It is rich in details [blades of grass peeking through the snow, droplets of ice frozen on branches], it has a strong foreground [the three differing size trees, which form a nice triangle], and an intriguing background [a lake and snow covered hills]. The more I look at this image, the more I like it, especially after enlarging it...kudos..
