Wednesday Pop Up Number Forty.

The flood water haven't recede much in past few weeks and local country people couldn't get there heard animals out to higher ground to graze.
But some of locals and economic had been resistance growth for some decade or even century.
The town had the industries for many generation and change didn't come easily to the town.

But a few seen a possible opportunity of water farming of some type. Not sure fish or sea weed. But there were a lot of question to be answer.
The high water was only temporary and how to keep the water refreshed and enough oxygenated was the biggest problem. And next two was getting the local heard animals in high grounds to graze and what to harvest out of the water.

Peter and Joe knew that Nicholas was from Switzerland and his family were fresh water farmer. They called him and ask if they could stop by a pick his brain about fresh water farming.

They got hold of Nicholas but he was going to be visit the next little while and figured in a week or so. That he would give the two a call when his painting project was done he want to paint his bathroom and trim around the windows of his home.

But now the other problem was how to get the heard animals across the water. So they start to look on internet for environmental engineers with knowledge in civil engineering.
So they contact a few and now they were waiting for response.

Usual Words for Wednesday is list of words that one builds a story from. But this time we had choice of two photos. For more wonderful stories please go over to ELEPHANT CHILD
1.  If you have ever followed the Garfield comic strip, you know Garfield loves lasagna.  What is your favorite Italian food?  Do you over-indulge when it comes to pasta? ...I use to be a lasagna lover or any Italian food mostly manicotti. And now as I got older I have horrible time with dairy. And most of Italian food has cheese.

2.  Tell us about your very first pet.  If you have never had a pet, can you tell us about an animal that touched your life in some way? Our first dog was a beagle and we got him when I was about seven and his name was spot. We had him for years and got hit by a car. I believe I was about fifteen.

3.  Garfield sleeps his day away, only waking to eat or sweet talk his girlfriend Arleen.  How many hours sleep do you normally get each night?  How much sleep do you really need?...My sleep routine is routine. I try to get off the techie stuff a lease an hour before I go to bed. I need my brain to un-wire, well that what I call it. I go to bed around ten and get up between 5 and 7 in morning. I am a morning person.

4.  Garfield lets the mice in the house have their way.  When was the last time you had to chase out a little varmint?...If you want to know something that freaks me out in small rodents. I know I should be happy or lease Thankful when catch them. Even empty mouse trap gives be the heebie Jeebies.
But actual I don't mind the large rodents and that could be guinea pigs or larger.

5.  Garfield also loves his teddy bear Pooky. Did you have a favorite stuffed animal when you were young (or now!)?  If you didn't or don't, what about someone you know? I name all my stuff animals when I was young I had a monkey I name Chatters. Or the truth be known someone else name his because I got him for my first Christmas.
My Grandparents had a box of toys for us grand kids and for some reason I love this smokey bear and he had his forest service uniform on. I would guess he was from the forties. I was known as a little cousin. I was there 24th grand child out of 28th.

6.  Please tell us something about your week, so far! Nothing exciting and I also say my life uneventful and which I am quite grateful. Nothing wrong with dull.
Let see I been doing my walks and chores here and there. Plus my locker hook with fabric and I would estimate I am just half way done. And I figure out my next sketch book projects.

  3. A lovely take on the photo. Sadly the only thing harvested on that particular piece of water is alge. Blue-green algae.

  4. Nice Story. But that stretch of water no matter what requires oxygenating,
The introduction of fish is the answer to the problem every time.

  5. Seems like everyone had a dog first except for me. Not that I minded. I'm firmly a cat person, and as a young child, I was deathly afraid of all dogs.

  6. Thanks for joining in on the Medley today! I enjoyed reading your responses. Sorry you have trouble with dairy and can't enjoy Italian food anymore. I always over-indulge. That flooding looks terrible.

  7. I always named all my toys, not that I had many. Now I have a few stuffed toys, mostly baby chimpanzees in different sizes and colours. My favourite is a honey coloured one I named Harvey Banana.

  8. Our cat was a Garfield-type cat, red, fat, lazy and always eating anything, even gherkins. I love bruschetta, but as I can't eat garlic (or onions) most Italian cuisine makes me fell ill.

  10. Smokey bear looks a little like an ape - at least from planet of the apes.
