Rain Sure Pushes Life About

Rain rain rain please take a week vacation. Murphy and I in morning got chance to paint green. I notice quite a few dark clouds up North. As he was on the ladder getting the upper part.

So we was going to take a 10 minute break and the rain start to pour. A gully washer.

I finely got the four ornament I start back a while ago. I thought I would had my pour table going. As one can see we trying to get the end of the place painted.

These are the piece I'm going to work on next. I got out some different colors to these pieces in. I couldn't tell you how many paints I have. Let just called it a lot of paint.

All of these piece now. I have the molds to.

I cast and fired up turtle planter some time ago. Actual I like this piece. So fun to paint. Not sure how I'll be doing the turtle.

I think he would look good in some marigold and place by the corner of our driveway.

Most photo have the pilgrims in black and white, drab clothing this is not true. The pilgrim wore variety of colors to there FASHION

With the two piece I'll be doing. I can squeeze in the ornaments.

Timber Harvest.

Murphy and I have not quite five acres of timber. For some time we want to harvest our trees and sell the logs

A good percentage of our trees were mature and log price are up. But with only five acres, time one paid for transport of equipment to site it would eat up some of the profit.

So we wait until someone else next to ours was going to log.

The county said the trees to the west of us was invading the air space for air crafts. So the cost was split 3 ways to bring in the logging equipment.

We took out quite a bit. But we didn't strip everything out. Murphy and I could get one more good harvest in 25 years.

If we had to we could take off a smaller harvest.

I know there people out there is total against logging. Actual I'm an environmentalist. I believe in good stewardship is part of our duty for living on this earth.

Since part of last week photo hunt theme was selfie so close to portrait. So I decided dig though the steamer trunk to see what I could fine.

Well I found this man behind a cash register. I would guess it was Theodore Witherell. I don't know that much about him. The only thing I know he worked in a jewelry store. He was born in NewHampshire. Not sure of the year.

Some of the Witherell move from New Hampshire to Michigan in the mid 1830's. My guess he would be my great great grandfather Gilman. Brother or first cousin.

Now I put name or something on back of photo. There is photo of people long ago who I'm clueless about.

Friday it rained most of the day. Wasn't sure if my picture was going to be over rain. So I decided that I was going out at two in afternoon. And take picture of the sky.

Lucky me, there was a break in the sky for a short time.

Kindred Spirit Journal Place At Cafes

The story of KINDRED SPIRIT MAILBOX  was quite moving to me. The secret that people wrote for over a quarter of century. There confession, dreams, hopes, sadness, joy and every know human emotion one may experience in life.

Now the journal are collection at North Carolina Wilmington.  Statement time...It would be nice if the university had them publish and the sell of these book would go to local charity (food bank)

Clueless why Frank Nesmith and formal girl friend put a mailbox middle of some remote area. Confession time...Sometime my ideal and thoughts just come out of the blue.

It hit me in my soul. I know I won't get to every nook and corner of the world. Not even close.

I got a notebook, pen, and plastic sleeve....wrote on the front of sleeve....”Please write and or draw in this Kindred Spirit Journal and return it to sleeve”

When Qunella and I met for our coffee and chat. Not saying at this time, which little cafe in BONNERS FERRY  I left it at.

Next month I need to take a trip in to Sandpoint and I'm leaving a kindred journal in small cafe. After I leave it. I'll let the world know were both of them our at.

 One can keep hope or finger cross. That other will place and note book in plastic sleeve with a note book. Others can write to Kindred Spirit.

Not So Bad But Should I Be Glad

Confession time....This isn't usual my style of shopping and eating.

Murphy decided to quite smoking pot. He bought an ounce monthly. Usual cost was $150 to $250. Confession time....I would smoke if it didn't give me the munchies

It seem the entire family is all or nothing. His dad Dewayne was in to bird photography and wouldn't take picture of anything else.

Then one day he gave his camera to Earl, or his son bought his camera.

Murphy told me at one time, his family ate sourdough pancake everyday. Then one day they just didn't have it again.

Opinion time....I think there other legal drugs, opiate base is a lot more harmful.

So usual when some quite something there entire body goes though it. So are eating style is changing for the next few days.

I bought $50 worth of convenience food. Minus the laundry soap, peanut butter, milk, 3 bags of frozen veggies, bread, and butter.

As I was checking out. Confession time...I felt a bit guilty of buy all that crappy food. I know it full of salt, sugar, and fat.

Not saying if we had long hard day. I don't pick up some convenience food.

I grumble about people on SNAP (food stamp) purchasing this type of food. There been time I been send to store for a client to pick up junk food and had to use there SNAP card.

So I was so embarrass to use there card for purchasing crappy food.

Today even using cash I still wondering if some one was passing judgment...”How can this lady purchase all of that crap”

I was so glad he quite smoking cigarette ages ago. Not sure how I feel about the pot. I'll keep all of you posted.

It Would Be A Shock If Anything Got Done As Plan.

I want to get my pour table up and going. So I could empty out the old clay. I only can use it when the weather is non freezing.

If I want to use my pour table year around I need to put the pour table in the basement. I need a room about 64 to 144 square feet and descent venting system.

I'm still paint on few piece of bisque. With the ideal of having my pour table up and going I thought I could cast some more of variety of greenware

Not saying the only thing I have is Christmas Ornaments. Some how it seem like there usual getting painted.

Murphy and I finely got painting on our south side of our home. I was sort of worried we wasn't going to fine any siding to match. But our local badger building supply had some.

A few days we thought we were starting. Found out the primer was all dried up. Plus there wasn't enough of the green to start.

With new techie stuff in world now. We got chip of paint out of the trash. A lease the scrapping went good and prep work.

Anyhow we went up to Pro X and have them match up the color and had them make gallon of paint.

Some project it better to keep a bottle of something around. I'm usual the gopher. One second I was loading up a brush or a roller with primer.

Well I had one hand with brush and the hand on roller. Not paying attention I end up with dirt on brush. Crap talking about someone shitting “Green Twinkies” good ole hubby sure did.

I decided to get my bottle for people with need a attitude adjustment. Now my hubby know when we start next time around. I'm placing the bottle in shade. If he wants an happy gopher not drunk gopher he won't get the wrong attitude around me.

I guess us human can't handle smooth sailing in life.

There plenty of room to build housing around here. I don't see any house be built around here. No real wage jobs. So for now the deer have plenty of grazing room

The selfie was fairly hard to do. My first thought was to take picture of my self painting ceramic. Place the camera on table and take a picture.

Well I look like one crazy person and I'm afraid that someone from the funny farm would come and take me way. Just because of my selfie

Confession time...I don't like paying full fright for any thing. If I can get a few things free or discount. Doesn't matter the size or the value.

I have contact a few companies by e mail and ask for there product for free or discount coupon. I've ask for many items. Such as dish soap, car oil, tooth paste, sardines, flour, eggs, tooth brushes, yogurt, and etc. If you discover a new product and you might be interesting in trying it, Contact them an ask for an sample. Nothing wrong in asking for more then one. Every one in your family can sample a new treat. We all have friends and we can let our friends try the new sample.

The reason there giving you a something free is hoping for a good word on there product. Word mouth can move an items.

Take small bit of your time and give an review of there product or service. Be honest in your review. It doesn't help the business if your not truthful There no excuse being uncivilized.

Usual coupons will be e-mail or sent good ole snail mail.

Those who are members of organization may also get a discount. Such as Triple A, AARP, Military, Student, Unions, Firefighters, Police and etc.

When frequent a business ask if they give a discount to a certain business. If they say no. Talk to the management and suggest they give a discount to your organization you are a member to.

Also head over an use social media....post something like this on the page...”There a lot of people who are Triple A , could you please consider giving triple A members a discount “

Hash-tags are anther tool to get a discount. There couple of way of doing this...Go to a business and ask them to put in a product...”have you every consider offering a discount on coffee (hash-tag)

Go to your favor business and organization...”It would be helpful if you could give a discount to AARP (hashtag) members when shopping at Safeway (hashtag)

A Two Step No A Three Step

I thought I was waltzing right along in life. Some day I go though my day with to many left or rights. But a few days back I stub my toe of life a bit.

I don't know why hubby thinks there wife our just idiots. My car is having trouble accelerating. When I first start up and want to accelerate my car acts like it constipated. But once it get going it does fine. No jerking feeling at all.

Goes up the steep grades of hills just fine.

Recently we had the transmission looked over and nothing. So I took it in an electrical shop and they couldn't fine anything. Reset my computer sensor. Charged me $70.00 and everything seem to be ok for 3 weeks.

Now the car is acting like it constipated once again.

So I thought it could be a dirty air filter, some trouble in fuel line, and or the catalytic convertor is plugged.

Question time..What do you think it is?

Shock as hell. This morning my hubby decided to drive my 96 Accra. He starting to come around to my thinking. Not the transmission. But he thinking it might be something to do with the fuel or the catalytic convector.

Murphy and I start to take off more siding on south side of home. The other day we went up to Badger Building supplies. Guess what they had close enough match to our old siding.

Taking it down wasn't all that tough.

Had worries me is putting it around the gas line that goes into the house.

I 'm disappointed on how my little CANDLE FIGURINE  in came out. Actual on back side I missed a good part of it. Plus I was mixing colors and is total clueless which two colors I mixed.

So the piece got tossed in trash can.

For some reason I real like these ceramic thimble. I either have a dozen or sixteen of these. All different. I could see them as ornament hanging on tree for yule.

I just sealed it and waiting for it to dry. So I can do put some high light in it and reseal it, done.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Dusk-Round)

To be honest I knew dusk had some thing to do with sunset. So helpful google got me all straighten out about DUSK The horizon is hard to tell because of the mountain. Right now we just short of 15 hours of sunlight. I wait until what I thought was dusk and took picture of cottonwood which is kitty wampus from southwest corner of our place and cross the road.

Resent our community put in new play ground equipment. Actual it pretty snazzy. Not sure what this round thing is called.

I know it swivels. I tried although I didn't sit in it

But I understand little Earl likes it. I guess it pretty easy to make a one and half year old happy.

If It Rain How Would Life Be

I wasn't sure where I want to start my day. Murphy finished up his dental appointment. The X Rays and cleaning ran us $700. Actual I go to the local clinic and it base on your income. My cleaning ran me $80.00.

They been getting the field ready to plant. Not sure what they'll be putting in. Statement time...I'm tired of dust.

Soon as they get it planted and it comes up.

I'm going to have a yard sale from the time I clean out my shed.

Some time I can swear my counters have magnet. I haven't yet figure out why my counters get clutter. Confession..If I put my things in proper place I wouldn't be dealing with clutter.

Look like the garden is in. Now we can get back on the south side of the house. We have replace some of the siding.

Badger building place offers the siding that goes to our home. I started an herb bed but notice that side of home needed some repairs.

Once that get fix we can go back putting in an herb bed.

I got a little bit done in our closet. Toss out some whole shoes and purse.

  Short time ago I bought some shred wheat. Which my parents refer them to them as “hay bale” I knew the strawberry would be coming on.

So yesterday I got enough berries in very short distant and slice up and place them on the hay bale.

Oh it was delicious.

Twitch Of A Nose

Last fall I start to dig up a new flower bed. Which I'll call “Good Will”. I have a few bulbs actual planted in there, early spring blooms.

My thought is to put in some flower bushes and shorter flower, under 10 inches.

This bed is under the power line and it will be about 3 feet across and 20 feet long.

My friend Quenella gave me some climbing nasturtium seeds. Planted them in the southwest corner of vegetable garden.

All flower has some type of folk lore meaning and nasturtium means VICTORY BATTLE OR CONQUEST Peggy at end of the road. Gave me some dark purple iris. Add them to my “hodge podge” and “Royal Sunshine” flower bed.

Did some weeding in the hodge podge flower bed and dug up some STAR OF BETHLAHAM 

 bulbs and plan to give them away.

Will need to take more star of bethhelham out and put them in the good will flower bed.

Murphy and I did some trimming and staking up flowers. Maybe now some light can get in there.

This yellow spike flower I keep forgetting what it called. Every so often I have to chop it back or it would take over the entire flowerbed.

My Aunt Eve gave me that yellow lupine when she still was in her other home. Across the way.

It sure takes a while to build up flower bed. Sure doesn't happen with blink. It take time and money. It seem like I'm always short on something.

Oh My What A State

Idaho got some goofy Ideals. I bet other place also have goofy ideal. Since I live in Idaho and it my blog. I can post what ever.

A big thing in Idaho election was the ideal of taking over the FEDERAL LANDS by the state. Northern Candidate who ran on taking over the federal land by the state, was sure of a win.

The strange thing the state claims they could handle it better then the federal. Statement time...I don't see were the state hands there land any better then the federal does.

Actual I seen private land handle not always so good either.

Can't these idiots understand it not going to happen. They already talk to the attorney general. Using some of my tax payer money of $41,000 to hire an private attorney.

Every day well almost every day. I get answer in life I don't like. I rather be told the truth. When one lies when real can't take care of any trouble.

There been forest fires start on state land and state couldn't afford to fight them. Let them burn over to federal land and let the federal pick up the tab.

Question time...If the state actual takes over the federal land how are they going to afford any up keep?

Actual there quite a few people think privatizing everything would be the answer. Until every human was kind and trustworthy.

Sad to say a lot of people still worship the money god. They'll do anything to make a few pennies jingle in there pocket.

There people will exploit people and land. Strip every decent soul of man or land to get a head. Leave nothing un-turn finding that last piece of jingle in there pocket.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Azure-Creative)

Sure is azure scrubby. Been well used. Can't stand letting dishes to soak more then 15 minute in water. I known people who let there dishes soak over night and thought of reaching my hand in that slimming water. It totally gross.

I rather scrub a little harder then stick my hand in slimy water.

Also sponge mop I look at the same as dishes setting in water over night.

Can't say I'm over thrilled about this ceramic piece. I picked up the bisque at some second hand store. The only way I would every pick up the mold for this piece if someone else purchase the mold. I can look at the design and see it would be a pain in ass to cast.

But I had fun be creative with mixing colors

Village Invisible Gate.

My first cousin Vic and his wife Amira live next to us and they move up to Fairbanks Alaska. Rest of the time the house been rented out. HOUSING MARKET is depressed in local area. People are leaving and heading to were wages isn't slump

Only two of the renter were non law enforcement. I under stand there were a SHAKE UP  at local police department.

My Aunt Eve called and told me that the new police of chief will be our new neighbor, he from the Burley area.

I've always got a long with all neighbor even the cops.

Not sure when they will be moving in. I assume sometime over the weekend.

My Aunt Eve want us to mow the lawn. She offer us $35 bucks to mow the lawn. Well she pulled a FAST ONE 

My Aunt Eve is so hyper and arrogant.

I real have no desire to do much for my Aunt mostly work for lady. I felt like I was lied to in past and fibbing to me real bends me out of shape.

I might get snickered once but twice by the same person, forget it.

My Aunt and my dad had one thing in common both of the assume and real judgmental before they know the facts.

Statement...I find this total disgusting since I was a teenager. Actual I finding it more disgusting then being lied to.

She might hand us 1099 and we can pay both end of the taxes on $35

I tell you one thing if it wasn't the Bonners Ferry Chief of police moving next door. I doubt she want her son lawn mowed.

If the people qualify SECTION EIGHT or any housing voucher. She wouldn't be pushing for the lawn to be mowed.

Consider all these people lazy drug or alcoholic and bottom of the totem pole. You know the basic derelict . She got money and her mind if you don't have money.

She looks at you as a servant and since you don't have money your stupid.

Actual Murphy and I don't have any trouble with her son. We don't mine helping my cousin but I refuse to be one of my Aunt Eve surf.

Thursday my Aunt stop in and handed me $30 and said "I know you'll mow the lawn" Well the money is going back and we will keep our word on spray"
I know if I keep the $30 it would just feed her ego. She looks at us as charity and we so desuetude that we will jump though her hoops.
Every so often my Aunt likes to mention who she helps out. Not to feed her ego I'm sending back the $30

The road we live on is about half a mile long. Four homes are on this road. Ours and three others. My cousin place and ours is pretty much in middle. At the end of the road. Some one playing real honky tonky cowboy music and we can hear it a quarter mile away.

 Editor Note...My Cousin Vic wife died and he remarried. If her son call I would be glad to run the mower and mow, just five buck for gas.

Not Quite Every Thing But Almost

A big portion of our veggie garden in. Yesterday Murphy and I put in a 2 by 3 foot of kohlrabi. Today we did 2 X8 of parsnips, 2x2 of turnips and one artichoke

Usual on the south side of our place I put in a few veggie. But last year we did all the trim and the south side of place really needs to be done.

Replace some siding.

So everything didn't get planted.

  At this time I'm not going to list what I planted. But in photo we put in tomatoes, peppers, and tomatillos.

In different spot we put some black plastic on ground to warm it up. We did this with the pole beans. We're growing three different types. Two of them my friend Quenella gave to us.

The strawberries are now starting to form. Don't expect to pick any toward the middle of June. Haven't yet had chance to look over the raspberries but the plants look real healthy. Place 3 artichoke behind the pole beans.

Looks like we might still possible have about an 12 or 14 foot roll beside the strawberries.

 I notice one I need to thin out some of my Iris. Other plants aren't lacking sunlight. My one rose in the hodge podge bed is blooming.

I took a short walk yesterday on the south hill. My left hip been giving me trouble. Been doing some stretching and taking the cheap version of Tylenol.

I been taking off some of my weight. Actual for the month of May I lost the second most weight in our T.O.P.S group.

Been eating 1,800 to 2,000 calories a day. Massively cut back on the refine sugar. Not saying I don't eat something naughty, only one day a week.

Last Tuesday was my naughty day and I had a .25¢ vanilla ice cream cone.

No eating after seven in the evening. If I do want or need to eat I have naked pop corn. Nothing on it.
