Spring Ahead And All Is Good

First day of daylight SAVING TIME I actual wonder if we need into day world. Since there light a little longer and the day was Had a little more of an opportunity to play fetch with Ms Daisy. She still loves it but she sure don't run and play as hard when she was young.
Pretty much the same story for me. At one time I use to run every place.

Stayed home and worked on crafts. Finish up sewing the blocks on my quilt and got my class tomorrow over in Troy Montana.
Finish up the coral color on the locker hook rug I been working on.
Had plan to move on to yellow.

Instead I thought of doing up the multi color area because I was watching a DVD called a BEAUTIFUL MIND  as I work on the locker hook rug.
Pretty much one can be brain numb to it.
Well couple of my friends rate in pretty high. I know I wouldn't use the term high but it was well above average.

Now for the cats Zig and Abner there doing fine. At this time Zig is waiting for Murphy to get out of the shower.
When either one of us shower or take a bath. Zig stands by the bathroom door and wait until we can get out so he can jump in.

Over the weekend I did a little more work on my family history. Still trying to hunt down my 2nd great grandfather in 1850 census in the city of Philadelphia.
But then I picked up to surname SANDERSON and NOBLE but these names are ways back.

Mango and yogurt for snack today.

Coffee is on

I certainly know what you mean about slowing down, both me and the dog we are looking after.

  2. Mum used to run everywhere once too. These days she leaves all the running to me. I don't understand that daylight saving stuff. The sun comes up and the sun goes down ..... EVERY DAY .... you can't SAVE daylight, aye??

  3. I don't mind having more daylight at the end of the work day...but losing that hour of sleep is pain.

Thanks for stopping by the blog. I have slowed down too but we rescued a 2 yr old pup that still has lots of energy! Looking forward to having more light at the end of the day.

  6. Here I thought you said quilt class was over. My bad.
I wish they would leave the time alone, leave it one way or the other.

  7. I used to do hooked rugs but lately i've just used a large crochet hook and make rugs from old sheets.
Do you live in Montana? I do and welcome some of the highter temps we're having right now.

Our clocks don't spring until the end of the month. Definitely finding adjust to that hour more difficult as I grow older... perhaps because it is just not that necessary any more? YAM xx

  10. I'm once again living in a part of the world which doesn't practice daylight savings and I must say that I'm pretty happy that's the case. Found the moving the clock backwards or forwards at certain designated days of the year rather muddlesome as well as meddlesome!

  11. I vote we end daylight savings time. I prefer the light in the morning.

  12. I don't like daylight saving. There aren't more daylight hours, just different clock times. At the end of a long hot day, I really don't need the clock to be telling me it's only 7pm or whatever time it says, I just want that glaring sun to go down.
