Weekend Photo Hunt (Close Up-Plant)

Later on in Winter when the ground is white. Grey Jays will show up and start to nibble and nibble on little apples until they become tipsy. But right now the leaves are starting to turning color with the bright red apples. So I thought I would use a close up for my photo shot.

When we were out yesterday (10-11-13) getting firewood. The mountain are sure pretty during the fall.
Kinnikinnick is one of my favor plant that grows around here. I have taste the red berries which taste like tart apple; quite favorable. It sure would take a lot of berries to do anything with.

It been a while since I took part in photo hunt meme . I take part in two of them Gattina and Sandi. (Likes to follow) Each week were given a theme to take picture of, and share our picture'
So next week themes will be vehicle and or zip

I have to say I'm impress with the craft how to over at samhain siren There showing how to make a mask. Part of the give away over at Samhain siren is the mask. Which was made by Sosannas

Not sure how this would taste but I like both brandy and tequila and there a drink called “Gates of hell”
1 tsp. Brandy, cherry
1 1/2 oz. Tequila, white
2 tsp. Lemon Juice
2 tsp. Lime Juice

Shake tequila, lemon juice and lime juice in a cocktail shaker with ice cubes. Strain into a glass. Drip a teaspoon of cherry brandy over the top of the drink and serve.

Plus there other interesting links and fun over at Samhain Siren...”Oh My”

Coffee is on

  1. I had no idea that Grey Jays nibbled on the baby apples to get tipsy. Now that I know other animals indulge in these sorts of activities, I'll never feel bad about my wine drinking again... LOL

Awesome photos of your garden and what a cool little tidbit. Thank ya :)
