Four Seems To Keep Things In Balance

I like to eat four items for my lunch. Since New Year my work schedule been a little off. Went to work to day, and took no lunch.
When I got home I was starving. But when I take four items in my lunch it keeps things in balance. So when I got home, well dinner was cooking in the oven. Oven Fries, pork ribs, and both peas, and the pods.
I got a little carried away with the fries.
Breakfast before I left was an McVandenberg.
Confession time...Instead of one sweet I ate two. I was at one of the local thrift store and they had one of those candy machine, and I bought a quarter worth of jelly beans.
And when I got home I had a small piece of BAKLAVA

Meaning to post about my husband Colonoscopy. He had I believe 2 polyp and the type he had tend to be come CANCEROUS.
With his family history. His dad had colon cancer, and his two sister had the type of polyps that is likely to turn to cancer.
So he goes in every three years and have his colon checked.
They also told him he should .
of started a 50 having it checked. Never could afford it, very few of our jobs every had health insurance. And if we did it was pretty crappy insurance, with such a high deductible that we would have a hard time meeting it.
Since Murphy and I been married our income been between $20,000 and $30,000. Four of us lived on that.

Might as well call it two checks. We receive our energy money. Which went on our electrical bill. This year we received $456.00.
Received my last check of 2015. Well for the year I made $14, 967.16. Net.
The company I work for uses a K-1 FORM 1065 so we all partners in the business.
My best guess we made all together $28, 003.16. Net
If you one broke that down to an hourly wage of forty hour work week. One would be making only $14.60 an hour.

Once a month our local earth base faith, SPAIRFITERA. And nothing is sit in stone so our local group will be going to HEART ROCK WINES, this month.
We're trying to pull other pagans and a like out of the broom closet.
Also will be brought up is doing a monthly giving box.

Coffee is on

  1. Only one small piece of Baklava? You show great restraint!

Colonoscopy - sorry for his need to go so often. That stuff is no fun.

It's so difficult to make a living these days. Kudos to you and your family for making it work Dora. It's certainly challenging. I will keep your husband and family in my prayers that the cancer stays away. I am a survivor - a miracle really - myself so I know how scary that whole scenario is. I LOVE jelly beans and wouldn't have been able to walk away from that machine until it was empty but I totally get the small piece of baklava. It's always been way too sweet for me and a small piece is really all I could handle.

  5. It's rough, going through colonoscopies on that kind of a schedule. I used to work with a woman whose grandmother and mother both died from colon cancer, and she had to have the screenings frequently. Thank heavens those exist, though. I have a family history of pancreatic cancer, and there is no screening test for that. It's my biggest fear. Alana ramblinwitham.blogspot.com

  6. Today's economy (and medical expenses) almost makes it a necessity to be two-income homes.

And yes, as someone else said, you managed to stop at ONE piece of baklava?? That stuff is amazing!
