I just finished Garden Witchery by Ellen Dugan. This book is written very simple and easy to understand for the most part. The place where I got lost is about the fairies. Who is who among the fairies. Ms Dugan gave a lot of great or special ideals for a garden. Now I’m planning to hang red geranium out my front door which is a symbol for a good witch.
In all I’d give this book a C. I wouldn’t go out and buy it but if you can barrow from someone that I would be great. Their a ideal that you can use in your own garden.

I’m now reading. SuperFoods Health Style by Steven G Pratt, M.D., and Kathy Matthews. I’ll be doing a blogg on this book over at I've Lost My Mind, Now I'm Trying To Loose My Fat . But I need to get some other stuff done so catch you later.

Alice Will Be Going For Round Two

Almost a month ago I blogged about my friend Alice that she applied for a habitat house Well she made threw round one.

There was 11 application in boundary county trying for the next habitat house. Out of that 11 they picked 4 and she was 1 of them. And she didn't thinking she had a chance out of the 11, I guess she was wrong

Now she will be interviewed 2 more times by two different people. As I understand they’ll be making their choice who will receive the next habitat home in August sometime.

Honest time...My friend Alice is a hard worker and she don’t live in squalor. I know Alice well enough that the place will be taken care of.

I’ve been having trouble with my anti virus program so I went to Sandpoint to Staples and bought a Norton Anti Virus and firewall for our computer. I just didn’t want take any chances with it. But now I feel safe or little safer being on the computer

Bridle Shower

This after noon I went to my friend Alice daughter Nicole bridal shower. Well they played two games one was do a toilet paper bride in 3 minutes make a wedding dress for the bride. The other game we played was clothes pin game. Everyone got a clothes pin and if you said the word “wedding” the person who caught you got your clothes pin and who had the most clothes pin won a prize.

As for gifts Nicole got a lot of nice things. Her mom won a quilt that’s a hunting theme. I got her 25 pcs kitchen tools . Let see what else did she get. Dish towels, dish clothes, 2 extra big bath towels, set of silverware, clothes hangers and I can’t recall everything she got.

Of arouse they had goodies. Baby carrots, peanuts, lemon aid, which was fantastic, mints and a chocolate cake with this yellow icing which was great and vanilla ice cream.

Jodi open her mouth and said that her dad wasn’t coming to wedding. Alice gave her daughter Jodi a stern dirty look. Well then Jodi said he doesn’t like the son of bitch.
I guess what matter if Nicole and Henry makes each other happy that what count. Personal I don’t know him all that well. Alice things he drinks a little to much. But she doesn’t set around and bad mouth him.
I know Mirim isn’t giving the bride away simple reason I think there is a lot of bitter feeling toward her dad. Let just say it this way Mirim didn’t treat his family right. I wouldn’t put up with the shit my friend Alice did with her husband Mirim.
But here the thing he is a real personable and witty person.

I’ve been told that we all take some baggage into our marriage. Yea sometime I act like my mother and some time I act like my father.

A funny thing I notice about the bloggs I read 7 of them our east of the Mississippi and 7 of them is West of the Mississippi. Now that looks like 50-50 in my book. But their 3 I’m not sure where their at and sometime I don’t know where I’m at either.

Pentacle Neckless

I live in very conservative area and I was in the dollar store purchasing 2 toilet brushes. The lady who checked me out had a pentacle neckless on. I made the comment to her “ I like your charm neckless” Confession time...At that time I couldn’t think of the word pentacles and she said the little charm was a symbol of some goddess and I don’t recall what she said.

I don’t know many people who are into the Earth base religions. My friend Quenelle is closes one I have. People at the gardenia center are open to any person spiritual journey. One of the service I was introduce to a pagan. I haven’t seen her at any more of the service. I think once summer is calm down I’m hoping she will return.

Now back to the lady in the dollar store. I actual like to know her better and I’m not sure what to say simple because I’m not sure where I am with earth base spirituality. Any suggestion on how I should approach this lady

I live With Out being Hooked Up To The Power Company

A short time ago Nio did a blogg about a man who lived off the grid

The first 17 years of Murphy and my life we lived with out being hooked up to electrical company or a water company. We had a solar panel which was wired in to a 12 volt battery and in the summer months we ran our solar panel directly into our 12 volt lights.
At one time we had a hand water pump to pump our water in to a storage barrel and later on we bought a diesel generator. And wired it in to the well and rest of the house. ( We then lived in a mobile home)
Caught rain water in barrel for garden well for almost everything except drinking. During the winter months we melt ice and snow on the wood stove

I try to look at life as an adventure with a lot of opportunity. To me living off the grid in some way their a sense of freedom.
You’ll mange your life a lot different when off or on the grid. Example... Some one needs to watch the battery that being charge to solar panel to make sure the battery doesn’t boil over

I learn if their every economical clasp I could survive.
These are some of the reaction people have to you when you live off the grid...What the hell wrong with you not being hooked up don’t you know this 1900's . Boy it most be nice not to have a power bill. (Well we had to buy kerosene for our oil lamps) “No Free Lunch in life”. Your standing up to the establishment.

The reason we left the living off the grid is because my mom died and I’m an only child and inherited her estate which includes a house. Anyhow our mobile home floor was giving in.
Honest time...I would like to do this home to be more energy effecaint( I know it not spelled right) I try not be a big consumer and I guess that one thing I try not to do is waste Waste not want not .

Before I close, were I live now I would put up a small personal wind mill and generate power that way. Sometime sitting up living off the grid is cheap either

farm dreaming

I had a dream that I lived on a full fledge farm. The dream goes as follow:

I’m out feeding our Cattle and horse. Most of these animals are brown and to the left of me Is a black sleeping bull.

The animals are being feed hay Just a short distance from the wire gate. Beyond that their green grass field

The fence in my dream is in good shape. I’m happy on the farm

Keeping the Minium Wage the Same

Yesterday on N.P.R they was talk once again raising minium wage up. honest time...I didn’t catch the whole thing because I was getting ready for work

My friend Quenelle listen to N.P.R also. So I ask her what she heard about rising the minium wage up. As she understood it The republican want to some bill and the democrats want to tack on raising the minium wage up and it was vote down in committee.
Opinion time...My friend Quenelle thinks that the democrats ot to tack this on every bill that the republican introduce, well I wouldn’t go that far but I say over 98% bill they introduce the democrats ought tack on raise the minium wage

The minium wage hasn’t been increase since 1997. Dubya wasn’t in office then. opinion time...See how much he cares for people I was looking at some info on Consumer price index and you can see by this graph every things going up, $50 billion in tax cuts for people who make over a million dollars a year, raising the minimum wage for people who haven't seen a wage increase since 1997. and dubya wants to make his tax cut permeant.

I’ve always wonder about Dubya and his cronies. He talks about moral issues and family values statement time...What a bunch of Bullshit If they care about other then their self they would pass legislation to help people not to hinder them. I could listed more what would be benefit to all people other then raising minimum wage. I guess they want haves and haves not

Well some of our elective officials are trying to do something about raising the wages up

When we all go and purchase anything we can see major increase. Hubby and I make over minium wage but we sure aren’t rolling in the dough. Gas here is $2.99 the last time I went to town and minium wage is still at $5.15 an hour.

I just found this site called cost of living What cost you $20 in May of 1997 today it would cost you.$31.62. I put in my hourly wage of $7.90 I should be making $10.12.

Kootani River Still May Flood

I’m trying to add anther blogg with this one and some how I can’t figure it out this time. I’m tired from work. It will be about my journey on loosing some weight and becoming more healthy

This is where Deep Creek runs into the Kootani river. About 5 miles from Bonners Ferry

Well our little town of Bonners Ferry people been talking how high the water, run off of Mountain and all the rain. Their two article in our local paper. Click here and Click here . One of the dicks among the river started to give way. Their worried that Kootenai river will flood out the Kootenai inn our local Indian casino. If that happen it will go down thru the tunnel into down town Bonners Ferry. The river has succeeded but still high More rain to come this week

The dock way out middle of the river. Even if the river don't complete cress. Their already quite a bit of damage. The dikes hasn't been maintain for years. I'm thinking 50 year or more

The river is back flowing up deep creek. The lake Koocanusa which is behind Libby Dam so the lake can't hold any more water so their send it down the river and the river is filling up

Happiness is a State of Mind

We knew we had to change the end of the hodge podge flower bed. About two weeks ago we all put up a short rain gutter and it didn’t quite worked as we planned. Anyhow that Sawyer screwing in the rain gutter.
I wanted some rocks or rain dance stone so when the rain hit it would splatter and look like the rain is waltzing across the rocks.
I still thinking it needs a frog of some sort sitting on the rocks. Murphy said we should mix a batch of clay and start pouring ceramics.

On my yellow and purple flower bed Murphy and I took out that end and used the rocks in the hodge podge flower bed. I called when rain is splattering it really dancing.
So now I got 3 fossils, 1 slate rock, 2 round white rocks, and 2 glass electrical insulators. I didn’t think my 2 dahlia was every going to come up. I notice one of them showing threw.

Today Murphy and I went to the Gardenia center The month of June is on happiness. On front of their flyer “ a good word for it as any” Let us celebrate the fact we can make choose happiness or we can choose unhappiness. Happiness is a state of mind and can therefore be changed. Celebrate this!
During coffee hour I asked if they celebrate thesummer solstice Well they don’t. But this group seem pretty open and receptive on other people spiritual journey. They offer John of God spiritual service, I think every full moon they have some kind of service to with Buddha (called festival of Wesak.
They have a Breakfast reading club and at this time their reading “Doors to Peace” by Steven Schwartz. But I can’t find any thing about this book.
I didn’t know if Murphy liked going and during the coffee social thing. Someone asked if he was going to return and he said yes. I think he likes the social thing afterwards. Murphy was raised Catholic and he now has nothing to do with it. He couldn’t figure out if you miss mass your heading to hell.

Just Mumbling on Good Things

These are my friend Quenelle kittys. Not sure how many cat she has but I know they got two dogs Brittney and Ginger.

Last Thursday Qunelle and I went to Jill Cafe in Bonners Ferry and had some goodies. She had huckelberry crumb pie and I had apple carmanal cheesecake. So I took couple of picture of her rock flower garden,
At the end of our yard going into the gully between my cousin/neighbor their some beautiful large royal purple iris. I have no ideal how they got there. Well I'm going to dig up and put them in my flower bed and give some to my friend Quenelle.

The violets are doing fine. Nothing else is in bloom now.

Their a little red flower blooming in my hodge podge bed and just can’t recall what it is.

It seem like I’m always battle the dreaded weeds and lot of growth but nothing blooming at this time.

My Friend Alice Might be Getting a House From Habitat

I’m thrilled that habitat for humanity is considering my friend Alice for a habitat house. She deserves one.
Every since I knew her she worked super hard and put up with her worthless hubby Mariam. He hardly worked and the little he did work he mainly spent it on pot. She finley got smart and threw his ass out. Well I don’t like bad mouthing people actual. As a person Mariam is quite witty and personable. In my opinion...Mariam didn’t treat his family right
When I first lived meet Alice and Mariam they lived up on Camp Nine in a falling down cabin, no glass in the window, a propane cook stove and a wood stove. No running water or drains out of the house had to let the gray water drain in a bucket and take it out by hand. For what she had she kept the place nice.
Then she and her hubby moved to town to rectangle home and rented and I don’t know why they had to move out of that. Alice always had pride her personal environment and pays her bills.
Well rental are super hard to find in the Bonners Ferry area. So right now she living in a small two bed room trailer. Her and daughter Denille who is going into 8th grade They share a bedroom. Plus she has a mentally handicap son Kyle who legal age is 17 and mental he is 10 to 12 year old. This house is inadequate also.

I’ve lived pretty ruff and know what it like to live with out running water or electricity. I never lived like my friend Alice

So this Tuesday some people from Habitat is going to see if her home is inadequate. Her home got some structure problems. So their a change that her two kids will come over Tuesday and stay here as habitat is to see her housing situation.
Her two youngest kids can be a handful they seem to like to butt into conversation. And every so often Kyle will have some colorful/rude remark.

Confession time...The only reason I got a home is because I inherited it I don’t see how we could afford a home on our wages. I took 5 homes in our local paper at random the average price is $216,857 here. Their a basically a bare 5 acres of land out in the Pleasant Valley which I live in and it for sale at $115,000. Listed with shelman realty

I don’t know how many homeless or people lives inadequate housing. But not all these people are lazy. My friend Alice is far from that.
To me it seem like their building new big houses. All what’s going up is well over 2,000 square feet and big price tag.

I kinda of know what is Grimorires and I under their serval of them. I’d say the most famous is Keys of Solomon.

I just got done reading Life Magic by Susan Bowes in this book they talk about witch’s accouterments.
The part of Grimorires it talks about (Copied from Life Magic)

Broke Thats a Good Word For It

Yes I’m pretty well broke. I got a little over a hundred dollar in checking account and still need to pay off the credit card of $35.00 bucks. So we will have $65 to live on somehow we all always get though it.

I stuck back $85 cash for my zoloft and I applied for help with partnership for prescripition assistance Wish time...I’m hoping everything get done before I run out of my pills I could put the $85 some were else.

Plus I’m all most of checks, one left. I’m debating to order more checks because by sometime this summer their going to catch us up to this century with new addresses. If I order checks now and my old address will be on it and I hate carrying cash. I’m so afraid that I’ll loose the cash

Oh I want to do some small things for my self. Get my hair cut under $20 depends were I go. I can even get it done for $10. Plus get my eye brows reshaped I like the hot wax method instead of plucking them most place around here charges $10.

I’ve been trying to do a little accessories my home and self a little more. Last night I paint my finger nails and toe nails with clear nail polish. This morning I put on little make up which coincide of fountains, blush and mascara. I’m planning to get my ear repierce I haven’t wore ear rings in years. My ear closed up.

Third Parties

The other night on P.B.S They were talking about a new and up coming political party called Unity party. This party goal as understand was going to real keep in touch with the people and would like to hear from each individual what are the real issues needing addressed. So I e mailed my 5 area of concern to Idaho Unity Party.

These are the 5 area that need to be addressed in United States and on the road with a detail plan.

1. Universal heath care...With about 40 Million people in the United States does not have proper health insurance. Our neighbor to the north (Canada) spends less on medical then we do and they have a higher standard of living.
2. Livable wage...The current minimum wage of $5.15 an hour isn’t a livable wage for United States for anyone to live on. Someone who makes $5.15 an hour at a 40 hour week job 12 months a year their annual gross is $9,888 a year.
Work should always pay a livable wage.
3. Education...should always be an on going process. An Educated populace can be self governing.
4. Environmental non heavy consumption safe enturstructure.... We need to catch up with other devoloped nation to be competive on the world market. But we need to do it in environmental friendly way.
5. National Debt.. With out a fair tax base and balance budget. Our economy will have trouble growing.

In last there is other concerns that needs addressing but these are my 5 area of concern.
Who ever elected to the white house. Every United States Citizen name should be put in a hat and 5 family names are drawn from the hat and they would get a trip to see the President and have a change to tell him or her “How it is”. People who we elected don’t have a clue to the real world.

The little I read about the Unity party and their ideology is sure different then mine. But still they want to hear from individual and they heard from me. Self thought.. Am I such and odd ball in my political ideal that I’m the only one thinking these area needs addressing

I new they were other political party other then the two main one, Republican and Democrat. Third parties don’t get much of a chance against a big two party system. I mainly vote for presidential candidate a third party, except the last election I voted for Kerry. I didn’t want Dubya in again. I even voted for Ralph Nader at one time

3rd and Last Letter To My Inlaws.

When you snob Murphy your snubbing me.

I honestly don’t know who or what was said to Ulanda. I have my ideals. Or why she started to hate Murphy. I’m talking way before the picture.
But you could of said something like this..Murphy and Peppy are fuckin nympho, but their still part of the family. And came out an visit. So your action speaks louder then your words.
I’d bet that Murphy wouldn’t gave Ulanda that picture.
Ulanda need to be given that picture because Some of the time you guys sit in the same pea pod as we do.
Neither one of you guys had the guts to stand up to Ulanda

I don’t know what was said between Earl and Murphy when those two drove out to game reserve. To best of my understanding Earl had Murphy pretty well calm down until he said Thank god you never said anything to Ulanda about us it would ruin my marriage. This pissed off Murphy. So what did you say about us?

I’ve always gave you guys the benefit of doubt until I ask Earl if Ulanda new we where swingers. Until Earl said I don’t recall. What bothered me is not the answer but his tone of voice went up 10 octaves. I don’t like being lied to.

I don’t have any desire to hurt anyone. At one time we did all get along and we should start mending the fence and put up a good gate.
I still believe we’re all at fault for the falling out between the families. The fence mending well over do and Earl and Tadita needs to help mend the fence as well as Murphy and Peppy.
A note back might start on the right track.

What’s new in your life? Lot ways we are the same and lot of ways we are different, I guess time will do that.
Murphy is done with the spring dig and they dug about 15,000 trees this year. Now he is back to a regular 40 hour week.
I’ve been going to the Gardenia center Sunday services in Sandpoint located at 4th and Church. It’s a metaphysical service with great coffee and company.
Murphy went with me to one of the service I don’t know if he liked it or not. He didn’t come out doing cart wheels. Although he never ran it down.
He said he enjoyed the Buddha gong. To him it was relaxing in a meditating state.
I honestly don’t know if Murphy is going again or not.
I’m planning to June 11 and 25 but plans can changed. The service starts at 10 AM.

Murphy tired to make a new start. I have my ideals why you won’t mend the fence. But it’s just a Theory.
I’m thinking of writing Dr Phil on how to mend the fence between us and put up a good gate. When I write my letter to Dr Phil I’ll present as a double a sword (I won’t telling half truths)
I honest don’t know when I’ll be doing this letter to Dr Phil.

These are neighbor cows across the road from my home. I'd guess there grazing on a little under a 100 acers. I think their about 20 head of cattle and spring calfs.

Highest temp was 91.8 on the 18th of May.
Lowest temp was 23.2 on the 8th of May.
