Last night I was watching original star trek and the show was "Is there no truth in beauty" and how looks influnence our judgement.
There this photo on group called Bonners Ferry politics and shit. I wonder what people reaction might be if an unattrative woman was packing. At this point only one person comment, a female
I have a lot of firearms and I open an carry.
Question time....Does appearance make one prejudice.
Notice as I get older health is very important. And when I was young I recall laughing or thinking when older people say "If you don't have your health you don't have nothing"
I notice people are having more fun with how they look, even older people.
Liz went and looked at rig and she refuse it. I believe I would of too refuse. Way over price for what it is.
Regis leg is real giving hime quite a bit of pain. He got some pinch nerve in back.
Well Liz end up emergency room with what I would call a frozen shoulder.
Weigh in tomorow at my local top group. Weather holding and I got a small walk in this morning.

I don't agree with everybody owning guns at all. Police and Military should be enough.
ReplyDeleteLooks makes no difference in the end, an ugly person might be the nicest person you ever met, same way a beautiful person might be the worst unkind type there is. And vice versa.

Yeah, they didn't use an ugly woman on that poster. I bet if someone did (or a woman of color!), the reaction would be completely different.
ReplyDeleteLet me rephrase... I bet if they used an ugly woman, the reaction would be completely different. Or, if they used a woman of color (for they used a white woman on the poster), there would be a whole lot of outrage.
DeleteI realized how I paired that made it sound like I was equating a person of color with an ugly person, and that couldn't be further from the truth.
