January 09 In Pictures

A picture is worth a thousand words. I picked 12 picture of January some came from picture that I took.
Some came from keywords from posting in January.
Please note...I don't know how the Christmas tree got in there
I used Mosaic Maker

My Aunt Eve called me the other evening and told us one of our neighbor Diane passed on. She was in her mid 50 and the only thing I know that her husband came home around 11 and found his wife and called the paramedics.
Diane suffered from depression and anxiety. I have problem with anxiety too but I don’t believe mine was bad as her
Plus she was very thin.
I got card and will stick it in the mailbox as going to the service I don’t know if I will or not.

12 Secrets (Hills and Valley)

I real been enjoying being part of 12 Secrets a book blogging group.

To day topic is “ hills and valley of creative’ in anther words how we handle things.

Confession time…I have hard time handle praise I get embarrasses or I think people who gives me praise that there basically telling me little white lie.
I often won’t show or tell people my ideals or dream being afraid that they will laugh it or tell me that I’m just plain stupid.

Dream time…I like to have my own line of home and garden décor

I haven’t done anything creative but this year I have did some baby steps. I priced out some of my canister sets. The last one was a round Canister glazed with a decal should sale around $55.50 and that is when gas here in Bonners Ferry is at $2.51 and $3.00 a gallon.
My cost goes up like any other business. I have to have my clay ship to me and getting supplies is a cost

It Sure Wasn't Great But It Was Ok

I figure I accomplished a little yesterday. Nothing real big but I actual never plan on anything big.
I order some checks, which I should of, done earlier. I wrote the last one to either water company or to medical clinic.
Well it doesn’t matter there paid now.
I got everything done except the floors today.
Murphy did some laundry and defrost the freezer.

I picked anther client she is 86 years old but just gave up driving and now on Tuesday I drive her around.
She bright as tack and get around real good.
Takes her daily walk If I got this right it takes her about a half an hour. She was a loop she does in her neighborhood.
Plus she gets out and gardens and cleans her own home.
So her and I see eye to eye on political matters and she loves to garden.
She gave me some great info on starting seeds,
She uses a heating pad under her starter seeds to keep the ground warm but she says sometime you need to add some towels so the soil won’t get to warm and cook the soil.
So now I have been checking the thrift store for a heating pad. Every so often they’ll show up and you can get on for under $5.00
I feel like I’m driving Miss Daisy.

I once got out my pillow cases I start to embroidery and notice some how they got dirt on them.
So I’m going to try to laundry the one with dirt spot on it and hope I don’t loose my pattern and the spot comes out.
If not I don’t have much time invest in it.

Reading (Time)

I now have the time to do a reading and as I don’t have any set rules of doing a reading.
I like to do it by a new moon
Some time it may come from a spiritual cards or books.
Then other time I might just fine a word or some quotation.
But the word comes from my inter self is Time

There this saying and I real don’t even know it biblical or not. It go something like this.
“Wasting time is to allowed the devil to do his work” Confession time…I daydream quite a bit and I’ll be 49 next month shouldn’t that be for youngsters.
But I know their things I need to change when it comes to time management.
In the morning I keep saying I’m going to meditate and drink less coffee. What I do most of the time is drink almost a pot of coffee and set on my hinny and watch the news. I real don’t need to watch 1 ½ hours of local news a half hour is plenty because it just repeats it self.
Then the national news is on. I usual only watch a ½ hour of this because I’m heading off to work.
But if not I’ll watch and waste more time.

Then on my days off I’ll piddle around and real don’t accomplish anything. Sometime if I write out and to do list and keep it handy it seem to help.
Confession time…One thing I don’t care for is schedule that is real tight For example
8:10 AM Brush your teeth
8:12 AM Rinse mouth.
8:13 AM Wash out sink.
But I know I need some time of structure in my life.

One time I said I was going to clean out all the closet in my home. Well the only thing I did was purge our bedroom closet and hasn’t been back to any of them.
I also said I was going to do ceramic more or embroidery. I haven’t touch them in a week

I have some health habits I want to change ok I might do it for a day or two.
Then I could say I do them “half hazard”
One thing I start but never keep to is an exercise routine. Nothing fancy maybe something like 10 minute a day and I might do it here and there.

Then I know I have actual said that I’m going to read more and use my old brain more and what to I do.
Is more day dreaming.

I real don’t think of evil things and lot of time it to do good for others. But I know I need to get on board of life

The week before this I won the paper weight in our T.O.P.S group for most weight lost 1 ¼ pounds and this week I gain 3 pounds.

Making the Social Life In Boundary County

Over the weekend actual Murphy and I had quite the life of gally venting around.

First of all we went up on Katka Mountain to see our friend Qunelle who was having a brief memorial services for her husband Michael and she only invited 3 people.

We took some apple fritters and a primrose plant because it was on of Michael’s favors things in life.
I can’t say I’m all that thrilled on funeral or memorial services are. Actual you find out all sort of interesting things about the person after they’re dead and gone.
It sad a lot of time you don’t fine these facts out about the person and all they did.
Actual at my Uncle Glen service I learn that he was station in Burma during WWII and was a cook for the WPA program during F.D.R term.
Then my Uncle Boss met his wife as pen pals and they were married 60 years. Plus he helps the fish and game department to catch a certain type of fish.
The only funeral I went to and the service actual pissed me off was my cousin Doyle and they went on and on about bible verses for hours and talking about them.
Actual I never learn anything about my cousin Doyle life.
I don’t mine a few verse read and a short sermon.
Opinion time…I don’t believe anyone funeral or Memorial service should last more then an hour

Qunella has a quite a few picture of her an Michael together and I though there not many of Murphy and I together and thought we should get some of us.
So I had Qunella take some

My family held a birthday party for some of my Uncle and Aunts who was born under the sign of Aquarius who was 77 plus in years.
I’m not sure how many was there but I would guess about 30 people.

I believe my Uncle Melvin bought the cake it was his wife 80th birthday. Plus we had ham and all the trimmings

Left to right Uncle Bob, a friend of my Uncle and Aunt, Aunt Penny, Aunt Eve, And Aunt Bea.

In The Know (Making a Better America)

Yes today is the 25 of the month and I do what I call in the know and I pick a topic for one to post about.
This week topic “Ideals for a better country” I like to hear your ideals on what we could do to improve our country.
If you would like to get hold of some officials I have a link to some addresses Some how and I do apologize that some of the links to the e-mail don’t work

My letter would go to the department of energy, labor, agriculture, commerce, health and human service, and interior.
The letter I will be writing is on “Thinning our forest lands and Putting then to good use”

Recently I heard a brief news story that they were looking for funding on thinning our forest lands which needs to be done very badly.
There been plenty of mistakes of handling our harvest of timber. I don’t blame in pointing fingers on which and who messed up.
Now is time to make the best of these times.

Living in small community which people uses wood to heat there homes and at the last figure I heard our area had unemployment of all most 12%.

When it comes to thinning our forest I don’t believe as much such is thinned and just lay on the ground to rot. I do understand about replenishing the soil.
Take a certain area of forestland and mark 10 to 20 percent of trees less than 9 inches in diameter to be cut for firewood sale.
Each community will have a drop off site and their wood would be purchased.
The price of firewood depends on the cost of fuel and species of one is getting.
At this time I would say $100.00 a cord of mix species of firewood would be a fair price.
Each stove is different and length may very some but I would say 18 inches would be the ideal.

The area that one need to drop off the firewood would need someone to payee and other employees to do basically field work such as loading, and sorting firewood about the dryness of the wood

This wood could be sold to different people. Such as low income, disability, and people who don’t have the means to get firewood.
The prices such are done on a sliding scale of their income and people living in the household.
Now how much wood should a person have actual may be a harder question to figure out? Some homes our bigger, some are more energy efficient, plus the type of stove one is burning wood in.
I would suggest 3 cords of firewood to start with and if more is needed they then come back and purchase some at a little higher rate then the first three cords.

I believe this will take care of two or more birds in one sitting. It will benefit our forest lands buy thinning and growing other trees for a better harvest in the future, reducing fire danger, a chance for people in this economy of high unemployment to earn some money, and also help the people who heat there home with wood.

Please take this in to strong consideration I see it would be a true benefit for so many

Risking Taking

This week topic over at 12 Secrets is risk taking
But before that I would like to apologies for being late “I had a real bad headache”

Risk from Greek is “to sail around a cliff”
It seem lately I been hearing all about risk taking sermons Confession time…I think to myself “Right I’m going out and do_______something just something risky don’t these people live in the real world”

My father in law Dewayne never plan and anything did a lot of things on spur of the moment. “Thank god/dess it was never anything major”
My hubby would say at times he would just get a wild hair like go fishing and take off and forget something like part of the tackle

As most of my regular reader you know I want to open a ceramic shop and I was going to quite my job right after Bart graduated from high school in June of this year.
Due to the economic strain on the world markets.
Plus I don’t know how stable Murphy Job is and actual mine is more stable.

I often these people who take risk don’t have everyday living expense such as bills.
We don’t have a lot of bills but we do have bills and they need to be paid.
I feel at this time crafts or any art will have to be as a hobby or something as second type of income.
After I feel the economy is more stable I can take a large step in risk taking.
Actual my baby steps is seeing some light toward my creativity

Metal to Metal

I was going to post this Wednesday and I could of post it Tuesday. I’m ready for slow down in my life.
Over Martin Luther King Holiday well actual Sunday our Son Sawyer decided to come up for a visit.
So Sunday was real quite and Monday start out as usual I went to work and Sawyer was out and about.
Well he got in car accident.
I guess you want to hear what happen.

He was stop on the south hill at the corner of highway 95 south (South main) and Alderson lane right by Exxon station (Dycks) at a red light and soon as it turn green he went though the intersection toward the north and this drunk drivers pulls out of Zip Trip in front of sawyer and he rears ends him.
Well Sawyer didn’t think he was a bad person and actual seem quite nice.
But after the Idaho State patrolman showed up and start to give this guy a roadside drunkenness test and then he could see he was under the influence of alcohol.
Then to find out the guy was driving on suspended driver liaisons.
Plus he has had his liaison suspend from two other states.
So off to jail he went.

No bad injuries but his neck, shoulder, and back hurt so I took him over to the emergency room. We have medical on our vehicle insurance and the guy also had insurance but I don’t know if his company will cover us since he was driving with suspend driver liaisons and under the influence of alcohol.

I talk to him briefly and told him this Saturday the family was having a birthday bash for some of my Uncle and Aunts who is 79 years plus.
Since I had him on the phone I ask him if he was doing and he said he pretty sore still

I know enough about insurance companies they seem to wiggle out of there responsibility and no wonder they are getting sued

heads or Tails (feet/feat)

Today been a long day at work and I’m so glad that Heads or Tail and this week topic is Feet/Feat next week topic is "Loud"
Make any kind of post using "Loud" as your prompt. You can either use the word itself or post about something that IS loud.

My feet took me on a walk today.
Most day on my job my Donna dog Rex and I goes for a walk. We walk in neighborhood on which one time was Eaton. I would guess it was one of Bonners Ferry first Subdivision and the majority of the homes start to be built in 1900’s and last one was sometime in the 40’s.

So this is a place basically I start to move my feet on my journey up though Eaton neighborhood.
You’re looking up the Kooteni River toward Montana. I’m standing on oak street the train tracks in picture is the Burlington Northern.

My walk is a mile long and at the end of walk there some old farm place and at one time this road, Hemlock would have went up to an old dump.
So I took a picture before I turn around.

My feet takes me on a lot of adventures

We All Live Under the Same Sun

Today being a day to celebrate Martin Luther Kings birthday or human right day.
It seems it a day to do a community project though out the United States and even in our little community.
We have two groceries store here and both place is trying to fill up to school buses full of food for our local food bank.
Money tight so I bought an extra $10.00 worth of food for the drive.

But with unemployment at almost 12% people are hurting around here.
Wonder time…I wonder how many people has the attitude of seeing people who uses the food bank or any other service organization as being welfare leaches.
But I have faith they’ll get one Bus complete full of food

My son Sawyer came up for a visit I have seen him for a couple of months. He and his cousin Sam had been busy moving snow during the month of December.
I guess they did real good and rumor has it he made $10,000 in a month. But I won’t ask him about the amount he made simple it none of my business.
I guess there going to bid on some building that was damage during the winter snowstorm..
I guess college is going ok he says his algebra class is a bit of a struggle for him

It was a day that I considered quitting my job. Donna been having some heavier health issue and that isn’t the reason I was thinking of quitting my job today.
She been having heart pain the sack around her heart is giving her problems again and she is retaining more water the usual.
But here the thing she believes that the devil is back and is telling him/her to shut up and go.
See at one time she was yelling at demons over the phone. I sure hope she isn’t going back to that again.
Opinion time…I think she over plays the demon card
I believe there good and evil spirits around us and we have complete control over who comes in us.
But I think sometime she confuses the demon and mental illness.

When I came home the guy Murphy works with anther Murphy stop over. I was talking a few moments to him.
It sure doesn’t look good for the tree industry at all.
I thought they sold some tree to some new golf course but I’m not even sure of that now.
One of the owner credit account they cut back.
My son Sawyer has good credit and they cut him back by ½.
I would say my job is more stable then his at this time but July our new budget is coming do.
I’m hoping and praying nothing going to change now.

On the Edge

Today Murphy and I went to the Sunday Service at the gardenia center. I always been quite truthful on my blog and sometime a little harsh.
honest time…I real didn’t get much out of this service. The main speaker topic was “Out on a edge” taking risk.
I tried real hard to see it as a spiritual thing but at this time I only saw as a message from the flesh.
He talk of some films made by the Banff film festival It coming to Sandpoint at the Panida
I have my doubts that I’ll make it down. Murphy is on his waiting week of his new unemployment claim

I been hearing that the animal shelter and the goodwill got new buildings. So Murphy and I swung by an checked them out

Every month on the 25th I do “In the know” the up coming theme is “Write a letter to our newly elected President Obama and or his Cabinet”
I would love to hear you up coming ideal.
Get thinking I want to read all your wonderful ideals

Sometime We're Just Plain Stupid

As I was frying my self a couple of eggs over easy. I receive a collect call from one of Sawyer friend Heinz.
Well he got picked up for Drunk Driving and called me to get hold of my son Sawyer for bail of $800.00.
The only type of phone Sawyer has is a cell phone and the jail around here won’t let you call anyone on a cell phone.
Do I think Heinz was drunk? Let me say there is a real good chance and yes he should have been tossed in jail.
He could of hurt someone or even killed someone.
Plus I think it cost just under $150 for getting his car out of impound.
Now he has to go to court and I’m not sure what will happen but it going to cost him in lot of ways.
Higher insurance rates and have to pay for an alcohol assessment.
What every his is fine and court cost will be.
Then also they had a charge on him pending.
He went to court for trying to buy beer underage and they basically told him if he had no alcohol related charge for two years and then they would drop it but if he get an alcohol charge they would bring the purchasing alcohol as someone who is under 21.
Statement time…I know the prefect punishment for Heinz for him would be have him call his mom up she still pretty well wants him to her apron strings.
Then also have him attend 4 Catholic masses
I know that would get to him

I went to town today and got some things.
But I stop in at the dollar depot and got two things to add to my stockings stuffers for 09 one is some brown shoelaces and a hole punch

Well I’ve been wanting to post on something how wonderful my hubby Murphy is.
We have been together for 25 years.
I have been asked what the secret how to keep a marriage together.
Oh I wish I knew. Let say some time he been a royal pain in the ass and the other day he been a saint.
All of the time he is pretty loving husband and father.
But all in all I sure grateful for all he is and does.
I see married couples look right though there partners and this bugs me. I don’t believe for moment that Murphy every looked though me.
But I’m not stupid and he doesn't agrees or see eye to eye with everything I do.
I also echo the last sentence above.
He is very helpful around the place and knows taking care of the home is no easy task.
Right now he laid off from work and he been keeping up on the house.
Plus he is an excellent cook.

Oh The Mind Is Wonderful

I been a part of blog book group and on my side bar there a link to it. Just click on the book.

Well today topic is where I one might get there ideals to create.
I guess mine comes in many forms.
But I have to give credit to our brain that some how comes up with creative ideals.
Believe time…The creator gave us a brain to use.
I don’t have any one source for creative out let but I have many.
It strange some time how something I’ll look at, smell or sound will get the juices going to create.
But there been time I’ll see something I can see something in it but it needs tweaking just something and I’ll walk away and in due time I’ll have an ah-ha moment.

I’m moving along on Santa. Confession time…I’m starting to not get upset with time.
I’m learning to appreciative for time even if it less then an hour to create

About two week ago I did this meme called where in world will this word take me.
I’m doing this closes Friday to first and last quarter of each moon.
So I pick three words which you place in your search box on blog site and paste and copy the first and last sentence.
The words are nasty, north, and never.

NastyI’m tired from work all though I’m not sure who got up the most to pee. Murphy or I.
But I have to say it something real don’t interest me going to

NorthI real like the way the moon appeared in the sky last night although I didn’t get much of picture maybe the reason is. “It was so cold out side and the wind was coming straight out of the north with gust up to 40 miles an hour.”
Still have a survey going on my side bar until Christmas Eve on number of present one is buying.

NeverSo I didn’t sleep that entire well and had this head ache most of the day one of those dull ones.
Well I hear all sort of stories about this group and as most religion I believe other faith want to shine a negative light on it.

Note time…Nasty and Never took me to the same post so on Never I used the second sentence

Around This Area

I’m tired from work all though I’m not sure who got up the most to pee. Murphy or I.
So I didn’t sleep that entire well and had this head ache most of the day one of those dull ones. Plus Donna was driving me nuts anyhow at time I don’t believe she want to get well.
Let me tell you I’ve seen a lot nasty client one was to take care of. Not all people who needs home care is sweet some are right down an ass.

The air here been stagnated and fog been just sitting in and it going to be like this for the whole weekend.
The one thing I want to do is fine my check register. I’m clueless where I stuck it. Other then nothing else plan

Well the job rate real sucks around here and the rate is almost at 12% unemployment I figure my job is a lot stable then Murphy job the tree nursery business is based a lot to do with the building industry.
I have heard that they had a large contract of trees to be sold to some golf courses but with how things are going on market that can do 180 spin.
My job is funded though Medicaid and I know there being also cut back in funding.
It been a while I heard anything about cut backs for the state budget and last figure I heard was 2% across the board and if this is so and they use this to cut my hours I would loose 15 to 30 minute a week.
If I felt the housing and mortgage crises was on the road of recovery or stablelized There would be almost 100% change I would get out home care

Bad news is something seem to bring out the questions or the negative coverage of a story. I can see Ruby Ridge from my front window.
It seem like when I explain to stranger where I live they want to know about Randy Weaver and Ruby Ridge.
But that isn’t the news I want to talk about now.
There this church organization that is up by the Canadian border here is part of the F.C of L.D.S they have a church located in Bountiful, BC well they made the front page of our Local Paper
I see them quite a bit in our local story shopping they all look so giddy and happy. But a few thing I notice all of the women hair is long and some how French braid and front of their hair is what I would call poof poo it cure don’t like they don’t cut there hair.
There pretty well covers from head to toe and they never were prints just solid colors.
The women never travel alone there in the store in multi.
I hardly see any of the men around I only saw one of them and his wife walk right behind him in prefect step.
Thought time…When she was behind this man it would have been prefect time to kick him in the ass
But I’m not an obedient wife but still I’m not a defined wife either.
Well I hear all sort of stories about this group and as most religion I believe other faith want to shine a negative light on it.
But I have to say it something real don’t interest me going to

I'm so Happy For The Cow That Jumped Over the Moon

Well I been busy not doing anything with great importance but yet busy.
So I thought I would catch you up on the news.

The other day when I was in the thrift store I found this carrot juicer for $4.99 and it worked great.
Made a some carrot juice but when I make carrot juice I add some other veggies in it and this time I even add a jalapeno pepper it sure gave it some kick

I told you I was going to make up two Santa bags one for adult and the other one for kids.
I was planning to purchase 3 gifts a month and they all needed to be under $2.50.
Well I’m doing stocking stuffers the same way.

So other day I got some decorated for under $2.00 each which will go in my boys stocking.

I was in safeway and they had a discount shopping cart and got a two pack of scotch tape for $1.00 it seems like anyone can always use a roll of tape.

Well I join tops and we finely had our Christmas party and it was fun at our one of our local café called the chic-chop.
We had a gift exchange and I got a wash rag and a oven mitt

After the party I went up and got my friend Quenelle and took her into town she is the one who just lost her hubby.
She hasn’t drove in years and she need to do some errands around town.
So I drove out to Katka and got her.
Wishing time…I sure hope everything goes well for her she has an strong spirit and she is 61 and can apply for her widow benefit but hopeful it will go though and this Aug she will be 62 and then she will get a little more then.
Like us their expense wasn’t all that much

I have some late breaking info there a valentine give away over at Pea it looks like all sort of goodies to many to list it worth checking out.

I just talk to Quenelle and she had good news about her social security widow pension and she will be getting a little over $1,000 a month.
I was worrying about how much she was going to get. Her husband got hurt on job in mid 80’s and has on disability (S.S.D) and she never worked out before.
I wasn’t sure how social security would handle her as a widow

Bless Are My Friends

We’re planning to go down to post falls and visit Sawyer and look for some shoes for me.
But my friend Qunelle electoral was having trouble.
You see they live off the main grid and her husband Michael always taken care of that. But Murphy and I went up today and he re-hooked the batteries up.
But I have to give credit due least she knew how to shut it down and knee pretty well were everything was.

At first I was a little concern on how things was going to be with her prevalence. Michael got disability (SSD) and Quenelle never worked outside of the home and never paid into the system on her own.
She won’t be 62 until August and then she can draw off of his but I’m not sure if there going to base it on ½ of his disability or ½ of what he would of drawn from social security if he worked up to regular social security.
But she talk to someone in social security office and the person who she talked to she should be able to start to draw it now.
I advice her not to go hog wild on her spending when one deals with the government and red tape a lot of time they don’t know what the right hand is doing along the side of the left hand.
Plus she has some cash stuck back and their bill per month is under $200.00.
But I figure she will do just fine on her own

Murphy and I went out deer creek way yesterday to visit Lewalla we had a nice chit chat.
She might go to work one-day week doing home care for some lady.
Home care is nothing new to her and she knows the ropes on how to handle real ass-hole.
Believe me not all people who you go in and take care are nice some are real ass-holes.
But she done home care and she pretty well know the ropes.
The main thing is to never let them know that your prison for the money your getting on the job.
We took a walk up to skin creek and the road was icing and we did the penguin shuffle

Dream Board (Wolf)

In January I heard it is the full moon is called Wolf Moon although I know a lot of animal are having a hard time and takes a lot of energy to just basically move.
I even have a hard time in January after the holiday rush and still not much light for the sun.
I sometime don’t have an energy to do much or simple term. I become “lazy”. I have to say most every day I create or work toward my ceramic shop. It might be applying one color to a piece or doing some pricing. At this time I’m pricing the canister sets.

Jamie is now the host of Dream board.
I been slowly putting together a ceramic studio and I might change that word “studio” but for now it will do.
One thing I did I start some files and been colleting piece.
This file is called A to D which I have dishes, cats, clocks, candles, cups, and all sort of things.
It not all true I’m looking for pieces but I’m looking for color, texture, and design. Every piece can be change into many technique no two piece need to every look the same

three thing I was taught by both of my parents is not to be selfish, to be grateful, and thrifty.
Confession time..it took me years that being thrifty was not something to ashamed of
Well I had a wonderful goal for Christmas of 09. I’m going to make up a Santa bag one for adult and the other for children bag.
The goal is to fill each bag that everyone will receive two present and each gift won’t cost of $2.50.
So it means yard sales, thrift store, re-gift, and great bargains where every they may be found

On the way home from work I stop at local thrift store and did some shopping for Santa bag

I found these two new or they’re sure new looking towels. I paid $1.49 each. I might go back and dig a little and see if there is a wash cloth

I picked up two mugs and each cost me .29¢ each. One has a saying “ I can’t do a thing with my hair. Hell I can’t even find it”

I know the book I got at a Christmas craft show someone was selling uses book and I believe I paid a .25¢ for and the bells with mice was at our home. This was my mom home and now Murphy and I live in it.
So I believe the bell set was here but I could be wrong

Acknowledge your creative self

Chapter One Acknowledge your creative self

I guess I have some creative talents I never thought of them being anything great. I can embroidery, interior design, repair and fix quite a few items, scapebooking which I’m copying off my blog and every 25 pages or so I make a special page for my boys.
Someday I’ll give them it not sure when.
I don’t mind getting down and dirty when I create so gardening and ceramics vast interest and joy.
I’ve played the violin for 7 years and I’m fairly good at problem solving

confession time when people are amazed or tells me one of my pieces are nice I would challenge them by saying “ Oh it nothing do you want me to point out my mistakes” I never real looked at my self as a creative person because I don’t have degree in any of these creative arts

Before the days of plastic bags my mom who was thrifty and I want to draw. She would let me decorate groceries brown bags and my dads sandwich bags.
My mom during the holidays would make big batch of sugar cookies. The neighborhood kids and I would be at the kitchen table decorating these sugar cookies, and when I was in Kindergarten I got highly praise and my teacher showed the entire class the clown I did.
As for ceramics I found a ceramic shop and did a piece and was hooked on it, start to cast ceramics and ended up buying the shop.
Thankful time…my mom taught me how to be a free thinker and to make cessions on my own
As for rest of my creative talents not sure where I picked them up but I’m still learning and growing

Well I start being creative with my ceramics once again. I real don’t have much time to be creative as I like but it place to start up again.
I know this piece is a little off for this time of year but Yule season will come about again

I have a small infection in my mouth a little tender to touch.
I’ll be back in dentist in two weeks to check the crown out but in mean time I’m going to let nature take it course.
Honestly time…I real have problem with people who has dentures and won’t were them

Well I was hoping for better results at my T.O.P.S weigh in. But I did loose ¼ pound. But since holidays it been hard for me to get back on the wagon full fledges.

What Metal Are You

You Are Silver

You are a flexible person. Being open to opportunities in life has served you well.

You are very polished and sophisticated. You're probably in a higher class than you were born into.

You are naturally popular and quite influential. You are a bit of a trend starter among people you know.

And while you are well liked, you don't let it go to your head. You remain contemplative and wise.

Heart Trrending News

I was hoping not to bring some heartrending news or I should say not as much. But a good one down pour sometime is the best

Last night my friend Quenelle called and she was distress and I first I didn’t know who it was on the phone. She was saying “My husband passed away” and then I said who is your “husband” see I wasn’t sure who it was.
But I didn’t want to see uncaring to even a stranger.
Then she said “Michael” and I perked up.
She then started to tell me what happen that Michael collapsed and they could revive him.
So I ask her if she want us as Murphy and I to come out and she said “yes” I kind of think we were the first friend she called.
She called her parents and there son Murphy.
Both of us got dress and were getting ready to head up there for comforting her but she called back and one of her neighbor friends was coming over.
I talked to her this morning and she said she want to be a lone and take down the Christmas tree and ask if we could stop by tomorrow and help her.
I offered an ear for her and she might call me this afternoon.
What she explain and from talking to her the day before I would guess her hubby had some type of heart type.
It sound like the same story what happen to my mom and thought she caught some stomach bug

Couple of our family member suffered though some illness.

Murphy sister Susan who lives in Illinois thought she was having a heart attack and went into some hospital and they found out she wasn’t having a heart attack but they did fine out she had high blood pressure.
Murphy mom had a heart attack and died when she 44 not quite 45.
But I understand that she had high blood pressure and her legs would swell up.
Opinion time…I don’t think there dad would have been an easy person to live with

Then there is my cousin Alice who ended up in ICU but I’m not quite sure what is wrong with her.
She was bleeding from the rectum quite rapidly and ended up in emergency room because she lost quite a bit of blood.
After some test they found out she had a tumor (non cancers) size of grapefruit. In her stomach area and for some reason there not going to move it but put in some type of pump in her and give her either chemo or radiation treatment. It even might be more.
But I don’t know when is all to happen

My Uncle Henry just had a hernia operation that ran into some difficulty. Most people now I know people who have had a hernia operation are in the hospital less then 3 days.
He was there for two weeks that they ran into some trouble.
I know his bowels were twist 360° degree; he puffed up, and had an irregular heartbeat.
But now he is home and can recover in his home that he is more comfort and freedom

Today Is Thursday, March 28, 2024: This Is What Happened.

I have been putting together my bullet journal for the second quarter. I’m so thankful for the white-out. I almost made a calendar for the ...
