September Cheak In (2017)

October is here. As none of you could figure that out. It been a while since I've done a report. Well our leaves are now starting to turn colors.
It hasn't froze either. A little rain did fall toward last half of September.

I know each and everyone of us important in our own special way. Everyone on this beautiful planet will leave his or her legacy.
Gee I hope none of you are tweeting like our President Trump does. Or should say have his crazy mind set. I'll just leave it at that.
What I real want to talk about is my bullet journal. I have no trouble planning but marking off things as I complete them.
Or give some type of progress report.

End of September I had my friend LaWalla sign me up for a quilting class. I took one last winter in Troy Mt.
I only had a small bit to do, put on the binding. Well I didn't make it to the last class.
This time they will be doing what they call "Sand Castles" I have to speak up on this..."It doesn't have any thing to with castle, beach or sand" well I wonder why and how certain quilt get there name.
The good thing this one is made out flower print fabric, which I already have quite a bit of piece of fabric. I can use.
It looks like I don't have to put much out. It strongly recommed that vintage flower material to be used.

It been a long time since I had a CHARLEY HORSE, well I figure it was lack of bananas I been eating. So I thought it would be wise for me to get some.

I don't know when the last time I did a PERSONAL ITY INSIGHT.....You are inner-directed and skeptical.
You are philosophical: you are open to and intrigued by new ideas and love to explore them. You are empathetic: you feel what others feel and are compassionate towards them. And you are deliberate: you carefully think through decisions before making them.
Your choices are driven by a desire for organization.
You are relatively unconcerned with both achieving success and tradition. You make decisions with little regard for how they show off your talents. And you care more about making your own path than following what others have done.

  3. Sand Castles - hmm, pretty sounding name for a pattern. Odd that has no resemblance to castles, or beach or the like. Are you going to finish the binding on the first quilt?

I've heard of Charley Horse. It seems to be the same as leg cramps.

  6. Yeah, I'd eat a few bananas, too, for the potassium. Should help the leg cramps.

  7. Trump's tweets even made the news over here! There were comments about why Twitter didn't ban some of this tweets - just as they monitor other social media accounts and ban racist or hate inciting tweets, some were saying that Trump's tweets should not be allowed.

  8. You have really had a fun time with your quilting. It will be a great reward when you can snuggle up in your quilt. How proud is that?
Quilts have told marvelous stories throughout the years. I don't quilt but I've read several books on quilting.
    Oh those good bananas.

  11. Quilt names are fascinating. I'm sure there's some interesting history behind that name.
