Got Results

I finely got hold of someone about the stool sample I sent in. Good news all came back with normal result in sample.
But still have dirarrhea. So this afternoon I went to have an xray and found out the hospital computer system was down.
So no xray. Never know how long things like that could take for them to be up and running. It was getting late in the day.
I'll go over late morning or early afternoon to get my xray, and then early afternoon I see the doctor.
Strange thing I don't feel bad at all. It so inconvenient.
For now I'm not going second guess what it is.

Got a few extra step. As Regis visit with his speech therpist I decide to walk around for a while.

Coffee is on

glad the results were clear of anything nefarious... has any medic suggested Irritable Bowel Syndrom to you? Quite often, it is a diagnosis by ilimination of other diagnoses, but I think there is now blood testing for it. There are a variety of symx but the most common is fluctuation between constipation and diarrhoea, bloating and sometimes a twisting feeling in the adomen. Sending wishes for getting the attention required! YAM xx

  2. Could be an allergy or an intolerance to certain foods. I'm not allergic to dairy foods but I am intolerant. The difference is an allergy can have a severe life threatening reaction, but intolerance just causes discomfort or diarrhea. I get this when I eat 'extra creamy ice cream' or if I have too much milk, like too many milkshakes in a week. So in summer I limit my milkshakes to just one or two a month and I don't buy the extra creamy ice cream. I buy an ice cream brand made locally that is gluten free and palm oil free, and still limit the amount I have each week.
Try noticing what you eat, maybe write it down and notice if you have diarrhea or not. If you do, then stop eating one of the foods for a week or two and if the diarrhea stops, then you found the food causing it. If it doesn't stop, put that food back on the menu and stop eating a different food and keep doing that until you find which food is the troublemaker. Then you just don't eat that particular food ever again.

  4. This is probably one time you don't want a normal result.

Thank the Universe it came back OK. I had 6 polyps removed from my colon last year and I waited two weeks for the news that nothing was cancerous. Got to stay up on this stuff Ms Dora. Take care and hope you get to feeling better real soon!
