Today Is Friday November 27 2020, This Is What Happen

Thought I would start out with showing the block I'm embroidering for my oldest granddaughter, slow going. I keep wanting to retire, but I am not set up to retire early. So some where between 63 and 65 I will retire. I know people who for need or greed works up into there 70's.

Still working on my food or food tool theme on my Artist Trading Cards. It done with color pencils. If you have time take tour of these ARTIST

Since it was our Thanksgiving I didn't record what I ate, well today I'm doing it. But I have strong hunch I will be over my calorie limit. Yesterday I did my stretches' and such. Today was the tread mill, and tomorrow back doing the stretches. Sunday is no exercise.

Only chores I done today was vacuum and unload the dish washer.

Today Is Hubby birthday he turn 70. Bart called this morning to wish his dad a happy birthday, he down by Hoover dam on Colorado river, We were middle of doing breakfast and I took over the cooking. I actual don't do much for home chores, which includes cooking. Since Bart wants to talk his dad for his birthday. I thought I would cook and it went ok, surprisingly. Little latter on we did a video conference with Sawyer and there doing ok.  Plus Murphy sister called to wish him a happy birthday. And to find out their sister just had a covid test. I doubt they follow much or any of the C.D.C guide line there in southern Illinois. It common in area to go from home to home and have social. Any how they lean toward Trump. Also found out the sister he was talking to been doing quilt. She retired and have more spendable income. If you confuse hubby has two sisters.

"Maybe those who choose not to follow the CDC guide lines for pandemic. Maybe they should go to back of line when it comes to medical treatment" copied from my facebook post. .

Stay Safe and Coffee is on

  2. Happy 70th Birthday to your Hubby, he is close to same Age as The Man. I Retired early because of Raising Grandchildren and having to be The Man's full time Caregiver after his Brain Damage due to the catastrophic accident, I don't regret Retiring early from the Corporate Grind. Yes, I missed the Money and having my Pension reduced considerably due to having to take an early Retirement for personal reasons, but in the end it all works out. Sometimes we think we need more than we do and I think many people keep slogging away and don't retire out of Fear more than anything else. It's not as if most of them wants to work until they keel over and drop dead while working and never getting to enjoy a Retirement. I know too many who did that and died before they enjoyed a single Day of Retirement... or their Spouse died and then they were Alone in Retirement, which just wasn't what they'd envisioned in their Golden Years at all.

  11. Happy belated birthday to your husband. Some of my cousins were thinking of having a Zoom for Thanksgiving but it never materialized. I did see my son briefly (in person) but we didn't eat together (gave him "takeout"). Stay safe. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com
