It's A Different Play

I'm surprise how well the stay with Murphette been. Everything she tried to get her self south seem like a monkey wrench was thrown in the works.
Now I think together we figure it out. Which is to send down the two kids first on the bus. But at first I thought I was going to have to loan or give her the differences in the money so they could go on the bus. I was some what worried about them not having a place to stay. They where staying up at his dad place and I guess his dad sister law has some issues with Annie.
I guess for the first week of July there staying with the youth pastor family that Annie attends.
Murphette gets one of her checks on the 29th which is $398 which isn't quite enough to go. But her other part of her check comes in on the 3rd of the month which will be $320.
I know I have to keep her children and her separate. Her daughter will demand or wine to her mom giving her things. She won't tell her daughter “No” and she will be come flat broke.
But I don't care if they visit but I don't want them together for any length of time.
It basely divide and conqueror. Keep it under control. Plus David family is piss me off. I can't see why the hell they can't help. Everyone can help in some way it might be a small bit. Shit he was ask to bring potato salad to the wedding and could mange to do that. Plus he get more on his disability then Murphette does.
Our sons were raised a lot different.

The garden is doing fairly well considering how much rain we had. The other day I thin out some of the beets. So for dinner we had fresh beet greens and left the tiny beets on. Actual can't remember what else we had for dinner that night.
Now we been keeping and eye on the strawberries there turning red.
My friend Alice gave me a call that a 2nd harvest food truck was parked at Lutheran Church in town giving away food. I was pretty much finishing up dishes and ran down got flat strawberries, frozen french fries, frozen mix veggies, apples, oranges, and cherries. The cherries and strawberries need be taken care of right away. About 10 minutes after I arrive home Murphy came home from work so he gave me a hand what needed to be taken care of.
We sort the good fruit from the bad fruit, we're dehydrating some cherries and strawberries save some fresh back to eat. Look like we will have strawberry short cake for dinner. But didn't

I went had my annual check up which is called “Well Woman Check Up” here in Idaho at this time if a family makes under $30,000 one can have physical for free.
I didn't need a pap this time around. I never had an abnormal pap so unless some thing comes up in the year 2013 or 14 will be my next one.
Now my last mammogram they found a nodular some what like a fatty growth. So sometime in July I'll go and have my boob smash.
All of my blood test came out normal. The only thing is my weight is the key issue.

We took a few minute and I told her that I was member of (T.O.P.S) gave her the run down. It a little under $30 a year for membership, 50¢ for dues each member, and .10¢ per pound one gains.
I ask her if there anything for “Well Men Check-up” like the “Well Woman Check Up” but not in the state of Idaho.

Last thing they gave me some poop cards. There really hemoccult cards. It non-intrusive for colonoscopy

Most medical things don't scare me. The bill scares the hell out of me. For years I never and went and had a mammogram. If I had anything serious like cancer I could loose the small bit we had. Any leans or debt we couldn't handle was medical.

Just recently Murphy got a job over at a tree farm that is own by my Aunt Bea. Anyhow Murphy is only working part time.
My Aunt is a nice person but she sure has some delusion about the work world.
She can't imagine in her wildest dream that majority of the employers are assholes. That one reason we live cheap. So we don't have to put up with there shit any longer then possible.
I know I got a bad attitude about work.

Editor Note...I been having trouble with our computer...didn't have a chance to do photo hunt. Pictures anything to up-load takes every and day. There something not right with connection and or browser.
Plus hubby is having nose bleed.

It's Not All About the Wedding

Quenella had some vehicle trouble the head gasket went out. So Thursday I ran her around to do some small errands. She got Annie and David some gift for there weddings.
Statement time...If Annie attitude don't change toward being married...I'll be surprise it will last a year....unless they wake up and smell the turds.
Plus I help her on Web Site. Then took few moment and looked at her gardens.

Way before the wedding Annie had a real nasty attitude towards her mother Murphette. She been telling her mom that she couldn't show up early to the wedding or she would be kicked out. So I reminded her the wedding can't start until the brides-mother sits down.
Then soon as the wedding is over and before the reception start she and her friends mainly Quenella needs to leave.

I have to say when Murphette brother Joe and few of us straighten her around about her attitude. First of all I explain to her, us old lady which includes my self. Want to see the ceremony, see you cut the cake, get a bite to eat and see you open your gifts and we will be out of there.
Well she was civilized and a few times behind Quenella back she rolled her eyes. But in general her attitude didn't become an issue.
But few days before the wedding we did the tourist things and Annie and David rode with us. Someone from Annie church went on her mom facebook page and seen her religion was listed as Wiccan. As not going into lot of detail pretty much shit green twinkies.
I never seen or heard Murphette criticized or judged other peoples religious believes.

The wedding went really well. First time I've been to a wedding that was that informal. The food was great it was a potluck.
The cake was even good. I had a piece of chocolate. Plus it was home-made. Most bakery cake with a few exception are just plain yucky. Statement time...Oh I wouldn't dare use the word “Yucky” around my mom.
I wouldn't think of showing up to a wedding with out a gift. But only four people brought present. We got the couple a toaster although it was a re-gift Christmas present.
One don't need to spend a lot. I gave a used cookbook from a thrift store and gave it at a bridal-shower.
Then one wedding we went to gave items for the bathroom including tooth brushes and paste.

The only real issue I saw was Quenella being bossy. She told the couple that her gifts needs to be open last. Sure they where nice gift but nothing fantastic.
Personal I would least open one of her gift first.
She doesn't boss me around.

Well the wedding is over and the honeymoon is started. In about two weeks the everyday grind of married life is going to hit.
But before the wedding it seem she wasn't interested in nesting. I've always had some desire to nest and what I thought my life would be like didn't necessary worked out as I planned.
One of my cousin Murphette when she got married had desire to go with (sort of like her foster) great grand parents down to Yuma Arizona then be a wife.
Sometime I wonder if Annie has more desire to go to Hubbard Texas to be with her sister.
Well I guess there times I didn't mine nesting but I want to do it by my self.

Editor Notes...I want to have this posting up the 17th of June but my browser had issues.

Weekend Photo Hunt (Cooking-Ripple)

It was well into the first part of June and we got our last thing planted in the main veggie garden. It was a tomatillo. I looking forward cooking with fresh veggies out of the garden.

A week ago Friday my hubby and I went to our local Museum to hear a lecture on Mining and Geology for North Idaho. When I was watching the slide show and following lecture it dawn on me what I could take a picture of for ripple.
Murphy and I been picking up these rocks called belt rock
we never new what they were called until week ago Friday. But they do have ripples in them which was form in there development.

Next weekend photo hunt will be fashion   hot

Weekend Photohunt Clean-Graveyard

It been a while since I did any cleaning on the barn/shed. One of my goals for 2012 was to get the barn/shed clean and organized. It seem like it's been slow going. I want to use the items that I was trying to get rid of and have a yard sale. But I decided at this rate 'Wink Van Winkle” would been up from his nap ages ago. So it going to one of our local thrift stores.
I take one area in the barn/shed shelves pull everything out and get rid of 10%. This time 12 items are heading to one of our local thrift stores.

One thing I noticed on my job. Opinion time...Lot of my clients are hoarders. Plus I been ask if my children would be up set that I'm getting rid of there inheritance.
Murphy Grand mother Charlotte was a hoarder had lot of things like odds and end yarn like short pieces. Opinion time...This lady was a hoarder of trash. Well when she pass on. Lot of her things just got toss out of the windows in a bond fire.

This is the newest graveyard. Which is about a mile from our home and usual when someone goes to town they end up going by it.
One day I was telling Bart what I want when I go, what to do with my body remains.
He told me when I kick the bucket in the house I live in...He was going tie a rope to me and drag my funky ass behind a rig and dig hole over at the neighborhood graveyard and throw me in
But I guess he going to have to sneak me over there because it an Orthodox graveyard and to be placed in there grave yard one must be orthodox
Editor Note...I couldn't get into the graveyard.
I understand they have some different Christian Custom then the majority of Christian burials...So I'm giving 3 links for those who want to read on it.

Next weekend photo hunts will be cooking and ripple

Weekend Photo Hunt (bridge-taste)

Well sort of not. I didn't want to take a picture of the Kootenai river bridge. I thought of standing on what is left of the old bridge and just take a picture. It was blown up shortly after the present day one. I brought the camera on Friday to take a picture but some how never got around to it.
But instead I made a bridge using a deck of cards. I use to built things using cards and let say I was out of practice.

I did get that apple salsa done after last week photo hunt and it taste very good. I end up making it like a salad instead.

Next weekend photo hunt themes are clean and graveyard(s)
