Who's On The Bench

I have wonder how things pop up on social media or how things might be placed on a google search.
Let briefly do an experiment...Going do a brief search for "Slipper how to make them"  The first one to pop up is SPRUCE CRAFTS.
And last two is from E HOW and FELT SLIPPERS from the same site. Then on the very bottom of page is MOOGLY BLOG and there seven ways of making slippers.
So how and who decides in which order these sites comes up.

Well even facebook I wonder who on the bench and you are players. And I will try to make this as brief as possible.
When I went over to facebook these 12 things our or were on my news feed.
1. Friend made a post
2. Sponsored post "Windows Micro Soft"
3. Friend made a post
4. Friend shared a video (Armadillo)
5. First posting from a group I belong to (World Wide Hippie)
6. Second posting from a group I belong to (Scrappy Girl Club)
7. Friend shared a post (facebeak Aviaries)
8. Sponsored post (Lego)
9. Friend Shared a post (Egg Nog by Noshery)
10. Friend shared a picture (Truth and Lie meet one day)
11. Budget 101. (Not sure who and what this is completely)
12. Friend shared a video (Dogie)
Let just say why does Ruth post shows up on my page but Angela doesn't.
Complete understand why social media have to run ads. I doubt any individual would pay for social media. I know I wouldn't I would be closing my accounts if I had to pay for it.
But friends and family who set on bench and who plays.

Coffee is on

  1. It involves mathematics of some kind, so experts say. I like to think it's simply magic.

  2. I would definitely not be on social media if we had to pay Dora, I'm not so keen on it even for free 😀

  3. I actually just did a blog post on how ranking works. It has to do with how "reliable" a site is considered. How do they figure that? Links. How many sites link back to it.

There are other factors that go into this, of course. If you do a search, there are plenty of articles. (My blog post is up on californiacraftersclubofetsy.blogspot.com.)

  4. I like blogs more than social media, but I think both can be useful.
