Just finish up our family
reunion...Like any reunion or any event there not much difference on
how things goes.
Relatives sure comes in all sorts of
ways. Confession time...Some I sure wouldn't pick for friends.
This reunion was
on the small size 60 showed up.
Murphy went out
and water the garden, and as he was coming out of the gate the
decoration on top fell on him. Bruise up his arm and I gave him a
cold compress to put on it. And a aspirin
Looks like our
raspberries should be ready to pick any time.
It's well into the
90°
(32°)
In
our local T.O.P.S group
I notice those who became kops (keeping off pounds sensible) who lost
there weight and is at goal. The married ones and basically they told
there husband to go to hell and they was going to eat there own way.
So
they start to eat with common sense and got out and move more.
I
found out one of those on line thing to keep track of what you eat
helps.
I
felt I did good at the reunion but I over did with the sweets this
morning. But my eating goal I need to keep my daily calorie count
between 1,800 to 2,000.
I've
been doing my water intake over 24 oz daily. I know I need to
increase that, and more movement.
I'm
going to do some juicing and add to a smoothie and take it to lunch.
I
know this won't happen on daily, this needs to happen 3 days a week.
I
didn't make my last goal. By end of July my weight lost goal is to be
down to 220. (99.7) To complete this goal I need to loose 3 (1.3)
I
know this isn't end of it.
Coffee
is on
Funny, but true, not all relatives are people we would want for friends! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery true, but every family has those relatives they only hang around with at functions like this.
ReplyDeleteI've never been to a reunion of any kind. Not family, not school, nothing.
ReplyDeleteI haven't reached any weight loss goals either, but I think I've reached a point where I can give up eating sweet things, so I can give the weight loss a more serious try. I need to lose twenty pounds at least, to fit in my jeans again. Thirty pounds would be better.

ReplyDeleteI have managed to find myself being 'otherwise committed' any time a family gathering has taken place. There are very few among them with whom I have any true connection and to gather like that seems to me to be saying to a group off the street to come socialise. Why would you do that??? YAM xx
I keep hearing about family reunions. Sadly, my family has never had one. Not that there are that many of us.
