Tuff As Nail In The Morning and Easy as Pie In the Afternoon

Let me tell you this morning it was tuff as nails around here. But last night there was a major windstorm that came through like a slow fright train. It was all quite the site. Wind was making the tree like the all was doing the hoola hoops and branches of all size and shapes was being tossed about. Around six that evening the power kept flickering on and off and close to seven we lost power then about 12 hours late we had power.
What I heard some people wouldn’t have power until till about a week or so.
What I actual plan to do was remix the slip in my pour tank because it was starting to look like chocolate pudding. So I went over to Faith and Heinz to see if I could barrow a drill and they loan me one. Got the paint mixer (I also use it for mixing clay) on the drill and already to go and lost the power

Then this morning I tried to get back to normal life as it may be. Both Murphy and I have lived with out power before and I got things done but now I became spoiled and I felt complete lost.
So this morning I rebeat the clay and my recycled bucket of clay I add 3 quarts of water and mixed that up. When I took a read of the hydrometer it was so close of being prefect and I figure it was best to leave it alone and the slip in regular pour tank was thick as chocolate pudding so I beat it and add more water and had to do quite a bit of readings with the hydrometer in the main pour tank. Well I put the hydrometer in it case and laid it on the greenware table and few minutes I was putting it up and I heard lead weight rattling in the hydrometer case and I looked at it and my hydrometer was broken and it less then a month old. I wasn’t a happy camper at all.
Then I poured a 24 pieces of greenware and 20 came out. 2 didn’t drain right and 2 I miss cut. So I was pleased with today greenware pouring.

This afternoon Murphy and I went to town and I wanted to put 60 on the credit card and 100 in checking account but I did the opposite instead. Then we went over to Murphy Sister Faith because I want to make sure they got their drill back.
Her daughter and her children came over and later on her boy friend came over they lost power like everyone else and didn’t know when they were going to have it going again. So her mom had a generator that she was letting them use. She was washing out containers so she could haul water because they have a well and it takes electricity to run.
Faith Bing Cherry tree was ripe and her grandchildren picked all the lower ones and Murphy and I got a ladder and picked the upper ones and we got 2 gallons of them.
My sister in law also got a pie cherry tree that is coming on and told me to come over and get some. I’m going to try to get over during the week so I can get enough to make a cherry crisp.

When I got home I order some ceramic supplies from Big Ceramic Store I mainly bought stuff that is used during cast molds. But I did get 4 cleaning tools and 1 spooly for cleaning greenware

Picking Up From An Upset

I’m having some minor problems with anxiety today but before I get to that I been reinstating the software in my computer and I real like Micosoft word and I have an old version of it (2000) but it yet everything else got installed but not sure if word is in or not.

This morning I got a called from one of the ladies from the Boundary County Human Right task force and the owner of Tree R Us called them up and say Murphy been driving down there fence line and yelling racial slur at the Mexicans. I don’t think this is true completely because I knew once he yelled at the two bigot Mexicans “bigot” and they went a told people that Murphy said something basically like “He was going to get a big knife and cut up all Mexicans”. See I only give it a less then a one percent chance if Murphy is driving by and using racial slurs but driving by and making them uncomfortable I can more less see that. For all most 4 years the one Mexicans was calling my husband like “White boy, Nigger, Lazy White Boy, and also implying that he was gay” But nothing is done to them for using racial remarks to him and any other white person. Opinion time..What a double standard What is
good for the goose is also good for the gander. Plus the Mexican tractor driver isn’t the most honest person.

I been trying to figure what to invest next into my ceramic shop list A or list B. I just can’t afford to do both A and B.
Things on list A Legal or Accounting Binder, paper for printer that is I think is 91/2 by 13 inches, and a box of Cds. I did learn my lesson not to but everything in one basket and if your basket falls and all breaks you are starting over. But the only thing is that I wasn’t close to being half done. The boys and I need socks. Undies I do need there all becoming crotch less and there not bought that way, clip board and a food processorwhich will be use to mix my ceramic paints. Plus I just thought I also can use a new mouse pads
Then for list B Some more rubber bands and they are sold by the pounds and I have plenty of 3 and 5 inches, mold straps I order some while back and they got up and walked away but I did need some more and rubber stoppers to be put on the bottom of salt and pepper shaker and banks.

I moved and transplanted some of royal purple Iris 2 of them went into my hodgepodge flower bed and the other two went into my purple and yellow flowerbed.

Since I lost all of my personal documents and I had a list of performer who played on my world stage and I when my basket of eggs fell they all disappear in no were land. In my blog I never use anyone real name and some will have a name change because I don’t recall everyone stage name

One more thing I’m starting to wonder about my hours and job. My client Callie and I’m afraid she slipping back into her some habits. She likes to help everyone around her and nothing wrong with that. When some one get home care what basically goes on some social worker with fancy degree and with out lick of common sense comes out and the way the figure out the hours each person get could use some revamping over. But recently if someone calls she to the rescue and I become short on hours. It hasn’t happen yet but she once again letting people use her. If I don’t get my fifteen and three four hours in they’ll start cutting back. Opinion time…I feel if Callie didn’t help and stress over everyone life and then she wouldn’t need someone to come in. I feel she need someone come in one day a week and do well cleaning. I think she could use 8 to 12 hours would be the ideal hours for her.
I notice people who get money other then by having a job loose reality about work. If my hours are short so is my paycheck. Maybe people who get some type of public assistance and every time it rain maybe they should get thirty dollar taken a way from their next check. When my client runs about I can’t work and get my hours in and my check is for less

If It Wasn't For Errors I'd Never Make a BooBoo

Never put off what you can do today until tomorrow. Confession time...I did that and now I'm paying the time for it
The hard drive that was running my computer was erupted and when we want to change it we want to put in a new anti virus in it.
So in June our norton anti virus program was due up. So we want to go buy new software and get a new start.
We change hard drive, and now we have to reload all the software programs now. I put in foxfire for my browser and thats it for now.

I should put some of my things on Cd's. I never put any of my picture on a Cd and some of them I wanted to save and I did quite a bit of typing out a price list for my retail ceramic pieces and other things to get my business going and now all gone.
Before I start up again I'm buying 3 Cds, paper, and a legal size note book.

My Thrity-two Cent Worth

Online Dating

Mingle2 - Online Dating

I don’t know how far they go back in your blogg to give you a rating. But in my Opinion…sometime I didn’t think I deserve a G rating because of content But they just scan the words.

In school and I’m sure they still do it to write our book reports and which I couldn’t stand doing.
So not going to anything like they wanted for book report. I’m rate a few movies we have watch and give my short opinion about them

1. Lonesome Jim Slow but dialect was fairly good, charters didn’t have much change in emotions but this is part of the movie. So all in all I give it a C-.
2. Ghost Rider Plenty of movies in this theme and I thought I was going to easily predict the ending but it was not what I thought it was going to be. An excellent ending and general good timing so I’m giving this a A-
3. Maxed Out : Hard time, easy credit . I think anyone who is applying for a credit card should watch is movie to see what they are real getting them self in to.
Plus it gives you an ideal what the economy is in for those who get up and go to work. It makes the middle class and the lower in come act like the streets here in America is pave with gold.
This movie I give it an A-
4. Kundun Gives the human side of Dali Loma and interesting plot.
My only complaint is it was one sided to the theme when China Communism invaded Tabit but this movie was focus on the story of the Dali Loma.
He sure was spoiled and unruly brat but saw him on I think 60 minutes and now seem to be a man with a great humor.
I’ll give this movie a B.

No Captain, I Can't Rant and Rave Today

Murphy Nephew parked his pick up at our place so he and his wife Amy could go hunting for a place to live between Spokane and Courd’Alene.
So they loaded up there pick up and some how got hold of his mom Cattle trailer and put everything in it.
Till they find a place they going to park there pick up and trailer at our place until they know where they are going to live.
Anyhow Ziggy found a new place to sleep. They’re a mattress standing on edge and he can crawl up there and keep tabs on the doings of the place and cat nap every so often.

I add a new feature to my blogg is these odd little emotional people how I’m feeling. I figure they only can be used with your template. Plus there tons of emotions one may have. I’m going by this little web sit Punky mood but I don’t necessary agree that everything is emotion.
I decided to add a new coffee pal to my side bar. Go over and take a gander at A Place I Call Home this blog is written by small town rn.

I got my next week ceramic molds down what I want to cast Saturday. These molds actual look pretty clean if memory service me right I will only have to pour a thin layer of slip in three of them to clean them out and a good chance I’ll only have to do less.
I stayed fairly focus on the home today.
I tried to go for a walk and got down to all most the grayish bluish house down the first hill and one of the neighbor dog shadow and over grown friendly thing came running and his tail was a going and when he runs toward you he always barks and sit to be pet for few minutes and then he goes on his marry way.
But Daisy the dog is a coward and just ran home as fast as she could. When I got back home she was sitting on the front porch waiting.
Well my walk was cut short because I take a water pill for my high blood pressure and for some reason in mid morning it seem like I had to go pee every 5 minutes.
Eating sensible was a little more in control today.
Bart and I went to Sandpoint Idaho to get a few items down there.
My Anti Virus is about due so I got new one at Staples. Plus we went over to wal mart and I bought less then twenty dollars worth of few odds and ends.
A least Bart and I had a nice conversation.
He said there people at Clifty View Nursery gripe about the chemical they use on the trees and at the same time they smoking cigarettes both sure aren’t good for you.
I think people who gripe back other bad habits and forget to take a good look at there own real gets my goat

I Want To Do But This What Happened

I had plan for Sunday to do a fairy home show for Fairy Day and it just didn’t come about.
Saturday afternoon Murphy and I went over to his sister Faith place to visit. As we were there Murphy and Faith Nephew Sam his wife Amy and their child Ned showed up and we haven’t seen them for a year. They were living in St Louis Missouri and are moving here.
Marilynn got a transfer to the Liberty Lake Home depot.
So we actual didn’t get to bed to quite late Saturday. So Sunday we skipped going to the Gardenia Center in Sandpoint.

So Sunday Murphy, Faith, and I took a drive out toward Rock Creek and went down toward the river to pick a few large Puff Balls out in farmer field.
Well we had to jump a ditch full of silt water. Well Murphy made it both ways over. I just got one foot wet both ways and Faith didn’t fair as well on the way in she did about as well as I did but coming out she slip and fell in.
But all in all we got some nice giant puff balls

Saturday I did anther casting of the molds and after these set of mold were cast I put them up except for my grape cups and what I’m doing with them is taking off the handle and they should make excellent custard serving dishes.
I came to the conclusion that the ideal way of pouring greenware is 4 small ones and 10 of the normal size ones.
I got out my 4 smaller molds out which is 2 Christmas Ornament and the other two smaller ones is a whale and collection of perfume bottles.
When I saw the perfume bottle Honest time…I start to wonder how one goes about making perfume
Now I need to figure out what 9 molds of regular size I want to cast. I’m doing the grape cups again.

Well Boundary County Human Right Task Force called up Tree r us and talk to Mike about the racist issue that Edan was using.
The Human right task force want to come out and have a talk to them about human right and he refuse them which he has the right to do.
Mike doesn’t like any type of confutation so he refuses to deal with it.
But we was told that Idaho wasn’t a friendly labor state and I already new that.

Summer Breeze

This morning Daisy and I went for a walk down our road and enjoyed the summer breeze and enjoyed the sound of the wind turning the leaves of the tree into music. Confession time..When I was younger I didn’t like big gust of winds actual I thought it was pretty scary stuff
I took the camera with me and took 3 pictures as I walked down the Pleasant Valley Loop road heading toward the south.

As I was walking by a grassy field I notice a doe laying down in a farmers trail around the field and notice something laying in the grass so I looked a little more intense at the object and notice some big ears poking out of the grass and it suddenly put it head down and notice then it had some white spot on it and it was a fawn.
On my return trip the doe and her fawn was still there.

I clean off my Ostra Altar and start to do my Lithia Altar but there a few things I need to get before I finish it off.
I decided this altar is going to be real simple. I say it my alter and I have the right to worship who I do and as I please.

I did get a few things done around here and I’m slowly changing into my new routine but they are days that I don’t seem to be as strong as others.

Last night Murphy and I met with the Boundary County Human Right Task Force. To discuss with them about Murphy firing at Tree R Us you see the Mexican mostly Edan would make racial slurs daily to all the non Mexicans but we think Tony is the one who put Edan up to it but I have no way proving this.
And Mike the owner of Tree R Us just don’t know or didn’t want to deal with the issue of racism on his place. So when Murphy told him about being called racial slur he told him “just put up with it”
Well the Boundary County Human Right Task Force is going to make an appointment with Mike the owner of Tree R Us and talk to him.
Idaho isn’t a friend labor state it ok if you’re the employer basically you can fire someone with out just cause.
See what happen when a state is right to work click here and Click here Sure the Unions did get to big but now Idaho don’t protect there workers

Not lLiking This Part , But It May Even Be Nasty Ahead.

I don’t know if I dislike what I’m doing or will dislike what I have to do next. I’ve been doing retail pricing for my Easter pieces.
Which there is about 30 items to deal with Easter. I haven’t cast anything for years and trying to recall what they are all about.
And now you can pick up cute little Easter decorations for a lot cheaper then what I can buy them for.
Opinion time…My piece are higher price then most box store but I still don’t thinking I’m gouging anyone. It look like my Easter items will sell at this time about for $9.00 but one never know about the price of gas.
But after the Easter pieces I then start to price out my dish set and I give a discount for serving set of 6 or more. All my dishes have addition pieces to go with and I’m willing to let my patrons’ purchase the additional pieces at the discount price for which they bought there serving set for.
I’m trying to write out a so call rules on how I want they can purchase the extra pieces.
I just don’t want someone coming to me many years down the road and saying “ My Aunt so and so bought these dishes and she said she got these at 20% off and could you make me this and that for it”
I’m thinking of putting a 6-month limit on any additional request for serving pieces to go with the dishes if they can’t produce the letter of purchase when they pick up there dishes they pay full price.

It Been a Semi Ruff Ride Today

I recently trying to keep my self on schedule that I've sat up for my self.
This morning I was going to do some cleaning in our home this morning and this afternoon I was going to help my friend Alice set up her a etsy store.
But other things came up and she ask me if I could do it this coming Monday afternoon.

I now have the whole day to my self and plenty of things to be done around here and I feel so lost not knowing now where or what to start on. Yes I did few things like laundry, swept and mop the kitchen and dinning area, vacuumed the living room and hall area. And few other things

But today I’m wondering if I suffer from a form of Adult attention deficit disorder There is time I’d go from project, or object but there is time I’m fairly focus in on things.
Looking back in first grade Confession time…I remember standing by my desk lifting my dress up and have trouble staying on task.
But it seem like their lot of people on my mom side our all hyped up. My friends would ask if my mom was doing speed. I’d reply something like “hell no, she always hype up” but it seem to me that she got her project done.
Someone ask my cousin if his dad (Uncle Mike) if he was doing speed. Because he would work all day on the dry chain in the sawmill, walk home at a fast pace, come home and put in more time around the home.

I did fairly well today this morning I was only on the computer to see if anyone left any comment which takes less then 5 minutes.
I pretty well been staying off the computer in the morning until the afternoon. But I feel I could of done better with my time.

With in the Fad

As I once state in this Post. about putting my self on schedule.
I felt quite at easy on how things so far worked out.
I’m trying to stay off the computer in the morning so I can complete some goals. Confession time…I was on the computer less then 5 minutes checking comments on my blog. I guess I like attention.
Before I went to work I got yesterday dishes put away and did a rack full dishes, fold and put away some laundry, plus did a load of dark colors and hung them on clothes line to dry.
Confession time…I debated with my self about going back to curves or quitting because I wasn’t going
Well today my friend/client Callie and I went to curves and only made it once around.
But I have been walking.

The other night I had this strange dream and I’m clueless what it all means. So I guess later on I’ll look up the meaning at dream dictionary.
I was walking around town as I am right now today pointing at people buttons on there clothes saying “richman, pour man. begerman, thrift, doctor, lawyer, merchant chief, tinker, Taylor, cowboy, sailor.”
I haven’t done this since I was in grade school in the sixties

So at work today I was watching Bravo tv project runway and my dress isn’t out there making a fashion statement. Usual jeans and for top I’ll ware a blouse, t-shirt or sweatshirt.
As I was watching the model come down the runway with there newly design outfits and I was wonder whom actual were those clothing. I’d guess it was more of fashion for formal gowns and next was to design a cocktail outfit.
I don’t go and place like that to wear anything of that nature and there nothing in Bonners Ferry area that one was to dress in such fashion but it surely wouldn’t hurt me to go throw my closet and heavy ho some of my duds

Free association is described as a "psychoanalytic procedure in which a person is encouraged to give free rein to his or her thoughts and feelings, verbalizing whatever comes into the mind without monitoring its content." Over time, this technique is supposed to help bring forth repressed thoughts and feelings that the person can then work through to gain a better sense of self.

That's an admirable goal, but for the purposes of this exercise, we're just hoping to have a little fun with the technique. Each week I'll post ten words to which you can respond to with the first thing that comes to mind.

"Rules are, there are no rules." There are no right or wrong answers. Don't limit yourself to one word responses; just say everything that pops into your head. AND you don't have to have your words up on Sunday. Take all week if you want!

Casting of Ceramic Molds

Yesterday I did my first casting of ceramic molds.
I haven’t cast ceramic molds for ages. I ended up pouring the molds by hand the motor to my pump is to small to pump the slip up though the hose and into the nozzle. So I pour by hand and I’m limited to the things I can pour and the production time is lot slower when pouring by hand.
Opinion time…the hardest thing for me is choosing which mold to cast. But all in all everything went quite well and few minor things I need to get or do that would make casting greenware a lot easier.
I need to bring out a cottage cheese container with water and soft bristle brush to cover and fix the multi of sins.
But also I need to purchase a fettling knife a butter knife does ok but it just don’t do as well as a fettling knife. But I actual could use a big electrical motor to pump my slip with

I have to say I had about a 50% rate in getting out the greenware from the mold success. But considering I haven’t cast any slip for years and I use to get better then 95% rate of marketable pieces of greenware to sell.
But I’m not complaining I know we’ll get up to that rating soon once again.
My goal is to have enough finish piece done that I can do our local cow creek craft show in October. Once I have two hundred dollar worth of finish inventory I’ll sent in my application.

HAIR

I decided to put this up Friday evening because I wanted to get things done tomorrow (Saturday)
I honesty didn’t know what to put for “hair” I thought of taking a self-portrait of the back of my own head. Which I do have plenty of hair.
But Friday evening Ziggy came and sat on the porch and seen fur and fur is type of hair.

Haven't total Messed It Up

Last night I went to our local chapter of the democrat party. You see they say here voting is low in America and people aren’t involved.
They talk about different fundraiser one will be on the 23rd of June in Post Fall Idaho. I’m thinking of talking to Murphy and going down there.
Just for the social part of it. I’d like to be less of a wall flower and possible meet people more like minded, not saying I agree 100% with the democrat party but my line of thinking sure isn’t with Dubya.
Five buck for barbeque isn’t bad.
But some of the other fundraiser and what they bring we just can’t afford and I’m not willing to give up our money that freely.
Idaho democrat party is selling these t-shirt for $30.00 and my top dollar would have been $12.00.
I guess they had a pie auction somewhere in Idaho and the pie went for about $175 dollars. “To rich for my blood”

I’m trying to put my self on this schedule.
On Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. In the morning “Stay off the computer” and do chores around the place.
Go to my client. I was going to do curves about 30 minute before work but now my client wants me to go to curves. Personal that’s great ideal maybe we can inspire each other.
Then in the afternoon come and do the computer because it’s hot outside and the computer is in the basement.
Evening do a quick go though the place.
Tuesday and Thursday is usual two days I have off. On Tuesday go though the house and do a good solid cleaning.
Thursday prep and get things more ready for the ceramic business. I did clean out some molds to pour for this Saturday.
Then basically the weekends will be to do “what ever”

In general for the last two days. I’ve been doing ok but no A+ stuff. The last week and half I’ve been taking walks and increasing the distant but not the rate I go out.
Why is it so hard to change one habits

A New and Improve Middle Class

Over at Post your red hot issue with blogher
I can think of many issues that need to be addressed. But I’d like to think of a strong middle class in America

when I was growing up I knew we weren’t rich people but I knew we weren’t poor people either.
My mother grew up as dust bowl child during the great depression and my father had to head back to his parents home and work the farm for his room and board. (My parents were about 20 years apart)
So as for fast history lesson after the depression and then came World War II and my dad then got rehire on railroad and join the teamster union for the railroad.
Which made sure he had certain rights and protection. Paid a livable wage that bought clothes, had a nice home to live in although no mansion, and did everything the neighbor hood children did at that era.
Both my parents never even finished high school. My father went a little longer then my mom did about one semester of high school and dropped out and went to work on the railroad and put in 50 years for them.
As I was told the year I was born he was making about five dollars and hour, I was born in 1960.
Not saying I total want to go back and live life as a baby boomers.

In my honest opinion…I feel we as American have certain social right and obligation to our middle class
When a person finish high school and gets up and puts in 40 hour work week he or she should be able to furnish their family a home to live in, food on the table and don’t have to use food stamps, clothes on the back, an transportation so they can get back and forth to work.
I believe one person should be able to support a family of 4 on one income.
If he or she wants to get extra slice of the American dream I have no quorums about it by either by education or working overtime

But I don’t want us to go back and be over consuming nation, we also grew up with the Vietnam war, women had no choice of career and had to depend on man mostly to make the living unless your were a nurse or teacher, drunk driving was pretty well acceptable and alcohol wasn’t consider a drug. Food banks or pawn shops weren’t heard of or lease I didn’t hear of them

But we as people in America needs to reestablish a new and better middle class. The 3 steps we can do is.
1) Pay a livable wage for working people. Our C.E.O who runs our companies makes such a wage difference then the people who works for him or her.
There should be a cap on C.E.O salaries including there benefits. Opinion time...No C.E.O should make 20 times then his bottom paid employees
2) Learn not to consume as much as we do.
3) A better tax system or I should say a simpler or more fairer one

If we put back a middle class in America we would take care of lot of burning issue in America.
The America people aren’t lazy and has a lot of get up and take the bull by it horn

It All Came Out Good In the Wash

Just the other day I chosen to pull out some molds and clean them up to get ready to cast.
Some just need a good blown out with the pressure hose but when I hauled it outside and was ready to blow out the molds. I notice it had the wrong chuck on it.
But to my surprising it worked well.
There was one mold that pretty guckie and full of crap. So this mold I’ll have to do thin casting to clean it out.
Honest time…I had a hard time figuring out what molds to cast I want something easy to cast considering I haven’t poured any ceramics for years, not to heavy of mold simple because I let my self get out of shape, no multi part molds or casting that I had to attach together, no things with lids unless they were found and I don’t have everything organized in mold shelves as they need to be. Something that is marketable for the fall and winter craft shows and a good variety of pieces.

BlogHers Act

Introducing a new BlogHer Community Initiative: BlogHers Act
By Elisa Camahort, 4:10 pm, Tue 5 Jun 2007
Have you ever imagined the impact if every member of BlogHer – more than 11,000 bloggers strong and growing every day -- focused our considerable brainpower, ingenuity and influence on one red-hot issue? How about if that one red-hot issue was the focus of an organized, year-long campaign to make a measurable difference that this community cares about?
Yes, some of you have. And you've emailed all three of us (sometimes more than once!) to ask BlogHer to take a leadership position in bringing the BlogHer community of powerful women together to create real change
Today, Lisa, Jory and I are very proud to say "yes." We're introducing BlogHers Act. And just like the BlogHer Conference is the conference the community built, we want BlogHers Act to take on a cause the community develops.
So today the work begins: It's up to all of us to determine, between now and the conference, what project we'll unveil and kick-off an action plan for at BlogHer '07 this July in Chicago.
BlogHers Act is an opportunity for the BlogHer community to have a collective impact on a global scale. We're going to pick a single issue, organize a year-long campaign, and blog the heck out of it.
We're starting today: We have asked the incredible duo of Cooper Munroe and Emily McKhann, from the Been There Hurricane Clearinghouse Blog, to lead this effort for us, by helping us work together to identify both:
1. The global issue that the BlogHer community wants to support
2. A voter manifesto identifying the top issues that the community wants addressed during the American presidential election in 2008
Here's how to get involved: Cooper and Emily are taking suggestions for a BlogHer-wide survey of all members, who will vote and pick our red-hot issue. You can suggest anything -- are you already blogging about an issue you want BlogHers to get behind? Great! Suggest it.
You have until June 15 to suggest your burning issues. Then we'll launch a BlogHer-wide survey to vote on which of those issues will be the focus of the first BlogHers Act initiative.
We'll introduce the first BlogHers Act initiative at BlogHer '07 and start work immediately, right there at the conference.
Please help us make the most of this opportunity for a huge exercise in do-ocracy. We women certainly don't all think or vote alike, but we are the majority of voters and the majority of bloggers – and there are certain issues many of us care about, regardless of our ideological stripe.
Working together, we can make a world of difference.
Ready to hear more? Take it away Cooper and Emily…

Someday I'll

Sunday my friend and I went to the Gardenia Center for there Sunday services.
I volunteer to be a greeter and I actual enjoyed it. I thought it was about due time that I took a step and do something instead of sitting in background as a wall flower.
My friend Quenelle was my partner in greeting.
My friend Quenelle did inspirational and she present her self fairly well and got her point over. Honest time…I don’t agree with 100% of what she said
But at the gardenia center it ok to have different spiritual paths
Inspirational are only to be 5 minutes in time and she actual went somewhere between 10 and 15.
Confession time…Lot of time I get more out of the 5 minute inspirational then the speaker going on and on
There a few topics I would like to speak upon that interested me.
1. The Free Spirit
2. Spiritual fellowship.
3. It Ok to believe as one does even if it not in a religious book such as the bible.
4. Some things on earth spirituality (paganism)

It one of those days I just doesn’t want to go to my job today. Confession time…I real have no desire to get involved with the medical field and being a nurse is one of the last thing I would want to do. Being around sick people isn’t my cup a tea
Murphy suggested that I find anther line of work. I’ve done food service bull shit and between doing the food service bull shit I would rather do home care.
Least my client Callie is in good humor 98% of the time

I got molds line up to pour this coming Thursday. It will be small pour I haven’t cast any ceramics for years.
I had hard time figuring out what I want to cast and finding the right molds. I kept running into spring and summer season items.
I need fall and winter items simple because time I have everything done up. I’ll be doing a few fall shows in my area

I almost forgot for special music they had a base harp player she played some Irish tunes and one Spanish tune all very lovely and peaceful to meditate to

It's Coming About

Murphy and I went to Sandpoint to get a few items and like a new vacuum cleaner and a new drain for our shower.
Never even hit wal mart.

We weren’t even sure what we wanted for a vacuum cleaner. Murphy doesn’t like the bagless vacuum cleaner and for some reason I think that the vacuum cleaner with bags has it out for me.
I’m lucky even to get a whole room done with out a bag blowing its top.
So we stop and looked at numbered of vacuum cleaner and my Aunt Eve has a riccar it something she uses for quick going over her home and when she does her heavier cleaning she uses her rainbow but at this time it out of our pocketbook.
We bought a progressive vacuum from sears it has a bag and so far so good.

There been times I wish we rented mostly when something needs to be repaired. To me it seem simple enough to call the landlord and say “fix it”
Our shower drain been leaking in to our basement and we decided it was due time to replace it.
Considering it been in there for around 25 years.
It went fairly quickly considering we real don’t have all the right tools

Just the other day my clay hydrometer came and now I’m basically ready to start to cast ceramic molds.
Although the motor on my pump isn’t large enough but I have had to in the past to cast by hand.
I started to pull out a few molds to clean out so I can get ready to pour this Thursday.

Tomorrow I’ll be drawing partners for the scavenger hunt. If your already involved could you please e mail me your physical address and any one who wants to join in still Click here

Golly Giddish Stop In For Mug Of Coffee

When a first time visitor comes to my blog I get all giddish and the other day I have three new people who stop in and left a comment.
Lake wood shmuck and Sioux and she is offering a drawing for a gardening book.
I had just a short time ago add Lisa Ocean dreamer

I haven’t looked recently at my 101 things and I thought it was due time to check in and plus I add it right below my side bar right below my coffee pals.

Not much action in my flowerbeds around here. But the only flowerbed showing any color is my hodgepodge bed.
I sometime have trouble tells what types of flowers they all area but some seems easier to remember then others.
In hp a, that’s a general shot of the flowerbed looking south, in hp b not sure what the spiny purple flower is, in hp c I know that’s a white petunia, I positively know the flower in hp d is lupine, in hp e I’m not sure what that little fuchsia color flower is but I like the color, in hp f I forgot what these yellow flowers are but I dug them up at the Bonners Ferry Apt, and the last slide hp g is a picture looking north I had to set on our front steps and twist a little so I could get a picture.

As I was reading my coffee pals blog and over at Thordore she has a link to a writing contest on smell. Here the thing, I haven’t yet figure exactly where I need to go for this contest.

Do Today what you can do tomorrow! Well that about the truth I kept meaning to get back in a healthier routine but everyday I kept making excuses like I’ll start tomorrow well tomorrow I kept moving up a day by day.
Yesterday I start to walk again not far and also did a walk this morning and add a little more distant

Number Seven Going Down the Track

On the summer or Litha Scavenger hunt I decided to do a minor change on # 7 it now reads “A frame picture taken from you’re home areas looking toward the south.” But it I’m changing it to “ A frame picture taken close from your home area looking toward the south” so nice picture of southerly direction from your area.
There is still 4 days left to sign up for the Scavenger hunt and if your interested Click here and leave a comment.

I’m sorry I haven’t announced who won the sleeping gnome Well Patti of 2nd grade teacher won the drawing and gnome will be retiring his days in Oswego, New York

I’ve been for my waiting for my hydrometer and which I order two weeks ago from Archie Bray Foundation and I call them up and wondering what happen to my hydrometer and it arrived in Helena Montana and wondered if I want come and picked it up or I still want it.
So I told them to ship it to me and hopeful it will arrive soon

Our Vacuum Cleaner gave up the ghost and now I’m looking for a different Vacuum cleaner.
Our last one was a hoover and there was some pro and cons on it that both Murphy and I had.
If money was no obligation I’d get my self a Rainbow Vacuum Cleaner So what would you get for a vacuum cleaner?

Here is a picture I took of our drive the other day one is of what they call Clifty Mountain which I like dip like shape on side of mountain by the top.

Obey Thy Husband Even If He Is Wrong

as one of my coffee pals I read Is American Burning and the last few post got me thinking on equal partnership with ones mate.
Mostly with this post

I have never understood why one person in relationship needs to be total in control over anther person.
Murphy and I had our words to right down nasty fights and both have admitted to being wrong in our relationship mainly because we should of listen to each other.
Murphy will ask my opinion on different things and he says he hasn’t always liked what I had to say.
“If you can’t stand the truth don’t ask” .
I don’t mean to sound narrow minded but I seen some of these marriage that is based from the old testaments. Which Thankful isn’t that many because opinion time…I only seen one extreme crazy nut

I knew a guy who control everything in family and because the biblical told him that the man is the head of the household and good christen family the wife obeys there husbands.
But he surely didn’t work the sweet of his brow.
Actual she walked off the mountain at times and went to work. Handed him the money and never but his family first anyhow his pot came first.
Sex to him wasn’t for pleasure but for breeding reasons.
He tried to make her read a book on line of “Wife submit to your husbands”
I ask him if a husband wants his wife to jump off a bridge do you think she should jump off a bridge and he said “no” but with not one in control there is to much chaos in family.
Common sense tells me going against someone who you know are making a right decision is total counter productive but when someone is plain wrong why go long with them.

There this guy who we all called Moses and I don’t recall her name. But he claim god told him to move to the area of Bonners Ferry.
Well we were at some other people home and they showed up. One of the first thing he compare our little town to Sodom and Gomorrah. And he felt here was major vial over the area.
So with my behavior and I don’t recall exactly I said or did because I spoke against Murphy and he told me only harlot women spoke against their husbands. Then we got out of there as fast as we could and I actual walk before my husband down the stairs and so called Moses made anther statement at me and could maintain my self any longer and I double over laughing.
Murphy though he was some kind of kook also and she thought her husband was some type of messenger from the almighty.
Some other time I’ll tell you more about our local Moses

Please Help, He Loves His Boys

By KATHY NUSSBERGER
Managing Editor
Nearly three years ago in the summer of 2004, a local father was stranded 20 miles from town when his then wife, became angry and abandoned him in a mountainous area.

Although most people would find it difficult to deal with this type of situation, Morgan Clark, 26, who is legally blind, was suddenly faced with not only the fact of being stranded in the mountains surrounding Boundary County, but also the realization that his wife Elishia Rowden-Clark, and two sons, Richard, three at the time, and Jacob, one, were not coming back.

"We had just gone on a huckleberry picking trip," Morgan said. "I had no idea that my wife was planning to abandon me in the wilderness and run off with the children."

With the help of a private investigator, Phil Thompson of Confidential Investigations in Hayden, Morgan finally has a clue to the whereabouts of his children.

"After his wife and children disappeared, Morgan filed for divorce and won full custody of the kids on May 11, 2005," Phil said. "However, due to the fact that Elishia could not be physically served the notice, the court awarded custody is not automatically recognized in other states."

The first place Phil tracked Elishia was to Eureka, Mont., where she now had another child with the man she had been living with since leaving Idaho.

Now with Morgan's two sons and a new baby in tow, she once again disappeared, thus leaving another father, Dale Miller, to wonder if he would ever see his child again.

Unfortunately, due to the time delays with the Montana courts recognizing his custody, Morgan was about three months too late in that last attempt to recover his children.

Due to the fact that Elishia was not physically served with the court papers regarding the divorce from Morgan and custody of the children, local prosecutors cannot file criminal charges against her for kidnapping.

Now, nearly three years after last seeing his children, Morgan, with the help of Confidential Investigations, finally has another lead to the possible location of where Elishia and the children now live.

"Morgan tried on his own for two years to find her, he even hired a local part time investigator, but after expending a lot of money with no results, he had no option but to stop the process," Phil said. "When Morgan came to me a few months ago, he was very honest about his lack of money, and although we couldn't work solely on his case, we have tried to help him as much as possible without a lot of charges. Morgan does a lot of the leg work himself including taking care of the legal aspects of getting his custody recognized in Vermont where his children now live. Elishia is someone who takes advantage of the system. She does not make decisions based on the best interest of her children, she makes decisions based on her interests, which are very self-serving."

However, despite knowing where his children are living, Morgan still cannot move forward until he the Vermont court recognizes the validity of his Idaho court awarded child custody.

But, even if the court recognizes his Idaho custody, Morgan has to overcome another obstacle, the money required to make the trip.

Since he is legally blind, he cannot make the trip alone. Therefore with the airfare costing about $783 per adult roundtrip, plus the one way tickets for the children to come home at approximately $483 each, the total cost of the airline tickets including the taxes and fees will come to $2,532. Then Morgan has the added expense of hotels, transportation and food while in Vermont, so it is going to be a fairly expensive trip.

"I am determined to do this, I want my children home, I have already lost way too much time with them and because of that, they are going to have to get to know me again," he said. "They were very young when she took them, and although I know they will remember me at least a little, it is still going to be difficult for them."

Anyone who wants to help Morgan bring his children home may do so by making a donation to the "Morgan Clark Travel Fund" at any branch of Wells Fargo Bank, account # 8122022406.

If there is not a Wells Fargo bank in your area here is the address to the one in Bonners Ferry.

Prize Are and Swap to Come

Last night and for many years our local high school here puts on quite the party for the graduating seniors.
It set up with different games to play such as a casino, limbo, and lot of fun actives. Plus everyone wins a few prizes mainly what one may give as bridle shower, home warming gift or a wedding present.
At first Sawyer attitude was it going to be lame but after he went he did have fun. Anyhow I though he got a few nice things to start out with.

Last spring I hosted an Ostara scavenger hunt and now I’m doing a Lithus/summer solstice scavenger hunt.
Sigh up date is before June 11, 2007.
What is a scavenger hunt there is 7 items you’ll need to find for your swap partner and I’ll let you know shortly after the 11th, which he or she is.
The seven items you need to find for Lithus is:
1. Wind movement item
2. Something blue or blue in it
3. Your local sale add paper
4. Some triangle shape or 3 sided
5. Flower stickers
6. A rock (please consider the weight because this shipping cost)
7. A frame picture taken from you’re home areas looking toward the south.
Please pass the word about the summer time scavenger hunt.

Today Murphy and I decided we want to go somewhere a little different then our drives we usual take in the mountains.
So today we headed up Katka towards boulder creek but we stop at Caboose Creek and went rock hounding.
We found a few interesting ones. But only could haul out few of them.
But there is a few more I like to get and haul out of Caboose Creek.

We found this flat rock that looks like a skull head and a reddish rock with a white strip anyhow when I took a picture of it I took the wrong side.

On the way down we stopped at Katka look over and got a picture of the Kootenai Valley which your looking between two mountain ranges I was on lower part of the parcels and to west of that is the Selkirk mountains which is when I step out of my front door I see them.
The river who are mainly looking at is the Kootenai river which starts in British Columbia goes into Montana and swings west into Idaho slowly turning back North heading back in to British Columbia and dumping into the Kootenay (spelling different) lake in Canada and what they call the west arm of the kootenay dumps in the Columbia River which goes out to the Pacific Ocean.

So on the way down we stop in at out friend Earl and Quenella for a short visit. You see she has spirits in constant communication with her and she told me that spirits told her that she see 3 strong female spirit around me and they are giving me daylily.
I don’t ha ha it at all.
I’m not in tune as well as she is but I do see spirit forms.
confession time…Now I wonder what does the daylily means
I had a glass of there home brew beer although much better but not enough fizz to flat but much improvement in taste.

One Down and One To Go.

One down and one to go.
Sawyer made though high school and now it off to face the every day grind of the world.
It was hot in the football field.
This time I listen more intensively to the speaker and least they didn’t mumble on and never got their point a crossed.
In a survey of this class they were ask what they thought the number one problem in the coming years and they thought “global warming”
They wonder in years to come what this generation will work toward to be remembered as.
I’m from the baby boomers and my mom was from the greatest generation lived though the great depression and world war II. Then we have the dot com and generation X

Sawyer seem to have grown. The other day not long ago he thanked us for making us do chores. “I real hated you for making us do chores around the place” and he told me that some of his class mates are real helpless because someone always there to help them out.
One thing that when Sawyer was in kindergarten it was very important to get your name on Mr. Tooth which was large picture of a tooth. The way one got their name on Mr. Tooth was to loose a tooth and every morning the teacher would ask who lost a tooth and if you loose a tooth you got your name up and they counted how many tooth were lost.
Well Sawyer never got his name up there and last day he went over to a friend and his tooth lost his tooth but he sure wasn’t happy to get his name on Mr. Tooth.

I find out scholarship is funny thing but yet or I haven’t figure them out. Sawyer almost receive $1400.00 for college and he planning to go to North Idaho College.
the thing I don’t get is how they decided who get what. I know there ones who graduating with my son who had a better g.p.a and I know darn well there parents aren’t wealthy either.
