Living With In the World.

This is verse is from the Quran Chapter 12 verse 30th.

And the Day when the Hour will be established, the criminals will be in despair.

I haven’t seen were wrongdoing of the mind, heart, soul, or even physical doing to any one or even self-real benefits anyone or anything.
I believe it better to “Love of an anther mainly from the heart”

From my Tarot card deck I drew the “The Fool”

At #0, the Fool is the card of infinite possibilities. The bag on the staff indicates that he has all he needs to do or be anything he wants, he has only to stop and unpack. He is on his way to a brand new beginning. But the card carries a little bark of warning as well. Stop daydreaming and fantasizing and watch your step, lest you fall and end up looking the fool.

I hope people of my age learn and except “reality” in the positive and negative realm of the world and live with in.
But we are all unique loving individuals.
All of our life we have dreams and goals which we all like to fulfill but there many steps we have to take and I’m not talking about “wishing upon a star” But each step we make toward our dream we should be thankful.
If we make our goal happen by doing wrong to one self or others nothing good will come.

Christmas Well Recieved Part Two.

More of an up date on the holiday happening we had Christmas Eve Dinner and Christmas Dinner over at my in-laws Faith and Heinz.
We had the usual Oyster Stew and Pizza for Christmas Eve dinner and other goodies to go along with.
Heinz Son in law did Christmas Dinner and he ran a tip- top kitchen ship.
I think it would be great if from now on women did Christmas Eve dinner and men did Christmas dinner.
Plus clean up. I wouldn’t have any complaint about switching the meals around.

Sawyer had to come up from Courd’Alene for the Christmas gathering and he stop by and picked up his cousin Bruce and brought him over.
Feeling time…I thought it was very sad how everything played out with My brother in law Earl and Tadita I would never wish what happen to them on anyone But I was glad that Bruce came over for a while.

I got a little something from my client Patty and her dog Rex. They gave me a mug with an angel and Patty told me “that I was an angel” and some coffee with raspberry flavor which I like.
Sawyer took sniff of it and thought it smell good.

Murphy got me some goose yard decoration for Christmas. Both Boys and I thought “Decoys” for hunting.

Part of my 150 on line gift card I bought my self an Eagle Cd and Bart called it “Old Fuggy Music”

Christmas Well Recieved Part One.

First things first I’m clueless how many reads my blog but I didn’t want to say anything to after the opening of Christmas Present. That I won a 150 on line gift card for Amazon dot com by a give away that Teeny Manolo was offering and I bought a few gifts that way.

I’ve said before we due an adult gift exchange at my in-laws for Christmas and I got this light brown blanket and I bought my self a crock pot and also bought sawyer one too.
Also Sawyer received a smaller crock-pot in the gift exchange a two quart one.
We suggest that we re-gift it but make sure it doesn’t go back to the family Christmas party.

This year Murphy got two books from his family one of the books is on gems and the other is on fossils. We look looking out in the woods for fossils and interesting things such as rocks and gems.
I got him a nice pair of gloves he has a hard time fitting into gloves and exchanging them for socks.

We got Sawyer some tools that one would use in cooking.

Murphy got this water fountain item from the gift exchange and we both find it relaxing.

More about Christmas later

A younger View of the World

I thought I would find a Buddhist Scriptures on Buddha by a search on google.

"If such children do live at home, they leave early in the morning and do not return until late at night. Never do they ask about the welfare of their parents or make sure that they don't suffer from heat or cold. They do not inquire after their parents' well being in the morning or the evening, nor even on the first and fifteenth of the lunar month. In fact, it never occurs to these unfilial children to ever ask whether their parents have slept comfortably or rested peacefully. Such children are simply not concerned in the least about their parents' well being. When the parents of such children grow old and their appearance becomes more and more withered and emaciated, they are made to feel ashamed to be seen in public and are subjected to abuse and oppression."

I found being a parent at times a very hard job. Confession time…I didn’t like sitting boundary for my boys. but I knew it was necessary for them to grow up to be well adjusted adults.
Sure they even debated Murphy and I.
Even at time the boys would come up with something like this “ When you get older I’m going to stick you in a crappy Nursing home”
confession time…At time I wonder if they would just stick us in some un caring nursing home because we wouldn’t just let them run about

My dad died before my Grandma Olive and when we where living the cemetery. My moms mom asked if she would be ok money wise.
My Grandmother never had any big retirement and was offering my mom help.
I guess you never stop being a parent.

Children has funny ideal about the world even I did. I would go off to school and somehow the Breakfast dishes and Lunch dishes were done and I was clueless and thought that part of the world didn’t happen. Once I appear in a certain part of the world it start to happen because I entered.
My dad worked on the railroad and he worked very hard and I had this ideal don’t ask me where I came up with this one.
I thought if it was to hot or to cold people didn’t have to work and on those days my father would sit in a nice cozy place with his working buddies and enjoy the day.
Honest time…My parents never told or acted that the world revolved around me

It funny how a youngster preserves the world around them and different stages of how we view life, as we grow.

Today Murphy and I was invited up to our friends that lives on Katka Mountain. Quenella made all sorts of goodies.
One of there neighbors brought some thumb print cookies full of raspberry jam.
My mom used to make thumb print cookies.

I’m not sure which real goodie I liked best. I real like Quenelle short bread type of cookies which melts in your mouth.
Or the thumb print cookies.
There was some type of round shape bar bread like thing and it was soaked heavy in brandy.
Then there was round shape bar bread like thing and heavy in the peanut butter.
It was pretty good tasting but I think it was probably more funny watching me eat.
A few of them made smart-ass comment about taking a picture.
I couldn’t see my face but I only can guess.
Confession time…I guess I would be attempted to grab the camera and take a picture

I’ve like Quenella and Earl Nativity set.
I wish I got a few more pictures of there holiday decoration around the place.

But we had a good time.

Giving

I was going to get this up earlier but sometime I’m late. I live in a very small area and we don’t have a lot of the well-known charities in our local area.
Toys for Tots is a well-known charity in our area.
This year we didn’t have the Salvation army kettles
We have a thing called “Wishing Tree” it somewhat like the Tree of Sharing in Spokane.
Our tree was located at Larson store in down town Bonners Ferry and tree has a tag on it pick a tag and fill it.
I picked a 4 year girl.

First I want to say I’m sorry that the picture are blurry and I’ve taken to Larson so they will be able to delivery them.

I picked up a few piece of clothing a red and pink turtle neck top. A black Hoodie, Then also in clothes line I got a pair of gloves with a stocking cap.
I didn’t get my client Patty or her dog Rex any thing but I took the money of what I would of spent on her and bought the gloves and cap for the girl.

Then I picked up two games Chutes and Ladders. My boys had this game when they were young.
I also got a memory game. I’m real bad at playing memory.
This girl like anything Scobby doo. I looked on amazon dot com and looked under dvd section for the movie but I couldn’t find it only the T.V series and it was more then I could or willing to spend.
She like horses, so I got her Princess Stallion dvd.

The last toy I got was a set of wooden blocks and I know my boys would built things for hours and I notice little girls will built too.

On Christmas Eve we go over to Murphy sister Faith place and have gift exchange on Christmas Eve.
This year it going to be a little different we’re letting the older teenager be part of the adult give exchange.
Last year we had and teen exchange but there not going to be that many teens this year.
I believe the little kids everyone bought for them.

I tried to have Bart pick out his own present but he couldn’t figure out what to get. Thinking that I knew what to buy or if someone makes a funny face I don’t think anyone is rude enough to make a smart-ass comment.
But still Bart could say something to me for getting that gift.
Oh well “If you think you could do better do it your self’

The Ice Cream Ball looks like a blast.
I made up or should say I need to finish my gift basket for my part of the gift exchange.

Murphy and I went into Larson to get his gift for the exchange and he got two pair of nice wool socks.
We had been down in Courd’Alene area helping his nephew Sam out.
He wished he picked up the gift down there. Wool sock would be two to three dollars cheaper.
But like a man wait till the last minute to get his gift.
He say he hasn’t got mine but I’m not sure if he bluffing or not.

I’m not sure what Sawyer buying for the exchange he moved down with his cousin Sam family and is working at Sears in Courd’Alene

Tackle It Tuesday.

I’m not doing big project this time and my first project is to get ride of B.O (Bad Order) from my home. Not sure even how to take a picture of it.
First thing I did was to take care of the area around the drain in the basement, I took a bucket of spic and span and dumped it on floor and took shop broom and scrubbed.
I wasn’t quite sure how I was to tackle my next project of getting rid of B.O. I need to work on the closet area in the hall way and 2 of the bedrooms.
So I bought a little green machine at a yard sale and decided to give it a try in the closets that I want to do.
Confession time…I could of prevent the stink by setting something up for Ziggy

to go Potty in

In warmer months Ziggy has a litter box out in the barn/shop or he uses the great out door.
So he wimp when it comes to the cold months I brought in his litter box and put it in the basement.

My next project was to the final touches on

the tree. I like to get a better picture. I think I need to change the setting on my camera.
We got a Grand fir which we cut off our property.

I guess none of real grew up here and when it comes to present under the tree we all shake, smell and try to trick others on what they gave us.

So I got Bart Package wrapped up. As my boys get older there less things under the tree but each item cost more.

Well I did the usual around the place.

It will assist you in various ways, and you will bless the lives of many--now and in the years to come, as you put on paper some of your experiences and some of your musings." --President Gordon B.
