What Prompt People

I've always been a curious George. And I decided to take part in this year POST EVERY DAY IN NOVEMBER sort of like WRITE A NOVEL IN A MONTH
Some time Blogher. In there NaBloPoMo  has writing ideal, November it will be PROMPTS, and April of 2015 it was "grow"
I know I won't do all the prompts this up coming November. I'm willing to give possible a few a try.

One thing prompt me to get back on working toward my ceramic shop. I honestly don't mind my clients now. But how medicaid is set up it actual enables a person, not to improve.
I don't want to come across as I don't have empathy for the sick, elderly, or disable. But how medicaid has in home care set up, it's a joke.
So today I took a few items to our local thrift store, Caring People For Pets thrift store.
Also got start on the smaller bed room corner. Add a few more items to my upcoming yard sale, 2016.

Murphy and I pick up a few items. I got my self a scarf so I can do my tarot on. It felt right for it. Still need to smudge it.

They fit and there nice and warm. Paid $1.99 plus sale tax.
Murphy found some curtain do hickies but there they wrong size.

Not long ago I picked up this ceramic bisque doll cat kit. Paid I believe was ninety nine cents for it. I've been search for the mold, Duncan BK 206.

Took some odds and ends of cotton yarn. Made anther crochet dish cloth. This one I change every other roll, double and triple crochet.

Not sure what going on tomorrow. But it been raining and we can real use the rain. This is rare for me to say, sense I'm not a water person. We could use a good soaking of rain. Our ground wasn't froze yet.
If it nice we will either get a load of firewood or haul post off our bench property.
But if it continue to rain. I believe I will sort though three ring notebook binders. Also can continue working on the smaller bedroom.

Rain Take a Four Hour Rest In The Evening

Children will be going door to door for Halloween. We don't get trick or treaters out here. But I always pick up a few items. Just in case they show up.
Today I drop to bags of candy at the local pet shelter. They put on a haunted house to raise money.

Well My client Carrie is determined to have her Bursitis sac remove. I haven't yet figure what it is but some people who life center around doctors.
Went and stop by Regis today. Yesterday he was at the pain clinic and it seem after a shot your a lot worst for 72 hours.
Monday he will know exactly how well they worked.
Pasty son Paul was staying with Regis for the weekend.
Pasty had a migraine and Regis send me some Ibuprofen 800 mg, take to her.

Did a little bit of cleaning in the basement. Went though some more boxes. Redid the spruce wood a bit. Trying to make room to stack more stuff for a yard sale.

This is where I'm stacking the items for the yard sale. After the yard sale this will be the area where I'll put my computer and desk.
Where the computer and desk is now it will be supplies such as decals, paints, stoppers for banks and etc. Or it will be cubby holes, so people can rent and put there projects in.

 This stuff is keepers. Some of the items I need to get to my sons. Yea I'm old softie. Projects they done when they was in school.
I can't toss it. So I'll let them do it. A few toys items for the grandchildren.
This area will be greenware or bisque.

Tomorrow which is Saturday. I'm taking the keyboards and a few other items to one of the local thrift stores. I still want to make the smaller bed room into a sewing/ craft room.
Confession time...I'm tired of having my sewing machine on the dinning room table.
So this sewing stand will be going up in stairs.

 Can't see the corner I did go though. Once the basement is ready to haul items to. The corner will be the first to go. As for the rest of it, I'm sort of stump. But I will figure it out.

Eating went ok today. Well I did have a candy bar. Breakfast and lunch a slice of pizza. Dinner left over beef stew.
Nibble on some minon gram crackers and chestnuts.

Rain came and it been raining most of the day. I got my fingers cross it will let up for a bit for Halloween evening.

Maybe If I Work At It A little Harder

Every day I'm amaze how beautiful our fall is hanging around. I know soon the color will be gone and the trees will be bare.
Even up in Mountain there still plenty of colors.

I know if I drank more water and got back into walking. The weight would come off. Breakfast was 2 piece of toast and 2 eggs. I ate lunch before I went off to work this afternoon.
Dinner it was a beef stew with veggies.
Well for other items I had chestnuts, hot fudge sunday, and gram cracker shape like Minions and place them in bowl and poured milk over them.

This morning Murphy and I went over and visit with his sister Faith.  Her and husband went back to Illinois and visit there sister Susan.
They also took a road trip down in southeast states.

 Faith was making Jewelry once again. There is a couple of local craft shows in the area. I'll propley will go and buy a few items. I like to keep my money in home town when I can.
But it getting harder and harder to. We have quite a few arty type of places. But we real need a good variety store in Bonners Ferry.
Not sure what this will come or might even decided to take it out. I'm trying to crochet with two strain of yarn.

  Almost done with my crochet dish clothes. Each of my daughter in laws will get 11 of them. All a little different. I don't believe I have a favor one.

The other day I went and picked up some ceramic pieces. Well what I can do with these piece I can fire off the colors and repaint them.
Here is strange thing. I got enough bisque around the place. the lamb is ok but I don't care much for little girl figurine.

Got Murphy to help me look though a few boxes. Now I end up with a couple of extra boxes. I have way to many and needs to be weeded down.
Quite happy I got though those boxes. Some items are keepers, off to yard sale, and some are being tossed in trash.
Well I also like the Arnel molds out house set. Actual they where one of the better sellers.

This is actual complete set. Well Arnel sold to Macky Ceramic molds. There been a lot of changes in the mold companies.

I was dreaming a bit. I would guess this church would be most expensive piece to do. If you bought the bisque from me. It would cost about $75.00 to complete I figure it would have stain glass windows, lights, and a music box.
My cheapest items would cost someone to complete fifty five cents. Which are items like thimble.

It Can't Be Far

I want to take a few photos of thing I been working on. I can tell you one thing I need is my husband possible give me in put where to put a few items.
I end up with a few extra boxes and I actual don't need that many.

Eating and drink water been a lot better. I don't know what it is but I find drinking water some what difficult for me.
I bet everyone who reads my blog gets tired of reading what I eat.
So for my snack food I had dried garbanzo beans. It real easy to do. Can of garbanzo beans drain and rinse. Place on a lightly oil pan spread out. bake at 400 for about 30 to 40 minute. Taste like corn nuts and looks like them.
Plus I ate some peanuts. Had no cookies candy or cake today.

Depends On What Empty

It been a while since I post on my blog. Today it was weigh in at my local T.O.P.S group and last two times I was up.
I been feeling a little over whelm.
Breakfast I toss five mm in my steel cut oats, and add a banana.
Lunch Murphy packed it. But I like cheese and apple together.
Dinner isn't made yet but I see I need to go back to the smaller plates.

Murphy and I went over to North Spokane and picked up some marijuana. Question time....I wonder how many people from North Idaho is going over?
But what gets to me that it always lately in the middle of the week. I would like to stop by and see Bart and Molly.

Last night our local pagan group SPAIRFITERA had there monthly gathering, We all brought our tarot cards and shared them.
So for a while in our group we're going though the entire tarot deck. five at time starting with MAJOR ARCANA.

Still slow doing my crafts and pick up in the basement.

Nineteen Twenty My Plate Is Empty

  One burrito for dinner. Lunch I decided to try GELATO at under the sun. Never had it before and it was quite tasty.
The reason I was there I went to and crochet with Cozy Crafters a local group who gets together and do crafts together.
I notice most of ladies are knitters. I start two crochet project, rag rug and dish cloth.

The lady who set across from me is making minion hat for her two grand sons. The lady who to my right was working on socks.
The lady to my left was working with bed thread but she wasn't doing much since she had her arm in sling.
My mom use to make thing like dollies with bed thread.

Sometime ago one of the gals who comes to cozy crafters and she from Ukraine she was crochet with fine beads.
I thought it was so cool and I would like to try it some time.

Both hubby and I are in quite a bit of pain. My hip and back is giving me trouble. His back and leg is giving him trouble.
We're going to try to get a load of firewood.
Not sure were we're going either 20 miles creek or trail creek area.

Sixteen Seventeen a Maid is a Waiting

Build a fire in the stove this morning. Not long ago Murphy and I build a place to keep our post. The only thing at this time I could think we might need post is for anther trills but we're in no hurry.
I'm hoping to finish this year projects, in 2016.
Have a yard sale and put deck of the sliding glass door.

A least so far today I been a where and plan what I'm going to stick in my mouth. Breakfast was a fairly large slice of pizza, pepperoni and sausage. I did some shopping at Safeway and I got a kind bar
Lunch was stew and for a three o clock snack on cinnamon roll.
Dinner which I haven't ate, but we're having pork chops, mash potatoes and some type of veggie.

Finish my week off with Regis, his sister in law Pasty was there. and we all went to two of our local thrift stores.
Well all of us bought some stuff. Mine was green fabric and some  ceramic pieces that I can re fire the paint off and do as I like.
Got a chance to sort a little more in basement. Once I sort some boxes of items, still need to take a small box to one of the local thrift store.
But went again though a plastic sack and put things in three different sacks. One for our stuff, then one for Sawyer, and one for Bart.
Bart I can just take to him, since he lives in Spokane Valley. Sawyer is in Medford Oregon, I believe I'll just mail it down to him a little at time.

Murphy and I took anther birch tree. Opinion time...I think he should take out the other clump of birch. I had bad vision if these trees are removed. I keep seeing thing like crutches and cane.
Well I has helping the tree go on the up side of a pine tree.
When falling the tree it a good ideal to have escape route out of there. Trees usual fall down hill and it best to run up hill.
Not this time I had to run down the gully, I slip and fell but tree miss me by 3 feet.

 This birch had to be pulled up in thirds. The two tops it had split top so it came up over the edge. We tried to pull the butt end up the same way.
Ended up breaking the rope.
So we had to get a chain and drag it with the pick up though the gully and by the garden.

Fifteen Sixteen Maid A Courting

It sure was rot gut beer, ICE HOUSE BEER. I had a beer after my shift at work and it did a number on my stomach.
Only had one.
The last few days I've had trouble staying focus on my diet. I know I shouldn't use the word diet to close to the word died.

Work been some what stressful in last few days. Carrie been in pain trouble with her hip and her bi polar been acting up in last while.
She promise me that she would be around Monday. So we can go to the senior center in Bonners Ferry, for lunch.

Weather still nice here in north Idaho.

Thirteen Fourteen a Maid Courting.

I was so sure I would of been down today at T.O.P.S but I gain, not much up 1.25 pounds. Lunch today was my hardest. I packed to many carbs and it mess with my blood and I felt hungry most of the day.
Plus I had a half of doughnut. Actual I keep it pretty much under control.

After T.O.P.S my cousin Rita told me about some family gathering. Her father law Melvin will be 90 the last day of November. But the Saturday before we're having a birthday party for him.
We having a gathering of my grandparents Jack and Olive (Shirley) McCalmant this summer, Father day weekend. They had 12 children, 28 grandchildren, and 51 great grand kids, and I'm clueless on the great great grand kids.
I can recall we all met at Thanksgiving since I was one of the younger grandchild of my grandparents and setting at the kids table.
My grandparents had there grand children born between 1944 to 1964.
At Thanksgiving we ate and I recall drawing names for Christmas present.
I don't know what happen. But after my grandfather died in 1975. His oldest son Glen and his entire family start not coming to reunions or family gatherings
We continued our Thanksgiving family gathering up to a few years before my grandma died, which was in 1986.
After she passed we never had a Christmas or Thanksgiving dinner.
Not sure what happen but ever family is like any community. We're all players on the world stage with things jam packed in closet and the politics runs rampage.

I didn't swear I wouldn't start anther crochet dish cloth. I start a yellow one. Our dish cloth was getting pretty rag it.
So I did a few just a short time for Murphy and I.
I start to sew the red fabric strips together and hopeful I can start crochet anther rag rug.

Eleven Twelve Dig and Delve

Once I got done eating dinner I went straight down stair. I'll be weighing at our local T.O.P.S group and I want the scale to weigh less the 211.25.
Dinner was a basic cheese burger and small amount of oven fries. Lunch still four items, radishes and apple which covered a fruit and veggies.
Also had a half of peanut butter and huckleberry jelly sandwich and cottage cheese.
Breakfast a pancake with peanut butter and jelly. and strip and half of bacon.
A few peanuts not a half a cup.

 I sure didn't want to sound like I was coming across like as I'm ANGRY ABOUT HOW MY CERAMIC SHOP WAS RAN. If I was to be angry at anyone it letting people get away with a free ride. I believe good ground rules keeps thing in line.
Since it in my home and one of us, Murphy or I is around the place. We would be happy to let someone stop in and look around at the ceramics.

As for projects. Murphy cut down 2 birch and black cherry trees. They will be made into fire wood. The cherry tree had some type of fungus and the birches need to be thin out.
Still got a few birches left to come down.
Before I went off to work I clear brush and when I got off work I haul one load of small rounds of birch in our basement.

As for my projects. I got the last ball of print fabric sewn together and roll up in a ball. Now I need to sew the red fabric together.
Got a small amount done in basement toward the ceramic shop. We haul three boxes of paper and things of that nature, from the shed out on the north bench property.
Ended up with a small box of items that will be heading to one of our local thrift store. A few boxes  that is broken down and it will be recycled, and two plastic leaf bags that can still be used.
I thought they would be a lot more loose papers to be placed in recycled. Actual there was some paper that will need to be burn or shredded up.
I place what I would be interested in keeping or possibly in a plastic garbage sack. I need to go though it again.

  I usual don't use people real name unless there passed. Bart (fake name) one of his friend he went to school had a baby girl "Ruby" (real name) and I keep hearing in my mind.

Nine Ten a Big Fat Hen

   I started to sew fabric strips together for Bart and Molly crochet rag rug. I believe it was the 2nd ball I was working on.
For some odd reason I was having trouble with my sewing machine holding a stitch. The "take up leaver" came on threaded. I haven't brought out the big swear words quite yet. I was wondering if I has going to end up buying a new machine.
Well once I found the take up leaver came  un-threaded it was good to go, once I got fixed.

I didn't have any time to work on the basement. I move some water jugs over just encase I have to rearrange some firewood that is use for making kindle.
I have three boxes of paper to go though from the old shed out on the bench. Not sure what my work schedule is like tomorrow. If it raining and I don't go to work it would be a good day to go though it.

Murphy and I clean out the chimney and haven't yet started a fire.

This afternoon it was our local "Earth Base Faith" Spairfitera coffee and chat. We meet once a month usual right before the new moon.
For some reason we lost count of moon and had it afterwards. But it seem to be a lot of joyful laughter among us all.
Statement time....I get tired of stupid people who think an earth base faith is taking part in devil worship and is out to do evil.
It the farthest thing from the truth.
Me personal I believe we are hear on earth to learn and teach. and we have a responsiblity to be STEWARDS OF THE EARTH not DOMINATE OVER THE WORLD and force people in believe in same political or religious sect.

Well I talk my self out of a candy bar. When I got done with our coffee and chat. I had to get a few items. I kept telling my self I need to go down the candy ideal and get a candy bar. I kept telling my self ok if your going to get a candy bar. Your going buy something under 1.5 ounces. I figure it would take me to long to fine it.
So I end up not buying a candy bar.
Well for a sweet I want to try one of there new hot fudge sundies, there only a $1.00.
But eating today seem to be on track. BLT sandwich, lunch a piece of toast, cold chicken leg, and salad with pomegranate dressing.
Then for dinner it was pork chop with redue Mushroom gravy, green beans, and rice. Also I consider this snack food. I stuff some peanut and dried pears in my mouth.

As for what I did in ceramic shop. I believe life is a on going lesson. A few things I would do different in my shop.
I would charge a chair and table fee. $3.00 per person which would cover coffee or tea, open instruction for projects, cleaning tool, brushes, paper products, and soaps.
Reason for the three buck charge I had people come in to my shop and never purchase a thing and sit there and drink coffee.
For the $3.00 it only good for 3 1/2 hours. I'll open three section of open class time. One night a week from 5:30 to 9:00 PM, One afternoon from 12:30 to 4:00, and then a morning section 9:30 to 1:00
If  3 or more people want to come in and work on ceramics. I will rent chair and table space for seventy five cent an hour per person.
Have cubbie hole space so people can rent them as they work on projects.
The price will range from $3.60 to $5.40 a month. This will help me keep people project straight and organize. There people who have finish piece and spend good money and never pick up there pieces. For those who don't want to rent a space they can haul there items back in forth.
Rent out paint. Lot of my paint dried out and actual ceramic paints goes a long way. So for my acrylics, underglazes, and glazes. I would charge 50% of what I charge for greenware, same price of one and two firings. If a piece of greenware ran $3.00 then I would charge a $1.50 to use the shop paints.
One needs to have bounds in life and I never had any bounds when I had my ceramic shop and there people who thought it was a free ride.

Seven Eight Lay Them Straight

 

 
Both Friday and Saturday went out to our north bench property and got 2 small loads of mix fire wood. Most of went in our basement. A small part of the load went out to the shed/barn it was on the green side. Believe it should be ready next spring.
I don't like to grip but this trip today out to get firewood didn't go all that smooth. Mostly the first half.
What start it all off I couldn't find my leather gloves, and of course I place them on the desk in our basement. When I got down with Fridays wood.
I kept trip over small stumps and snags. But the tape measure seem to giving me the most grief. We cut some fence post today also.
Well didn't matter what I did the tape measure wouldn't go back in. The brake thing wouldn't make it go in, it was stuck.
I gave it to Murphy in frustration and hit the button and the tape went in.
Between the two trips we got a half of cord of wood.

I sort though boxes and they got haul off to our local land field. Before I put in my ceramic shop. I need to clear out the clutter.
I'm looking at running my ceramic business as a part time SMALL COTTAGE BUSINESS with an LLC backing.

Been doing a little re-figuring what it will cost me to re-open a ceramic shop. One thing I did is over price and the amount of 2 by 4 I might need. I need only 20 of them. The current price for framing lumber is $2.80 each 96 inches long.
I'm now trying to figure out the measurement between my bisque and greenware shelving. I have the width which will be 2 feet and length will be 18 feet.
Then I will know how many plywood pieces I will need to get.

Pretty well know the general rule of thumb, how to price out ceramics. If a mold cost you $50.00 retail low fire ceramic greenware sales for $5.00, Stoneware the greenware will be $7.50, and porcelain will be $10.00.
If there is a some type of cut out or to add a piece it usual twenty five cents and item. Then if there is a low fire for overglazes it usual something like seventy five cent per item.
One thing I haven't figure how to price out is  OVERGLAZES. Some can be fairly expensive compare to other paints, but they go a lot farther.

My morning weigh in. I been under 212. One morning I was even at 209. When I step on the scale at my weight lost support group, T.O.P.S I want there scales to read less then 211.25
I been taking four items with me. A quart bag of peanuts and my husband and I seem to be quite satisfy by eating them.
I did have a tomato and a rice cake that taste like caramel kettle corn. Still nothing to eat after seven in the evening.

Five Six Pick Up Sticks

    I have picked up some good health habits though T.O.P.S. Well on my home scale I weighed in at 209. Below 210.
As for eating I had scrambled eggs, with pepper and one piece of link sausage all cut up and 2 slice of toast.
Lunch is always four items. Tomatoes, banana, piece of cold pork steak, and dried garbanzo beans. When I got home I had some yogurt.
Dinner spaghetti squash instead of noodles, with ground beef and regular spaghetti sauce on it. Then for a later snack I had some peanuts, and dried pears. I almost miss something, corn.

It was a work day for me. Regis in the morning. Pretty routine we went over and got his BLISTER PACKS of medication.
The bubble pack works a lot better for him. Before he would get his meds mix up.
Took Carrie to her physical therapy in Sandpoint. I went over to the Library there which is just up or down from the place.
Got the other two dvd of ALLO ALLO and some quilt books. See if I can come up with any ideals for a baby quilt.

Three Four Open the Door

   It should say "Three Four Open My Mouth" I dried some garbanzo beans, and silly me I thought I would get  few snack bags out of them.
If you haven't heard of dried garbanzo beans. It quite simple. Take can of garbanzo beans raise and drain well.
Place them on oil (Pam spray will work) cookie sheet and season the garbanzo beans as you like. Place them on cookie sheet and put them in a oven at 400 degrees. Checking every 10 minutes. When there dry there done. Got a corn nut texture to them.
A healthy snack, if you can control your portions.
Breakfast consist of two eggs, two sausage, and two pieces of toast. Lunch I will consider those dried garbanzo beans and sushi  .
A later in afternoon I had an burrito.
Dinner pork steak and using part of it for my lunch tomorrow, 4 sushi rolls, and green beans.

Quenella came and did some typing.
This is the lowest I had our checking account for a very long time, it down to One hundred and fifty two dollars.
I'll get a $100 back from Hershel that I loan him this next Wednesday the 21st and my paycheck will be here Saturday the 24th.

Started to clean the basement, wear I want to put in the ceramic shop. I thought I would have the chance to mend up some of these toys. I figure if I haven't done them by now there heading to the dump.
Confession time...I feel sad that they will be end up in dump. It like tossing part of you away. 
I know at times one needs to move on and change. Usual I say change is good.

Got plenty of empty boxes and containers. I want to take out half of these. Earlier I took out some card board.

Took a quick look in these boxes and I know there items I want to keep, other will go to trash, and some will be in my yard sale in 2016.
I got my finger crossed.
The air compressor under the chair is to my air brush. I haven't seen my air brush parts for ages.

One Two Buckle My Shoe

   I have fat feet or wide feet. Well I weigh in at 212 today at T.O.P.S I lost the most weight for the week.
Two pounds and I get my ears re-punch. I actual have pierce ear rings.
Well breakfast start out a slice of cold pizza.
I took Carrie to John Harper funeral at Mountain Spring Church. I met the wife of John Harper a few times.
And I stayed with my lunch eating plan. 4 items a salad, two pickled green beans, prunes, and a casserole protein dish, and for dessert a small slice of pie.
Confession time...I did have more then four items, I did have a small cookie like item, and also a small milky way candy bar
Then at home I had two burritos. The first one was fairly early and around six I had the other. Also some peanuts.
Nothing after seven at night.

 Been thinking how I possible want to lay out my ceramic shop. So I put it on spread sheet. The sky blue color will be a cubbie hole area. My customers will have the optional to rent a space so they can keep there projects there working on
Purple is a window and I want to put in a vent and fan, so customers can spray there sealer and not choke out any others.
Red is where the shelving for greenware and bisque will go.
All of the shelving and including the cubbie holes. Will be 2 feet wide. The shelf for the bisque and greenwear will be about 18 feet long.
lighter blue is a place to keep my wood and above the wood I want to have a six foot shelf that I can move items in an out from my kilns in the garage.
The reason I have my kiln in the garage, I believe firing glazes can have some health risk.
Yellow will be table and chair so people can work on there projects. I figure with this set up I can handle 10 people at one time.
All in all my studio will measure 14 by 20 feet.

One thing I need to do is clear stuff out the way. I clear a corner to put items that I need to yard sale or haul off to the thrift store.
One of my goals was to have a yard sale this year and I just don't see it happening. The dog "Daisy wasn't to be in the photo.
I might have to move the spruce wood around a bit. That wood is use for kindling.

Tired And Not Finished

        It was a long day at work today. This morning I went over to Regis and then just before noon I went to Carrie.
She had two appointments back to back in Sandpoint.
As she was in pool therapy I went over and checked out THE COTTAGE HOME AND GARDEN. Some one told me to check out there craft room.
I will come back at a later date when money is more available. I over spent in last week or so.

     As for eating a piece of french toast with peanut butter, and huckleberry jelly. Lunch that I pack consist of a banana, chicken leg, and kohlrabi. I like to take four items in my lunch so after Carrie appointment her and I stop in at Super one deli. I had 1/4 pound of mac and cheese. Also had there twenty five cent ice cream cone.
Dinner a a four inch square slice of pizza and nice green salad.
As when I was at Regis I had 6 pieces of candy corn.

Tuesday morning is my weigh in for T.O.P.S and we are to bring clothes fashion if we got down to our final goal weight.
I know I one thing I would want to wear is regular jeans with zipper in front.
