A big portion of our veggie garden in.
Yesterday Murphy and I put in a 2 by 3 foot of kohlrabi. Today we did
2 X8 of parsnips, 2x2 of turnips and one artichoke
Usual on the south side of our place I
put in a few veggie. But last year we did all the trim and the south
side of place really needs to be done.
Replace some siding.
So everything didn't get planted.
At this time I'm not going to list what
I planted. But in photo we put in tomatoes, peppers, and tomatillos.
In different spot we put some black
plastic on ground to warm it up. We did this with the pole beans.
We're growing three different types. Two of them my friend Quenella
gave to us.
The strawberries are now starting to
form. Don't expect to pick any toward the middle of June. Haven't yet
had chance to look over the raspberries but the plants look real
healthy. Place 3 artichoke behind the pole beans.
Looks like we might still possible have
about an 12 or 14 foot roll beside the strawberries.
I took a short walk yesterday on the
south hill. My left hip been giving me trouble. Been doing some
stretching and taking the cheap version of Tylenol.
I been taking off some of my weight.
Actual for the month of May I lost the second most weight in our
T.O.P.S group.
Been eating 1,800 to 2,000 calories a
day. Massively cut back on the refine sugar. Not saying I don't eat
something naughty, only one day a week.
Last Tuesday was my naughty day and I
had a .25¢ vanilla ice cream
cone.
No
eating after seven in the evening. If I do want or need to eat I have
naked pop corn. Nothing on it.
Coffee
is on
very, very impressive garden. it puts my little tomato patch to shame.
