But Honest time…Let say if one person loose a member of there family I feel compassion for that family it doesn’t matter the situation there in.
I know some fairly wealthy people and let say there making $100,000 a year and following year there making $99,800 and they’re feeling sorry for there self. I real don’t have much compassion for them

The other day my dad favor news host died William F Buckley who was the host of Firing Line although my political thoughts are different then my parents do to I became an independent thinker and our life situation is different then my parents.
The only think I remember my dad would turn up the television when firing line was on and soon as it was over turn down the volume.
If his show, which he liked, the volume was turned up and any one else show the volume wasn’t aloud up.
I don’t recall nothing about William F Buckley JR only that my dad watch his show firing line.

Baked Dinner Tonight

Murphy messed up his back and went to the doctor and he prescribed Hydroocodone and Cyclobenzaprine. But he is getting better but still uncomfortable he been walking bent over for last few days. This morning he was standing straight up but now he back slumping

Went to check on my client Donna she had a D en C yesterday and took her dog Rex for a walk.
One of her neighbors in Apartment building calls and D en C “Dustin and Cleaning” she is quite a bit better.

I went and got a few things at the store like ground beef 85% lean is at $1.97 a pound and got 2 larger packs and re wrap them then but them in the freezer.
To night Dinner is meat loaf, bake potato. Of course with sour cream or cottage cheese on it, plus I got a squash.
I pull chicken out of the freezer and for tomorrow night dinner it will be chicken and dumpling.
A while a go Chicken was on sale for I think right around .67¢ a pound and now it on sale for .97¢ a pound

I was proud of my self I been getting better at better healthy habits last few times I didn’t pick up anything from the bakery, candy or chip department and been doing a little walking.

The other day I got some flower seeds White Sweet Rocket, Nasturium Black Velvet, Cleome Color Fountain which was free, and wild Bergamont. I don’t see any bare ground yet except the flower bed under our front window but there still mound of snow in the front part of flower bed

Tackle It Tuesday. (Cabinet)+Heads or Tails (Wonder)

As I posted in pass about us doing our kitchen cabinets well we got the top ones done. When I inherited this house when my mom died it had dark cabinet and the kitchen reminded me of being in a cave.



We priced out new cabinets and even new doors ouch for our pocket book. So Murphy and I start to think maybe we could make our own. We talk to our brother in-law Heinz and he told us to use a fine tooth saw blade for the skill saw.
So we went to Home depot and bought a piece of oak plywood for $50.00 and some stain for $10.00 we have less then $80 in it.
Sure they’re some minor mistakes that when we get around doing the base cabinets we now know what we did wrong.



We want to change the stove hood.

Anther project I start and it going to take a long time to get this one done.
I don’t recall every saying that I’ve been searching my family history and now I decided to print off my blog.
I bought two binders and plastic sheet things to put the pages in. Some day I’ll be giving these two my boys. Not sure when maybe when I’m pushing 90 or so.
My boys wouldn’t appreciative it now about were there family came from or stories.
So far I got 46 pages printed off and I’ve posted over a thousand times
I wonder what people will learn about blogs in the feature about our past.
Page 23 line 8 it goes as “about my blog to my brother in law Earl. Not telling my brother in law my user name he would be trying” I know it not a complete sentence but that’s ok.

Ouch and Double That

On March 15, 2005 I was gripping that gas was at $2.09 a gallon.
Today gas it up to $3.30 a gallon.
Murphy did something to his back he can’t straighten up. He in a lot of pain I suggest him to see a doctor or chiropractor but as a man he won’t always listen.

Creativity and the Empress

I recently drew the The Empress which represent creativity but I like to give my take on creativity.

I brought to life into this world Sawyer and Bart. I don’t have any desire to bring anymore in now. Confession time…I want 8 kids at one time what was I thinking.
I truly enjoy all sort of creation and do I have a favor “NO” ok I’m not all that keen on violent images and it doesn’t matter what media one is using.
Confession time…When something violent comes on TV. I’ll cover my eyes I guess I’m a wimp.
But I enjoy all kinds of creation it would take me pages and pages of what I enjoy. I see a lot of beauty out in world and it doesn’t matter what time of season it is even with all of our snow we have now cover the earth.
I find snow drifts design quite interesting.

As I’ve been posting about some home designing we been doing around here and Murphy and I always don’t see eye to eye on every thing we learn to respect each other opinion and most of the time we can come to some type of compromise.
I don’t have a favor type of interior style. I wish I had a room for every type of theme they are. But I live in no mansion.

Ok talking about interior design. My mom had a mint green kitchen with harvest gold in it. To me it real doesn’t sound appealing to me but actual it real did blend nicely together

I like the creative of writing to I think we all have wonderful ways of expressing our world by words all so the same but yet different.
Each blog I read out there it makes me laugh, some time shed a tear, get a knot in my throat, get up set, think what a jerky situation, and even a good belly laugh.
But all of human have the same life nothing real to outrages or very dull. I’m thankful for that

I been doing a little creating with my ceramics. I actual got one pieces done and one to high light.
If someone was going to ask if I had a favor pieces I would have to say “no” but I like to do every piece different and it doesn’t mean any big changes

This week photo theme is Wooden and I thought of quite a few things that would be easy to fall in this category.

We been doing quite a bit with wood Murphy and I hung made new cabinet doors for my kitchen on the North side of my kitchen.
I’ll have a picture of that up Tuesday for “Tackle it Tuesday” Then anther thing we are working on wood is our stair for the basement but that for a later date.
Now we done a few wood projects I’m thinking of redoing Murphy Grandmother Charlotte table. I’m not sure how old it is but Murphy said she always had this old table and I think it would be neat all done up and end our dinning area
But it probably has tons of stains and paint on it and I would have someone with dipping tub to take off the older crap.
We’re not set up to handle the chemicals to strip off stains and paint in such a large item.
Now since I did this post I bet now you wish I would show you the table I’m talking about it behind the old trunk.

I haven’t played a practical joke on anyone for a very long time. One time my dad and I went to horse tackle place and had to get some type of leather oil for the saddles and only thing they had was a empty bottle of Mac Naughton and the leather oil and my mom who real didn’t drink all that much decided to make her self a cock tail with Mac Naughton and she kept looking at the oil floating on top with this funny look on her face.
My dad and I had to keep turning our face away because we want to crack up

Nothing fancy mine our basic silver with top that screws off and glass bottom on the bottom quarter to see if your low on salt or pepper

I real haven’t got any near future plans to go any where. But a few places been on my mind go back to Michigan to see my dad family and go over to an area in Eastern/Central Washington what they call the dry fall area to explore around.

I don’t care anything with strong cologne in it because I have asthma and a some strong cologne will kick in my asthma

Unusual Beauty

I don’t know how long these webs been up in corner of our home. Well maybe I should look up more often to see the beauty that may be close by.

It been mighty cold so far during the month of February usual it hits 50 degrees and I’m starting to wonder if it going to get there this year.
Little over a week to go, until March now.
I just started to wonder if March is coming in like a lamb or coming in like a lion.
Took a quick peak in last February it didn’t quite make 50 but in high 40’s.

Heads or Tails (Letter "P")

This week our host skittles picked Heads and anything with the letter “p”
I first thought of lot of things that I could blog about letter “P” as I was making a mental list when I got to the word “Pray” and that was it.
My prayers are nothing fancy and pretty darn short. I figure god/dess are pretty busy listening in and who know who else eaves drops on our prays.

My prayers goes as:

Heavenly Father-Mother Earth
Please make sure those who are traveling and keep my Aunt Bea and Uncle Henry as they head to Arizona.
Comfort Pea and her friend Steve.
As Murphy and I are cutting doors for our cabinets watch over us.
Give my friend the extra strength she may need.

We meaning Murphy and I finely came to an agreement how we want to do the kitchen cabinet.
So it's good bye dark cabinets in the kitchen.

This scripture is from the quran and I understand there is more to this verse then what I got posted.
I understand the word “conceive” is to accept something. I don’t or won’t complete accepted something that is man made such as religion of any type.
No it doesn’t matter the type of religion it my be or not be.
Does it mean I’m rejecting god/dess love “No” actual I enjoy having a personal relationship ship with in.
Does this mean at time I falter “Yes”
I have some confusion about matter of spiritual matters. The christen say accept Jesus as your personal saver.
Then Islam says accept the teaching of Muhammad as your personal saver.
Then if one doesn’t accept one of these teaching their called “nonbelievers” or if they have a different form of worship they are in occult.
God/dess gave us the heart to love and receive love.
Once we truly love from our heart and wish no one warm but goodness from our heart. We would live in a better world.

Ziggy was Callie my client before Donna.

It's Actual Going Well

We went to see our friends Earl and Qunella up on Katka Mountain. Qunella is trying to start a catered complete wedding at her place.
She does have lovely garden but I don’t think she realize how much effort it takes to run a business.
I don’t know how many time she change her domain name but when she use the word “Rocky Mountain” with the term catered, garden, and wedding Opinion time… it was a little much
I guess at this time she hasn’t quite got her site up. I knew she was doing some changes on her site and soon as her new site is up I’ll post a link to it.
But I took over some blog site that is wedding related.
She made us some chocolate because it was my birthday (Feb 12)

I been griping about my printer for some reason it doesn’t want to print in black ink. I took where the ink cartilages set in the printer pulled it out and cleaned it with a q-tip and it still prints shaded in black ink.
I’m starting to wonder if it is the type of ink I’m using the other color seem to print out fine.
I want to print out my blog and put it protected sleeves and give a copy to each of my boys and at this rate is slower the molasses

I never liked my kitchen cabinets and I painted them an off white with a faded blue jean color and I real never liked that either but I didn’t like the dark cabinets.
So Murphy and I started to sand the frames of the cabinets and we both real liked it. So we went to home depot to look at doors to match the cabinet didn’t have anything real in to match, and price too high.
So we can buy 2 piece of oak plywood for a little over $50 each. Just to buy for my top cabinet doors it would run us over $300.

I been painting ceramics now for while in evening but haven’t got anything complete yet

Number 48 and Heads or Tail (LOVE)

48 Years ago I was born.
My mom want to have 3 children and had trouble getting pregnant my dad and her was married for 7 years and she went to doctor wondering why she couldn’t have a baby and the doctor told her “They where sorry it unlikely that you’ll every have a baby of your own.”
So if someone told my mom that she couldn’t do something she was stubborn enough to do it to show him or her she could.
So the next month she was pregnant with the only time and with me.
I think my mom had some hormonal issues not once in her life she had a regular period and I guess she went to see the doctor because she wasn’t sure what it was. I was kicking inside of her.
I guess she had an easy pregnancy and delivery with me and never became pregnant again.

Perk Me Up

I know there not many books of woman in the bible and I decided because I was born on 2 month and the 12th day.

Below is my personal take on it.

I know this all happen a long time ago and we came along ways
To me these women was strictly for a rich powerful king way of relieving him self. I don’t believe all men are even close having this thought but yet they are some.
Confession time...Even at times I been been pretty shadow and even now.
But it real got me thinking how I have the attitude now of being married so many year is “It only my hubby I can go around looking like a slob”
I’m a kept woman but I usual ware a undies, bra, jeans, some type of pull over top, shoes, and socks. I haven’t done much more then that no assories of any type, colored or perm my hair, and no make up.
Maybe it time I do some simple perk me up

As dinner was in the oven I came down and had things written out and some how I delete it all.
I guess it wasn’t met to go up this evening.

Yesterday we went down and visit Sawyer in Post Falls and his mommy (me) had to bake him a cake and I don’t know why a plain and simple pound cake sound great. Plus I never made one with cream cheese in it.
Sawyer real liked this cake.
His comment was it was heavy and good.

CREAM CHEESE POUND CAKE
Cake Batter
2 cups bleach all-purpose flour (spoon flour into dry measure cup and level off)
1 teaspoon of baking powder
½ pound of butter (2 sticks) butter, soften
One 8 oz package of cream cheese, soften
2 cups of sugar
2 teaspoon of vanilla
6 large eggs, at room tempture
Rum Glaze
3 cups confections sugar
2 tablespoon of white rum
2 tablespoon of water.
One 12 cup tube pan or bundt pan, butter and flour.

1) Set rack in the lower third of the oven and preheat to 325 degrees
2) Stir in flour and baking powder together in a bowl, mixing well.
3) Place the butter, cream cheese, and sugar in the bowl of a heavy-duty mixer and beat at medium speed with paddle attachment until very light about 5 minutes. Beat vanilla. One at a time beat in four of the eggs, beating until smooth after each addition.
4) Reduce mixer speed to low and beat in one-third of the flour, then anther egg, beating until smooth after each addition. Stop the mixer occasionally to scrape the buttom and sides of the bowl with rubber spatula. Beat in anther third cup of flour, then, after the flour been absorbed, the last egg, Scrape again and beat in the last of the flour.
5) Use the rubber spatula to give a final mix to the batter, then scrape it into the prepared pan and smooth the top (See above)
6) Bake for about 65 to 75 minutes or until cake is well risen, cracked on top, and welled colored and a tooth pick inserted into centered emerges dry.

7) Cool the cake in the pan for a few minutes, then un-mold it unto a rack and turn right side up to finish cooking.
8) To make the glaze, combine sugar, rum, and water in a medium saucepan and stir until smooth, then heat over very low heat just until lukewarm. Drizzle of over cake with a spoon, or use a parchment paper cone, or pour glaze over to cover entire cake.

Sunday I watch the super bowl and sense 1972 had any foot ball 17-0 was the Miami Dolphins and they did take the Super bowl that season.
Then the Patriotic had a 17-0 season but we all know that the Giants took the super bowl.
For the first time in 36 years that a foot ball team went 17 wins and 0 lost.

This evening I will be participating in my first Caucus and I was leaning toward John Edwards but of course anyone who don’t act like a spoiled child doesn’t last long in political arena.
I’m not sure how I stand on Clinton and Obama their domestic policy get a tie score with me.
But think it first time we had an African American, a Woman, and Mormon running for the office of President of the United States.

Plus Bart and I took someone to small claim court for the first time.
One of Sawyer friend was living with us and his pick up was down and he had permission to drive Bart pick-up and he came back and took off in middle of the night with Bart car and he ended up hitting a deer with it which happens here. But he told us that he had full coverage and kept telling us that the insurance would be out and looked at it. I don’t recall if it was Murphy or Bart went down to the insurance place to check out what Sawyer friend had for insurance and found out that he let it go or cancel it.
Bart got a $100 bucks out of Karl and when Bart asked for more he said, “I have bills” doesn’t everyone? We weren’t expecting to be paid in one lump sum but he want people to be responsible for their action.

Basic I’ve done the same thing around the place I been purging around the place but it all been paper about 98% or more and some time my paper stuff just get out of control.
Actual Murphy been doing quite a bit around here washing the wall and ceilings, plus some painting touch ups.

We haven’t had a January like this since 1996-97 and actual that year we had more snow. I actual find it peaceful and warm it looks like the earth is covered with a pretty soft blanket.



The hottest day in January was on the 31st 38.7 f or 3.7 c
The coldest day in January was on the 21st –13 f or 25c
The high average for the month is 27.5 f or 2.5c
The low average for the month is 14.1 f or (opps I didn’t get it)
During the month of January it snowed 27 inches or 685.8 Millmetters
