired. I had every intention of cutting red strips for the quilt. My goal was to cut out a lease six and only managed get three of them done. And there was so many flubs.

Today is Murphy and my sons birthday, he 32 years old.

Today Is Tuesday September 22 2020, This Is What Happen

Got the rest of my red fabric pressed out. In next three or four days I should have my strips cut. My 2 inch block quilt is moving along. Then my next main color will be yellow. Of course I will have a few other colors in there. Simple because I feel like it.

It good place and time to show you my new car. New to us. It 2000 Chevy Prizm. We got manual transmission.

This coming Thursday I will be taking Regis down to Sandpoint to get his HF 10 adjusted. We going to pain clinic there. I real don't have high regard for them.

Both of us need to do some shopping. I got a listed going, usually I shop with list and a budget. My budget is $50.00 plus $3.00 for our state sale tax, of 6%. I know I won't get everything on my list. At this time there is 8 items and some of items I need more than 1. I was going to say I am practical shopper, that not quite true. I have an addiction for fabric. There is Fabric Anonymous but it not like 12 STEPS PROGRAM. It a fabric shop and I sure didn't stay on site. I haven't yet went out and refinance the place.

Hubby is not quite 10 years older. Off and on conversation we talked about if one of died. He said we would rather go first. Because he said I was his rock and don't know if he could mange without me.He managed his life before. His statement made me both sad and glad. He has called me his "Dora poo". But then on the other hand our spats hardly last over 15 minutes. When we were first married neither one of us was afraid to speak our mind. And I won't go into all of our marital spats. Well I wonder about those who never had a spat with there spouse.

Over on facebook I ask this question...I'm 60 years old how much older or younger you are then me. Most people gave me there age.

Got a mystery package of fat quarters. Will use to of them for quilt I am presently working on. Once I get 100 subscriber over on my CHANNEL I will have a give away. Holding a camera one hand and flip fabric is somewhat tricky. Anyhow I believe I am pretty close  to half way though my red fabrics. More news tomorrow and I will tell you all about the car I got.

Today Is Sunday September 2020, This Is What Happen

Thought I would post before noon my time. Yesterday I start to cut some of my red stripes for my 2 inch throw quilt. I mention of other up coming quilts I would or plan to do. I work 30.50 hours outside of the home. And take care of things around the place, so project are slow going. Once I start sewing the strips for the 2 inch block quilt, then I will start doing the embroidery for my Granddaughter(s) quilt. And who knows when actual the Victorian crazy quilt will be start.

She was some of our hopes and dreams. As by social media the world knows of passing of Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Do you recall passing of  Antonin Scalia, and this last part of President Obama last term of President and how important it was to wait, until after election of Trump Vs Clinton 2016. Opinion time...It would only right to wait until after the inauguration of 2021. I called my two United State Senator from my state of Idaho and left this message..."No Confirmation Until After Inauguration" Did try to get hold of Mitch McConnell he is head of Republican party of Senate but no luck. I also need to try to get message to Charles Schumer. I might rant and rave about issues. But when there issue I speak to my elected officials. This is one of them.

Hubby change the oil in pick up, we're down to one rig. Going to look at rig tomorrow. Paid the bills for September I usual like them done first part of the month. I didn't! But now they are. Did load of wash and now the clothes are in dryer.

It been a little time since I mention my weight journey. It seems like I am falling off the wagon when it comes to eating. I was going to T.O.P.S and since of Covid we and not sure if any groups have meant. But our local area seems not to take the covid serious. Statement time...I don't feel safe going to any type of groups or gathering where protection isn't taking seriously. So I am seeing if I could find a local OVER EATERS ANONYMOUS  that does zoom.

I also haven't been to our local art or quilt guild for sometime. Confession time...Even before Covid I wasn't going hardly at all. I will blame it on the job. The other day I ran into one local artist and she hasn't been much and she was telling me. That there were people from local art group that came down with covid. And not sure if who or the number of mask in group had mask on. My guess it was super low number. See even next Saturday there is a stampin party here in my local area. Right now 4 going and 18 interested. As evidence points as for mask and social distance it not a thing. I been invited to a gathering of gift bag exchange and usual it happen once a month and photos of gather no one had mask on either. I am even starting wear a N95 mask when I go where there a low mask participation.

Just heard my dryer beep....Coffee is on

Today Is Saturday September 19 2020, This Is What Happen

It helps if one reads the direction complete though. I recently bought some transfer pencils. In times ago one would usual buy a transfer patterns or use carbon copy paper. Well now they have these pencils that is used to transfer patterns drawings on to cloth, so one can embroidery. I planning to do some embroidery quilt blocks for my granddaughters quilts. Let see how these transfer pencils work. First two mistakes I made was I didn't have a dry iron. So it hot dry iron. The other flub I made was I might of made was not pressed hard enough on lead. At this point I will give it 4.5 paint brushes up. I think it could move up to a 5 paint brushes.

Hubby and I been sealing the electrical hook up to our home. With electrical spray tape. I am betting there is all sort of sprays one get tape in.

Found a car and Monday at one I will meet the lady. Take it for drive and have a mechanic look at it.

Went to town earlier today. Got quite a bit of meat. We're having lamb chops for dinner.

When I was young I really liked gram crackers and milk. Now I don't do milk, not friendly with the digestive system. So I used oat milk.

Well ready move on to my next tarot card I am going to do, "Wheel of Fortune" It not coming to me. Question time...How would your own personal Wheel of Fortune card? Here in LINK I am guessing unless something comes to me. I will be working on my food and kitchen theme of my atc cards. Then I also have my project of the Brooklyn Sketch Book Project.

Looks like I will try to work in this orange fabric for my upcoming quilt. I real don't have all that much orange fabric. Got some jack o' lantern print. But the background color is another color other than orange. Confession time....I ordered a mystery package of fabric, and Monday I will do a video of what I got....Editor Note...In photo the fabric looks yellow, but in reality it looks orange.

Got my tote of red container of scapes. For today I just iron them. I mention about after I got my granddaughter quilts done. I was going to make myself a Victorian style quilt. We have king size bed and if I made each block 12 inches I would need 72 of them. I found youtube video this lady Ms Allen is making her self a crazy block quilt and I been watching them. So right now I am on BLOCK THREE and since I need to unload dish washer and some of you might watch the video before me.

Today Is Friday September 18 2020, This Is What Happen.

I
Let just call me a drop in participation person when comes to PAINT PARTY FRIDAY. I been working on my own tarot deck, what think the cards should look like. They all been done in color pencil. This is my six pentacles and my main worry was it might represent "trickle down economic" It about giving and taking. Generosity. So my ideal was free warehouse with limited and bounds. If you notice there a scale in the lower left hand corner, with number 15. This would let people come and get 15 pounds (7 kilograms) a week of free items. Question time...If you could 15 pounds of free items in a week what sort items would be interested in?

Think I got  my blues strips cut for so called postage stamp quilt. I actual need come up with anther name. A postage stamp quilt are 1 inch (2.5 centimeters) There 55 stripes of blue. I don't want to come out and say I got all my blues, because there is chance I could find more blue fabric. Ready to move on to my next color. The main next color I will be working with is red and a small bit of orange.

Didn't sleep well last night. Between dreaming and thinking. It plain wore me out. I kept thinking of different ideals for a crazy quilt. Which I have the current quilt going and still cutting strips and organizing fabrics. See I have three granddaughter that I want to do a quilt for before I even start on crazy quilt. Confession time...I was on the computer to long watch video on crazy quilts. As far as I know their not any the oven.

Off to work. I was thinking of taking the day off. And working Saturday. I let Regis know I need an easy local day. I am not up to par. I just need to keep it all local.

Today Is September 16 2020. This Is What Happen

Today would of been my mothers 97 birthday. She been gone 20 years and she was one not to sugar coat much anything. I recall one time I was watch some news story and some lady was saying kids in her day did what they were told. My mom would say..."That's nothing but a fib"...When she was younger she cooked for a place called Don's Cafe. I am guess this happen sometime during WWII area. She hadn't had a day off for sometime. Findly she got some time off. Start out some bar drinking and was looted to the wind. Well Don's cafe replacement didn't show and she had no ideal how she got there. Someone order steaks and fried oysters. Well she got the order out and being so drunk that somehow she put both of her hands on grill and burn them. Next day her hands was all blistered. The gentleman came back into the kitchen and thanks you, telling her it was best fried steak and oyster he every had. Gave her personal tip. I don't if she every told me the amount or I forgot.

Today was creative day with my clients. All three of us went. Liz didn't work on anything she did bring her drawing supplies and nothing came to her. I complete understand I had hard time figure something representing generosity and didn't want to angle off toward "trickle down" Regis worked on a diorama. He using spray foam to build I believe a cave. So Friday I be taking part in Paint Party Friday.

As for my quilt I am pretty much done doing the blues. I even start to square off some piece or what ever shape I can cut them into. But most of them went back into there correct container. Some time down the road I would like to make a CRAZY QUILT But before that I want to get my grand daughter quilts done. Work makes things go slow.

In morning I am going call about car.

Today Is Sunday September 13 2020, This Is What Happen.

We bought a cord of larch firewood. When the box was young it sold for $60 to $80 a cord. We paid $220. Our main heat source in natural gas. But wood is for back up and if super cold in the single digits. We can build a fire in wood heater.

Got most of my blue fabric scraps pretty much cut and organized. And also been going though the green. I believe next color will be red and orange. The only thing now I need to get more containers. I got them out of Walmart and size of them, works quite well for my scraps. But only wish it moves fast.

Just request my general election ballot. With covid and with Trump in White house. I want him gone.

Still quite smokey here it will be that way until we get a good rain. The rain might settle the smoke for a bit. But it depends how much we get. It could just gives a break, although if to much rain it could cause mud and ash slides.

Got a few bills to take care of.

Today Is Saturday September 12 2020, This Is What Happen

Been slowly organize and cutting fabrics for my version  of postage stamp. Little trivia I heard the smallest square anyone did for quilt block is 2 and 3 quarters. Not sure how that would be sewn. Seams on quilt is quarter inch. Well I don't think it would be for my patient for something that small. A two inch block is smallest I want to do. But organize and working on quilt seem to be going well. I feel like gaining something. The only thing I grib about is not enough time to work my creative projects. Question time...what print would you consider this fabric?

Finely got my six pentacles done, now I am coloring it in. At this time I won't say what was the hardest.  I will be posting it on PAINT PARTY FRIDAY this coming Friday the 18th.

Liz went back into her room, it been a while since she was in her bedroom. She suffers from a real bad depressive episodes. One thing her therapist suggest she does something, simple as a walk. But no she doesn't. She basically watch life goes by. Regis seem to be doing ok, we went and work crafts yesterday. He did a model and finished up my tarot card, which I am coloring.

Murphy and I went to dump haul some brush and three cans of garbage. Monday the pick up goes in to shop to get fix. That why we want to make dump run.

Smoke finely came in. This is our sun rise a little after seven in morning. And looks like no rain in near future. But usual smoke is here before September.

It been ages since I had a grill cheese sandwich with tomatoes soup. I have issue with diary and I took a pill to help me digest the diary. I rarely have milk product but I had increment for such a dish.

Today Is Thursday September 10 2020, This Is What Happen

Drawing a blank what I should be posting about. Pretty much the same routine. Work and come home and do little bit of my crafts. But I am doing. Statement time...I just don't get people who just watch the world go by. It would drive me dingy.

I was asked about fire near where my son lives in SOUTHWEST OREGON We're up here in North Idaho. About 680 miles (1,100 km) I understand it out or might be smoldering. There all fine.

I believe I figured how much strips I need for the postage stamp lap quilt I am doing. I came up figure of 240. I guess time will tell. But all my projects are slow.

After work Hubby and I went and fixed a fence that deer damage, it to protect maple tree

Today Is Tuesday September 8 2020, This Is What Happen

Worked Yesterday and took today off. Will finish my work week off next three days. Murphy and I went to town and picked up grub and other supplies. I figure either Saturday or Sunday we will have to go back in. Monday the 14th the pick up goes into the shop. My car is toast.

Well before we went into to town, Hubby and I did up some dishes by hand. We have dishwasher, but quite a few large pieces. When I was growing up usual I did dinner clean up, meaning washing all dishes, put them away, wiping down counters and what every,  and last thing was sweep the floor. My mom did the breakfast and lunch dishes, see I never came home to pile of dirty dishes from school. But there was time I wish had a sibling to share the dishes with, one would wash and the other would raise. Then one of us would wipe down the counters as the other sweep the floor. After sharing dishes with my husband I can see how this could run into an issue. Maybe it was 10 minutes he put on "Rush Limbaugh" and I was ready to dunk his head in soapy water. Don't worry I voice my opinion. His apply was one needs to know their enemy.

Yesterday I showed the crochet rag rug I did. I thought and it just thought. It would be cool or interesting to make larger crochet rag rug to put under the dinning room table. But I believe the hardest part would be keeping it from curling up. But I have other projects is higher priority.

Got some more fabrics cut in to strips, for my version of postages stamp quilt. The main colors are going to be primary colors. But I believe I will work in these greens. I am hoping to start sewing my strips together end of September of first part of October. Work and other things in life seems to make thing not go at the rate I want them to.

Only one piece of hard candy yesterday. Did my Tuesday weigh in as I was still going to T.O.P.S and reporting my numbers. Up less then a pound. For some reason my left hip is giving me trouble.

There plenty of fire around here and as for my area we still haven't had any effects from it. Sawyer is mainly an aviation inspector. Now they planes are mainly be use for fire fighting. He works out of Ashland Oregon airport and lives in Medford. Here is what going on SOUTHWEST OREGON

Confession time...it hard to stay on topic doing a video. Planning to do four video this month. So now I have one down, and actual I do enjoy making them. Don't tell anyone but I like blogging better. Maybe because I been doing it long. So here in my VIDEO

Woke up to massive wind gust and actual not much damage in my area. I understand other area lost power. Quite a few fires around this area. Only slightly smokey.

Finished up cutting the solid blue fabric into strips. Taking tomorrow off and hopeful I can get some of printed blue fabric cut into strips.

Today Is Sunday September 9 2020, This Is What Happen

Thought I took a snapshot of rough draft of little spot down Myrtle Creek canyon. The moon sat fairly late. I tried to get a picture of geese flying by. Didn't happen.

This is what I am trying to draw. Having trouble with the DEVIL CLUB it plant right in front of big rocks. The leaves look like giant maple leaves and they set on stock like flat dinner plates, sort of hard to get angle. But Murphy and I enjoyed our day down there. I also worked on my other drawing of my six of pentacles. Forgot an eraser and also I just took my camera, sketchbook and pencils. When hiking I like to keep things light. As we were hiking out, it came to me. That a small backpack would be handy.

Before we went into the mountains I cut some of my blues, decided to start with my solid blues first. As for my solid blues I got majority cut.

Planning to do a youtube video tomorrow the 7th of September , on my thoughts and opinions and that's all it is. Oh I will be doing it on basic income. Plus I will show the crochet rag rug I finished. It going to be used for showers.

Today Is Saturday September 5 2020, This Is What Happen

Hubby and I went to town this morning. Since Monday here is Labor day and they will be things closed and one will be the pharmacy. Ran into town, pickup Regis pills and head over to Chevron to fill up my car with gas it cost just under $20 for about nine gallons. Then we got a few grocer and head home. Had plans to go up into the mountains later on in day. As I was making right hand turn off highway onto Pleasant Valley, that neighborhood I live in. Car died and of course no power steering. That never happened before, well we made home. Couldn't figured out, neither one of us our into mechanical stuff. Statement time...I rather put extra hour or so in at work, and be able to take the vehicles into shop. If it easy enough we will change the oil. So we checked the dipstick for oil, and it was dry. Strange thing about that it wasn't all that long ago since we had it serviced. So we add oil and I believe this is last trail for the car. I don't want to put all that much in. I am hoping it makes it to the election "we're living in strange times" to see what the world will be like. But in meantime I will keep my eyes open for anther rig. Our Toyota pick up for a while needs some valve cover work done on it. It been that way for a while, although not pressing to get it into mechanic. But now it time and we have appointment on the 14th.

Opinion time...I think it unhealthy mental to just to idle. So I try to keep busy with something. I've known people can handle doing nothing. It would drive me batty. Even with this pandemic the world going though and we're not getting out and around. I was listening to DEMOCRACY NOW and I thought the INTERVIEW. was pretty interesting. But about 7 minutes or so into the video. He mention about some great works that was done during someone place or chosen to be in insulations. I wonder if any great works will come out and how we will be as society, once the covid is over.

Add brown fabric to the crochet rag rug. I believe I want to go around about 6 or 8 times with brown. So next time I post it, it will be done.

Been slowly gathering up my blue fabrics. Now I been pressing them out. And hopeful I can get them cut into strips, tomorrow which will be Sunday September 6. Plain and simple I just need to face fact that I'm still in work force and if I spend let say between half hour to hour on my creative project and or will included organizing them. I should be thankful.

A little hazy from Smoke I think it coming in from Yakima. Been watching the money and there is a few items we need to get. Nothing to unpractical, since we down to two limping rigs. I hope none of my clients has any appointments out of area. I am guessing pick up will be done before end of the week of 14th. So I want to make sure when we order from Amazon we didn't forget anything. Like I said no thrills this order.

Just got out of shower. So I thought I share my day. Yesterday I post about our community is going to show PLANDEMIC if I gave the impression I will be seeing it. Statement time....I will not.

Work was pretty routine.

I did manage to get a short walk in this morning. But had a little trouble resisting cookies, although I came to my senses. I need to get batteries for my scale. It simple I need pull them out and I can check at super one store. I hardly go in there. The non mask wears seems to congregate and I need to pick up Regis pills. Usual he gets them on monday but this monday is labor day. I will grab his pills, half gallon of milk, druno, and for me it will cat treats and battery for my food scale.

I started to cut strips for what call a POSTAGE QUILT and what I understand there made from 1 inch squares. Well I'm doing mine in 2 inch square. I got my blue fabric tote and start to cut out my strips. Well I believe I got about 8 strips done. I start to think. Something isn't adding up. Well let forget the chase and get to point. I thought I need to got my strips 8.5 inches. No I need to cut them 10 inches, so I was off by 2 inches. Then also I like to figure out a quicker or let say smoother way of cutting the strips and blocks. Soon as I figure that out. I will be glad to share it.

Regis and I stop our lovely little book store. One thing I was looking at some of there coloring books. I also mention about doing a sampler quilt for my granddaughter is to toss in a few blocks of embroidery. Not sure how many. The one above is one I have. Regis picked coloring book from Alice in wonderland. I also liked the coloring book of Aesop fables. Well first I want to get postage stamp done. I did brief research on transfer the picture on to fabric.  I done it  with graphite paper and that was way before printers.  I starting to lean toward getting some type of transfer paper and iron on the designs. Ages ago I embroidery and entire day of weeks dish towel for an Aunt of mind.

Today Is Wednesday August 2 2020, This Is What Happen

Large number of people gets there gov't check either on first or third of month. Let just say the first week of each month the stores has more people. But small group of gov't checks comes week of your birthday. Murphy gets his check the fourth Wednesday his birthday is 27 of November. I will get mind the 2nd Wednesday of the month. Because where my birthday falls.

Need to...But don't. I saw sign in our local area. "PLANDEMIC" and those who choose to view it in public. Those also don't believe in science. Nothing more I can do and I have better or let say things I rather be doing. Then get myself all in to knots. I know it will be no mask function and hope someone brings the popcorn.

My car is having transmission issues. It might just be low on fluid. Just hope it low or something simple. I have anxiety about our upcoming election. I hope  we don't have to make any major purchase till after January 20 2020. I am thankful I so close to retirement. We're living in unsettling times.

Looks like I got all of the primary color and ready to move on to secondary colors. Looks like I already start a tote of green fabrics, sure there more. Never made any of my grand daughters quilts and I would look though different patterns. I know I want something fun for them. With bright cheery colors and fun prints. I thinks a SAMPLER QUILT would be more fitting.

I got back my DNA back from Ancestry. Not sure what I was expecting. I like the map they offer now. Looks like a fourth cousin in CHELTENHAM and I don't recognize anyone the surnames. It means we share a third great grand parent. So all of has 32 3rd great grandparents. Well there two more cousin 4th cousin I have around Great Britain. Later this month I will tell you more about my across pond cousins.

August Report 2020, This Is What Happen

To me once August is over it time to wind up summer and get out harvest party stuff. Since covid and all stuff, not much party been going on.

As for craft I start a crochet rag rug. Got the blue in and rolled up some brown. Most of my rag rugs are from old sheets. Once in while I will do them out of regular cotton fabric. But it costly.

About the third week in month I feel flat on my face when comes to drop some weight. By end of September I had ideal being under 200 pounds. I doubt I will make it and guess I should be around 203 to 201.

Got all my. Maybe all isn't a good word. I got my scapes primary color sorted, pressed, and neatly put in a tote. Now on to my secondary colors. If I did this pretty much for 15 to 30 minutes daily I would pretty much have my fabrics in order. I got a few things taken to thrift store also.

I discovered a quilter FREDDY MORAN I like the whimsical look of her quilt.

There was a few hot days in August but toward end notice few leaves drifting toward goldish color. Plus I found my rocks and charms. See what happen when you go through all of your purses.

PERSONALITY INSIGHT let see what it says...You are inner-directed and somewhat indirect.

You are philosophical: you are open to and intrigued by new ideas and love to explore them. You are independent: you have a strong desire to have time to yourself. And you are authority-challenging: you prefer to challenge authority and traditional values to help bring about positive changes.

You are motivated to seek out experiences that provide a strong feeling of organization.

You are relatively unconcerned with both achieving success and tradition. You make decisions with little regard for how they show off your talents. And you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.

Now my three thoughts on different things that came up...Prone to worry at 36% well I never looked myself as worries. If or I tend to worry if things aren't up to date. Confession time...Then on the other hand I am horrible at my paperwork. I just need to do it. Trust is number 2 and that 42% and I thought it would be up in 60% range. I also felt like I am a trustworthy person and I trust other people. But I sure don't have my head stuck in sand. I know there not so nice people. Number 3 and last one is closeness at 16% Now I might sound a little like hypocrite. I have trouble expressing myself and there been time I did and was stab in back and made a fool of. So I guess I do have trust issue. I look as trust as physical thing...example If I said I will bring twenty dollars on certain day. I would make sure I was there with the twenty spot. If something odd came up and couldn't make it. I would then get hold of you and make other plans. So one reason I blog and do creativity art to express myself.
