12 Secrets (Stabotage) Partnership and Alliances

I have to say I’ve put a little more time into my crafts. Well it Friday and it mean I need to do Secret 8 it part of a book group I been involved in.
We are now “Selecting Empowering Partnerships & Alliances”

I had to go back and read this chapter again. At first I wasn’t sure what they where taking us.
Recently I been coming up with place I could market my pieces. With the economy way it is one need to be careful.
We have two different art co-op in our little area.
We have quite a few craft shows around the holiday season.
A farmer market starting the end of April and it goes to sometime in September. The market happens every Saturday.
Plus there all sort of events that one may sell there wares at.

I find out most people want to help and today I found there a group of ladies who met on Thursday morning and create together.
Well at first I thought this might be impossible to do because of my work schedule but during the summer Donna might want to take me to different yard and rummage sales and it usual best to hit them early on a Friday.
But I’ll play it buy ear for now

Confession time…I seen a lot of problem arise with business partnershipso I’m not all that interested in a business partnership but with the right people I would be interested in a creative partnership.

Actual I been finding all sort of kind heart people who willing to help. Plus there are time I get some inspiration and moment from and out side force.
Last week in secret # 7 I had some kind words from Lissa which was “The economy is the way it is which makes things so difficult. However it hasn't stopped you from creating, which is great!”
She very right I maybe complain about the economy I’m not marketing but yet I’m creating.
Thank you Lissa for the wake up call

Riding a Chariot With A Slight Smile

I never thought there were any certain to get spiritual ideals so sense it a new moon.
I decided to use the dictionary and the tarot cards.
Randomly picked a word and it is “simper” and I real quite didn’t understand the meaning of the word it means basically “smirk” and or “express”.
Honest time…I don’t like to express my self of adversity in my life I don’t want to seem like I’m complain and actual I complain more on my blog then I do in life.
Plus I have a speech disabilities and I sometime Murder words and it is called apraxia or language/speech dyslexia but I found it was easier to tell people about my speech and I found out that most people are understanding and those who aren’t “oh well”

Then on the tarot card I picked a #7 Chariot I can see this card has a lot of power and power that is given to any of us including my self should be careful were it came from.
If it form a demon source one should not have anything to do with it.
If it came from Good source one should still be use with wisdom.
I believe most battle can be won but sometime we don’t approach it in the right way and we make plenty of mistakes on the way to our goals.
I truly believe that God/dess wants us to be happy and if we real need and or want something it isn’t going to be given to us.
But we are going to have to work for it but I believe the good spirit will show us what we need to get our goals but we have to listen.
Confession time…I get frustrated at times and stick it way back in the closet of life

On yesterday posting I was asked by Jamie
When’s the first place you'd visit?
I have love of history and even my own family history. I would visit my own birth town of Bonners Ferry six week before I was born.
But I would get back to the present before I was born.
Then I believe I would go back to all the place and dates of my kin where

In The Know (Pipe Dream)

Every so often when I was a little girl. I would come up with some wild ideal or dream of what I want to do.
My mom would say “That is sure a nice pipe dream” and I have to say even to day my pipe dreams goes on.

I’ve always have a love for history all periods of history.
When I was little I was going to invent a Time Machine and go back and meet all these neat people from days gone by.
But also I recall asking my mom and dad about the good ole days. Both my parents chuckled and told me about it.
I recall asking my mom about the stock market of 29 and what it met to her. She would say what does it mean to 6 year old kid who starting school.
Sense my dad worked years on the railroad I would listen to all the place and culture of place he been.
He once worked on railroad in the southeast part of the United States and told me how this Negro man was terrible afraid of the whites.
And he told me how one black man wanted some tobacco and got on his knee and bag for it.
This was way before the civil right movement.
I believe this real cracked up my parents I use to ask them about riding in the covered wagon.

I still have dreams and goals and if there still pipe dreams I don’t know.
I thought of being a United States Senator. With common sense and compassion toward my fellow citizen I would make a good one.

I have dream of having my own line of interior design for the home and yard

I also thought of writing a book a reference bookcalled “Cross Reference of all the World Faiths”
Statement time..I see more in common in different faiths of the world although they use different terms but they have the same basic teaching of Love god with all your heart

I hope you find time to post your pipe dreams of on your blog and the next month in the know will be What is right and wrong with your job
The next In The Know will be Wednesday March 25th

See what I do when I’m tired

Hypotense

Murphy and I attended the service at the gardenia center and the speaker was Govinda and it was on astrology

We spoke on changes we may be going thru and the planet Uranus and Saturn are line up.
As he explain there the opposites. Now do we need a variety of opposites in our life to make us balance?
But few other things he said real got my attention is on Obama Astrological Chart Statement time…I don’t know this is accurate or not But he also said Obama in his astrology chart has the shape of Star of David
To read about the astrology of the shape of star of David click here and stroll down

He said he only seen or known 14 other people with the star of David in there chart. So I came home and looked at my astrology chart and see what shape is taking place and I would call it a scalene triangle or a hypotenuse.
Then also I notice I have nothing in 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th or 9th houses.
I’m clueless what this actual means but I found it interesting

Those Old Cotton Wood Trees

Murphy went to have his blood pressure checked and it was on the high side. As a typical male he wouldn’t heed to my words on blood pressure.
I told him to eat healthier like cutting down on salt. So the nurse told him the same thing plus a few other pointers that I have even said.
Why are men this way?
Confession time…I feel like saying “I told you so”

So Murphy and I went out to game reserve to find a place to take a walk. We want to walk on place with no snow or ice.
So we found a place on a dike off of Mallard Rd.

On our little jaunt they seem to be mainly cotton wood trees with a few pines mainly yellow pines.
I real like the dogwoods in back ground the main color you see is brown, white, and green from the pine needles.
But dogwood stems seem to add a little color this time of year when one is waiting for more sign of spring to come.

From our walk we could see the Kootenai Indian burial hill. I’m not sure when the last time they actual use it.
But I would guess well over 100 years or more.

As we got back to main road (riverside) Murphy want to look around in a field for few minutes.

I guess I like the dogwood branches in back ground. Away in back ground is bridge that goes over Deep Creek as it going into the Kootenai river.

In this area there a lot of cotton wood trees. One time I went into a home décor store on 5th Ave in Sandpoint and they had furniture made out of cottonwood and it had so many different color swirling though out the piece.
I believe it was one of the most unique and beautiful pieces I ever seen.
A large majority of people cusses and called it a weed tree. But as it get old and it grows it makes all sort of neat twist and turns.

Announcement…Wednesday the 25th of February I’ll be doing “In the know”
This week theme/topic is “What are some of your pipe dreams” I’ll be posting mine Wednesday the 25th of February

12 Secrets (Guides) Photo Hunt (Warm) and Festivity

Chapter 7 is here now. I’m a part of a book blogging group and the book we are doing is 12 secrets of highly creative woman this week topic is “guides”

I sometime I had more honest guides in my life at this time. There are times I think of quitting my job.
But I sometime real don’t care about reality but I know facts or facts and the economy really sucks.

Thursday I was in town and stop in a new little artsy co-op they just open here in Bonners Ferry in old taft building on main street.
I walk though and looked at all the neat things.
It briefly inspired me and even thought of renting a space but I never even inquired about it.
Couple of reason I didn’t. I’m not all that sure how much Murphy going to be doing nursery work.
I make enough paying bills and keeping a roof over our head so I don’t feel this is real good time to gamble.
I don’t have enough inventories to real seek out any space.
I was talking to clerk Bonners Ferry is sure a small town and basically ever one knows everyone.
She said that her son would like to come back here and live but there no jobs around here.
I told her that my oldest one is going to school down in Courd’Alene and Bart a senior and I figure he will move out fairly soon after he graduated.
I thought I would see what the employment opportunity was here in Boundary County and I went to Idaho Labor and there is 9 jobs posted this week and last figure our unemployment rate is about 12%

This might sound self center some time just out blue I come up with something. Just the other day I thought of design to do for some mugs.
I’m thinking of doing a few for my Santa box.
Plus a short time ago I came up with a calendar which I call changing of the season and I’ll be adding that to the adult holiday gift exchange.

I’m all so inspire all different things in the world. People, words, and pictures. I do take clippings of different items and I do see beauty in each one of them. I might not care for it 100% but it does offer me inspiration some how.
Some time a word will come about a single word and it will grow into more then just that word. Like the other day pink stripes came to me. The ideal that grew was my enamelware ceramic mug.
Confession time…I don’t like to copy right down to letter T other people work but I do get ideals from there work
Listening to other people and talking to others also inspires me. I know I’m not the only one with creativity

I actual been working on the ceramic piece of “Santa in tub” I been putting in the eyes and doing touch ups. This was taking last Sat the 14th of February.
Plus I been embroidery away and also I took picture the same time I did the Santa in tub. I been doing French knots lately and had to refer back to a book on needle crafts on how to do them.

I haven’t done photo hunt in such a very long time and I mean long.
So this week theme is Warm and next week theme is “thankful”

Every morning Murphy and I have several cups of nice warm mugs of coffee and enjoy our time together.
As we sip on our coffee we talk about what our plans for the day may be and life in general.
This morning conversation was nothing real important but it was on when will the snow go away.
Murphy said it will be gone by the first part of March or the end of February. Well I think toward the middle of next week it will be getting cold again.
I ask Murphy if we still think the snow will be gone in a week and he had to admit it wouldn’t be.
I would guess we have about a foot and half of snow in our yard.

Yesterday we went over to Faith and Heinz to celebrate his 78th birthday. Both of Heinz and Faith Birthday is fairly close.
Faith is 6th of January and they took a trip to one of the Hawaiian Island last month.
Faith made a soup called Chipino and also serves crab cakes, veggie tray, pizza and also French bread.
We got Heinz a card and scratch Idaho lottery ticket and he won $10.00.
Oh we had cake and ice cream

I know I Can't Get Rid Of Old Man Winter Left Overs.

Last few days I wasn’t sure what I real want to post about. As always my life is real quite boring.
I’m not complaining which I call it my “uneventful life” which I give many thanks for

Well there one thing I do know there a drawing over at Pia she giving a way a surprise I’ll say the blogger giveways and swaps are great fun.

Well I thought I was taking Faith to Sandpoint but that surely didn’t happen we just did some of our things in local area.

We stopped in at Quality farm and garden and she got some garden supplies to start her seedlings.

I picked up a few more seeds. I believe I pretty well got everything now.
So I got some
1. Parsnips (Hollow Cream)
2. Gourds (Sponge)
3. Strawflower (Pierrot)
4. Zinnia (Linearrs)
5. Pumpkin (Jack O Lanterns)
6. Kale (Blue Scotch Curled)
7. Gourds (bird house)
The only thing I can think of getting is some winter squash. We both like spaghetti and carnival ones.

My rain gauge out in flower bed got a big ole spilt in it so it leaks buckets.
So I pop in at local dollar store and got one for like $1.50.
I think we paid well over $10.00 for the other one

I guess I real want spring to come there is still a good food of snow out in our yard still

Heads or Tail (Legends)

I thought it would be fun to tell other American Legends. So I went and found a Scottish legends.

The Story of Major Weir, 1670

Major Weir was the last man executed for witchcraft in Scotland in 1670. He lived with his unmarried sister, Grizel, in the West Bow - a Z-shaped street near Edinburgh Castle, "composed of tall antique houses, with numerous dovecot-like gables projecting over the footway, full of old inscriptions and sculpturings, presenting at every few steps some darkest lateral profundity, into which the imagination wanders without hindrance or exhaustion ..." wrote Robert Chambers in Traditions of Edinburgh

.

Major Weir was an active member of a strict Protestant sect, and was frequently seen at prayer meetings. He officiated at such meetings - but always leaning on his black walking staff. Robert Chambers described his end as follows:

"After a life characterized by all the graces of devotion, but polluted in secret by crimes of the most revolting nature, and which little needed the addition of wizardry to excite the horror of living men, Major Weir fell into severe sickness, which affected his mind so much, that he made open voluntary confession of all his wickedness. The tale was at first so incredible, that the provost, Sir Andrew Ramsay, refused for some time to take him into custody. At length himself, his sister (partner in his crimes), and his staff, were secured by the magistrates, together with certain sums of money, which were found wrapped in rags in different parts of the house. One of these pieces of rag being thrown into the fire by a bailie who had taken the whole in charge, flew up the chimney, and made an explosion like a cannon.

While the wretched man lay in prison, he made no scruple to disclose the particulars of his guilt, but refused to address himself to the Almighty for pardon. To every request that he would pray, he answered in screams, "Torment me no more - I am tormented enough already!" Even the offer of a Presbyterian clergyman, instead of the established Episcopal minister of the city, had no effect on him.

He was tried April 9, 1670 and being found guilty, was sentenced to be strangled and burnt between Edinburgh and Leith. His sister, who was tried at the same time, was sentenced to be hanged in the Grassmarket. When the rope was around his neck, to prepare him for the fire, he was bid to say, "Lord, be merciful to me!" but he answered, as before, "let me alone - I will not - I have lived as a beast, and I must die as a beast!"

After he had dropped lifeless in the flames, his stick was also cast into the fire; and 'whatever incantation was in it,' says a contemporary writer, 'the persons present own that it gave rare turnings, and was long a-burning, as also himself.'"

I did remember it was Tuesday today and so it met it was also head or tails

Who Do You Think Is Our Best President

Today is president day and it day to recognize our 44 president who was leader of our country.

Though out history we have rated our president and we all have our opinion on who is number one.
But do we pick our presidents from Myths
I found some trivia facts about our presidents or try this link
As you know we been celebrating Lincoln 200th birthday. I’ve heard that he had connection with the Spiritualist
But also I heard lot Lincoln speeches was base from bible and works of Shakespeare

Now when it comes to ranking of past presidents it’s all in what question are asked.
I bet there question to ask and Dubya would be highly rated and then ask some question and Washington could be the bottom of the pit.
It also what side of the coin you are willing to believe on how one ranking of the president may be yahoo news and even cspan
So who would you rate as the top 5 presidents.?
I would rate this as top 5.
1. Teddy Roosevelt
2. Thomas Jefferson
3. James Monroe
4. Franklin Roosevelt
5. Abraham Lincoln

Two Pitfall Short in My Life Now

As many of you already know there going to switch from analog to digital although in our area the switch will be different.
As most cases when things happen in the out laying communities of populated areas the FCC forgot or never considered the people who may be using Broadcast relay station or Translators to get there television single.
We may have to buy a special
antenna
for our place. But also there saying depending on your location and were the translator is located it might not work.
I know if I got a satellite dish for television it would work.
At this time do to our economy I don’t feel comfortable putting in a satellite tv and there no cable company out here.
We will investigate into different types of antenna to receive a digital single. Not sure what we are willing to pay for it.
Our antenna is about 20 years old and we paid $90 for it then and got good use out of it.
Then if we find one that may work with digital off the translators I want a money back guarantee.
So the bottom line may be we won’t be having any television so place in the future

Now my printer is also having it problems.
I’m not sure what going on or even what to look up under the help section.
The first problem came about when I was printing off my weather report that I put in my Christmas cards to be sent out.
So I decide to add a small picture to each letter relating to the weather and I was going to change the picture though out.
Well some how now my printer won’t print out blue and it usual comes out pinkish tones.
When I take shots of snow the sky may be blue put it will come out on pinkish side.
If something has majority color of yellow tones it seem to take over.
Like in fall when the tree leaves have both green and gold leaves on it. It will show the goldish tones though out the tree. Then also have a light goldish tinge to entire print.
Now the printer is also starting a new problem.
They’re saying I have paper jammed in it. It will print our one page and then it tells me I have a paper jam.
They’re no paper jam.
So this morning I un hooked the printer and clean it and later on I’ll hook it all up and see if it works right

I get handy tips on taking picture though my camera brand via e-mail. And I print and save these.
So I decided to give one of lesson a whirl.
First, try focusing your camera on a darker object, then press the shutter down halfway so it meters the dark object instead of the snow. Next, without lifting your finger, re-frame your photo to capture the shot you actually want, and depress the shutter button the rest of the way down to take the picture.
So I went out in back yard and tried this lesson. Here my results.

The Many Roads of Love

This thing they call “love” and every February 14th we celebrate Valentine day. Is it amazing how many roads love takes us down? Some are pretty rough, big ole ruts in them, and some are plain smooth.
I’ve only new one type of road for “hate” although I don’t hate anyone but there are a few things in life I’m not a big fan of.

I’ve lightly thinking of love and how it been part of my life and the roads it took me down.
The love I had toward my parents. My mom and I got a long and if I had to use one word to explain her in positive and or a negative light. I couldn’t come up with one.
Then my father and I real had not a good relationship. The negative word I would use to define my dad is “grudge holding” the positive word I would use is “compassionate”. Our relationship my not have been prefect with my parents I would still say I love them.

Confession time…There been time I was so pissed at my hubby I actual wish I hate him and getting a divorce and taking everything, I wouldn’t even felt guilty.
But as we aged I feel a love toward him more.
We grew closer in so many parts of our partnership and enjoyed each other company and friendship although we don’t see eye to on every little detail in life.
Now for a positive word to explain my hubby “provider” and negative word “gripper” Note time…It seem like he always complains about be old he is 58 years old It sometime drives me nuts.

We have two boys which we are very proud of. The oldest one is living in Postfall with his cousin and going to North Idaho College.
The youngest one is a senior in high school and also doing real fine for him self.
Our main goal for our boys to be able to make a decision on their own and they can do this just fine.
So we taught them how to be true free thinkers.

I feel god/dess loves their children and there many things we do back in our everyday life to show our love toward god/dess.
Then main thing is god is life and we are truly bless with a (all the positives word one may come up with to bring into one life) life.
But on the opposite end of god/dess is devil/ess who real don’t want us to have a loving life.
So hope you all have love in your heart on Valentine time day and many times afterwards.

Editor note…I could post more on the devil maybe someday I’ll give my honest opinion on the devil but not today

12 Secrets (Stabotage)

On Friday Jamie is our host as we go though 12 Secrets and the topic is sabotage.

Sabotage oh this is such a confusing part of my life, so many roads and lot of branches of the main road of life.
Confession time…I’m my biggest own sabotage I’ll set things up in my life and guess what I do in a very short time I’m back doing my habit that I real need to change.
Let see I’ll list a few of them or my most resent ones.
1. No coffee in afternoon what do I do… I had 3 cups on Thursday.
2. Drink more water what do I do…I’m lucky if I get down 1 to 2 pints.
3. Every Saturday I was going to a least an hour or so on ceramics….I haven’t touch a piece in a good few weeks.
4. Then in evening when I didn’t work I thought of painting on ceramics…that a joke Santa in spare room a waiting his boots, frame, and eyes to be put in.
These sound like such simple changes in life but can I stick to it…”No”

You know those little voices in your head giving you all these messages and trying to solve your life problems.
Who are the ones are being truthful? We can call them anything we real want to but I’ll call them good spirits or evil spirits.
I know sometime it painful to hear the truth and Believe time…I believe the evil spirits will tell you what you want to hear but I believe the good spirits will tell you the truth even if don’t want to hear it.
Every so God/dess will simple tell us no

Like most people I have my own thoughts what I want to do with my life. I recall saying something to my parents.
They never said “get into the real world and start living in reality” but there saying “that sure a nice pipe dream”
So today I often wonder how much that statement of “pipe dream” have cause tribulations in my life.

I don’t know what or why this is. But we all have things we need or want to change in our life and I’m not even sure it why.
“We are comfort in our own skin” so we let those little gremlins stick around because we are comfortable with them

I received anther letter from letter I wrote about thinning the Thinning our forest lands I didn’t put on the first two paragraphs in letter I sent

This is response I got with Crapo

Thank you for contacting me about funding in the stimulus bill for natural resource projects. I appreciate hearing from you and welcome the opportunity to respond.

As you may know, on January 14, 2009, I joined ten of my colleagues in the Senate in sending a letter to then President-Elect Obama asking for $1.52 billion in funding for critical forest health and restoration projects on public lands. The U.S. Forest Service estimates that it has enough "shovel-ready" projects in this area to create 50,000 jobs. As it stands, the Senate version of H.R. 1, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act includes $650 million for forest health projects. Thank you for your thoughtful comments, and please rest assured, I will continue to support healthy forest management projects that reduce the risk of fire and harm to surrounding communities.

Again, thank you for contacting me. Please feel free to contact me in the future on this or other matters of interest to you. For more information about the issues before the U.S. Senate as well as news releases, photos, and other items of interest, please visit my Senate website, http://crapo.senate.gov.

Sincerely,

Mike Crapo
United States Senator

He left link called A.R and R.P then also anther link here 111

I resently wrote a letter to our local paper called Boundary County Digest the letter goes as follow

TellYour Officals How You Feel

president Obama promised the American People a more transparent government, and I feel we have an obligation to keep in touch with our all of our elected and pointed government officials. It really doesn’t matter what your political ideals are. We aren’t Red or Blue states; we are citizens of the United States of America. I am now asking my fellow citizen when you have the time or feel your voice needs to be heard to send an e-mail, make a simple phone call or write a letter to the editor of a newspaper. It doesn’t need to be ant thing fancy, but they need to be anything fancy, but they do need to hear us. As we’re in times that we may have not seen for ages, this may be a time for all safety net. I strongly encourage all to give your ideals, feedback and or thoughts to any elected government or appointed position. Here some addresses of our elected and pointed people in our government

Editor Note…I add the address where one could be contacted but I’m add a link please click here

I’ve had positive response to my letter most of was nice letter and well put together. Someone called (our phone number is in the book) and ask if I had the President phone number

Today was my T.O.P.S meeting and I was up a pound and half. I’ve done a lot worst

February Dream Board

I actual wanted to do more with this dream board. But do to work I really haven’t had the chance to do to work.
Everyday I want to get out and till the soil to garden in. Still have a very good ground of snow still.
I only know of one field that I can see some tilled soil although not cleared.
The ground is still barren and frozen under the blanket of snow.

But as Rex and I took our walk behind the forest service I spotted a two pair of Canadian geese returning to the grain fields.
I don’t know if they plan to stick around a built nest or not.
But in that area they have geese that build there nest out in those grain fields

Well I ordered some seeds from Bountiful gardens well they came at end of January.
Now I’m getting all excited to be out in the garden.
My order consists of
1. Bounitful Bean, Green Bush
2. Dragon Langerie Wax Beans Bush
3. Barabietola de Chioggia, Candy stripe beet
4. Belgian White Carrot
5. Chantenay Carrot
6. Golden Self Blanching Celery
7. Lucullus Chard
8. Early White Delicacy Kohlrabi
9. Jimmy Nardello’s sweet Italian frying Pepper
10. Jalapeno Early pepper, hot
11. Chadwick’s Cherry Tomato, Chery
12. Stupice Tomato Cool Climate.

The lady I drive around on Tuesday gave me some seed. She gets her seeds from Vermont Bean Seed Company I guess every year they sent her some seeds (free) with her order.
They sent her 3 variety of experimental variety of pea, bean, and corn.
So she gave me the experimental seeds.

See one of my wishes and dream is to get out and have my hand in soil.

If you wanting to see more dream boards please stop in at Jamie our host

In Something I Believe In Both

Today Murphy and I attended the Sunday Service at the Gardenia Center and today speaker inspired me to post this.
He spoke as non-believer and as humanism.
I never thought it was all that important to claim a sect of any type. I do have my personal believes and where do they come from and I have to say here and there the rain, wind, and my own inter self brings them.
Do I listen to different teacher and I have to say yes. Everyone was something to offer but that doesn’t mean I agree with everything hook line and sinker.

It was also the first time I heard some one speak on evolution. Opinion time…I real don’t think the scientist or great religion people have how the earth even started

Opinion time… I think our environment has influence on our evolution. This happen with us as stewards of the earth.
When we pollute our bodies and everything around us, changes our environment.
But when we take care of our bodies and everything around us, changes our environment.
Is this positive or negative I’ll just say it is.

Now some may ask if I believe in higher power a god of such, yes. Who is this so god/dess he or she is all and lives in each of us.
God/dess is life.
Do I follow a certain teacher as Christ, Buddha, fairies, or etc. I don’t have certain teacher that I follow but I believe we are all students and teachers of life.
But we all have free will to choose our life

I guess the Health Rider Isn't Going to Load

Today start as a day I wasn’t sure exactly what I want to do. The only thing I didn’t feel lazy or like tackling anything big.

So I start out doing my e-mails, and I was over at google news and decided to put in strange key words and see where it took me.
Read my horoscope for the day. I don’t even recall what it said.

This morning Bart said the assembly of god in Sandpoint was doing a pie auction and wondered if I could make one. The money is going for a group that going down to New Orleans to built home for Katrina victims.
Bart is going down there during his Spring break end of March and the first part of April.

So I made huckleberry pie but Bart had to do up the dishes before I started the pie

Murphy asked if I would make some homemade noodles for Turkey and noodle soup and I said ‘yes’ but I told him next time I wanted dumplings.

I stop by the thrift store the other day and bought a exercise machine and paid $15.00 for it.
I’ve used it put haven’t real got a good work out on it yet. Just enough to feel a little soreness in bi-cips of both arms

Self Focus

It Friday and I’m part of book blogging group called 12 secrets
This week topic is Self Focus

Time I wonder if I’m bi-polar when it comes to be in command of my own life. They are days I’m but together and seem to have well mapped out plan and there those days I don’t have one.
Well one thing I find out that work has plans A and plan B. I used to only go with one plan which was plan A and if that went to hell in hen basket I would be total frustrated and upset.
So then I learn not to depend on one plan so I made two plans of doing the same thing but in a different way and usual plan C would work out for best all around.
That what I called plan A and B in combo.

But resent my life and plans of creativity change and the world economy change my plans for a while.
I’m so thankful that my hubby Murphy is doing over 75% of the home chores as I’m at work.
But finding the energy and time to be creative.
I use to have a to do list when I stay home and some how that went by the way side since I started to work.
I’m not sure even how or what I need to put on a to do list.
I was so use to putting on things like dishes, laundry, garbage, dust and etc house hold chores.
But now with it all that done I should have time to create items but I don’t.

This line from page 90 did hit the nail on the head.…”Deadlines invoke the fear of god in me” says Barbara Sher
A dead line gives me the right to sit down and create instead of house cleaning or doing my taxes.
Note time...The fear of god/dess real don't put no fear in me or the devil/ess either
I know deadlines are fantastic things to complete goals but in lot a ways I make my time line to long.
In reason so I can put things off.
Recently in our T.O.P.S meeting we did our time capsule and one of the question how much weight do you want to loose 09 and I was going to put down 20 pounds.
The simple reason was that I could delay and making my goal a lot easier.
So I actual did put 40 pounds, which they don’t recommend that anyone loose over a pound week on the average and their 52-week in a year.
I’ve done this on other things so I can drag things out. I seem like I’m not late for appointments but when it comes to project.
It just not the weight lost things I’ll do it on quite a few projects.
My slight Scarlett O’Hara personality sure lights a tiny flicker in me

.

I did get around to do some embroidering on pillowcases that I plan to give out for the Christmas 09 gift exchange.
But my stains came out then I notice their was a mark from the older embroidery hoops I was using so I’ll pretreat them with basic H and it works so well

Does He Just Support the Timber Industry

I e-mail some of our elected and appointed government officials a letter concerning the Making a Better America
This is the response I called form Congressmen Simpson Note Time….He isn’t from my district

Thank you for contacting me regarding the financial crisis facing our nation. I appreciate hearing from you and having the opportunity to respond.

As we face a global credit crisis that has paralyzed our financial system and brought uncertainty to our economy, Congress’s priority must be to protect American families, retirees, and small businesses. Hard-working Americans expect value and accountability for every tax dollar they send to Washington. We must restore confidence in the American economic system to keep local businesses alive and thriving, create jobs, protect retirement savings, and help families get the credit they need to send their children to college, buy a new car, or start a new business.

In recent weeks, the federal government has implemented a number of new policies to stop the hemorrhaging of our nation’s financial system before it infects the lives of all Americans, I expect these efforts to continue and in the coming days. The government’s response to this crisis has already played a role in helping to avoid a severe and crippling recession that would leave many Americans without work. Our economy has a tough road ahead of it, and Congress must continue to act wisely and prudently to carefully monitor and scrutinize the federal government’s actions to make sure that our investment in our nation’s economic security pays dividends for hard-working taxpayers, make long-term changes to our financial structure by reforming the way we regulate our financial services industry, and take responsible steps to stimulate our economy.

I am committed to protecting the economic security of retirees, families, and small business owners in Idaho. In addition, it is critical that we continue working to ensure that those who are struggling to pay their mortgages in full and on time are able to work out these problems through credit counseling and refinancing of loans. Addressing this crisis will require a broad scope of solutions, and I am considering your suggestion to thinning our forest for firewood with great interest. As Congress considers proposals to put our nation back on the road to sustainable economic health, I will continue to support meaningful pro-growth policies that will ensure that our economy not only recovers from this crisis but has the tools to grow stronger.

Once again, thank you for taking the time to contact me about this issue. As your representative in Congress, it is important to me to know your thoughts and opinions about issues affecting our nation today. I also encourage you to visit my website, www.house.gov/simpson, to sign up for my e-newsletter and to read more about my views on a variety of issues.

Sincerely,
S
Mike Simpson
Member of Congress

Did I miss something the topic I wrote about was thinning the forest land. Although a lot of people would get up set with me in this area saying “The Timber industry in a lot of way didn’t benefit the health of our forest and actual add more to the trouble of our timber.”

Basically they took out the healthy tree and none of the genetically week and disease filled Forrest.
This could be well preventing by correct and common sense logging. The logging industry still blames the environmentalist as they pull out of town.
Opinion time…I’m for logging that is done for benefit of the forest

Photo Tag

go into your photo archive, pick the 4th folder in the archive, select the 4th picture in the folder, and write about it. A person then needs to tag 4 other people to do the same".

I was tagged by Claire garden

I decide to add 2nd picture to mine. One I counted from the beginning of my photo and then I count from the end

This is a picture of 20 mile road and this is the road we take up to black mountain which we can see from our back yard.
It now covered with snow but the mountain are pretty in any season.

Snowdrops are one of the first flowers up. I don’t have anything I think I don’t. My tulips come in bloom in first part of May to mid May.
Every so often I check some of beds to see if there any bare ground that is showing.

I’m tagging…

It Came Across the Pacific

Yesterday I got notice that I had a package waiting for me at our local post office and in Naples and I had a strong hunch that I my calendar came from Pia who lives in the Philippines. Thank you so much for the calendar I have it sitting on my hutch in living room. My hubby thought it was an interesting calandar.

I’ll be posting about anther scavenger hunt shortly after Valentine day and it for “Spring/Ostara”

I went to my T.O.P.S meeting and I once again was there weekly winner of the most pounds lost. I lost two and quarter pounds.
Each week someone in the club gives a class on healthily life style and this week topic was “How to stay positive about weight lost” and this one for positive self talk hit home for me

Lots of people watching what they eat. I’m not alone choosing healthful, nutritious food that my body deserves

Plus we sang this song to tune of “Battle Hymm of Republic” For some reason I can’t find the lyric and if I every bump into them I’ll post it.
It had every one laughing

Imbolc Day

Mid winter is here!!! Some may call it ground hog day and known as Imbolc.
Well around here it sure still pretty much look like winter and when I got up this morning there was an 1 inch of fluffy white stuff called “snow” but in today weather real wasn’t all that bad.
I went to work to and it was a long day and it always seems longer on Monday to me.

Part of my job is to take Donna dog Rex for a walk and we went down to Ball Park and walked down the road.
I liked to walk a little bit more down the dirt road toward the river and around the ponds but with the snow still on the ground it hindered me from any great exploration.

I was hoping when I got home I wasn’t sure what I want for Imbolc dinner but I knew I real want something light for dinner.
Murphy got out some beefsteak and he pound it some. I could make some “Chicken fried steak” with mash potatoes and mix veggies.
It was ok but I was hungry for something lighter but yet I didn’t know what. I got home shortly before 5 this evening.

Announcement time…I have a new kitty and her name is “Rosy” I’ll try it get a picture of her posted this week

Imbolc and the Eggs Quite Fell Out of the Basket

Saturday Bart drove us down to see Sawyer and we had a nice visit. He doing ok and look good still a little sore from the wreck.
We’re having a little trouble collecting from the other guy insurance allstate insurance There ads says your in good hand I say “Not”
So my son had to go get an lawyer to get what is rightful ours money for the car and his injuries which my guess should be between $3,000 and $5,000

The other day Murphy defrost the freezer and now it doesn’t work. A while a go our dishwasher went out.
Both our new and both our Kenmore both lasted less then 3 years.
No more Kenmore appliances for this family.

But I can’t say every egg in the basket went to hell. Amy took me shoe shopping and looked at the thrift store on east saltice way in post falls.
I found a pair of shoes at Calbelas

And got this little glass jar at Saint Vincent De Paul and only paid $1.75 which will go in my Santa bag for Christmas of 09.
Everything in my Santa bag or box is under $2.50
I was real impressed with the hospice thrift store although I didn’t pick up anything it was reasonable price and clean.

Happy Imbolc to all

Today Is Wednesday, March 27, 2024: This Is What Happened.
