This Is Cheaper Then Having A Therapist

It seem we're almost to the stag in life we can open our month and say aauh and have a computer. Give us a physical.
Our Safeway pharmacy.
I've notice more people was using it when they had a blood pressure cuff. Now I people just don't want to sit and monkey with the new fancy machine.

Well now IBM WATSON can pretty much give you a complete mental check up. To see if your few screws loose.
I guess some employers are using this to see if your fit into there firm or not.
I know in my line of work, in home care as long as you can past a back ground check, no felony, have vehicle insurance, and current driver license your good to go.

At the end of this post I will let you know what Watson said about me.

My client Carrie is having hip surgery in Courd' Alene. So I nee do get up around 2:30 or 3:00 in morning.
Check in time is 6: 30 also in morning.
So today I went help her prep for the surgery.
My hours should increase. But by how much is anyone guess.

I got more of the book cases cleaned off. A few more items to take care of on the twin bed. Then I'm moving on to either the basement pantry or under the stair well.
I know there ceramic supplies under the stairs. But what is what I'm clueless, and continuation items could be questionable.
Now in the pantry I been in there more. I know there Tupperware and items I haven't used in ages. It will either go to the thrift store or to yard sale pile.
Maybe 2 or 3 years ago I went though the pantry.
It sure wouldn't hurt. I know I can find anther 2 to 3 boxes, whiskey size ones. Of items I could get rid of.

Still a blogger fan. I do other social media site. But I been with blogger since 2005. I take part in other social media.
But I seem to visit or feel less strain with blogger.
Just set up a account with G+.
Not counting blogger. I only link my blog post with three other social media sites. I belive there more to life then computers.

As family history or genealogy. I been working on my Sutter line. Any info I try to look up I usual goes to JOHN SUTTER Of Sutter mill. The place they discovered gold around the bay area.
But my Sutter family mostly end up in the Midwest and came out of GRAUBUNDEN
I want to know how far I been walking. It been a while since I used my tracker necklace. Yesterday I walked 3,245 step. It tells me I need to wake up and move more.
No wonder I'm not loosing weight.
Today I took 4,611 steps.
Eating went ok. My naughty food was once again .25¢ ice cream cone.

Took a little walk around Carrie neighbor hood today. All photos is from my walk and even climb a bit of hill.

Well this is what my MY BLUE PRINT personality is, below

You are sentimental, unpretentious and can be perceived as shortsighted.
You are empathetic: you feel what others feel and are compassionate towards them. You are organized: you feel a strong need for structure in your life. And you are down-to-earth: you prefer facts over fantasy.
Your choices are driven by a desire for well-being.
You are relatively unconcerned with achieving success: you make decisions with little regard for how they show off your talents. You consider helping others to guide a large part of what you do: you think it is important to take care of the people around you.

Life Stuck In a Time Capsule

Pretty much ready to move my sewing machine stand up in smaller room. Less and less odds and ends I need to figure what to do with.

I have to say at times I get some what discourage on the pace of my life. I've post about putting in a ceramic shop.
But it looks like it won't happen to I'm 60 years old. 4 years down the road.
There so much to be done to set up a ceramic studio in our basement. If I work everyday at it, which I won't.
It a lease a 4 year project.
Once I turn 60. If Carrie is still here. I believe I will put in a lease 12 to 16 hours a week that I would earn $120 to $200 a week.
But maybe by then we will have some type of raise. Haven't seen a raise in 3 years.

I won't be going into town tomorrow until my pay check comes in the afternoon. This time I will have a transit check of $17.00 to deposit or cash.
I went over to my Aunt Eve. Her and I have some what a strange relationship. But one thing when it comes to gathers. I don't like to see anyone left out.
Molly is having her baby shower. And I didn't want anyone feel left out or drive down a lone.
So I went over and talk to my Aunt Eve to make sure everything could possible work out.

The end of January I have 3 Aunt Birthday. Penny who just turn 88, Eve who just turn 86, and I believe Aunt Bea just turn 85.
At the end of January they all get together and sooner or later they get on each other nerve and start to bicker.
Basic sibling rival.
So I believe Aunt Penny is heading back to HAVRE MONTANA some time this week.

Eating been more in control. Been doing floor exercise. My hip and shoulder been giving me issues.
So Tuesday I'll weigh in and with my finger cross. I should be down.
I can talk to my cousin Rita and see if she still is planning to come. And see who will be riding with her.
Oh I wish I can blink every so often and drop 3 to 12 pounds. I'm pretty sure I wouldn't want to blink and be at perfect tone either.
I believe I could handle it.

It Should Be Simple As Falling Off A Log

As some one who does in home care here in Idaho we get paid twenty five cents a mile. For non emergency transit  My client Carrie has hip surgery this coming Monday and some follow up appointments.
It all depends who you get on the other end of the phone. This was my smooth transaction of mileage reimbursement.
I have to wonder about some people.
But I can't say getting her walker did go as smooth.
The doctor who is in Post Fall said she need a walker. And she has a old one what was her Father in laws.
Not sure if this is type she needs or not.
Talking about Government waste and bull. (Bureaucracy)
Found out that a doctor can't write an Rx for a walker, just with a phone call. But has to see the client in person. She make appointment and see the doctor.
Explain to her doctor why she needs a walker.
The doctor tells her to call the doctor who doing the hip surgery. And that doctor to fax  her local pharmacy in Bonners Ferry, which does handle any type of mobility equipment.
But possible a drug store in Sandpoint can handle it.
So hopeful when I bring her home from the surgery that I can swing by and pick up the walker.

I sure wouldn't say private health care insurance is anything great. Not sure how well the AFFORDABLE CARE ACT is doing.
Idaho never join or did the MEDICAID EXPANSION and set up there own health exchange. Not sure what if any Idaho companies have to provide health insurance for there employees.
I pay $85 a month and receive a subsidize  of about $315. But I have a $5,000 deductible, and when I meet my $5,000 deductible. My insurance will only pick up 70% then and I'm responsible for 30%
My medical cost, if I'm lucky runs $500 a year.
So right now I'm tossing $85 down drain. It might sound great if I had a major injury or illness. But in all honesty we still would end up going bankruptcy.

Don't think I told Murphette needs to move again. Sound a little fishy. One lady let her stay rent free but she need to pay the electrical.
The place doesn't have water and lady who own place can't afford to get the leak fix.
Don't know what that has to do with renting a place.
I know some one ages ago renting a cabin without any electric, water, and wood heat. I believe they paid around $300 a month.
This place in winter no one hardly plowed the roads and you better be stocked up for the winter.
It would be so simple to add some income. She and this guy Clovis lived together for close to 17 years.
She took a loan up to fix his house. Because his two kids was coming over from the coast to live with them.
When she took out the loan she was working in accounting department at the casino. And later on her income drop because she end up on disability.
And is still paying on it.
Tell you one thing I wouldn't be paying some rent on ex never married to and wasn't living at that residents.
Unless there was court order and if I got a court order. Then I would check in going bankruptcy.

It been raining last few days and haven't had a chance to take any walks. Yesterday I took Regis to the pain clinic in Sandpoint.
Usual LaWalla takes him, that's his main caregiver. But she had to meet the manger of some low income apartments in Troy.
Not sure how it went. Talk to her briefly and she has the flu.

Stop by and see Alice and she was trying to figure out her bills. She made the comment I make a good income and I should be living comfortable, and I struggle every month.

After My Trip

Took Carrie to her orthopedic doctor. And she got chewed out by the doctor for taking to many pain pills (Narcotic) he compare them to legal heroin.
She take both Oxycontin and hydrocodone. Plus other so call pain pill and what I consider a downers. Lycra and Transdone.
Well her  muscle some how became attach from the bone.
The first she goes into operation, she will only be there for day, no over night stuff.

I took a small lunch for her and I hard boil egg, split can of kipper snacks, and string cheese. She brought the treats.
It seem she likes to nipple on candy as we're going to medical appointments.
I have to say the bacon cheddar cheese puff like things, was pretty dam good. I hardly buy chips, a lease I can say I got that going for me.
I had some plain yogurt add some apricots. A big fan of cots.

On the way back we return some of the morphine pills to the pain clinic. They put her back on Oxyes.

Last few days I been doing the stretches out of my last T.O.P.S magazine.
Not sure if it cause the pain in my hip or not. My left leg feel like it dangling from the hip socket. I bought some ZIM'S MAX FREEZE although I got it from WINCO and it was lower in price.

After my trip I stop in at A LITTLE COMFORT QUILTING and got a half a yard of cotton fabric. It will be use for my next rag rug.
So this rag rug will be browns, golds, greens, and reds.
Not sure if I'll just put this in the gold section of rag rug or split it between the brown and gold.
Even look for a few minute around for possible fabric for a baby quilt.
Which I will start once I get the small bed room set up, only a little bit to go.

Some Thought

Don't know why I didn't post yesterday, and I don't have to post on a daily. Thinking about deactivate my facebook account for a while.
So much bull shit drama.

I might as well come clean. Aunt Eve had some relatives over so we could eat some of Uncle Melvin birthday cake from last November.
It was place in Aunt Eve Freezer, nothing wrong with it.
I believe there was 14 there.

Manu who would be a first cousin has slightly creep me out. All though not as bad as Jon who lives in Deep Creek trailer park.
But Manu wife Rachel who have a lot better vibe. Anyhow she brought a health version of Apple Crisp which was good.
But I know I've blog and like any other members in our family. Don't like to try and anything different or step out of there little comfort zone.
I thought it was good.
Her diet is some what limited because of MRSA

I thought I would have more time to post on daily going on. End up going to work. Carrie hip was bothering her. So took her to the pain clinic in Sandpoint.
So off to Courd"Alene to see a Orthopedic specialist.
Need to get up at 4:30 in morning.

Little Step Is a Given

Doesn't look like I have much done. Been slowly turning the small bedroom into a sewing room. I know it over half done.
Got the bigger bulk of it done.
At present time I'm working on the little bits of odds and ends. Trying to figure were it should go. I was planning to sell the book case. But I don't believe I could sell it at the spring yard sale. If I sold then I believe I could end up with trouble of items on it.
So fall yard sale might be a better time.
I can tell you of one thing I have four fans, and want to put two of them in yard sale.

Also went though the bottom of the linen closet. Found a few pairs of shoes. Which was to tight for me.
My mom had skinny feet. She wore a 9 1/2 double A.
Me since I put on weight my feet got wider,. Before that depending on shoe I would wear a B or C width.
Since the weather been crappy I been on tread mill for my walking time. It been snowing but nothing like the East coast. The roads here is slushy or slippery.

. Some things I'm not sure where to put them. Or I can see a future for them. This my keep pile. Even got some of my sons toys.
Which the grand kids can use when they visit.
Also got some of Sawyer school work. I need to send anther bunch of it down to Medford Oregon.
Eating went well today.
Snack consist of peanuts, plain popcorn, and blueberry yogurt.
Breakfast potatoes and eggs.
Lunch bean soup form yesterday. Most soup are better the second heating.
Dinner Spaghetti didn't have any noodles. So we use a spaghetti squash for the noodles, and pea and pods was our dinner veggie.
]
Don't think much more will come out of the small bedroom to be put in the yard sale pile. Hopeful I'll have time to go though anther area in our home. But I'm not sure what area will be next.
I can tell you one thing the air conditioner won't be put in the yard sale.
Murphy back is still giving him trouble and he been doing his exercise. He should go have a M.R.I. But we still slight under $500 still on his colonoscopy.
Next pay check which will be Murphy will send the doctor his fee of $50.
Still waiting for the new lab bill. The first one they forgot to bill medicaid and it was $150 dollars. Hopeful it around $30.
We didn't get a supplement. The ones we could afford didn't cover anything until you met a high deductible.
The ones that didn't have a low deductible and high premiums we can't do that either.
What my Aunt Eve pays for her medicare and supplement insurance she still pays $600 a month.
We will have his colonsphy paid off before the end or before April 30. And sure would like to a lease have a spring yard sale before that.

Food Doesn't Go Into One Mouth After 7 PM

I've been getting in a walk daily, although not long or far. Thursday I took Carrie to her doctor appointment here in Bonners Ferry.
So I walk a little around the area, biggest work out was walking up hill.
This is the very first hospital in Bonnners Ferry.
I been doing real good on eating. Carrie used RICHARD SIMMONS program to loose weight. One doesn't HEAR about Richard Simmons much these days. Carrie had one of his cook book. A chicken and bean soup. Did a little changing. I like veggies in my soup. Add some shallot and tomatillo. This recipe called for package of dried ranch dressing. Which add a nice tang to it.
I believe my eating been pretty well on track. Ended up being busy so haven't had the chance to record what I stuck in my mouth. I'll can honestly say I haven't had any large amount of sweet. I had good size bit of my husband sweet roll.

The other day some one blame President Obama for taking start to take medicare out of our paycheck, and it part of Obama Care.
According to the La Times article it been taken out since 1967
Then also most on talk radio they'll go on about Obama phone. There been a phone substitutes since 1997  although back then most people still had land lines.
But now since cell phone there willing to pay up to 250 minute and some area longer.
Which will sure cover any business you may have.

Last evening Murphy and I went over to his sister Faith and her husband Heniz and played PINOCHLE. Well they won both games.
She cooked us a wonderful meal.
Couple of things I want to know about the rules about nine,,,five nine and no melt...and six nine and melt you could ask for a re-deal well it not in the rules.
Idaho is mention and might been the only place that came up with the ideal of shooting the moon.
I still like playing this CARD GAME

Some People Relatives, Like Mine

Went over and saw my Aunt Eve. She still behaves like my father. Those two are peas in a pod. Time I wonder if I wonder as time went buy. If I could every got a long with my dad. The more I see my Aunt behavior. I have to say "I have my doubts"
She had some info on the "Shirley" line of the family. My mom's mom side.
Both her and my dad are narrow minded people. Basically bigots. Don't recall what she all said I pretty much let it go though one ear out the other one.
She always saying "God isn't her money" hell some how she sold her trailers and got them back and end up paying the back property tax, and grumbles she had to pay I believe it was $2,000, that amount is a little over 20% of her monthly income.
Question time how can some people be so narrow minded and heart.

Didn't do that much Genealogy. But wondering if I could quickly find a "Kunkle" connection with "Shirley"
I was told my Great Grand dad Charles mother died in childbirth and took the name of Shirley. And his name was "Kunkle"
Well I do have some DNA connection in my line. How I don't know.
What I found that Charles was born to a John and Hannah "Ross" Shirley, and has a bunch of siblings.
Got a small walk in a little more then yesterday. Tracking though the snow is a work out in it self. As for the sweet had some fudge and notice after 3 very small pieces and notice I was eating and quite.
Food so far so good. Waiting for the water to boil on stove. I believe we're having rice for dinner. Along with chicken, and green beans.
Lunch was a skimpy cheese burger, and cottage cheese with fruit cocktail for a snack.
Been doing a little better with water.
Breakfast pancake and bacon.
Snack if needed will be popcorn plain, and maybe some cheerios.

Some photos on my walk around the place. Finley got some batteries in my camera.

Not Saying Great Things

These are a photo of my 2nd great grand parents. His name was Levi Milo Brunson and his wife was Mary Harriet Ford. As far as I can find out they had three childern William, Cynthia (my great grand ma) and Minnie, who married his sister step brother Lewis.
As I set before I had my DNA done and I can't yet connect it to this Ford. But I can connect to her mother Cynthia Bildeback.
The question now was Mary father someone else then what is on her birth certificate. Or should the question be was Cindy B rumpling around with some one else.
Hopeful when my second cousin Litzy has her DNA done it will shine some light on the subject.

Weight in at T.O.P.S and up a half of pound. Well there was only seven people at our meeting. We lost as a group.
Not sure if it going to continue on. But we decided for a week, sort of like a promise. Some made a promise not eating after seven, and a few more water, no chips, no sweet.
Anther lady actual my cousin Rita and I promise to walk.
If we make it we put a quarter in the pot and if we don't we put in two quarters in pot.
We trying to raise money for us to got to our state program, which will be in Courd'Alene this coming June.
One of the lady who lost only eats sweets one day a week. I'm going to give it a try. Hopefull I can stay on track. It seems my clients love the sugary stuff.

Breakfast consist of Steel cut oats, raisin and banana. Sprinkle a little brown sugar on it.
Lunch a chicken sandwich, and cottage cheese with fruit.
Dinner pull pork sandwich and kale.
Now since I'm being honest what I'm eating I need to add the snacks. Popcorn with butter, small bowl of cheerios, taffy, and red velvet cake.

I came home from T.O.P.S and end up slighting in ditch. I got my self stuck and figure how to get un-stuck.
Told Murphy if he pulled a certain way my front end would pop out of the ditch, and I was right.

Did walk around the house doesn't sound like much. But with the soggy snow it took a little more effect.

A Little More A Little Better

Had to call Qunella and cancel our shopping trip to Sandpoint, for Wednesday. We just don't have the funds to do any extra shopping.

As for eating everything went ok. Except I stop in at Super One and had a twenty five cent cone. For breakfast I had slice of cold pizza
Lunch did my four items which seem to be right for me. Kipper snacks, banana, yogurt, and hazelnuts.
Dinner it was roast pork, potato with blue cheese dressing and beets.
On the way home Carrie gave me piece of MARY JANE candy

Well her and I went to local pain clinic. We stop at dollar store and she also pick up bag of CIRCUS PEANUTS, which I like one or two of them. A little to sweet for me.

Pasty and she has gripping that every thing was close down because of Martin Luther King day.
She admits she prejudice and she says "I don't know why anyone want to celebrate a Niger birthday" Oh I haven't every seen her act in prejudice way.
Found out her dad was part of KKK. Or lease what she says.

Me personal because of my dad prejudice and narrow minded. I pretty much went the opposite way. I recall my dad having a discussion on race. I recall saying. "All people bleeds red, doesn't matter the race, including blacks"
Hell he even grip about the Italians.
I found out though my DNA I have two percent Italian/Greek in me. Not sure what side it came from. But if I was going to guess it would be his side.
They have olive skin and dark hair. As I do.
He also was big fan of BARRY GOLDWATER and listen to WILLIAM F BUCKLEY JR.

But I have to say toward end of his life he got less narrow minded.

I mange to get in a walk. Went up the road sort of behind the Restorium.a slight hill. walk pass Jeff mom's place, who passed.
Notice the place was up for sale.

I got some more items done in the smaller bedroom. And started to go though my tops in Murphy and my bed room.
I'm taking them to the Hope House.
I have horrible time fitting tops. There either to big in shoulder or I can't bottom them. I'm a freak I have narrow shoulders and big boobs. I take an H cup.

Well I step on the scale at T.O.P.S and at home I been around 215. I should be down from my last weigh in.

Today I've Seen Some Head Way

Went though more items in the small bedroom. Add things to the yard sale and keep pile. Plus got more Christmas items put away.
Found a box to put it in. I still need to get a tote for one. But that on the back burner for a while. Need to get a few bills paid off, Murphy hospital and the credit card.
None really all that bad.
Still need to put the rotating candle thing up.

Even clean out the drawer were we keep the dish cloth and towels. Got them all wash up. Few of them end up in the rag bag. The ones I don't care for, I'll give to Regis when I go to work tomorrow.
Found a key to our pick up and sort out things.
Still would like to find a better way of storing my writing items. Pens and pencils.

No candy but and extra piece of pizza. I usual have 2 slice, and eat the rest for Breakfast.
Lunch was again was open face chili burger.
Breakfast was potatoes, sausage, and cheese. Oh I forgot slice of toast.
A little later on I will share some hazelnuts and plain pop corn with my husband.

I'm posting this a little earlier. I want to watch the democrat debates. I want to hear Bernie Ideal on his ONE PAYER SYSTEM
At this time I just pay under $85 a month for my ACA (Affordable Care Act) not complaining. But some other tax payer is making up my subsidize of just around of $380
My co pay is $40 I believe, and deducible is $5,000.
I've never came close of having a medical bill like that.
So in nut shell if I had to pay any large medical bills. We would have no other choice and file bankruptcy.
I believe I would rather pay into a one payer system.

Hubby calling.

Can't Get It Straight

Been doing some research on the McCalmant, and there some wabbling about Robert McCalmant. Where in Pennsylvania was he born. and did he actual serve in the civil war, on the union side. He was born 1811, and during the war he would of been in his 50's
Last time I can find any paper trail for him is a 1895 Iowa state census, and his him listed living in Carson Iowa. And what other said he died in 1896 in Harrisburg Nebraska.
Well I might move on to the Ford and the Brunson side, in-laws of the McCalmant.

As for eating I did ok. I seam to use the term "ok" I know there room for improvement in my health habits.
I was shopping at Super one and they were giving pieces of pie away and of carouse I had to have 2 pieces.
The type doesn't matter.
Breakfast I started with french toast and sausage patty.
Lunch was open face chili burger.
Dinner was chicken, rice, and carrots.
Popcorn and pure fruit bar was my other snack. I better also list the piece of toast I had with butter.

I want to go and see the local human right art show. But I went in town earlier and had my hair cut. It cost me $20 and I gave her a $5.00 tip.
It been snowing most of the day, lightly and it wasn't piled up. Snow that is.

Had to a little juggling with our bill paying. I thought Murphy check was coming next Wednesday. His come on the 4th Wednesday.
We have some medical bills to pay that medicare didn't pick up. Not much, around $500. But $500 can make a different in some people lives.
My pay check was $456 and I'll make four payment to the hospital of over $100. But I had to leave out the doctor on this round of payments. His was only $50 medicare picked up the rest of it. But I will pay him when Murphy social security comes in
I'll put a payment of $90 on the credit card. which takes a good size of hunk out of it. and then we have the water bill of $41.
The rest is to live on.
Murphy Medicare is a lot better then my subsidize private insurance.

As for what I'm doing about work. I don't think anyone knows. LaWalla is waiting to see what benefit she getting from Montana.
Most benefits been cut to a weaken shoe string. And I could complete understand why she doesn't want to drive from Troy over to Bonners Ferry.
But a lot of people drives it.
Both Murphette and Pasty has an interview with the medicaid nurse on the 11th of Feb. I just want about a 30 hour work week.
I'm happy with Carrie, and she now has 17.25 hours. possible more once she has hip surgery
There no sense in worrying about something may or may not happen. Confession time...I'm worried about LaWalla quieting and we sign up all these people with in-home care, and I know I couldn't handle it all my self.
Well if it gets to much I have an ideal stored in my hat.
If LaWalla drops out. I might see if Murphette daughter Annie want to take some of the hours. She expecting number two child end of May.
But who knows about life, and there no need to hang my self.

Not Sure What She Will Be Doing

My friend LaWalla is moving over to Troy Mt. Right now she lived just across the state line, and drives into Bonners Ferry and take care of Regis.
Once she move into her new place she will have to drive 35 miles one way. Now I would guess she only drive about 20 miles
The drive is tearing her car apart. I believe she only in debt for about $6000. But she has some on going health issue and the cost burden her.
Her mom just past and there is some inheritance. But the family don't get along. Could have some drama.
Not sure what her cost will be or what sort of benefit she will be getting over in Montana.
She line up anther lady, Pasty to get in home care. which in mid Feb she will have the medicaid nurse come out.
Also Murphette is trying to get on. Not sure where the paper work is, on that.
Plus Carrie will have surgery. The doctor want to do some repair on the tendon in her right hip. So my hours will increase. By how much it any ones guess.
So LaWalla said she wouldn't leave me high and dry.
But what I see and hear about Montana it no better then Idaho.  A lease they have a state wage of $8.05 and hour. Better then Idaho.

I know we could use anther 10 hours. Which would put me up at a 30 hour week. Then if something happen to Murphy, not saying.
I would be able to stay in my home.
I wouldn't get his or my social security until I was 60 something, and I won't be 60 for anther 4 years.

Compare to some of the people I work for these in present time isn't all that bad.

I did get a short walk in today, up a small hill over on the north side. Finding a place where there no ice is quite the thing.
Eating a little bit got out of control. Both of my client have to many sweets.
Home wasn't all that bad.

To be honest with the world. I would rather do just Carrie and I would have time for my ceramics. But the reality is that we need about $1915.00 a month.
Wouldn't say we would be living high on the hog but there some breathing room.

Mange To Get In Some Stairs Climbing

Carrie in last two days, and same routine for tomorrow she has quite a few doctor appointment.
So when she was in counseling and took a short walk around the area. Never realized there was some homes below the rock cut, heading to local hospital in Bonners Ferry.

Today she went and had and MRI in Courd Alene and since it was a sloppy and slush. I decided for exercise to climb the stairs, and I was feeling it in my legs.

Not sure what kind of walking I will get in when we go to Sandpoint.

As for food I've done real good. I took a tuna fish sandwich with a little bit of pickle and onion add to the mix, yogurt, dates, and orange.
Four items seams to be a right amount for lunch. I took some extra food and shared them with Carrie.
Confession time...I feel guilty when I eat in front of anther person. So when my client or I'm in there home and none of them would have trouble me taking a break and having a bit to eat.
But my mom for some reason taught me it was rude to eat in front of anther person. And she also taught me if some one was kind enough to offer you to put your feet under there dinning room table. You always used your manners, and offer to help.

Dinner I know we having chicken and not sure what else.

Bought a few items at dollar store and WINCO. Not much all was under $15. I sure wish they had a winco closer. I don't see Bonners Ferry having one. But Sandpoint would by a great place. Anyhow they pay a FAIR WAGE, and have benefits.
When I'm south I try to stop in and get few items.
Still try to avoid Walmart and Dollar store. But still end up buying a few items here and there.

Yesterday I believe it was that President Obama gave his last state of union address, and I got a political survey usual here in Idaho the ones I get is far right. When they call me, I wonder if they just dial the wrong number.
This time the question was leaning toward the right.

In his state of the union our president mention how our country was divide and he felt bad that it was so polarized between conservatism and liberalism.
And even at times the two have things in common.

I know I want BERNIE and lease likely candidate would be TED  for our next President.

Move on to anther set of 2nd great grand parents. Robert and Catherine (Pealer) McCalmant. He was from Warren County Pennsylvania. Not sure where is from.
Both was born in the early 1800's and died in there mid 80's
Not much known about them. A lot of un answer questions. Like where were they from 1890 to 1896.
It said he serve in the civil war and he would of been in his mid 50's.
I could believe that his son's served in the civil war.
One thing I know that his dad was born in Antrim County Ireland.

Few Scratches In Life

Still doing a little bit of genealogy work on my dad mothers side. This guy here is my 2nd great grand father Russel Trefry. I was told that the Trefry was Indian. By my DNA results there no Indian blood in me.
There from England and branch of the CORNISH people.
This guy and his wife Debbie end up having 12 children and one was my great grand ma Emma.
Russel and his wife both born in Nova Scotia and move to Michigan farm the land. Both are buried in Michigan.

Parked in the JW parking lot and did a very short walk. The road are iffy. With crappy insurance I have. I call it two broken leg insurance. My luck if I fell I would just break my arm and it would come out of my pocket.
One thing I'm clueless is price of grains. Looks like half of these silo is in city of Bonners Ferry and half are on out side of city.
Had plan to get ready to send off two package today, and didn't accomplish it. One was going to my kids in Spokane Valley.
A few items for my grand child.
The ideal I had was to get two padded large envelopes. Guess what I forgot to pick them up, and as I was driving home. I said "Oh shit I was going to get them at the post office" and I was in downtown.
I sign up for a secret sister and seem like I can't get my act together and send off her package.

My walk was just pass the hospital looking over part of the valley toward the river. The rock formation is what the local Indians called "Ambush rock"

I did work a little this early afternoon, some light house work and got transit for my client Carrie this week,
She has appointment for both Wednesday and Thursday.

I did a little more work in the small bed room. add a few piece to the yard sale, found some cards and items that can be use to write to my pen pals. Which I should start doing.
Semi organize some craft magazine mostly ceramic ones.
Couple items I will be taken to the thrift store.

Murphy split up some large birch rounds, his back is sore. So I end up reranging the firewood in basement and cooking dinner. Pork chops, rice, and applesauce.

Four Place It Could End Up

Didn't Sleep well, I let my self get up set about our community being so close mind and heart. Nothing I can do about it. Every time you get up set at something, ask your self if you were to die tomorrow was it worth your time being angry"
Eating been ok, but still need to get in the habit of walking and drinking water.

Didn't want to put very little effort in finding how to lighten up my photo. It trash. Had chance to quickly go though the items that was toss on the bed. All of these items was haul out to recycle can, a few piece went in to the trash.

My mush out brain wasn't ready to go though these items. There possible four places the items in this pile could go. Trash can or the recycle. But then there the other place it could land in. Yard sale, thrift store, or to be used.
As far as I can see not much will end up in the "being used items"
Hope fully if my work day isn't overly burden, tomorrow . I can start going though it.
This pile went back on the bed.

I know during the next week or so I won't get to this small book case. For now it holding my fabrics. But there is a possibility to sort out the fabrics, after the bed is taking care of.
Then I should be able to bring up my sewing machine.

Picked up a few items at our local thrift store. Not sure what it all cost but remembering the jeans was $2.59 each.
These items will be send down to my grand daughter which is due end of March.

Did a little bit of genealogy search on my 2nd great grand father Augustus Miller. It pretty hard to track super common surname. His wife surname was Allen. There oldest child was name A.A and I'm clueless if it a male or female.
I know he was born in Vermont about 1810, and lives in Branch County Michigan starting with the 1840's census.
Hope I can learn more about this man who was my 2nd Great Grand father.

There Not Coming To Dinner

I would say majority of people in our community is uncomfortable about CHANGE. Today those who don't have trouble with refuges coming to our community, had a gathering at the Georgia Mae center in Bonners Ferrys.
I came in hour late, and miss the walk across the kootenai river bridge. And few people has standing around.
Well had chance to visit some of those who can excepted a wide view of the world.
No refuges are coming to this area. Not enough housing or the economy won't support them. My son's are economic refuges from North Idaho.

Did a change up bit for our monthly social. our spairfitera gathering this time was at HEART ROCK WINES
Always a good laugh or so. Briefly talk about Imbolc and the plans for a next general meeting. Which will be held Wednesday Jan 27th.

Our right leaf spring broke on the pick up. We fixed it North Idaho style, not quite didn't have to use duct type.
It was fixed with  molding that you place around your doors and windows. nailed and wired on. Heard that Murphy dad used an axe handle to use as a shock.

Couple of events coming to Bonners Ferry. One is celebration of Human Rights Though the Arts. Then there is a drumming circle in Sandpoint Idaho, 400 Church street... The Gardenia Center on Church Street hosts a Native American Drum Circle from 2 p.m. until 4 p.m. The circle will be drumming for peace, abundance, kindness, and the prevalence of The Good Red Road. Donations are welcome; there will be a limited number of hoop drums and shakers, so all are welcome to bring their own drum, shaker or flute. For more information, contact Jack at 208-304-9300.

Got a little more done in the small bedroom. I need a small container to put my brush on supplies I use with my acrylics paints.

Went Out and What Would You Do For Our Town

I guess most people now shop on line. I do some but I like to actual see what I'm buying. Touchy thing.
One of the building was our quality feed. I can't recall how long that been empty now. But I can recall it being a grocery store.
Not sure when it was actual built but I know it been more then 20 years ago. Rumor has it someone in California owns it.
It has two nice entrance. One with it own parking lot, and one off the side right by the city parking lot in BONNERS FERRY

This store front been off and on. There are times when a business goes in. But it doesn't stay long. Not sure what all the reason the business didn't stay. Had a few doctors in there and it seams they stayed the longest.
I've never been in this place.
It part of the old creamery building.
I an only recall two business being in there. One is a COAST TO COAST HARDWARE. Not sure how true value is connect with coast to coast.
Then a variety sore went in, called, Huckleberries. A lady who once lived in our area BOUGHT almost the entire city block. She didn't get our city hall. I know our local movie theater been empty a lease 3 years or more.
The variety store not as long.
As these stores being clear out of there inventory. It has cause a lot of debate if this would benefit our local area.
Being empty doesn't benefit anyone.

Sure sound like anther store might be closing up. A fabric store here in Bonners Ferry. Question time...I wonder how often her husband get aggravated by her starting one business and going out of it, starting up anther one.
Starting inventory isn't cheap.
She started with a ceramic shop, and I bought out her inventory. As she had shop she expand the building.
Then she did cake decoration for while out of her home.
The building stayed empty. Her husband is local funeral directed. We only have one funeral home here.
Both of them are pushing 60, close to retirement age.
Well they did some remodeling and connect part of the funeral home to the other building.
Well now she want to get rid of her fabric store, all of the inventory is 30% off. I bought a half of yard of red.
Going to do anther rag rug for Christmas white elephant exchange in 2016.
Colors I will be using is brown, gold, green, and red.
I've decided what color I'll be doing the baby quilt in beige, brown, pink, and purple.
So I'll pick up some more fabric.
I guess she will continued to do quilting with her long arm quilt machine. A lease FIVE GRAND is the cost for one these items.

Today Is Wednesday, March 27, 2024: This Is What Happened.

We got the plugs fixed in the pick-up, which cost us $261.09. The last time we did a set of plugs, it was under $80.00. But I'm glad i...
