I Believe I'm doing More in Life then (Samhain Siren and NaBloWriMo

End of October is pretty much here. I been taking part in two blog events one is Samhain Siren and the other is NaBloWriMo.
Samhain Siren is a blog about Halloween Celebration. I'm not going to explain it but I'm leaving a (link) todays celebration...farther down in blog
In November there is National Write A Novel Month. I don't see my self taking part in Novel of the month. But soon as I fine the scoop on it. I'll do a blurt on it.
Now those who wonder what is (NaBloWriMo) it simple it to blog everyday for the month of October.
One may ask how I'm doing...I missed one day of blogging.

Ms Vicky is giving away some Mini wax burner and some pumpkin spice. She has what I would call a blog
which looks a feels friendly.
Mummy Head Candy Apples

Ingredients:
8 small apples,
8 sticks,
2.5 cups white candy melts or coating wafers (14 oz),
chopped black paste icing color (not liquid food color)

1) Wash and dry apples; remove stem and blossom ends. Insert wooden stick into stem end of each apple.

2) In medium microwavable bowl, microwave candy melts uncovered on High 45 seconds or until melted; stir until smooth.

  1. Dip each apple in melted coating, turning and spreading to coat. Let stand on waxed paper until firm. With fork, drizzle remaining melted coating (reheat if necessary) across coated apples in zigzag fashion to look like mummies. With black paste icing, pipe eyes on each apple. Let stand until set.

There other spooky stuff over at samhain siren today

If your wondering if my life is so routine. Confession time...I know it is and I feel like some time I just grumble about my job (home-care/personal care) outside of the home.
I haven't done any major effort toward any my goals. But recently I've done more time in the homecare area. But like I said that I won't be going out to Joel and Candy after this month.
The little bit of income does come in handy.
Working with Faith really don't feel like a job. Statement time..I'm surely not looking forward going out to Joel and Candy place.
I started Ellie on her place and she told me about this new way of cleaning window and it works fantastic.

Here the recipe....
¼ cup of corn starch
½ gallon of warm water so the corn starch can dissolved.
Take a rag and get it wet in the corn starch mixture and ring out your rag and start washing your window. Do a small area and dry with a paper towels. I personal like newspaper to dry my window with.

This was the best window I've every cleaned in my entire life.

These are the three ceramic project I been tinkering with. I believe the largest one might be hard to figure out. It was part of a book ends. I picked it up at the Good will in Sandpoint and thought it might be a decorative piece in a masculine theme.
As one can see I been working on two ornaments.

I need to do more organizing and increase my inventory before I can really set up a ceramic business.

One may fine some interesting blogs over at NaBloWriMo there a list on the left hand side who is taking part this year...2012.

Coffee is on.
