Save It For The Ride

Breakfast was broke down because of the dentist. The appointment was so early in the morning. Actual I was the first one in the chair.
So I might as well post what I ate....Breakfast stop at super one I got breakfast sandwich out the deli and when I cam home I made bowl steel cut outs. Add some walnuts, raisin, and fresh raspberries from our garden.
Lunch a burrito. Ate before I went to work.
Dinner ground beef patty, salad, and rice.
Few snack ice cream sandwich, chic o stick, and skittles.

The dentist ride in chair about took me for a loop. I had a crack filling and no decay. So they had to remove the old one and replace it with a new one.
There was quite a bit of drilling, and few times I thought I was going to drown. With all that water being sprayed in my mouth.
Few times the dentist would stop and ask if I want to take a break.
I said "I'm fine just keep drilling" well I should of sat up and let the blood flow back down to my feet.
When the ride in dentist chair was done. Since they slightly set you with your head below everything. When we were done and I sat up I felt a little dizzy and sore.

I took both my clients to the pow wow about 3 and found out they didn't start til 7PM. So we look at some of the native crafts. Some pretty stuff but way out of my price range.

I recall our local tribe the KOOTENAI and they were horrible discriminated against. Having dirt floors and being drunk. Figuring there was no way out of there situation.
Now like lot of tribes they have there casino. Played in there every so often. I'm a person who can't afford to play the slots.
The tribe is doing quite well and like a lot people who gets some wealth. They figure everyone is in the same boat.
And can sloop down $250 for bracelet. I went in store with one of them to get dinning room table and she told me it was a good buy at $5,000.
My friend Alice knows them better and she went down to Las Vegas and she got her a $300 perm.
I surely couldn't afford those prices and I know Alice couldn't either.
Cheapest thing at the pow wow was $5.00 lemon aide.

So we went looking for yard sale. Up in three mile area. So we stop over at the Three Mile Antique place.
Liz went and looked for at the rose shop which also sell antique. So found a BREYERS HORSES. Well I don't recall the clerk over to the Three Mile Antique shop but she was a waitress over at the three mile cafe, ages ago.
My husband gave her a tree. Which I don't recall but the tree is doing fine.

But they a nice selection of cotton fabric. Look fairly price but didn't have time to go though them. But I picked up two fat quarters for $1.50. Usual there $2.00 to $3.00 at any of local fabric shop.
So I bought two Fat Quarters.

Editor Note...I thought or planning to have this posted on Friday the 29th of July. Well it Saturday evening July 30th

I like to keep my word and told Liz that I would come in and pick her up and take her back to her place.
I can tell you one thing would sure majorly tick me off. Every time phone rings Regis asking her "who is it"
I know I've post that they're in-law at one time. Liz Sister was married to Regis at one time.
I guess she put the phone down and she went to the bath room. Regis look and some male was calling. Well Regis ask who "John Doe" was.
I'm fairly sure I would of flipped out.

After ward Murphy and I went took a drive up Myrtle Creek. Hopeful I'll share more photos

Coffee is on

  1. I'm glad your tooth was fixed before it became troublesome. I don't mind going to the dentist, but all that water spray does make you choke a bit sometimes. And I hate the chair. I'm short so if I sit comfortably my head isn't properly on the head rest, so she asks me to shuffle up a bit and then I'm very aching in my back after. Those chairs aren't made for short people.

  3. When the water hits your tonsils, it does feel as if the dentist means to drown you!

Seems everyone adjusts their standards according to their income, it doesn't matter who they are.

I take it you had a good time at the Pow Wow, $5 for lemonade? Was it made out of Holy Water? Unreal.

Wow. That Pow Wow sounds like a lot of window shopping to me. $5.00 lemonade? Holy cannoli! I'd of went in search of yard sales too. I'm happy you and Murphy were able to get away to some place beautiful but then again, it's Idaho. Everywhere is beautiful here. :) Happy you got your tooth fixed too. There is nothing like tooth pain, that's for sure.
